As I walked down the hill, I did keep an eye out for Dane, but sadly he wasn't anywhere nearby.

"Focus Natalie!" I told myself. "You got more important things to worry about than a cute boy, such as...everything about this situation!"

Getting back on on track, I eventually made it down the hill. Waiting for me at the bottom of the hill was a building that read BATHROOM on it. I did have to go, so I quickly headed for the side marked for females. Before I go could go in though, the door burst opened and a girl walked out. She was more on the shorter side, but not super short. She had dyed pink hair that was a decent size long. She wore a maroon dress shirt and short skirt, with a pink tie on her dress skirt. She was also sporting long black boots. Honestly, she looked really cute with her looks and outfit. I should also mention that I am a little bit bisexual, but not a whole lot. I am attracted to some other girls, as well as notice they're beauty. However, I usually don't try to go anywhere beyond that point as my main interest is guys. But for sure, this girl was cute. She walked out of the female side of the bathroom, and I saw that she had a tablet as well. Once our eyes met, I got a little shy again.

"Uh...hi." I greeted.

"Girl! Just what do you think you are doing?!" she replied.

I was taken back by her comment. "What?"

"Your outfit girl! A hoodie and sweat pants!? Seriously?! A lady should present herself!"

I started to get a little bit annoyed with this girl. We literally just met, and she wants to complain about my outfit? I definitely didn't notice her beauty now.

"Oh my god girl! I'm embarrassed just to talk to you!"

This girl was seriously turning out to be kind of a bitch, but I wasn't in the mood to go to war, there were more important matters. "Yeah...Anyway, do you know anything about what is going on here? I assume you're in the same situation as me, right?"

"If you're talking about fashion, no way in hell girly are we in the same boat, but if you mean about being stuck on this stupid island, all I know is I woke up in one of those huts and found this tablet with a note on it." She raised her tablet up.

"I see, that is what happened to me as well, and I met a boy who said it happened to him too."

"Girl! There is a lot of people on this island! And they're all pretty useless!"

"Huh? How so?"

"They don't know anything either! I don't care about anything on this island! I just wanna go home!"

As the girl continued to whine, she started to annoy me more. If she didn't have any answers either, then she is pretty much calling herself useless. I really wanted to walk away from here, but I did need to use the bathroom.

"I'm sure we'll get to the bottom of this soon enough, and oh yeah, I'm Natalie Bowie, the Ultimate Receptionist. I assume you're an ultimate too?"

"Girl! Girl! You don't know who I am?! How stupid are you?!"

That did it, I was gonna start calling this bitch out for her bitchiness, but she slapped her hand over my mouth before I could even speak.

"No talking for now! You're gonna know who I am if you already don't!"

"Somebody kill me" I thought to myself.

"I'm Sapphire Baldwin, the Ultimate Film Critic!" Sapphire took a bow, as if she was a superstar or something.

I stepped back away from her to get her hand away, still pretty annoyed. "Wow, so you critique films?"

Sapphire nodded. "You know it girl! I am easily the best at what I do, hence my ultimate title. My reviews always outshines any other review, as well as decides just how well a film does at the box office."

"Oh god!" I thought to myself. "I hate the thought of this bitch having any kind of power like that!"

"Trust me girly, I know what makes a good film." Sapphire took another bow.

"I see, that is very cool. But can we get back to our current situation?"

Sapphire then looked quite down. "Way to kill the mood girl! But I suppose you might be right on this, I do need to get off this island and back home. I'll talk to you later girl, we'll work on your outfit another time."

Sapphire quickly scooted past me and started to walk away from the bathrooms. I turned to watch her leave for a bit, before heading into the bathroom.

"Annoying bitch" I muttered out loud."

I quickly set my tablet down on the floor and used the bathroom. I then headed to the sink to wash my hands. As I was wrapping up, I noticed another tablet on the floor that I didn't notice when I walked in, as well as a stall being opened. I turned around to the stalls and saw another girl walk out of one. She was pretty average height with medium size, brown hair. She wore black scrubs with navy blue pants, as well as blue tennis shoes. She also had giant diamond studs in both of her ears. Her face was emotionless. I watched her join me at the sinks for washing her hands, she didn't say anything as she was doing it.

"Hi" I greeted.

The girl quickly washed her hands and turned to me. "Shut your mouth."

I was even more shocked from what Sapphire had said to me, as I watched her dry her hands off by the paper towel dispenser. "Excuse me?!"

