Not wanting to say the name of the person who was looking like the killer, I started to play with my ponytail, but stopped after a second, I knew this had to be done. "Rory, you're the only one left."
"No way!" Rory replied. "You guys seriously can't think it was me!"
"I'm sorry Rory, but it is just like Sapphire said."
"Everyone else has an alibi." RK added.
"The rope trap Kirsty was found in." Irene added.
"And the can of spray paint!" Henry yelled.
"Gotcha!" Harvey yelled, while pumping his fists in the air."
Rory started to look really freaked out. "You guys have to believe me, I didn't kill Kirsty!"
"That is exactly what someone who did kill Kirsty would say!" Sapphire responded.
Sam looked down at the ground. "I think we're ready to vote."
"It does appear settled." Gavin agreed.
"Okay..." Miranda replied, nervously.
"No, wait!" Rory shouted. "We still have more to talk about!"
"Like what?!" Sapphire demanded.
"...The can of spray paint!"
"What about the can of spray paint?" Dane asked.
"...We can't say for sure that can of spray paint is mine...what if...the killer just took a can from the supermarket!?"
"You really are getting desperate, Rory." Ellen replied.
"You can fucking say that again." Simon snickered.
"But I'm right!" Rory cried. "We have no way of knowing who the can of spray paint belongs to!"
I sighed, I didn't want to do this, but I had to. "We do Rory, and the owner is you."
"What?!"
"Natalie, do you have evidence that proves Rory is the owner of the can of spray paint that was used to knock out Ellen?" Dana asked.
I nodded my head. "I do, the color of spray paint proves it."
"The color?" Dane asked.
"I see!" Bridget gasped. "The color of the spray paint was the same color as the background of the place where Kirsty was killed!"
"That was also the color of the rope." Irene added. "We can say for sure the killer spray painted the rope."
"Not at all artistic!"
"That is what you do for your rope traps, Rory." Gavin confirmed.
"You lose!" Harvey cheered.
"No, come on!" Rory begged.
"Anymore pathetic defenses?" Ellen asked.
"How about you tell us where you were during the scavenger hunt and first aid class" Dana suggested.
"Besides killing my darling Kristy." Henry growled.
"Back off, man! I didn't kill her!" Rory yelled, angrily.
"Stop wasting time you piss poor excuse for a joker." Simon ordered. "Where the fuck were you?"
"This may be your chance to prove your innocence." Sam added.
"Doubt it!" Sapphire yelled.
Rory gulped. "I was resting up in my hut the entire time, I didn't go anywhere else until Natalie's screaming brought me to Kirsty's body."
"Is that all you got?!" Harvey asked.
"That isn't an alibi at all." Ellen stated.
"I know!" Rory replied. "But...I was resting up the entire time, my leg was and is still a bit sore from when Harvey pushed me down the stairs."
"I did not!" Harvey replied.
"Who the fuck cares." Simon cut in.
"If I recall, Dana said you would be fine." Dane added. "I don't see a why that would make you miss the scavenger hunt or first aid class."
"It doesn't appear that was the case." Bridget stated.
"I'm telling you, my leg was freaking sore!" Rory replied.
"I'm sorry, Rory." Irene apologized. "That isn't good enough for us."
"Rory could of just faked being hurt." Miranda added.
"We already know that, stop repeating what we know." Ellen replied.
"...Sorry..." Miranda looked at the ground sadly.
"Hey! Leave Miranda alone!" Dane shouted.
"I'll kick your ass, watergirl!" Harvey shouted as he bashes his fists together.
"You move one muscle, and I'm gonna do a backflip and land on you." Sam warned, quite angrily.
"Sam, please calm down." Gavin pleaded.
"Hahaha!" Aqua Tail laughed.
"Enough!" Irene shouted. "We need to focus on the trial again!"
"And where the fuck were we?" Simon snickered.
"Getting ready to vote for Rory." RK replied.
"Noooooo! Rory shouted.
"Honestly, even though Rory seems like the obvious choice, something is starting to come off as strange to me." I thought to myself. "Yes, Rory appears to be the killer, but is he? I think there is much more to this case then we realize, and we can't end it now with the vote."
