After we discussed the motive, we all went our separate ways as usual. Things still weren't completely calm, but it did appear for the most part that everyone was determined not to let Aqua Tail win this round. Even though for me, it was really disturbing, I was determined to not let Aqua Tail win.

"Dane is my target." I thought to myself. "I can escape from this island with one billion dollars if I kill Dane and get away with it. His relationship with Miranda still upsets me, but I would never go that far. I would never let myself fall into that kind of despair. Dane may be my target and things still may be conflicting for me, but I won't cross any line."

Of course, right after I thought that, I saw Dane and Miranda holding hands on the beach, so I quickly turned away in the other direction. I ended up spending a lot more time with my classmates. I went for a swim with Sam and Gavin, followed by a nice, small talk with RK. I saw Harvey bullying Henry, so I knocked the former out, so the latter could get away, but of course, he then started talking about Kirsty. I then hung out with Rory, we set up a rope trap to catch Sapphire, man can that little girl scream and squirm in the air. But afterwards, Kirsty yelled at us for not working hard. We then gathered for lunch, minus Simon and Ellen of course, and for once, Bridget didn't show up, no one knew where she was, not even Irene. Afterwards, Irene and I spent some time looking for her as she was quite worried. We started with knocking on her hut, but we didn't get an answer. We slowly checked over more of the island until we made our way to the hotel.

"I can't believe we can't find her!" Irene was really worried now.

"Calm down, Irene." I replied. "We'll find her."

Irene's eyes went wide. "You don't think...No!"

"No way!"

"No way, Bridget can't be dead somewhere on this island!" I thought to myself.

"Hey girls!"

Irene and I looked up at the hotel to see Bridget running down from the hotel patio towards us, she was carrying a notebook.

"Bridget!" Irene ran up to her and pulled her into a tight hug, which she returned.

Bridget kissed Irene on the cheek. "Hey there."

"We been looking all over for you, Bridget! I was worried!"

"I'm sorry, Irene. I didn't mean to worry you."

"What were you doing, Bridget?" I asked.

Bridget turned to face me after Irene and her broke their hug. "Hey Natalie, let's just say I been working on a surprise for everyone."

"A surprise?"

"What are you planning, Bridget?" Irene asked.

Bridget just smiled and held her notebook close to her. "It wouldn't be very artistic for me to spoil a surprise right after it was mentioned. But I promised, you two, along with everyone else will find out at dinner tonight."

"Dinner is soon."

Bridget looked shocked. "Oh wow, I really have been working on it for a long time. Then I guess, we'll all be finding out what it is soon."

"Bridget." I started with sternly. "I don't like this so far."

Bridget looked hurt. "Dear Natalie, you don't need to worry about anything. It will be a fun surprise."

Irene smiled. "I believe you, Bridget. I know your artistic ideas only mean positive things."

Bridget returned the smile. "Thank you, Irene." She turned to me again. "Trust me, Natalie. You got nothing to worry about. No one else does either. My surprise will help us all forgot about Aqua Tail's motive and let us enjoy some artistic good times. I'll see you ladies later. Bye!" Bridget kissed Irene on the cheek again and walked away from us.

"What do you think she has in mind?" I asked.

Irene shrugged, still smiling. "I'm not sure, but we shouldn't worry. Bridget only means good that is artistic."

I sighed. "Okay then, I'll see you in a bit Irene. I need some fresh beach air." I waved goodbye to Irene and headed for the beach to chillax for a bit.

"Oh wow." I thought to myself. "I'm suspicious of Bridget because she could be planning a murder, is this going to be the new common thing?"

Shaking those thoughts from my mind, I enjoyed some fresh beach air, before getting hungry. I made my way back to the hotel patio for dinner. Slowly, most of my classmates gathered for dinner. We were all there except for Simon, Ellen, and Bridget. I saw that Irene was looking a bit nervous in her seat.

"I'm still not surprised that Simon and Ellen keep being no shows." Rory stated. "But where has Bridget been?"

"Who the hell cares." Sapphire replied. "Her constant artistic saying is annoying."