The girl tossed her paper towels into the trash can and then headed to grab the tablet I saw on the floor when I entered. "Did you not hear me? Shut your mouth."

I got angry because her words were starting to hurt me. "What is your problem?!"

The girl picked up her tablet and then turned her gaze to me. "You're annoying me, that's my problem."

Unbelievable! This girl was already worse than Sapphire!

I seriously wanted to call her a fucking bitch, but I didn't want to waste energy I would need for exploring this whole island, and hopefully not, but possibly dealing with other bitches who might be here. "Look, I know this whole situation is crazy and nobody knows what is going on, but we should cooperate with each other at least."

The girl actually smiled and gave me a small snicker. "Cooperate with useless shit like you and the other trash that bothered me today? I think I'll take my chances alone."

I was so close to screaming at her, but I kept a civil tongue and tried to reason with her. "I'm the Ultimate Receptionist, Natalie Bowie."

The girl rolled her eyes at me. "Ellen Rowe, Ultimate Cosmetologist."

"This bitch is a cosmetologist!?" I cried to myself. "She actually is around other people and interacts with them?!"

"There you go, now piss off and leave me alone" continued Ellen. She walked out the door, leaving me in the bathroom in shock. Before she was out of eye sight, I noticed she had a tattoo on the back of her neck. It was two pieces of a pink, split heart, that has to have some meaning to her, considering how she acted towards me.

I honestly wanted to cry from how cruel she was to me, but I kept myself calm for a few moments until I regained my composure. I quickly dried my hands off, grabbed my tablet, and left the bathroom. After I got back outside, I saw no sign of Ellen, not that that was a bad thing of course. I looked around the area to see where I should go next. I decided to just walk the path that lead to the bathroom and see where it would take me next. Holding onto my tablet tightly, I started to walk again.

I very quickly ended up by a small forest, there was a decent amount of trees, but it wouldn't be hard to walk through. I saw there was two other people nearby in the forest, a guy and a girl. The guy appeared really happy, while the girl looked annoyed and a bit angry. They both had tablets as well. The guy tried to grab the girl's hand, but the girl quickly punched the guy in the stomach, and as soon as he went to his knees, the girl punched him in the forehead, sending him to the ground on his back.

I gasped at what I had just witnessed, the girl heard me and quickly ran over to me.

"Don't be alarmed!" the girl assured. "That pig was hitting on me for quite a few minutes after we introduced ourselves. Of course I wasn't interested at all, but he wouldn't stop."

I nodded as I checked out this new girl. She was average height with black hair that was in a small bun at the back of her head. She wore a white dress shirt with tan khaki pants, along with a brown belt. She was wearing black work shoes, as well as a small gold scarf that gave her a sort of manager look. She also had a name tag on her shirt that read "Assistant Manger Kirsty."

"I see...Well, it looks like you were able to put an end to his moves" I replied, still in shock of what I had just witnessed.

"Definitely, but honestly I didn't even want to talk to him as I don't even like men."

"You don't like men?"

"I don't go around telling men that, but no, not at all, and not just because I'm a lesbian, I just find them all to be pigs. However, given our current situation, I decided it would be best to put my feelings aside and see if he could be any help, but I was wrong."

"I see" I wasn't fully sure what to say to her words.

"Even in my job, I'm a professional of course, but I hate it whenever I have to talk to any man."

"What is your job? I assume it relates to your ultimate talent."

The girl smiled at me. "You assumed right. You probably got a good idea from looking at my name tag, but I'm Kirsty Fairchild, and I'm the Ultimate Retail Worker."

"Ultimate Retail Worker?"

"You know it, I'm the hardest working person to ever have a job in retail!" Kirsty seemed so proud of her title.

"And you're an assistant manager at wherever you work?"

"Correct you are! Normally, no place would give a manager position to someone who is underage and still in high school, but all my hard work made me an exception!"

"Wow, that is really impressive."

"Thank you, I'm telling you hard work is the key to making it in life. After graduating from Future Hope Academy, I will then be a full time store manager, and then through even more hard work, work my way up to corporate positions."

"Sounds like you got quite the plan."

"I do indeed, and how about you? What's your name?"

"I'm Natalie Bowie, I'm the Ultimate Receptionist."

"Very awesome Natalie! I'm sure you must of worked hard in order to gain your title as well."

"Yeah..." I laughed a bit awkwardly as we all know that wasn't fully true.

