29th Dec

Kyoko sat in the back of the car on her way to the 3rd photo shoot of the day. This one, however, was outside.

Ryu pulled into the parks car park and turned to face her.

"I heard from the movers today Kyoko-chan. They'll pick up your boxes on the 3rd and take them to Rens. Yashiro will be there to let them in. They work for the President so it is entirely discreet."

Someone knocked on Ryu's window. She turned and lowered the window a fraction of an inch.

He held up his ID badge and told them he worked with the shoot. If they would follow him he would direct them to the parking the rest of the crew was using. They would still have to walk a little while to get to the shoot itself, but not as far as from here.

He rushed off to an electric cart and motioned them to follow. They drove down a dirt track and came to a cleared space with some cars.

He pointed them to the trail they had to follow then drove back off toward the main car park.

The girls got out of the car and walked along a path for about 10 minutes before coming to the shoot site. Kyoko recognised one of the people stood by the make up trailer and walked over.

"Julie?"

"Kyoko-chan? Oh it's so good to see you!"

She hugged her.

"Julie. What are you doing here?"

"I was in the area when I got an alert about this shoot. Its for one of my lines. Usually I just get sent the photos but as I was around I thought I'd drop in and see. I didn't know you were the model."

"Really?"

"Really. I don't go to every shoot Kyoko-chan. Like I said I usually only get sent the photos. I don't get the details on the models."

"Oh. I didn't know it worked like that."

Julie launched into an explanation of how she worked while Kyoko went through hair, make up and wardrobe.

As Kyoko modelled, Julie stayed silent.

When it was finished however, Julie started singing her praises about how cute she was.

Julie chatted with Ryu while waiting for Kyoko to change and the three of them walked back to the cars together.

Julie had been chatting to Kyoko when they both walked into Ryu, who had come to a complete standstill in the middle of the path with her phone to her ear.

Kyoko peeked around Ryu to see.

The car was trashed. I warned you was spray painted across the windscreen while whore and bitch had been sprayed onto the left side doors. Every window was smashed and spray paint was inside the vehicle.

Kyoko clung to Julie.

"How?"

Ryu, still on the phone, headed over to the car and laid down next to it. She looked underneath the car. Apparently satisfied she stood up and moved to the wheel wells and checked each one. At the rear right passenger side she frowned and disappeared behind the car as she crouched down.

She stood back up with phone in one hand and something clutched in her other.

Julie put her arm around Kyoko and pulled her in tight.

Ryu walked back over, hanging up the phone.

"That was the President. He's sending your guards in their car. Mine is going to be towed as evidence. Again. I have to wait here. I have to hand this over to the detectives."

She pulled a handkerchief from her pocket and unfolded it to show them a small black box.

Kyoko reached out to touch it but Ryu jerked it back.

"Don't touch. There could be fingerprints."

"What is it?"

"GPS tracker. It's how they found the car. Takarada-san is furious."

Other members of the shoot began to arrive and Julie took charge. She had two men set up an area to sit and wait and set up two others to keep people away from the car.

Only when Kyokos guards turned up with their car did the women relax.

Julie ushered her into the car, while Ryu headed off the police. She was who they wanted to talk to and anything they wanted from these women could be obtained from them later. Ryu waved them off and as they were leaving they watched Ryu watch her car be loaded onto the back of a truck.

Kyoko sighed. Back to Lorys office.

The Watcher

Fucking woman had 9 lives! HOW?! Not a bump, bruise or scratch. She'd dodged the explosion in which Ren had got hurt instead, she hadn't been in the car, the stunt failure hadn't killed her, she'd even survived being pushed down stairs and strangled!

Following the car here had been simple. Simple observation. See what that filthy bitch was up to.

But to see her laughing and chatting, like nothing was wrong, like nothing was her fault! The red had descended.

Vandalising the car had been a moment of anger and it was regretted. Placing the tracker had taken a while and it would be near impossible to place one on the replacement car.

Deep breaths. Calm the anger. Save it for later when Kyoko was finally in their grasp. For when she would pay for everything.
