Check out Naomi's Gift, Melione's Curse by MikaRauch on Wattpad to see an awesome Original Story I am writing. This one comes with a lot of gods from all sorts of myths.

I am writing another epic story called Heirs to Misfortune on Wattpad as well, so check that out too.

And finally, a Hades/Persephone love story called A Dance Among Equals.

P.S. I just got Grammarly, which is really helping my spelling, grammar, and word choice so I hope you notice improvement...

As they walked into the Attic, Paige ranted. " I'm telling you, that was a demon."

Piper sat down on a couch near the book, pulling on another book and flipping through it. Bryce followed Paige and Grams to the Book of Shadows, his mind racing and going through the various demons had read about in the book. The ax-wielding maniac didn't really fit any criteria, he hadn't felt like a demon... he felt more like Cole, a human imbued with extra power.

Leo didn't seem to agree with Paige. "Except, since when do demons attack with an ax?"

Paige looked at him. " Athame, ax, what's the difference?"

Grams started flipping through the book. "Oh, who cares? Let's just see if there's any more where he came from. I mean, I certainly don't want a body if it's gonna get chopped up."

"Well, Piper says you're the super witch, what do you think he was?"

"I don't know. Although there was something about him that looked familiar."

"A little like this maybe?" She held up the book in her hand, one of Fairytales, opened to the Woodsman from Snow-white.

Grams had an aha moment. "Oh, the woodsman, of course. Oh, you recognized him too."

"I read fairy tales to my baby just like you read to me."

Grams giggled. "Oh, darling. Well, I'm glad you're finally doing something."

Paige stepped around the book. "Wait, you're saying a fairy tale character came to life and attacked us? Come on." She rolled her eyes.

"Why not, the gods of old were real according to the book, why not Fairytales?" Bryce intervened, getting the Halliwells attention. "You'd think you'd be more accepting of what is not known."

Grams nodded. "He's right, there is a whole host of hidden things in the world. Fairy tales are not all fables, my dear. Some are recountings of ancient battles between good and evil. And they're as much a part of our heritage as anything in the Book of Shadows."

Paige wasn't moved. "You expect me to believe that there are giant beanstalks and gingerbread houses that actually existed."

"You used to think that the Evil Enchantress was just a fairy tale too, didn't you?" Leo said.

"That was different. That was..."

"A past life. Yours." Piper snarked, making Bryce wonder if he had a past life.

Before he had the chance to ask, Phoebe stalked upstairs with a beautiful ornate gift box in her hands. "Hey, you guys, was anyone here when this got... Grams!"

"In the flesh. So to speak." The two powerful witches hugged.

"Oh, it's so good to see you. Wait, what did I just hug? Where did you get the body from?"

Piper turned to her. " Oh, it's a long story. And speaking of stories, a fairy tale just tried to slice our heads off. Bryce fought him off, pretty well too." She gave him a proud look, smiling with all the warmth of a mother. He may have blushed at the sight.

Phoebe looked confused. "A fairy tale?"

Leo nodded. "The Woodsman from Snow White."

"Okay, well, that would explain where these came from, glass slippers. (She shows them the gift.) Cinderella's no doubt. Cole knows it's my favorite."

Piper didn't look convinced, and she was the only one that noticed the rage building in Bryce's face. "Cole? You think Cole is doing all of this?"

Phoebe went on. "Who else has enough power to turn fairy tales against us? I told you he was gonna attack." Then she went flying back as she was hit with an energy ball.

Everyone whipped to Bryce, who had another light-formed energy ball in his hand. "Turns outrage is my trigger for this power." His tone was ice cold, hateful and filled to the brim with a rage he had never felt. "Cole has spent every day with me, or at work. When the hell would he have time to be so petty as to make your life miserable? He's not you Phoebe, pettiness is not an inherent trait for him."

Piper raised her hands. "Let's be calm, shall we?"