"I could say the same thing about you, Sapphire." I thought to myself.

"I hope Bridget is alright." Dana continued. "I haven't seen her in awhile."

"Irene, have you seen Bridget?" Kirsty asked.

Before Irene could answer, we all became shocked as Simon joined us on the hotel patio. He walked over to the food table and slapped some food together.

"What?" Simon asked as he noticed we were all staring at him. "Is the peanut gallery fucking stupid or something?"

"We're just...not used to...seeing you join us...for dinner." Miranda answered.

"Or any meal of the day!" Sam added.

Simon snickered. "Don't even try to be funny, none of you shitfaces are funny. I'm not joining you for dinner."

"Then why are you here?" Henry asked.

"I'm hungry, you Spongebob boner. Normally, I would just wait for you fucks to eat, so I don't have to be around you, but I'm just too hungry today."

"Makes sense to me." I sighed.

"You really should join us, Simon." Gavin encouraged. "We-"

"Fuck no." Simon replied.

Before anything else could be said, Bridget ran up onto the hotel patio, leading us all to stare at her.

"Bridget!" Irene exclaimed.

"There you are." Dana added.

"We were wondering where you were at." Dane added.

"Shut up, waterboy!" Harvey yelled as he got from his seat.

Kirsty quickly grabbed him by the neck and brought him back to his seat. "Sit!"

"Tell us, Bridget!" Sam begged.

Bridget smiled as she walked closer to us. "Hey guys! I got the most artistic news!"

"And that is my cue to leave this freak show." Simon replied.

"Stay Simon!" Bridget ordered.

Simon looked annoyed, but shrugged and didn't leave the hotel patio.

"What is this news you have for us?" Rory asked.

"It better not be stupid." Sapphire added.

Bridget continued to smile. "We're gonna have a scavenger hunt!"

"Who with the what now?" Harvey replied.

"What stupid thing?" Sapphire asked.

"A scavenger hunt!" Bridget repeated.

"A scavenger hunt?" I repeated.

"This is your surprise?" Irene asked.

Bridget nodded. "I spent today preparing it."

"Not to be rude Bridget, but why would we have a scavenger hunt?" Dane asked.

"After all this time, everyone is still so tense and anxious, which totally isn't artistic. And if you add everything that just happened, including Aqua Tail's motive, it really has only gotten less artistic, so I thought a scavenger hunt would be super fun, bring us closer, and help with all the stress we been suffering!"

"That sounds amazing!" Sam cheered.

"Part of my talent is searching for stuff that is hidden" Gavin added. "I'll win this for sure!"

"A scavenger hunt...would be fun." Miranda smiled.

"I guess we could use a little fun around here." Dane agreed.

"Well that sounds very, very, very stupid!" Sapphire whined.

"You only say that because you know you wouldn't find shit." Rory laughed.

"Why you!" Sapphire was fuming. "I'll show you! I'm in!"

"We still need to keep working hard." Kirsty added. "But team bonding is always a good thing, so I'll join as long as we get back to working hard right afterwards."

"If my darling Kirsty is in, then I'm definitely in!" Henry replied with heart eyes.

"My fist will be in your stomach!" Harvey stood up and tried to punch Henry, but Sam threw a glass at his head, knocking Harvey back into his chair.

Dana got up to go check on Harvey. "I certainly will have to participate, who knows how many injuries there will be during this activity."

"RK, are you in?" Rory asked.

RK didn't reply for a moment. "Sure, I guess so."

"What about you Natalie?" Dane asked.

"Huh? Oh! Of course I am." I replied a bit flustered.

"I'm gonna win!" Harvey stated after Dana finished checking on him."

"Looks like we'll all be participating." Irene smiled.

"Yay!" Bridget cheered.

"What about Simon and Ellen?" Henry asked.

Everyone turned to look at Simon, who surprisingly was still there.

Simon cracked a small smile. "You know what, this thing sounds fucking stupid enough, that it might actually be good for laughs. I'm sure I'll stop by for a bit."