"I'm glad she's not being a bitch to me like the last two were" I thought to myself. "But her saying 'hard work" every five seconds is getting a bit annoying."

Kirsty fixed her scarf before turning back to me. "What do you plan to do after graduating from Future Hope Academy?"

I started to reply, but the mention of Future Hope Academy reminded me where we were at the moment. "Sorry, but I think we should talk about that later. Right now, we should really focus on this island."

Still smiling, Kirsty nodded. "You're right Natalie, we need to work hard if we're gonna discover anything about our current situation.

"There it is again!" I yelled to myself.

"Unfortunately, I don't have any answers now, but I'm gonna work hard in order to find out the truth, and I know you will too Natalie!"

I smiled back at Kirsty, though I was still annoyed. "Sounds like a plan Kirsty."

Kirsty waved to me, before walking away down the path I had just came from. I waved back and then turned my attention back to the forest.

"Ow..." muttered a voice.

I turned in the direction of the voice and saw it was the guy that Kirsty took down for hitting on her, I totally forgot he was there for a minute.

"Are you okay?!" I called to the guy as I ran into the forest to check on him.

The boy slowly sat up while rubbing his forehead and stomach. I helped him to his feet when I reached him. The guy was also average height with curly brown hair. He wore a red shirt with a black apron. He also wore black pants with black work shoes. He sported a red cap and a name tag that said "Henry."

"Thanks for the help, that really did hurt."

"I bet, but why did you keep hitting on Kirsty, when she said no multiple times?"

The guy who I'm assuming has the name "Henry" put his hands together and smiled. I swear I saw hearts in his eyes. "I'm just so in love with her! I love her so much, and I just know she feels the same!"

"Yeah, which is why she punched you and left you on the ground."

"Just playing hard to get! I know we're gonna be so happy real soon! I'm just in so much love!"

Henry just stood there with his hands together, both sounding and looking really stupid.

"What a cast of characters so far" I thought to myself.

"What makes you so in love with Kirsty?" I asked.

"We're just perfect for each other! This is destiny!" exclaimed Henry.

"Um...How?"

"Sorry, I guess I should explain it all to you first. First off, I'm Henry Drake, the Ultimate Fast Food Employee!"

"I'm Natalie Bowie, the Ultimate Receptionist."

"Nice to meet you, but anyway, back to my love story! As I was saying, it is just destiny! The best worker in the fast food industry and the best worker in the retail industry?! How can anyone think otherwise?"

"Again dude, she punched you twice and left you on the ground" I thought to myself. "And she hates men, and is also a lesbian."

"Well Kirsty told me she is a lesbian, and pretty much doesn't like men" I replied.

I don't think Henry heard me though, as he was just busy being in love. Since his in love face was starting to scare me, I quickly changed the subject.

"Tell me Henry, how did you become the Ultimate Fast Food Employee?"

Henry appeared to snap out of his love faze and turned his attention to me. "Gladly! During the beginning of my high school career, I got a part time job at a local fast food restaurant to start making some money. And honestly, I just love the job of working in a fast food restaurant! I got as much hours as I could there, and always gave it my all! I got my ultimate title eventually, and one day I'll be managing a fast food restaurant of my own! I hope to even one day own my own!"

"Wow!" I replied "That is impressive Henry, I'm sure you'll succeed in your goals."

"Thanks Natalie!"

"But for now, we should focus on what is going on here. What do you know about this island?"

"Right! I know what someone brought us here, and probably for a reason."

"I think I liked Henry better when he was in pain on the ground" I thought to myself.

Henry continued. "Perhaps this is some sort of test from Future Hope Academy! Maybe we're being scored at the moment!"

"I don't think so Henry, there is no way this is a school test" I replied.

"Well no matter what it is, I do know one thing is for certain."

"What's that?"

Henry put his hands back together. "That Kirsty is gonna be my wife one day!"

I couldn't take it anymore. "Okay Henry, well it was nice meeting and talking with you, but I'm gonna go explore the rest of this island and meet our other classmates."

"Okay Natalie! I'll see you around!"

Henry ran out of the forest, most likely to stalk Kirsty. Shaking my head, I continued on through the small forest. As I assumed from before, the forest wasn't that big. Just a bunch of trees that went on for a bit. I made my way through the forest and continued on with my investigation.

Eventually, I ended up by what appeared to be a giant cruise ship, Literally, there was a freaking giant, cruise ship just on the island. Looking up at the ship was another guy. He was also holding a tablet.