Nonstop Debate.
"I'm telling you guys!" Rory cried. "It wasn't me!"
"Enough with your lies!" Henry roared.
"Why did you think it would work?" Sapphire asked. "The rope trap is obvious!"
"That rope and can of spray paint definitely belong to you." Dana added.
"No one else could had rope or spray paint, duh!" Sam added.
"Everybody literally has an alibi!" Gavin added. "Except you!"
"Something is still strange to me." I thought to myself. "Is there not any evidence that someone else could of used the rope and spray paint? I should know this...Wait! Sam is wrong!"
"Hold up, guys!" I yelled.
"Natalie?" Dane asked.
"Girl, what now?!" Sapphire demanded.
"There might just be a chance that someone else besides Rory used the rope and spray paint." I replied.
"Impossible!" Henry roared.
"We can decide that soon, but right now, Rory... tell me what you told me during the investigation."
"What did I tell you during the investigation?" Rory asked.
"...You told me that rope and a can of spray paint were missing from your backpack."
"What? Oh shit!" The realization hit Rory in the face. "That is so freaking right! How could I forget?!"
"Probably because you're a fucking idiot." Simon snickered.
"Wait, so Rory's stuff went missing?" Bridget asked.
I nodded my head. "That is what he told me during the investigation, so if that is the case, then someone took it and is obviously trying to frame Rory."
"If that is the case, though." Sam replied.
"Yeah!" Agreed Harvey." "Sure, this prank punk can say his crap was stolen, but that is just it! He could be lying!"
"Rory, can you prove your rope and spray paint was stolen?" RK asked.
"Uuuuhhh..." Rory was starting to freak out again.
"No, you can't." Ellen answered.
"I"m sorry, Rory." Irene apologized. "But you don't even have an alibi, so when would someone have stolen your items from your backpack I assume."
"And even if someone could and did, who else knows how to set up those rope traps?" Miranda asked.
Rory started to freak out a bit more.
"Hold up a second." I cut in. "If Rory truly is the killer, don't you think he would of announced it to everyone that his stuff was stolen when we first discovered Kirsty's body?"
"I'm not buying it, Natalie." Bridget replied. "It could all just be his very unartistic plan."
"Unfortunately, Rory simply saying his rope and spray paint went missing isn't good enough for me." Dane added.
"You killed my darling Kirsty!" Henry roared with extreme hatred in his eyes.
"No! Stop!" Rory protested.
"No, let's go!" Sapphire replied. "I'm ready to vote!"
"So...Rory truly is the killer?" Miranda asked, still a bit unsure herself.
Sam nodded. "We don' have any other suspects!" Sam then did a backflip.
Simon snickered at Rory. "That basement dweller that jerked off to plushies had a better murder plan than you."
"Aqua Tail, start the vote." Ellen ordered.
"Are you sure?" Aqua Tail asked.
"No!" I cried to myself. "This can't end now! I'm still not convinced that Rory is definitely the killer!"
"Wait!" I shouted out loud. "No we're not!"
"Oh my fucking GOD!" Simon shouted.
"What the hell are you doing?!" Henry demanded. "We need to bring Rory to justice!"
"No part of this damn situation involves justice!" I thought to myself.
"Please, hold on guys." I begged. "I'm not saying Rory isn't the killer, I just don't think we can say for sure he is."
"How so?' Gavin asked. "What more do we need to talk about?"
"Well...I know!"
"Speak then." Ellen demanded.
"Gladly! We haven't even mentioned the murder weapon yet!"
"Oh shit!" Harvey cried.
"Wow, we really missed that!" Sam added.
"We know Kirsty was caught in a rope trap." Dane stated. "But what was the weapon that caused that wound on her neck?"
"Why don't you tell them, RK."
Realization hit RK. "Oh man, I can't believe I didn't bring this up. But during the investigation, I discovered a knife."
"A knife?" Bridget asked.
RK nodded. "Natalie saw it as well."
"I can back RK up." I replied.