"While it isn't artistic to call my scavenger hunt, stupid of any kind." Bridget started with. "I'm glad you'll play, Simon!"

"What fucking ever."

"What about...Ellen?" Miranda asked.

"I...don't think we should ask her." Gavin replied.

"Hell yeah to that." Rory replied.

"If I see Ellen before we start tomorrow, I'll be sure to ask her." Bridget replied.

"Wait, we're having the scavenger hunt tomorrow?" I asked.

Bridget nodded.

"What time tomorrow?" Dana asked.

"I was planning for in the early afternoon, so probably a little bit after lunch."

Dana smiled. "That is perfect as I had a little surprise of my own for tomorrow."

"What did you have in mind, Dana?" Dane asked.

Dana stood up from her seat. "Well I have to give credit to Irene as it was her idea, but I'm gonna teach a first aid class tomorrow evening."

Irene blushed. "Oh please, Dana, don't give me any special credit."

"No, I insist. You were the one that helped me see what I should do for everyone."

Irene continued to blush.

"You'll be showing all of us first aid?" Kirsty asked.

Dana nodded. "Yes I will, I think it is important that everyone knows how to treat injuries, giving our situation at the moment."

"That is awesome!" Gavin exclaimed. "We'll have some fun and learn how to help each other!"

"You'll need some first aid after I knock your freaking face off!" Harvey replied.

Sam quickly raised a plate. "Try it!"

Harvey quickly settled down.

"How artistic!" Bridget cheered. "Tomorrow will be simply artistic!"

"Yeah, tomorrow should be great." Dane agreed.

"I think so too." Miranda agreed.

"I won't lose to you losers in the scavenger hunt or this class!" Sapphire stated.

"Well I'm glad to see we're all onboard with this." Irene smiled.

"What fucking ever." Simon replied. "This shit better not be a waste of time."

"Dana, when did you plan to teach us first aid?" I asked.

"I was thinking in the early evening, so we can probably start a bit after we finish Bridget's scavenger hunt."

"Then looks like everything is set!" Henry cheered.

"Yeah!" Gavin agreed. "This will be awesome!"

We talked about tomorrow a bit more as we continued dinner, afterwards we all split to do our own thing. I was starting to get tired, so I decided to head back to bed soon. As I made my way to my hut, I noticed Dane and Miranda ahead of me. They were wrapped up in a big hug, sharing a big passionate kiss with each other.

"No!" I cried to myself. "I don't need to see this!"

Making sure they wouldn't hear or see me, I quickly made my way around them and into my hut. I made it to my bed before I started crying my eyes out. I know it was ridiculous and I should be over it, but I was still really hurt and upset about Dane being with Miranda. I still really like Dane. I cried myself to sleep.

I woke up early the next morning, most likely due to the fact I went to bed early. Wiping away the remaining tears from my eyes, I got up and decided to not let the thoughts of Dane with Miranda ruin what was suppose to be a fun day. I quickly changed into a new set of clothes and made my way down to the bathrooms for a shower. After wrapping up their, I made my way to the hotel patio for breakfast. It was still very early, so I didn't expect to see anyone there, but I was wrong. Dana was there on the hotel patio, pacing back and forth while holding a small beach bag.

"Hey Dana." I greeted as I joined her on the hotel patio.

Startled, Dana jumped up a bit in the air, before realizing it was just me. "Good morning, Natalie. Sorry for being so jumpy."

"No you're fine, sorry for starting you."

Dana nodded. "It is okay, honestly I'm just a bit nervous for teaching first aid to everyone. I know a lifeguard should have constant control of their nerves, but if I'm being honest again, our situation has been stressing me out, so I'm just not quite myself at the moment."

"Totally understandable, Dana. We all been a bit of wreck for awhile now, so it shouldn't be a surprise for anyone to not have total nerve control at the moment. You honestly been holding up better than pretty much everyone on this island."

Dana smiled at me. "Thank you, Natalie."

"What's in the bag."

"Just some supplies for the class tonight, I probably didn't need to bring it to breakfast with me."