"No, Piper. She needs to get over herself and stop blaming a guy who, at this point, has done nothing wrong to her or literally anyone else. He does probono work as a lawyer, saves lives as an empowered mortal, and generally saves lives. He teaches me to be a powerful witch the serves good, whereas you never train or better yourself, you just sit on your ass and whine about a life you ruined when you choose to be the Queen of All Evil as opposed to him who was forced by a literal parasitic force." It was about here that he realized he was glowing brighter than ever, filling the room with his power. Taking a deep breath, he turned to Leo. "Magic follows patterns, I noticed that when I red the book. These are no different, I imagine. Follow the story and you should find the source of our issues. I am going to my room before I kill your sister in law."

With that he teleported away, back to his room...

Only for something to slam into his chest, knocking him to his back. Looking up, he saw an ornate puppet of a little boy. "I must be a real boy!" It screeched, before opening it's mouth and sucking. White light pulled from Bryce's chest and everything went black.

Silence overtook the attic as the witches and Leo processed what happened. Piper specifically wasn't sure if she wanted to laugh at her sister, she kind of deserved what happened, or be furious her sister was attacked.

Thankfully Leo broke the silence. "I think I'd better go check with the Elders."

"I think you better." Leo then orbed out, just as Phoebe started to take off her shoes." What are you doing?"

Phoebe snarked. " Proving that I'm right. Then Bryce will owe me an apology."

Paige stepped forward. " Hey, that's risky. You don't know what could happen."

"Well, I know that Cole won't hurt me, physically anyway."

"Well, as much as I distrust him, we don't know that it's him behind this. Besides Bryce is right, Cole hasn't done anything wrong and has been training him nonstop, when would he have time for this?"

Grams shrugged her shoulders. "All the more reason to play along, find out who is. We can't just sit around here and wait to be attacked."

"She could get killed. Piper, a little support here."

Piper wanted to agree, feeling tiny compared to Grams... but the look on Bryces' face got to her. "It wasn't Cole, we know that... and you should just put on magical anything without knowing better." She barely got the words out by the time Phoebe put on the slippers.

"See, no problem. I'm fine." It was then that a powerful blue light swirled around her sister, changing Phoebe's clothes into a beautiful ballgown. "Actually, I'm better than fine." Then, like a robot, Phoebe's legs started dramatically moving away towards the door. " Whoa."

Piper called out. "Where are you going?"

"Whoa."

"Where are you going?"Piper and Paige followed Phoebe."

Phoebe called out, "I don't know! I can't stop!" She tried to stop, as did her sisters but failed.

"Well, get out of them."

"I can't. The door. The door." She held onto the frame.

"Grams, what do we do?"

"Just let her go. We're never gonna be able to get to the bottom of this if you don't." Grams said as Phoebe walked obnoxiously down the stairs. " Paige, follow her, orb her out if she gets in trouble."

"She's already in trouble."

Phoebe called out "Help!" and Paige followed her.

"I'm gonna have to help you get ready for being a mother later. Right now we've got to deal with evil witches."

Piper said. "Right." She headed for the Book Of Shadows.

Grams tutted. " Oh, uh, not that book." She picked up the fairy tale book. "This one."

"Piper." A low, groaning voice made Piper jump and turned to the door alongside Grams... only to look on in horror as Bryce... who was no longer human. His body, from what she could tell, was wooden and delicately carved. He had a flat expression on his face and looked... horrible. "Pinocchio took my soul... I think, he is a real boy but I am becoming a puppet. Help would be appreciated." Then he collapsed, like a puppet who's string had been cut. Piper hurried over to him, but the last word on his lips before he went still was the word. "Cole." That came out like a prayer.

She reached her friend just as Cole appeared in a fade of light. He looked utterly pissed the moment his eyes landed on Bryce, the smile on his face burning away into something that scared Piper more than the Source ever had.

"What happened?" He said, and Piper knew that whoever caused all this would suffer a fate worse than death... and it was their own damn fault.