"Where was this knife discovered at?" Irene asked.
"The left area next to the huts." RK answered.
"And the killer just left it there?" Dana asked. "Why not hide the murder weapon? Especially in their hut, which they were pretty much right next to."
"Good questions for sure." I replied. "Perhaps we'll have answers later."
"So what if all of this happened?!" Henry demanded. "My darling Kirsty was caught in a rope trap set up by Rory! He slashes her with a knife! I bet that was the same time that Ellen was in the area, so in panic, he pitches the knife and knocks her out with his can of spray paint!"
"Even though everything about that was unartistic, I do have to agree with Henry." Bridget replied.
"Yeah!" Sapphire agreed. "This doesn't change shit!"
"Hang on!" I begged.
"NO!" Henry roared. "We're ending this now!"
"I just don't see how anyone but Rory could be the killer." Dana added.
"Damn it, listen to Natalie!" Rory begged.
"You're done for, prank punk!" Harvey yelled.
"Come on guys!" Gavin exclaimed. "We need to work together here."
"We already did, Gavin." Sam replied. "And we have our killer!"
"No, this isn't over!" I cried to myself.
Nonstop Debate
"Right now, Rory is the only person we have for a killer." Dane said.
"We just don't have any other suspects." Miranda added.
"I keep freaking tell you people, I didn't kill Kirsty!" Rory yelled.
"Then counter the fucking rope trap, prank bitch." Simon snickered.
"You can't!" Sapphire added.
"You set up one of your rope traps, outside of Kirsty's hut." Bridget stated. "And then slashed her throat with that knife!"
"Case closed!" Sam yelled.
"No, this case isn't closed!" I thought to myself. "I just need to know the piece of evidence that can counter one of those statements, so we can keep this discussion going! Yes, Kirsty was caught in a rope trap, but did Rory slash her throat with the knife? …..NO! Bridget couldn't be more wrong!"
"Everyone, stop it!" I shouted.
"Don't beat me!" Harvey cried, a bit alarmed.
"Why do you keep wasting my time?!" Henry demanded
"Shut up, Henry!" I shouted. "Rory didn't slash Kirsty's throat with the knife!"
"What? Really?" Miranda asked.
"Just listen to me, Rory didn't use the knife to kill Kirsty, in fact, nobody did!"
"Girl, you gone crazy!" Sapphire yelled.
"I'm sorry, Natalie." Irene apologized. "But what you're saying just doesn't make sense."
"Yeah!" Sam agreed. "Somebody had to use that knife on Kirsty!"
"Natalie, are you feeling okay?" Dana asked, quite concerned.
"Hell yeah I am." I replied. "The knife was used to kill Kirsty, it was just never in anyone's hands as the killing was happening."
"What?!" Gavin exclaimed
"What the fuck are you talking about?" Simon demanded.
"Huh?" Rory asked.
I frowned. "Rory, you should be the only person not questioning me, right now."
"Right, sorry!"
"I'm not following you, Natalie." Dana replied.
"I don't think anyone is." Dane added.
"Then listen up!" I got ready to hit them with the truth. "Think back to the rope trap, besides the fact that it was spray painted, did anyone notice something odd about it?"
"No." Harvey replied.
"Wait, I think I know what she means!" Sam exclaimed. "There was a second rope tied to the rope that caused Kirsty's demise!"
"WHAT?!" Henry shouted.
"Can you stop shouting already?!" Sapphire demanded.
"You're one to talk!" I cried to myself.
"Yes, Sam is right." I continued. "There were two ropes involved in this rope trap, and we all know Rory only uses one for his pranks."
"You know it!" Rory agreed.
"A second rope? Why?" Dane asked.
"The killer added their own, sick twist to this rope trap." I continued. "They had two rope, with the first one being the one that would take Kirsty upside down when she stepped into it, as for the second one, it was tied to the first one with the knife tied to it at an end, and placed so that when the first one went off, it would send the knife flying at Kirsty, giving her a direct slash on the throat."
"Holy shit!" Rory exclaimed.