I laughed, then Dana and I continued to talk until the others started to arrive for breakfast. Well I say talk and pace for Dana as she still seemed a bit nervous. I gathered some food and sat down as Bridget and Irene arrived for breakfast.

"Hello ladies!" Bridget greeted. "I hope you're for a very artistic day!"

"Hey Bridget, Irene, I sure am!" I replied. "Aren't you, Dana?"

Dana nodded as she continued to walk back and forth on the hotel patio.

"Are you alright there, Dana?" Irene asked.

"She's just a bit stressed out with having to teach a class tonight while dealing with a bunch of stress for this whole killing game."

"Indeed." Dana agreed. "But I'm getting out all of my nervous energy now, I will be ready for tonight."

"Excellent." Smiled Irene.

"How artistic!" Bridget cheered.

Henry and Harvey arrived next, well Henry was being chased by Harvey.

"I'm gonna kick your ass!" Harvey shouted as they both ran up onto the hotel patio.

Henry ran behind Irene, who stood glaring angrily at Harvey. Harvey squealed and backed away.

"Please Harvey." Bridget began. "You're making this morning totally not artistic."

"But I just wanna kick his ass!" Harvey complained.

"Harvey!" Irene growled.

Harvey ran to get food and then went to the table to sit down. Bridget, Irene, and Henry then joined us with their own plates.

"Thank you, Irene." Henry thanked.

"Not a problem at all." Irene replied.

Sam and Gavin arrived next, both looking cheerful and full of energy.

"Let's get this day started!" Sam cheered.

"Yeah!" Gavin agreed.

I laughed. "You two seem quite excited for today."

"We are!" Sam replied as Gavin and herself got food and sat down to eat.

Rory and RK arrived shortly afterwards, followed by Simon.

"Simon, will you be eating with us normally from now on?" I asked.

"Fuck no, I'm only here because I'm hungry again." He replied, annoyedly.

"Will you still be there for the scavenger hunt and first aid class?" Bridget asked.

"Yeah I fucking will, now fuck off." Simon grabbed some food and left the hotel patio.

"Looks like Simon still has a stick up his ass." Rory stated.

"He's coming around to us, I know he is." Gavin replied.

"Not likely." RK commented on.

Sapphire arrived next, being her usual annoying self. I wasn't in the mood to deal with her, so I tuned her out. Kirsty arrived a bit later, with Dane and Miranda right behind her. I didn't want to see the latter two, so I looked away. Dana appeared to finally calm down and went to gather some food with Kirsty before they both sat next to each other at the table. Dane and Miranda were the last two to arrive and sit down.

"I'm ready for today." Dane said.

"I'm ready to kill you!" Harvey shouted.

Irene punched Harvey in the arm. "Harvey!"

"Ow!"

"Let's hope today can actually bring the group together just a little bit." RK stated.

"Oh don't worry, I know it will!" Bridget replied. "It will be simply artistic."

"I'll beat all of you at the scavenger hunt!" Sapphire exclaimed.

"Oh no you won't!" Sam replied.

"Yeah!" Gavin agreed. "Sam and I will beat you!"

"Actually, that won't be possible." Bridget replied.

"Why not?" Sam asked.

"There will be no teams for this scavenger hunt. It is every ultimate for themselves."

"Awwww." Miranda replied sadly.

"Fine with me, I can win this all by myself!" Harvey boasted while flexing.

Dana suddenly jumped up from her seat. "SHARK!" She grabbed her whistle and blew it very loudly, while pointing to the ocean.

"Huh?!" Irene replied, shocked.

Everyone else either jumped up or turned to the direction that Dana was pointed. I turned my entire focus to the ocean to see if there was a shark. Aqua Tail jumped out of the water.

"Hey kids!" Aqua Tail greeted before disappearing back under the water.

"It was just Aqua Tail." Dane confirmed.

"Dana, what the hell was that all about?!" Sapphire demanded.

Dana lowered her head in embarrassment. "I'm sorry everyone, I thought that was a shark and my lifeguard instincts kicked in."

