August 14th 2019, 14:00

Sgt Charlie Redbone- SAS/ Task Force 141

Location- [REDACTED], Zootopia

Mission- Getting Dirty

Day- 01

Getting off of the aircraft, the wolf stood a few feet away with his rifle now in hand "ready sir" the grizzly stepped onto the ground and held his Boonie hat as he did, then walked in front of the three "alright, everybody stay close" the captain said gesturing the team to come with him. As the four moved onto the highway leading to the Rainforest District, Redbone couldn't believe what he was seeing "how did this happen, sir?" The Captain in front of him shook his head "I don't know" the four moved through a large amount of abandoned cars, probably left in all the panic.

As they made their way closer and closer to the city they began to pass bodies, most of which were prey animals, it would be terrifying for Redbone to see if he hadn't gotten used to it but it was still shocking, Manson didn't seem to even flinch while the two officers behind him looked like they were about to hurl. Charlie turned around and walked backward "you alright mate?" Judy nodded quite unconvincingly "yep . . . I'm fine" the wolf looked at his fox partner, who shook his head "this is some fucked up shit" Redbone nodded "couldn't agree more" and turned back facing the captain.

Eventually the Task Force began to hear sirens of an ambulance, which was followed by the source speeding down the highway, Redbone and the others stepped aside but Manson put his hands in front of him, telling the vehicle to stop. The ambulance slowed to a halt as a horse opened the door "are you with the police!?" the bovine shouted frantically "yes we are, we need a status on what's going on there" Manson said with a nod "e-everybody just suddenly went crazy!" Redbone stepped forward "how many are dead?" The horse shook his head quickly "I-I don't know, I don't even know what happened" "it's a terrorist attack, how many paramedics are still in the city?" The horse looked back at the road behind him "we were told to evacuate a few hours ago, I-I have a civilian in here that needs to get to the hospital, now!" "Then go!" Manson said as the paramedic sped off.

Charlie saw the captain raise his arm up and gesture the team to halt, the wolf stepped beside him "stay close, and if you see one of those savages . . . Shoot it" the wolf nodded before the four carried on.

Suddenly a voice came from Charlie's radio "Bravo Six, how copy?" Redbone put his hand to his muzzle to respond "Bravo Six to Watcher, we've just sent the last ambulance from the Rainforest District out of the QZ" there was a few seconds of static before an answer "understood" the sniper looked at his captain, who put his hand up as well "this is Bravo Six, about to enter the exclusion zone" the grizzly said as the four saw a large intersection with the skyline of the Rainforest District above it "roger, be advised that law enforcement are radio silent, there might still be a lot of officers there Frederick" the bear nodded "understood, what's the situation in the city?" Laswell's voice got a bit higher on the radio "uh, not good to say the least, but stay on mission and we'll deal with that" "a-firm" he said dropping his arm to his sides.

"Bloody hell . . . This is a fucking war zone" Charlie said about 20 minutes later as the four mammals began combing their way through the seemingly desolate city, not even a savage mammal to be found but what they did find was much more disturbing, dead mammals and lots of them, all scattered across the streets, and he was right. It did indeed look like some war torn country like Uzbekistan, ones that Charlie was unfortunately accustomed with. Even the captain seemed a bit concerned or even disturbed by it all as he slowly stepped over bodies of multiple species of mammals with his hardened face slowly fading into something else, still with his weapon up.

For up to an hour more, the team slowly made their way through the terrifying remnants of what was the Rainforest District, only less than 24 hours prior. Oddly not coming across any savages or terrorists, Charlie was beginning to think that this would be quick and easy, it seemed a lot like it too but he was still ready for something to happen, Nick and Judy had little to no comments as they passed town after town, only silence other than the captain briefing them on how close they were to where the objective was.

That silence did not seem to last though, and not in the way any member of the task force expected. As the four mammal team moved towards one of the many small villages up near the trees, Redbone's radio began picking up static but he thought it as nothing, there were many radio frequencies in an urban area like this, it was when it began to grow louder that he chose to bring it up "sir I'm picking up some static" the captain didn't stop walking "it's probably nothing, Redbone".

The wolf was going to just drop it but for the first time in an hour, Nick spoke "no, I've got it too" this succeeded in getting their superior's attention, as he stopped and turned around "what frequency is it on?" The wolf answered "ours, sir" the captain put the radio to his ear, his face confirming that he heard it too, however he put the radio away and turned around "can't do anything about it until we get a better transmission" Charlie only nodded and continued.

However only a few minutes later, Redbone and everyone else began hearing an unknown voice through their radio "I repeat, this is officer Hudson! 10-33! We have officers down, does anyone read me!?" The voice sounded very frantic and almost desperate, without a word or thought, Manson grabbed his radio and gestured the team to stop.