"If that is true, definitely not artistic." Bridget frowned.
"But we don't know if that is true!" Sapphire yelled.
"Do we?" I asked. "I think so, since I have more."
"Please share." Irene requested.
"Gladly, if what I'm saying is true, then it would explain why the knife was where RK found it, as opposed to the killer hiding it in their hut."
"I see." RK replied.
"Gavin can confirm this one, there was also a trail of blood from Kirsty's body to the knife, obviously blood that fell from the latter as it had just slashed Kirsty's throat."
"No way!" Gavin exclaimed. "That is what actually happened?!"
"It would make sense, if we go back to the motive."
"What about the motive?" Miranda asked.
"Rory's target was Bridget, which we confirmed, but the victim is Kirsty. I can't think of any reason on why Rory would kill Kirsty if she wasn't his target, if the motive was his motive, then he would of tried to kill Bridget."
"Not artistic." Bridget shook in discomfort.
"What you're saying makes sense, I guess you office bitch." Simon replied. "But everyone else has a fucking alibi besides this rope licker."
"Counter that!" Sapphire challenged.
"Oh I can." I shot her an evil smile. "A main reason why everyone is so convinced that Rory is the killer is because we know the time of death, and everyone except Rory has an alibi for that time."
"Hell yeah!" Harvey flexed his fists in the air.
Ignoring Harvey, I continued. "This would usually be the end, but just because Kirsty died at 6:00PM, it doesn't mean the killer had to be anywhere near her hut at 6:00PM."
"WHAT?!" Henry roared.
"Natalie...please..." Dana pleaded. "Just what are you saying now?"
"Unbelievable." Ellen stated, actually looking a bit surprised.
"I think Ellen figured it out." I laughed to myself.
"Ellen, do you know what Natalie means?" Dane asked.
"I do." Ellen replied.
"I got this." I cut in. "The killer set up the rope trap before 6:00PM. Right now, we don't know for sure the exact time, but pretty much it could have been any number of small hours before 6:00PM."
"Shit!" Rory exclaimed.
"I never...thought..." Miranda tried to say something.
"I see now." Irene commented. "We all assumed the killer had to be there when Kirsty died..."
"Which is why...Rory was the prime suspect due to a lack of an alibi." Dane added.
"I told you!" Rory yelled.
"No you didn't!" Sapphire shouted. "I still think it was you!"
"Leave him alone, Sapphire!" Gavin yelled. "Natalie just opened our eyes to the truth!"
"She really did!" Sam added. "Anyone could of set up the rope at anytime today if they were alone!"
"...Oh come on!" Sapphire whined.
"However, this doesn't mean that Rory is innocent." Ellen commented on.
"He isn't suspicious." RK added. "But that means, everyone is back to being a suspect."
"No! I didn't do it!" Harvey cried.
"Stop crying Harvey." I replied. "Nobody is accusing you."
"We could all be the killer at the moment." Irene added.
"Fucking dumb." Simon complained.
"Now what though?!" Sapphire demanded.
"We keep discussing." Dana answered.
"Somebody still killed my darling Kirsty." Henry coldly stated. "And I will find out who."
"This won't be as artistic, now that we have fifteen possible killers." Bridget stated, quite sadly.
"Not fifteen." Ellen replied.
"Huh?"
"We can still confirm that someone, most likely the killer did indeed knock out Ellen." I answered.
"It definitely was the killer, since they used the can of spray paint used on the ropes." Ellen replied.
"Of course, so Ellen definitely isn't the killer."
"Well that is one person we can cross off." Gavin stated. "But we still got fourteen more people."
"Not quite, we can eliminate two more people." Dane replied.
"Who would those two people be?" RK asked.
I remembered. "Dane and Miranda, we can cross them off too."
"Why?" Harvey asked.
"During the investigation, Miranda told me they were together the whole day since breakfast, and that should have been the last time most people saw her alive."
"She's right." Miranda smiled.
"Miranda and I are each other's alibi." Dane smiled as well.
"Hold on!" Bridget replied, a bit angry.
"What is it?"