"But we're not even in the water." Rory replied.

"Knock it off, Rory." I added. "Dana has just been a bit stressed out recently, like we all have, especially with her duty for tonight. Cut her some slack."

"I'd mistake Aqua Tail for a shark too." Irene added.

Dana smiled.

"Let's just get back to breakfast and on with this very artistic day." Bridget suggested.

We all sat down and wrapped up breakfast. People got up and started to leave the hotel patio.

"Wait everyone!" Bridget called out.

Everyone froze.

"The scavenger hunt will begin at two in the afternoon."

"Yeah, I totally thought it would be two in the fucking morning." Simon replied.

"Simon!" Irene hissed.

"Whatever, none of you will beat me!" Sapphire pumped up.

I sighed as I joined everyone in heading down the stairs.

"Aaaaahhhh!" Out of nowhere, Rory fell down the stairs and landed on his side.

"Rory!" Dana cried and jumped right to him to check on him.

Harvey burst out laughing and nearly fell down the stairs as well. "Take that, prank geek!"

"Harvey pushed Rory!" Sam cried.

Irene glared daggers at Harvey as she started laughing towards a still laughing his ass off Harvey.

"Hahahahah-OW!" Harvey cried out in pain as Kirsty slapped him in the back of the head, right before Irene was about to.

"This is the exact opposite of hard work!" Kirsty shouted.

"Ow! What did I do?"

"You pushed Rory down the stairs!" Gavin replied.

"No I didn't!"

"You did too! And my darling Kirsty put you in your place." Henry added with heart eyes.

"You're next if you don't stop calling me that!" Kirsty yelled.

"Can we please not fight on what is suppose to be a very artistic day?" Bridget asked.

"Bridget's right, let's just all get some space before the scavenger hunt." Dane suggested.

"Are you okay, Rory?" Irene asked.

Rory was trying not to look so in pain. "Yeah...I'll be fine."

"You will be fine, Rory." Dana added. "Your leg might just be sore for a while if you try to walk."

"I'll be fine, I know it!"

"Whatever! Dana can take care of the prank monkey!" Sapphire stated. "I'm gonna win the scavenger hunt!

After that, everyone pretty much went off and did their own thing for now. Before she left with Gavin, Sam ran up to Harvey and punched him in the gut.

"Ow!" Harvey cried. "What was that for?!"

"You know what!" Sam replied.

Dana got up from Rory and ran to help Harvey. "My work will never be done."

I sighed at the scene and headed back to my hut to rest up. My time there pretty much flew by as it was soon time fo lunch. As I started walking to the path, I saw Kirsty heading into her hut.

"Hey Kirsty." I called to her.

Kirsty slowly turned around, looking extremely tired. "Hi...Natalie..." Kirsty let out a big yawn.

"Wow, you seem really tired."

Kirsty nodded. "I don't...know why...I just...got tired...I'm gonna...rest up..."

"Will you make it to Bridget's scavenger hunt?"

Kirsty nodded. "I should...I'm just...tired..." Kirsty yawned again and headed into her hut.

"Damn." I thought to myself. "She sure is tired."

I continued heading back to the hotel patio for lunch. Not long after I got there, everyone minus Ellen, Henry, Rory, and Kirsty had arrived.

"Is this...everyone?" Miranda asked.

"No." Answered RK. "We're still missing a few people."

"I'm not surprised that Ellen isn't here." Gavin added.

"But where are Rory, Henry, and Kirsty?" Irene asked.

"Perhaps the Spongebob licker is off raping Corporate Cunt." Simon laughed.

"That is not artistic!" Bridget shouted.

"Not funny!" Sam roared.

Simon just snickered.

"Forget Simon." Dane cut in. "Where could the other three be?"

"Maybe Rory is still hurt from his fall?" Miranda asked, while smiling at Dane.

"His fall wasn't that bad at all." Dana answered. "His leg just might be a bit sore, but he definitely is okay to participate in the scavenger hunt."

