After leaving Dane, I continued walking down the path, when I ran into Simon.
"Oh fuck me, so much." I groaned to myself.
"Fuck out of my way, office whore." Simon said.
I glared at him. "I can see you're still a miserable piece of shit."
Simon laughed. "If that is what you see, you must be looking in a mirror."
And with that, my better mood was gone. I slapped Simon in the face, knocking him back a bit. He got really pissed off after he recovered.
"You dumb cunt." He growled.
"Shut the fuck up, asshole!" I was getting angrier by the second.
"How about you shut your whore mouth up, don't think I won't punch a cunt in her fucking face."
"God! You are such a fucking bastard! You insult someone every time you talk, but get pissed when someone puts you in your place! Fuck you, Simon!"
Simon took a step towards me like he was gonna come at me, I prepared myself. Simon then shook his head and walked past me up the path.
"Asshole!" I flipped him off as he walked away, which he returned without even looking back.
"Fuck that guy!" I shouted to myself as I continued walking away.
I played with my ponytail to calm me down as I continued to walk, it slowly worked. I eventually ended up near the ship, where I saw RK and Sapphire. RK was cleaning the ship with paper towels and a spray bottle, while Sapphire was watching him. I quickly ran up to them.
"Hey, what's going on here?" I asked.
RK stopped cleaning and turned around, Sapphire did the same.
"Girl!" Sapphire said. "Stop bothering us and go away!"
"I often wonder who I hate most on this island." I groaned to myself.
"Hey Natalie." RK greeted. "I'm just cleaning."
"I can tell that much." I stated while turning my gaze to the ship. "But why the ship?"
"The ship needs to be clean!" Sapphire stated.
"But why?"
"Duh girl, you're so stupid! I'm gonna look pretty on the ship! But I can't do that on a dirty ship, so it must be cleaned!"
"..." I thought to myself.
"And there is no better person on this island to do this job, than the Ultimate Janitor."
I turned to RK. "RK, why are you doing this? You don't have to clean for her."
"Yes he does!"
RK shrugged as he continued to clean. "I really don't mind, cleaning is all I'm good for, so might as well put my use to work."
I groaned, before I grabbed some paper towels and the spray bottle, sprayed them, and started to clean the ship as well. RK stopped cleaning, looking shocked.
"What are you doing, Natalie?"
"Hey, I don't want to this either, and you shouldn't have to either. But I know you won't stop until this entire ship is clean, so I'm not gonna let you do it alone."
"Natalie..."
"Don't waste your breath trying to get me to stop, I'm here to help."
"It better be clean!" Sapphire whined.
I ignored her and continued to clean the ship, RK just shrugged and went back to cleaning as well. I spent a long time cleaning the ship with RK, while Sapphire stood there shooting her damn mouth off. While she was annoying as usual, I enjoyed spending time and chatting with RK, even if he didn't say too much.
"Keep cleaning!" Sapphire demanded.
Ignoring her, I turned to RK as I continued to clean. "I think we're just about done."
RK quickly looked around the ship as he continued to clean. "Yes, we are." RK stopped cleaning.
I did the same. "Man! That was..."
"Boring, you can say it."
"No! Really! I enjoyed cleaning with you RK."
"Perfect!' Sapphire exclaimed. "The ship is perfect."
I looked at RK. "I really do appreciate what you did for me last night, RK. I really needed it after that horrible class trial."
RK nodded. "It wasn't an issue at all."
I smiled at RK, I was just enjoying talking to him.
"Hey!" Sapphire cried, making RK and I turn our heads towards her. "Look at me!"
"What are we looking at?" I asked.
"Me!"
RK sighed. "I'm gonna go."
"Yeah me too." I agreed.
RK started to walk the way I came, while I started to walk the opposite way. I honestly wanted to follow him, but it would have been awkward with how we started walking, so I just continued on in the opposite direction.
"Hey!" Sapphire whined. "Look at me!"
I shook my head as I continued to walk away. Sapphire is the same old, same old, but RK, I feel like I'm really starting to connect with him. I hope I can spend more time with him later on. I kept walking until I ended up by the supermarket. I saw Henry leaning against the wall, drinking a soda. He looked pretty dead and emotionless. I walked over to him.
"Hey Henry." I greeted.
Henry turned to me, without any emotion in his eyes. "What do you want, Natalie?"
"I wanted to see...how you were doing after yesterday."
"How do you think?"
"Huh?"
"My darling Kirsty was brutally murdered!" Henry suddenly got quite aggressive. "And we never lived happily ever after! She was stolen from me!"
"...Henry..."
"There isn't any point!"
"...What?"
"There isn't any point in going on! I don't care what happens to me on this stupid island! There's no point in going on anymore! Not without my darling Kirsty!" Henry was really upset now.
"Please Henry...Try to calm down."
"Calm down!?" Henry turned to me, getting quite angry. "Why should I calm down?! Nothing about this is good! Nothing about this is great! Horrible is what it is! Just plan horrible!"