"You two were together the whole time?! You two were together during the scavenger hunt?!"
"...Yeah..." Miranda replied, quite uncomfortably.
"Everyone was suppose to search by themselves!"
"Bridget, sweetheart!" Irene cut. "Now isn't the time, please!"
"Yeah, more important shit to do than that gay ass game." Simon snickered.
Bridget was getting ready to snap again, but settled down. "Not artistic at all."
"If Dane and Miranda were together for a long time, including when Kirsty was still alive." Dana stated. "Then neither of could of killed her."
"Looks like we know for sure that Ellen, Dane, and Miranda can't be the killer." Gavin added. "Good progress!"
"You call three out of fifteen people, good progress!?" Sapphire whined.
"I'm sure we can eliminate more people as suspects once we start discussing again." I replied.
"Then we should find out who was the last person to see Kirsty alive." Rory responded.
"Yes." I agreed in mind. "Finding out who was the last person to see Kirsty alive will definitely help."
Nonstop Debate
"Finding out who saw Kirsty last is crucial." RK stated.
"When was the last time most of us saw her?" Harvey wondered.
"That would be at breakfast this morning." Irene answered.
"Nothing suspicious there!" Sam added.
"Same thing once we all finished breakfast." Bridget stated.
"Nothing strange there!" Gavin exclaimed.
"If nobody saw Kirsty after breakfast." Dana started with. "Then we don't have anything, unfortunately."
"No way." I thought to myself. "Dana is making a mistake, I know for sure were to go to next, and saying we don't have anything definitely isn't the answer!"
"Wait!" I shouted. "Somebody did see Kirsty after breakfast!"
"Really?!" Dane asked.
"Who did?" Irene asked, quite excitingly.
"I did." I answered. "Right before lunchtime, I was in my hut, when I left for lunch, I saw Kirsty heading into her hut."
"Did you talk to her?" RK asked.
I nodded. "Yes I did."
"What did she say?!" Henry demanded.
I was still pretty sick of Henry's new attitude. "She was tired, that is both what she looked like and what she said. That is why she wasn't at lunch."
"As well as why she didn't attend either scavenger hunt or first aide class." Bridget added.
"Hold up here!" Harvey exclaimed. "How do we know if Natalie is even telling the truth?! If she is the killer, she could easily be lying!"
"Damn it, Harvey!" I cried to myself.
"I'm not the only one who was a witness to how tired she was." I shot back. I turned to face Simon. "Simon also saw how tired she was."
"Yeah." Simon agreed. "Corporate cunt did look pretty tired.
"What the hell did you just say?!" Simon demanded.
"So Kirsty was really tired right before lunch and was resting in her hut." Sapphire stated. "Did anyone else see her after right before lunch?"
Nobody said anything.
"Crap!" Gavin shouted. "We can't narrow down the suspect list if nobody else saw her afterwards! Nobody would have an alibi!"
"Don't give up now." I encouraged. "As long as we keep hope alive, we'll figure this out! We'll figure out who caused Kirsty to walk into her death!"
"Extra Fries!" Henry shouted.
"What the actual fuck?!" I thought to myself.
"Huh?" What, Henry?"
"Shut up and listen, Natalie."
"Huh?"
"Listen! I just realized that we can't assume the killer simply set up a trap and Kirsty walked into it and was killed!"
"...Huh?"
"LISTEN TO ME!"
Rebuttal Showdown
"Pay attention, Natalie!" Henry was going crazy with his logic. We assumed before that the killer set their trap, Kirsty stepped into it, and then that was that! But we can't just say that now! There are other possibilities!"
"Other possibilities?" I replied. "I'm not following you Henry. How else could this murder have happened?"
"I said listen to me! The killer may have planted their trap after Kirsty left her hut, which would have been during the scavenger hunt! They then found her elsewhere, ambushed her, and brought her back to her hut! Then they either put her in the rope trap themselves, or put her right outside her hut, leading her to walk into it as soon as she woke up and got up!"
"No, no way, Henry. That is simply too big of a stretch to happen. I won't accept that. Besides, if the killer ambushed Kirsty, we would of found another wound on her body."
