Sgt Nicholas P. Wilde- ZPD/SAS

Echo 3-1

Mission- Clean House

Day-01

The target was a safehouse in the industrial district of Savannah Central, visually it looked like an apartment building but from the intel that was debriefed it could be far more than that. All of the information the SAS and SWAT teams were going off of were a bit circumstantial though, there was a chance that this was nothing but a dead end, however it was a chance the ZPD had to take.

"Targets are up boys, let's kick this off" Manson's voice said quietly as the 5 mammal team of SAS troops demounted the truck quietly "Charlie?" There was a crack in the radio before the wolf spoke "in position captain" Nick Wilde looked up at the surrounding buildings to try and spot the sniper covering the entire team, but it was so dark not even his night vision goggles could see the wolf.

As the five mammals stacked up against the outer brick wall of the apartment building, Manson, who was in the front, took out something resembling a pry bar/crowbar hybrid "Bravo 0-6, moving on the front yard" as they made it down the steps, Nick could see another SAS team moving in on the other side of the building. He gripped his gun tightly as the 5 split up, four including Manson and Judy Hopps moving to the front door "Wilde, set the ladder on the window" Manson's voice instructed as the fox holstered his gun and took out a compact ladder and clicked the button, making the ladder suddenly extend, then carefully placing the ladder on the edge of the open window.

Now gripping his Beretta, the fox began climbing the ladder, stopping in front of the first floor window. Before he could step through, he was surprised as he watched the rest of the team move up the stairs to the left of him, all in complete silence, then an unknown female voice spoke "I'll go get you some coffee" "hold your fire" Manson ordered as the source of the voice entered the kitchen only to be slammed onto the ground by the grizzly and have their hands cuffed. One of the other team members stood over the woman as the others moved on a door "there was supposed to be double the body count! There were only minimal casualties" "trust the elders." Two voices conversed as Nick, Judy and Manson took positions beside a door.

"Does that matter? Now The Green Sun is a household fucking name, For purity" another voice spoke as the others repeated the two last words "they're game, drop 'em" Manson whispered beside the two officers. Without any question the fox raised his gun and pressed the trigger six times, as he dropped the first insurgent the others yelled profanities before following with the first "make sure the rooms clear" Manson spoke as the two cops checked their corners, Nick Wilde raised his arm and spoke into the radio "Echo 3-1 to Watcher, first floor is clear" before watching another SAS team enter the first floor.

Sudden loud footsteps were heard from the second floor "they're here! Grab your gun!" Nick was about to change to full auto but was stopped when he saw the captain shake his head and whisper "Wilde, Hopps, group up at the stairs" as the fox and bunny obliged "are we still going quiet?" The fox asked only to get a silent nod.

The team of five slowly made their way up the stairs and put their night vision goggles on, seeing this the two cops did the same "Bravo 0-6, moving to the second floor" Manson whispered as the five seemed to split up with one member at each door "Wilde Hopps, you've got this one" Manson said against the wall.

The fox looked at his partner as they took positions beside a door just left of the railing of the stairs "we should just surrender! There's too many of the . . ." "I will not betray the Elders" "no, what are you doing?! Don't do this!" At that very moment, Judy Hopps busted through the door and shot an insurgent holding a woman at gunpoint, as Nick walked in the woman yelled "Mark no!" then attempted to grab an Ak-47 from the bed, however the fox dropped her before she could shoot.

His partner looked at him "holy carrot cakes" "make sure the second floor is secure" Manson reminded over the radio "the rooms clear" Nick responded before walking out of the room and jumping at the sound of multiple shots being fired as another SAS member returned fire and took out an insurgent with silenced shots. "Let's go, next floor" Manson ordered as he stood in front of the stairs.

The team moved silently up the stairs, after securing the hallway they were moving past a rather innocent looking door when another voice yelled "in front of the door!" Quickly followed by the SAS member in front of the door being shot multiple times. The doe in front of him took the opportunity to riddle the drywall with bullets in response, then bust open the door as Nick followed and put his arm up to his muzzle "Echo 3-1, two EKIA . . ." He looked up suddenly as his partner fired a burst of automatic fire at another enemy who jumped out from behind a television with another Ak-47.

The fox looked at his partner before somebody yelled, followed by the door beside them bursting open to reveal a caribou firing his pistol blindly into the dark while screaming, before he could get a full magazine in, Nick dropped them. The two officers moved into the room that the mammal came out from "clear" Judy spoke as she looked up at him and nodded "good, next floor" regrouping with the rest of the SAS, Nick saw the wounded leopard being given CPR by a moose "it's alright mate, stay with it" were the only words he heard before advancing to the next floor.

"You will pay with your blood for . . ." An insurgents threat was cut short as the grizzly in front of them took his pry bar and plunged it into the mammals neck, then their stomach "fuck off" Manson whispered as if it were a mild inconvenience before reaching the top of the stairs. As the two officers glared at the now dead mammal on the stairs, they began to hear a baby crying, Manson looked at them both "check your shots" before busting through the door to see a woman scream "no! My baby! My baby" the woman spoke, running to a crib and cradling a fawn in her arms.