"And I saw Kirsty before I came here." I added. "She was really tired, so she is probably still sleeping."

"Then she might miss the scavenger hunt." Bridget looked down sadly.

Irene rubbed her shoulder. "It is okay, Bridget, there is still a lot of people here."

"What about Henry?" Sapphire asked.

"Who cares about that fry cook?" Harvey answered.

"You should, considering it is most likely your fault that Rory has to miss the game." Sam answered.

"What'd I do?!"

"Just shut up!" Sapphire yelled.

"Should we look for them?" Dana asked.

"I'm sure they're alright and have good enough reasons for being absent." Irene replied.

"They may still show up to the scavenger hunt." I added.

"That would be most artistic." Bridget cheered.

We wrapped up lunch and split for a bit more, before meeting up at the hotel patio again for the scavenger hunt. The four people who weren't at lunch still were absent again."

"I guess..this is it." Miranda stated.

"I guess so." Dane replied.

"Shut up, you geek!" Harvey roared as he got ready to punch Dane.

Bridget quickly grabbed Harvey's arm and twisted it behind his back. "You will not ruin this artistic moment!"

"Mommy!"

Bridget released Harvey as Dana ran to check on the latter.

"How does this thing work?" RK asked.

"With me winning!" Sapphire cheered.

Bridget grabbed some pieces of paper and passed one around to each person.

"What is this?" Gavin asked, while looking at his paper.

Bridget smiled. "Maps with all the locations for this scavenger hunt."

"Where did you make these?" Sam asked.

"Aqua Tail let me borrow a laptop that had a design program."

"Okay then." I replied.

"Yeah! I got this!" Sapphire cheered.

I looked over the map, it appeared to cover the whole island, minus the hut area.

"Everyone ready?" Bridget asked. "And remember, no pairing up, everyone rides solo!"

Miranda looked at Dane with sadness in her eyes, I noticed it and played with my hair to control my jealousy.

"Go!" Bridget yelled and started to run off.

"Wait, isn't it unfair for Bridget to participate in this?" I asked. "Since she hid all of the items?"

Nobody heard me as everyone either ran or started walking off after Bridget, I sighed and followed them.

"Fuck me." I thought to myself.

The scavenger hunt was pretty boring for me honestly, mainly due to the fact my effort for it had never been high. I didn't managed to find a single item. I think everyone else enjoyed it more than I did. By the time we wrapped up the scavenger hunt, which Bridget had won, shocker, it was time for Dana to teach us first aid. We all gathered at the beach, minus Ellen, Rory, Kirsty, Henry, and Simon."

"Those four people are still missing." Dane stated.

"Ellen, Rory, Kirsty, and Henry." Gavin added.

"It still isn't a surprise that Ellen is missing." Irene replied.

"But where are Rory, Kirsty, and Henry?" Sam asked.

"Who cares! I should of won!" Sapphire whined.

"No, I should of!" Harvey added.

"Kill me now." I thought to myself.

"Looks like Simon is gone too." RK said.

"I guess my scavenger hunt was just too artistic for him." Bridget smiled. "He called it an early night."

"Yeah, I don't think that is the reason." I replied.

"I may have to agree with Natalie, Bridget." Irene agreed.

"Time for this first aid class?" Sam asked.

Dana nodded as she stepped forward to address all of us. "Let us begin."

Dana started her lecture and demonstrations of first aid. I was paying attention at first, but I quickly realized Dane and Miranda were holding hands. I tried to ignore it, but I couldn't take it anymore, even with playing with my hair. After about a half hour or so, I decided to leave and left the group without saying anything, I don't think anyone noticed me leaving. I made my way back to my hut.

"I can't take this anymore!" I cried to myself. "I still care about Dane! But he's with Miranda!"

As I reached the huts, my feelings quickly turned to horror as I saw something outside one of the huts. Hanging upside down in the air, was the dead body of Kirsty Fairchild, the Ultimate Retail Worker. Her lifeless, motionless body was in the air and I didn't know how, but I did know this. Someone had committed murder again.

I let out a loud scream.