"Hey!" I called to him.

The boy turned around. He was of average height with black glasses. He was wearing a white and tan explorers shirt, with tan cargo pants. He also had on white tennis shoes and a tan explorers hat. I couldn't fully be sure, but I believe he was also bald. He smiled at me as I walked up to him.

"Hey there!" the boy greeted.

"Hi" I returned the greeting. "I'm Natalie Bowie, the Ultimate Receptionist."

"Nice to meet you Natalie, they call me Gavin Trigg, the Ultimate Cryptozoologist."

"I'm sorry, what is your talent?"

"The Ultimate Cryptozoologist, which is pretty much the study of the unknown and reported creatures, such as Bigfoot."

"Oh I see, that must be pretty interesting."

"Indeed it is my dear Natalie, I always been fascinated by all of these supposed creatures, therefore, I devoted all of my spare time into researching and exploring."

"Wow, this guy probably has no life" I thought to myself.

Gavin did appear really passionate about what he does. "It did take awhile for me to prove some real life cryptids exist, but eventually I found my first successes!"

"Wait, you actually proved new creatures' existences?"

Gavin pushed his glasses up to his face as he appeared more happy to talk about his discoveries. "You bet I have! I proven the existence of the Purple Bat, AnteaterMan, Lock Side Dragon, and of course the Little Giant!"

Those all seem totally made up, but I'll definitely have to look them up when I can.

I pretended to be amazed. "Wow! You did all that? That truly is amazing Gavin."

Gavin smiled proudly. "Thank you very much Natalie, I'm happy you appreciate my work."

"Yeah, but do you think you'll be able to use your talent with helping us figure out what is going on here on this island?"

Gavin suddenly got super serious. "You bet I will! I don't have any answers at the moment, but believe me, I'll be the one to get us all home!"

"Good to know Gavin, I know we'll all be counting on you. Anyway, I'm gonna go check out this ship for now."

"Go ahead, I already did and there wasn't anything worthy on it, but you're definitely free to give it a look. I'll see you later Natalie, and don't worry about anything, I got this!"

Gavin walked away from me, I watched him go for a bit before walking onto the ship. I spent a decent amount of time exploring the ship, checking out everything it had to offer. It was pretty cool, exploring an abandoned ship. After I finished exploring, I started to head back to land. As I was walking to the ship steps, another guy appeared. He was a bit more on the short side with dark blond hair. He was wearing a blue polo with black pants, as well as red shoes. He was carrying a tablet, and didn't appear to have any emotion on his face.

"Hi" I greeted cheerfully.

The guy didn't say anything back.

"I'm Natalie Bowie, the Ultimate Receptionist."

"Nice fucking talent, I bet you'll go far in life" responded the boy.

I was so taken back on his response, but having dealt with enough assholes already, I got mad. "What the hell is your problem?!"

"My problem is they give out talents to pretty much anyone, and make up the dumbest titles for them."

I was so close to slapping him. "And what is your talent?!"

The boy shrugged his shoulders. "Simon Thorne, Ultimate Dark Comedian."

"Dark Comedian?"

"Are you stupid, deaf, or both?"

"Why are you such an asshole?"

"Didn't know I was, I'm just telling some jokes."

I was about to seriously slap him, but then it hit me. He must be a comedian that literally insults everyone around him, and somehow a lot of people find it funny. It made more sense to me, but Simon is seriously an asshole."

"Well...Can you not tell jokes for a little while, and tell me anything you know about this situation?"

Simon shook his head. "Nope."

I got angry again. "Then I don't want to talk to you! Go away!"

Simon gave me a rude smile. "Gladly, I'm scared I'll catch your useless talent disease."

With that, Simon walked down the ship stairs, and walked away. I gave him several fingers, and then walked down myself to continue my exploration.

"God!" I complained to myself. "These other ultimates are either annoying or assholes!"

I ended up by what appeared to be a giant basketball court. I'm serious, this outdoor court was as big as a high school gym, but it just had the blacktop, two hoops, and a few racks of balls. I walked under on hoop to check it out, and before I knew it, I was up in the air.

"Hey!" I cried.

Something that felt like a rope got my right foot and pulled me right into the air. I was hanging upside down from the basketball hoop.

"Hey!" I cried again. "Somebody get me down!"

"Yes!" exclaimed an unknown voice. "Perfect success!"

