I walked to the casino, by myself, after training, since I was feeling pretty bored. When I walked in, a certain prize caught my eye.

I saw a key that had a heart at the top of it. It is worth 1000 monocoins, so I suppose I could use some of mine to buy it.

I took out my coins and put it in the machine, dropping out the prize.

"Wonder what this could be for?" I said to myself, before storing the key in my jacket pocket.

I headed back to my dorm to go to sleep, since it was getting late. When I was about to lay down, Monokuma appeared.

"Hey space boy, wondering what that prize ya got is for?" He asked.

I furrowed an eyebrow, "Yeah but why are you here so late?" I asked, as I was starting to get annoyed.

"Well this is a key to the Love suite, a place you can only access in your dreams." He responded putting his paws together.

I scratched my chin, "What do you mean by in my dreams?" I asked.

Monokuma smirked, "I mean where you can access someone else's fantasies and be their significant other/ or person they fancy, if you get what I mean?" He said as he stuck out his tongue.

"How the hell is that even possible?" I asked as I put my fist up.

"Anything is possible in this academy! Now do you wanna use it now or not, but remember to play along or you may ruin it and wake them up." Monokuma said with a sinister chuckle.

I scratched the back of my head, "Well I mean sure... Hopefully I won't get someone like Miu." I said with a disgusted look, as I pictured what might happen with her.

"Alrighty then, just hold the key while you sleep, and it'll work like magic. Have fun." Monokuma said with a smirk before teleporting away.

I shrugged and went to sleep with the key in hand, as said by monokuma.

When I closed my eyes everything went dark.

After about 30 seconds I woke up in a pink room. I rubbed my eyes and noticed a figure of someone family in front of me.

"Maki Roll?" I asked as my eyes widened in disbelief.

"Hey Kaito." Maki said as her cheeks turned pink.

"So uh what's going on?" I asked awkwardly, not knowing what to say.

Maki sighed, "I thought you would know by now, but of course an idiot like you wouldn't get the message." She said with a flustered pout.

I smiled awkwardly, not knowing what the hell she was talking about.

"Maki Roll, could you, uh maybe, explain what your trying to say?" I asked

Maki crossed her arms and sat down on the bed, "After the killing game, I wanted to tell you how I feel... I just can't keep these feelings in anymore." She said as her cheeks turned even more red.

I blushed, "Maki Roll... I understand what your talking about." I said with a smile.

Maki looked up at me and pouted, "Well... how do you feel about me?" She asked as she fiddled with her pigtail and stared at the ground.

I wasn't sure how to respond, "would she remember this?" I thought to myself.

Maki looked down and frowned, "Thought so, I shouldn't have even bothered..." She said before she got up off the bed and was about to walk out.

I stopped her by grabbing her hand, "Maki Roll! Please don't go!" I begged her with a smile.

She turned around and blushed, "That damned smile..." she muttered with a smile as she walked closer to me.

I wasn't sure what to do I the situation, so I decided to pull her in for a hug.

Maki jumped in surprise but then wrapped her hands around my waist.

"Kaito... Thank you for encouraging me to be a better person and to like myself a bit more." She said as she stared up at my with a heart-warming smile, still hugging me.

I blushed and smiled back, "You're welcome Maki Roll, your my sidekick, of course I gotta help you out." I said as I stared down at her.

Her face went from a big smile to a frown, "Huh? Was it something I said?" I thought to myself.

She pulled away and turned around, "I don't wanna be your sidekick anymore." Maki said as she faced away from me.

My eyes widened, "Huh?! What do you mean...?" I asked with a frown.

Maki turned back around with her face beet red, "I-I wanna be your girlfriend!" She said with a pout.

My eyes widened, as my face turned red, not knowing how to respond, "Maki Roll..." I muttered, before finally deciding on what to say.

"Fine, be my girlfriend! I want you to be happy and if that's what makes you happy then, of course!" I said with a big smile as my face was still red.

Maki's eyes widened in surprise and soon turned to tears.

She ran towards me and hugged me falling onto the bed, with me below her.

"Thank you... I have never felt this way about anyone before..." she said as she cried into my chest.

I sat up with her on my lap, smiling and comforting her as her tears drenched my shirt, "Don't cry Maki Roll, I wanna see you smile." I said as I stared down at her.

She looked up and gave me the best smile I've seen, "I love it Maki Roll, keep it up." I said with a big smile.

...

I woke up with a smile, believing the dream I had was real, but to my disappointment it wasn't.

It was all just a dream...

Just as Monokuma said...