"Shut up! They could of found her during the scavenger hunt and convinced her to walk back with them to the huts, simply deceiving her. And this all could have been right before the time of death! Giving them enough time to arrive for Dana's first aid class! And since only Dane and Miranda have alibis during the scavenger hunt, so many people could of done it!"
"Crap!" I was starting to worry.
"Don't have anymore comebacks? Then time for you to shut up and help us figure this out!"
"Shit!" I cried to myself. "He' forced me back! And he's getting ready to force the discussion back! I can't let this happen!"
"Now then..."
"Wait! What Henry is saying could be true, if this one piece of evidence I have didn't make it untrue!"
"We know now that-"
"I'll cut your argument in two!"
"Stop, Henry!" I shouted, quite loud as well.
"What?!" Henry shot back.
"You're wrong about everything you just said, there is no way the killer set up their trap after Kirsty left her hut or met up with her during the scavenger hunt and got her back to her hut somehow."
"Oh shit!" Harvey cried. "Natalie is about to shut you down!"
Ignoring Harvey, I continued. "Consider the map of the scavenger hunt that Bridget designed."
"My map?!" Bridget giggled with excitement. "It is so artistic!"
"It sure is, but it also proves that Henry is wrong. If you remember, there were items for the scavenger hunt hidden all over the island, except by the huts."
"SO?!" Henry was getting angrier.
"Calm down Henry!" Sam exclaimed.
"Everyone participating in the scavenger hunt would have been all over the island, minus the huts. If Kirsty did leave her hut and the killer either ambushed her and brought her back or walked back with her, someone would of definitely saw them. Her hut had to be the only place the killer did their plan and Kirsty stepped into it as soon as she tried to leave."
"..." Henry didn't have anything else, he knew he was wrong."
"That for sure is settled." Irene stated. "Kirsty didn't leave her hut after Natalie talked to her."
"I agree." Dane agreed. "Even if she did leave, and the killer did their trap, and she simply walked into it, her body would have been facing the other way."
"Okay, that matter appears settled." Dana stated.
"Henry, you really need to relax." Gavin urged.
Henry didn't say anything.
"I think we should keep in mind that Bridget designed the map." Sapphire stated.
"Nonsense!" Bridget replied. "My map would never be used for an unartistic purpose like that!"
"Now isn't the time for accusations!" I cut in. "We still have more to discuss about this case, mainly the fact that Kirsty was so tired."
"You looked at the camera!" Miranda shouted.
"Why do these people keep shouting out random phases related to their talent?!" I asked myself.
"Yes, Miranda?" I asked.
"I just realized something!" Miranda exclaimed.
"What is it?"
"Even after all of that, we still shouldn't assume that Kirsty stepped into the rope trap. What if the killer forced her into themselves?"
"What?"
"Don't worry, Natalie. I will help you understand."
Rebuttal Showdown
"Don't worry Natalie, I'll help you out here. How do we know that the killer didn't struggle with Kirsty before putting her into the rope trap? Sure there wasn't any signs of a struggle and like you said, there weren't any other wounds on Kirsty, but that doesn't mean it didn't happen."
"I'm sorry, Miranda." I apologized. "I don't see how that would be relevant even if it was true, which you can't prove it is. The fact that we know for sure that Kirsty was tired the last time anyone saw her should be our current focus."
"No! We have to consider all options! Besides, I don't think Kirsty being that tired is as important as you're saying! Yes, she was tired at the time, but she could of just been sleepy! Kirsty being tired doesn't mean anything in this case!"
"Miranda is way in over her head." I bitterly thought to myself. "Maybe she's trying to impress Dane, but I got crystal clear evidence! I'll show her why she's wrong!"
"Kirsty being tired-"
"I'll cut your argument in two!"
"You're wrong Miranda!" I exclaimed.
"I am?!" Miranda replied, quite surprised.
"Sapphire..." I started with, quite reluctantly. "Can you please tell everyone what you witnessed last night?"
"Oh yeah!" Sapphire blurted out. "I almost forgot!"