"Henry..."
"Shut up!" Henry threw his soda at the supermarket, splashing soda towards me, which I barely avoided. "Just shut up, Natalie! I don't want to hear anything from you or anyone else! You don't know what I'm going through! None of you do!"
I was gonna play with my ponytail to relax myself, but Henry was starting to make me mad. "We're all stuck on this island, Henry! We all had to go through the murders, class trials, and seeing our friends be executed before our very eyes! You think you're the only who is suffering?! You're not!"
"But nobody else lost the love of their life!"
"Kirsty hated you! She didn't love you! She didn't even care about you! She was a lesbian!"
Henry gasped as I then realized I shouldn't of said any of that.
"Henry...I'm sorry..."
"Shut up." Henry looked down at the ground. "Just leave me alone." Henry ran off.
"Henry!" I called out to him, but Henry just picked up the paste.
"Well now I feel like shit." I thought to myself. "Henry was definitely out of line, but I didn't need to say anything about Kirsty really felt."
Now playing with my ponytail, I walked into the supermarket to grab something to drink. As I walked up to the coolers and grabbed a bottle out of water out of one, Miranda walked up to me.
"Hi Natalie." Miranda greeted.
I turned to face her. "Hey Miranda."
"What were you and Henry yelling about out there?"
"You heard that?"
Miranda nodded. "I been in here the whole time."
I sighed. "Henry...still isn't better yet..."
"Oh, I see."
"Yeah..." I honestly didn't feel like talking to Miranda right now.
"Anyway, Natalie...Can I talk to you about something?"
"...Sure..." I took a sip of my water bottle.
Miranda looked around the store, nervously. "Ellen."
"What about Ellen?"
Miranda looked around nervously again. "I think Ellen might be in on this whole killing game."
"What do you mean?" I asked as I took another sip of water.
"I mean...I think Ellen might be fooling us all, and she's working with Aqua Tail and whoever put us on this island."
I spit out my water. "Really? You think that?"
Miranda nodded. "I do, I just got this feeling...I've had it since last night at the trial, where she revealed she knew Dana was the killer the whole time."
"I mean that was certainly a cruel and sick thing to pull on us, but it doesn't mean Ellen is working with the mastermind or masterminds of this killing game."
"I know it isn't proof and it may just be my feelings, but these feelings are strong." Miranda was now super serious. "I got a bad feeling about Ellen."
I spent some time discussing Ellen possibly being in on the killing game, with Miranda. I still didn't really wanna talk to her, but I put up with her.
"I'm sure you noticed her too." Miranda continued. "But Ellen's personality kind of twisted to somewhat crazy after the trial.
"I guess you can say that." I replied.
"Before, she was just rude, insulting, and mainly kept to herself, but that was just a crazy kind of twisted."
"Right..."
Miranda sighed. "Well, thanks for talking with me Natalie, the only other person I talked to about this is Dane, which reminds me, I'm gonna go see him! I'll see you later, Natalie!" Miranda waved goodbye and left the supermarket.
I waved back, before finishing my water. I still didn't want to talk to Miranda, but I was able to tolerate her. And she did have some good points about Ellen, perhaps being with Dane has given her an edge as opposed to the scared little girl she was, but I still didn't want to think about her dating Dane, even if I was still losing interest in him.
I tossed my empty water bottle away and left the supermarket. I ended up walking by the hotel, where I saw Ellen standing on the patio, looking out to the beach.
"I really don't want to, but I need to confront her." I thought to myself.
I walked up to the hotel patio. "Ellen."
Ellen turned to me and frowned. "Get lost."
"No."
"I said get lost."
"Not until you and I have a little chat."
"I would advise that you don't order me around." Ellen took a step towards me, but I stood my ground.
"I'm not afraid of you."
Ellen took another step towards me, her stony and emotionless eyes, trying to pierce me. I admit, she was coming off quite chilling, but I wouldn't show her any fear.
"Fine." Ellen stated. "What do you want?"
"The last class trial..." I started with.
"What about the last class trial?"
"You know what you did. You knew Dana was the one who knocked you out, you knew she was the killer. Yet, you kept your mouth shut until the very end!"
"So?"
"What do you mean so?! How could you let everyone suffer for that long, when we could of ended the class trial much sooner."
"I already explained it to you and the other idiots, I'm not repeating myself because you're actually as stupid as I first thought you were, just like the other idiots."
"...Shut up!"
Ellen gave me a sneerful smile. "It honestly is a shame, after last night, I thought you might actually be better than the other idiots." Ellen's sneerful smile then turned into a frown. "But if you insist on wasting my time with this kind of crap, you're really better off dead."
I gasped. "Ellen..."
"Shut up and stop talking to me." Ellen started to sound a bit scary again. "I've wasted enough time talking to you." Ellen walked past me and left the hotel patio.
"Bitch!" I shouted to her as she walked away.
"Most of the people left on this island may be trying their best." I thought to myself. "But a few of them...They're just...despair is the word I would use to describe them."