I turned to the direction of the basketball rack, as that is where I heard the voice. A boy popped up from behind the rack, smiling really cheekily. He was on the shorter side with medium length black hair. He was wearing a white, long sleeve shirt with red pants. He had on green shoes, as well as a big brown backpack on his back. He carried a tablet as well.

"Awesome! That was so cool!" he exclaimed.

I was angry again. "Did you do this?!"

"You know it baby!"

"Get me down!"

"Relax yourself, I got you."

The boy ran over to the basketball hoop and grabbed the rope. I then realized that the part of the rope that held my foot was black like the blacktop, while the part that was with the silver pole was silver. The rope blended in with everything, which is why I had no idea it was there. The boy grabbed the rope and slowly got me back on the ground. Once I was, I grabbed the rope off of my shoes and threw it at the boy, who was still smiling cheekily.

"What are you doing?!" I yelled at him.

The boy held is hands up. "Relax will you, it was just a prank."

"A prank?!"

"Yeah a prank."

I didn't even know what to think, this boy was such a little shit."

"Why are you pulling pranks at a time like this?!"

"Pulling pranks is what I do, don't you know that?"

"I don't even know who you are."

"Wow! That sure is a rare thing to hear when you're me! Well I'll tell you all about me. "I'm Rory King, the Ultimate Prankster!"

"Oh God!" I thought to myself.

"Natalie Bowie, Ultimate Receptionist" I returned the greeting.

"Cool, but you seriously never heard of me?" asked Rory.

"No, never in my life."

"Well you're in luck baby! While we're on vacation, you'll see the greatest pranks a prankster can pull, and once I find internet access, I'll show you my best prank videos on my website."

"You have a website?"

"You got it! That is how I became famous, by pulling awesome pranks on people, and then capturing them on video, then posting them on my website. I'm already an internet sensation!"

"I see... Hey! This island isn't a vacation! This situation is serious! You need to take this seriously!"

Rory just put his free hands on his backpack strap and kept smiling at me. "Yeah...being serious and me never mix." Rory then turned away and picked up the rope he used to get me, and put it in his backpack.

"Do you not understand this situation?!"

"I mean, I think we'll be fine. This is just something Future Hope Academy set up for us, perhaps a big prank. But, they can't prank me!"

Rory gave me a short wave and then ran away from me. I watched him run.

"Shithead" I muttered out loud.

"Hey!" another unknown said from behind me.

I turned around and saw a girl running towards the basketball court. She had short, brown hair and appeared to be average height. She only wore a violet wetsuit and black flip flops, as well as a silver whistle around her neck. She was carrying a tablet as well. She was smiling as she ran towards the basketball court, however, once she ran under the other basketball hoop, she met the same fate as me and went up in the air by another one of Rory's rope pranks.

"Woah! Ah!" cried the girl

"Hold on!" I called out.

I ran to the other side of the court and found the rope Rory had set up. It took a few minutes, but I was able to get her down.

"Thanks for the help" thanked the girl. "But what was that all about?"

I sighed. "One of the people on this island is the Ultimate Prankster, and he finds it funny to set these rope traps, he literally got me as well, right before you arrived."

The girl shook her head. "How can he be so immature at a time like this?"

"I have no idea."

"Anyway, I'm Dana Foster, and I'm the Ultimate Lifeguard."

"Nice to meet you Dana, I'm Natalie Bowie, the Ultimate Receptionist."

"Nice to meet you too Natalie, are you doing okay so far? I know this whole island situation is pretty crazy."

"Not gonna lie, been kind of freaking out inside since waking up in my hut, but I think we'll get our answers real soon."

"I hope so as well, but definitely let me know if you aren't okay, it is my job as a lifeguard to look after everyone."

"Doesn't that only apply to people in the water?"

Dana laughed. "Most lifeguards would probably say that, but I'm the Ultimate Lifeguard for a reason, I always try to make sure everyone around me is okay, and I do my best to help them."

"Well that is a great quality to have, I'm sure you always have an eye on everyone in the water."

"Couldn't do my job if I didn't, nobody ever drowns on my watch, or even struggles that much before I get to them."

"That is really amazing to hear, I can see why you earned your ultimate talent."

Dana smiled at me. "Thank you Natalie, but we should get back to exploring the island. But like I said, if you need some help, just come find me, I'll always be around for you."

"Thanks Dana, I'll do that if I need it."

Dana gave me another smile and ran off. I watched her run and then turned my attention back to the basketball court. There wasn't anything here really, so I continued on to solve any questions I had about my current situation.