"Why does everyone forget important evidence?!" I asked myself.
"Did Sapphire see something?" Gavin asked.
"You bet I did!" Sapphire replied. "Last time, I went to the supermarket, and someone else was there as well, someone who is definitely the killer!"
"And what makes you think that?" Ellen asked.
"Well, I called to them, they didn't answer, they even got real quiet. I tried to see who it was, but they got away from the supermarket before I could even see them."
"That is odd for sure." RK commented on. "But it doesn't destroy Miranda's argument."
"I'm not done!" Sapphire was angry now. "I was too scared to investigate then, so I quickly left the supermarket. But during the investigation, I checked the aisle I heard them in, it was the aisle that has sleeping pills. And in the very last pack in the back, there were a few sleeping pills missing!"
"Oh shit!" Rory exclaimed.
"Interesting." Irene commented on.
"Natalie, are you saying the killer took a few sleeping pills from a pack and drugged Kirsty to make her tired on purpose?" Sam asked.
I nodded my head. "Hell yeah I am."
"But..." Miranda tried to think of a counter. "Someone could of just simply taken them because they were having trouble sleeping! Even taking a few from a pack isn't suspicious!"
"I'll solve this piece of shit argument now." Simon replied. "Did any of you fuckers do that shit?"
No one replied.
"Nobody admits to taking any sleeping pills." I started with. "The killer definitely took them and made an effort to hide them, and their purpose was to make sure Kirsty was tired."
"Too tired to attend the scavenger hunt!" Bridget exclaimed.
"Too tired, they wouldn't notice the killer setting up a rope trap that she would then step into." Ellen added.
"The killer didn't fight with Kirsty!" Harvey added. "They drugged her!"
"...Okay...Sorry..." Miranda looked like she was ready to cry.
"Don't worry about it, Miranda!" Dane encouraged. "It was only a mistake.
"A mistake that could of made us vote for the wrong killer!" Sapphire yelled.
"I'm sorry!" Miranda apologized.
"Don't worry about it, Miranda." I assured. "Let's just focus on how Kirsty was tired."
"We need to know for sure how the killer was able to drug Kirsty." Irene said.
"Since the majority of us don't have an alibi, it will be quite difficult." RK commented.
"They could of done it when they were alone with Kirsty." Gavin added. "Or even just by themselves!"
"Fuck!" Simon cursed.
"If we can't narrow down the suspect list anymore, or figure out how the killer was able to drug Kirsty, are we just gonna have to go with who is most likely to be the killer?" Sam asked.
"We don't have a choice!" Harvey replied.
"Wait!" I shouted.
"No!" Sapphire whined. "Let's just vote Rory and be done with this!"
"Bitch, stop accusing me!" Rory growled.
"You have one more chance to tell us Rory." Ellen stated. "What were you doing during the scavenger hunt?"
"I told you! I was resting in my room!"
"But why were you resting?" Bridget asked. "Why did you choose to skip the scavenger hunt?"
"My leg was still sore from Harvey pushing me down the stairs!"
"I didn't push you!" Harvey insisted.
"Shut up, Harvey!" Sapphire snapped.
"But Dana said your leg wasn't that bad." Dane countered.
"That is true." Dana confirmed. "Your leg should have been fine enough to participate in the scavenger hunt."
"So Rory...was lying about his leg so he would have a reason to stay in his hut." Miranda added.
"GUILTY!" Henry shouted.
"No! Stop this shit!" Rory begged.
"I'm sorry, Rory." Irene apologized. "But I think this trial has gone on long enough."
"Time to pay the consequences for killing my darling Kirsty!" Henry roared.
"I didn't kill her! You're making a mistake!" Please!" Rory was starting to freak out again.
"Rory is still very suspicious...No! I still can't accept that he's the killer!" I thought to myself. "Not without enough proof! Besides, the rope trap just points to him too easily. But is there anyone else who could of set up a rope trap? Did anyone else know how? Who...NO! It can't be! Could this person be the true killer?! Did they set up the rope trap that killed Kirsty?!"