Nick was just about ready to shoot anything that moved, it was a good thing he didn't, the grizzly stood in the doorway now "clear the floor" Nick looked at the door to their right and slowly approached it. Immediately after opening the door, the two officers saw a glimpse of a mammal before Judy yelled "under the bed!" They both lit up the bed with their gunfire, watching the mammals head slump out from under it, "clear" Judy said breathing heavily.

The duo looked behind them and at the grizzly "last floor, Wilde you've got point" the fox nodded before walking up to the now lit up hallway and taking his goggles off. Grabbing the doorknob and realizing it wouldn't budge, he looked at the captain "it's locked" the grizzly bear only pushed him to the side "I've got it" taking out the pry bar and opening the door by force, the three mammals entered the room to see a woman with her hands up "no! Please! They trapped me in here" Judy raised her gun at her "hands up and get on the floor!" the woman kept looking behind her "they were going to kill me!" "I said get on the floor!" Judy yelled "drop 'er" the woman ran backwards in response to Manson's order, before being shot once and falling to the ground "got 'er sir" Charlie Redbone's voice spoke over the radio.

The three walked up to the table the woman kept looking at and Nick was the first to speak "holy shit, she was going for a fucking detenator" he said picking the device up "we made a good call then" Judy added before watching the captain nod "you bet your ass we did, Bravo 0-6 to Watcher 3, building is clear" another voice came over the radio "copy, grab any intel you find and bag it" the female voice from yesterday said as the grizzly opened a laptop and chuckled "roger" the fox and doe looked at the laptop "what's on it captain?" "Well Wilde, from what I can see, we've hit the jackpot" he said closing it.

"You're a damn good shot Charlie" Nick thanked over the radio "I know, you two look good together" Nick looked at his partner and sighed "you've got cat-like reflexes, Fluff" the doe smiled "it comes naturally, I'm not letting you die now" the two looked behind them to see that Manson wasn't behind them, before both getting startled by the sudden voice "bag and tag everything before you get down here" Nick caught himself and nodded "10-4 Captain, 10-4" he responded before the two officers began doing just that.

Frederick Manson took his helmet off and spoke into the radio "how do your SWAT officers compare to that Adrian?" The water buffalo laughed on the other end "I had eyes on the whole thing, good work" the grizzly lit a cigar "ah you don't need to tell me that, I'm surprised your officers could keep up" "look gentlemen, now's not the time for casual talk, we need EVERYTHING in that building ASAP" "we're getting there Laswell" the captain spoke blowing smoke from his cigar.

Charlie Redbone had more than a birds eye view of how the mission went down, and for being regular field officers he couldn't say he wasn't impressed by Nick and Judy's performance. He's done a few missions similar to the one today, however he knew that he'd come in handy if anyone noticed the safe house was compromised, thankfully that didn't happen. Taking off his night vision goggles, he saw that it was pitch black outside with only the lights from nearby buildings and the safe house illuminating the area around his perch.

After a while of realizing what had just happened, Redbone heard two sets of footsteps walking up the fire escape of the building he was on, he knew that they were no doubt his two partners and turned to face them before they came up. "Bloody hell, that was suspenseful" he spoke as the two officers arrived, Nick immediately sighing "hell yeah, I felt like I was in a Call Of Duty game" the wolf laughed at the reference "we still don't know what we've found yet though" the doe added as she stood beside Nick "we won't know till tomorrow" Charlie spoke resting his rifle against the ledge and policing his brass.

"How the hell did you know she was going for a detonator?" Nick asked as the two stood in front of the sniper "her body language said so" Nick acknowledged that Redbone was right, in a mission like that you should treat everyone as suspects until proven otherwise, so an innocent woman refusing to get down on the floor was definitely a red flag "yeah, I guess that was on us" he watched the wolf nod "a little advice, if somebody's lookin back at a table or something and saying their innocent, don't believe them and drop 'em" Judy stepped in "thanks, but you do realize we're just police officers, right?" Redbone laughed "well for being 'just police officers' you did a pretty good job working with the SAS'' Nick somewhat snickered in disbelief "bullshit" he was nudged by his partner right afterward "uh thanks for the compliment but really?" The doe asked, only adding to the disbelief "well you weren't perfect but I know I'm impressed, so good job" he said, sticking his thumb up and smiling.

Charlie Redbone stood up and looked down at his superior "what now sir?" There was a silence before there was an answer "go home after you put your gear back, you made a good call Redbone" the wolf nodded "thank you sir, what about the others?" "Them too, just be at the station tomorrow" he looked at the two officers who nodded, then he turned his radio off and walked up to them "so tell me . . . Is anyone up for some tea?" Nick looked at Charlie, then at Judy "not much of a tea guy but a little coffee wouldn't hurt" the wolf nodded "we'll meet tomorrow morning then, yeah?" The three nodded in agreement at the question.
