A lot of jumping between perspectives, and also a lot of RWBY lore change for important reasons in the future.

Pyrrha Nikos (REACH, ONI SWORD BASE):

When she finally got off the falcon after having a slightly disturbing staring contest with a man with a skull for a helmet who was known as Noble Four she was taken to a base with the other survivors. She heard that the planet they were on was called Reach and that the creatures were known as the Covenant. After Noble Team came back from a firefight she was examined by a medic who was shocked to see the condition of her ankle.

"You should not be even able to walk!" the medic stated, "Let alone fighting! How did you manage to do that?"

"Either fight or hide," Pyrrha stated, "I saw dead bodies and I assumed some people needed help, and I was right. Also, I can't do much other than walk if I don't know where help is."

"Most would be screaming in pain," the medic stated.

"I guess I am not like most," she said.

"Also you don't seem to be a citizen of Reach," the medic said, "Where are you from."

"I am from a planet not under the UNSC's jurisdiction, but I have no idea how I got here," Pyrrha was being as honest as she could, "I am from a planet called Remnant."

"Oh..." the medic seemed sympathetic, "You were possibly kidnapped."

"Why would I be taken here then?" she asked.

"I don't know," the person replied, "Just how old are you?"

"Sixteen, almost seventeen, why?" Pyrrha answered. Yes, I am changing her age for several different reasons and I am putting the vital festival in summer because it looks like the school year starts in the spring semester. Because of how they were bringing in students (and timeline purposes) it happens in the summer now since who is going to send their students HALF to one third to three of a year for something that takes place in a month (one of the four years the festival would happen in their campus)

This brought a look of shock and horror to the medic's face. "Well your ankle will be repaired in a few hours," the medic stated, "You heal surprisingly fast, and also we managed to fix a lot of it."

"Thank you," she said.

"Well you did save a few people so it is the least we could do," the medic walked out of the room closing the door behind him.

Noble Team (REACH, ONI SWORD BASE):

Noble Team walked to where Halsey was. They were separated by a clear wall, but they could talk to each other. Noble One tried to tell Halsey what happened, but she told him that he didn't need to tell her what happened at her doorstep. What she did need to know was about the communications relay and what happened there.

"The scientist I sent there survived, he would like to have the information your second in command stole," Halsey stated when she got the data, "If you want to know, I was alerted when you tried to tap into it. I could send you to the brig for interfering with my work."

"Maybe you'd like to join her then," Carter said.

"What?" Halsey asked.

"Civilian interference with deployment of a SPARTAN Team under Winter Contingency is strictly prohibited," the commander stated.

"Are you threatening me, commander?" Halsey asked.

"Just making a reading suggestion," Carter replied.

"About the elites," Halsey said.

"Three Zealots," Jorge said.

"Are you sure?" the doctor asked.

"Their shield strength and armor configuration would say so," Noble Six stated, "One got away."

"You let one get away?" they knew the doctor was angry at them.

"I gave the order not to engage, our mission was to-" Carter was cut off.

"Are you a SPARTAN or a puppet?" she asked, "There had been rumors about elite units searching for information and they were always Zealot and traveled in small numbers. At least you managed to save my scientist and the data."

"We only provided a mode of transportation for the man," Emile stated, "Believe it or not we didn't save him."

"So he wasn't hallucinating when he said a young civilian woman saved him?" Halsey asked.

"Teen to be precise," Jorge answered, "She is getting medical assistance right now."

"How can a child take out two Zealots and a squad of Covenant?" Halsey asked.

"It was more than a squad," Jun stated, "According to video footage she killed most of the Covenant on the way there. Didn't leave much for us."

"Are you certain?" Halsey was visibly concerned.

"Yes," Noble Six said.

"Ah, so a child did all of your work, and you couldn't engage one Zealot?" Halsey said.

"Yes Ma'am," Carter replied as they started to leave.

"Anything else Ma'am?" Jorge asked.

"That will be all Jorge," Halsey said contemplating something.

Pyrrha Nikos (REACH, ONI SWORD BASE):

She stood up to the medic's dismay, but she said that she was fine. Her ankle didn't hurt anymore, and the medic left to report something. She was told to wait in her room, and that was what she did until a lady and the medic came into the room. The lady told the medic to leave and he complied.

"Pyrrha Nikos," the woman said looking her in the eyes, "That is your name right?"

"Yes," Pyrrha stated, "And who might you be?"

"My name is Doctor Halsey," the lady now known as Halsey replied, "I want to say that I am quite impressed with your fighting skills. So tell me, where did you learn how to fight."

"Sanctum Academy," Pyrrha stated which confused the other lady.

"Is that a military boot camp?" Halsey asked.

"No it is just an academy that teams self-defense," that was true, but it did more than that, "We also had bad wildlife."

"Oh... I never heard of Remnant before, care to enlighten me?" Halsey asked.

"It was a planet that was overrun by wildlife with a thirst for blood," Pyrrha stated, "It was in a place known as the Broken System by many."

"Why would it be called Broken System?"

"We have shattered moon and the many people who live here are children or grandchildren of people who had to deal with the bad wildlife. Every community would be on edge, and people seemed to be willing to fight each other over misunderstandings or, accidents..."

"That is tragic," Halsey stated, and Pyrrha looked down.

"Not all stories have happy endings," Pyrrha said, she thought about the people she failed to save, she thought of Penny, she thought about the two friends she had at Sanctum. Her popularity scared most people off but those two girls didn't care. Neither of them knew who she was and the younger one called Ruby wanted to be like the other children but was always an outcast. The older one known as Yang was the younger kid's sister, and she was able to make many friends. The younger one declared Pyrrha her best friend and they got along well, and she later made friends with her sister. Pyrrha failed to save them when she failed to stop that witch...

"What happened?" Halsey must have noticed her change in expression.

"I thought I could fight a sociopathic lady by myself, but she was stronger than me. I chose to become a fighter to stop people like her, but I failed. She got the upper hand knocked me out clean as I watched my friend arrive."

"You chose to fight?" the doctor asked.

"I did, I wanted to help people," Pyrrha said, "I knew people who went missing because of this profession, but I think that it is worth the risk if it saves lives."

"So you wanted to become a soldier?" Halsey asked.

"It is quite different from that," Pyrrha said, "If I wanted to I would've gone to another place."

"Ah, and where would that be?" Halsey questioned.

"There are four main graduation academies for the profession I wanted. I went to Beacon Academy, if I wanted to be a soldier I should've tried my hand at Atlas Academy which works closely with the military."

"Even if you didn't want to be a soldier..." Halsey said, "You have skills, Ms. Nikos..."

Noble Team (SWORD BASE):

The Covenant was on Reach and Noble Team was awaiting orders for deployment. They walked around the halls for a while until they spotted Pyrrha looking at something she was holding. She walked right past them without giving them even a glance.

"I guess civilians don't care about meeting SPARTANs," Jun remarked looking at the girl, "What is she doing here anyway?"

"Don't know," Emile said, "Might have to do with her skills, probably given her a job offer."

"She's too young for that," Jorge stated, "Maybe it is too dangerous to take anyone to the cities because of the Covenant."

"I am agreeing with Noble Four on this," Noble Six replied, "I heard of civilian children being used for the fight against the Insurrection and Covenant. Also, she has a lot on her mind at the moment."

'I hope your wrong,' Jorge thought. He may have been a SPARTAN, but he wasn't a monster. He didn't believe sending children to die was right, but that is what desperate people did... That is what the SPARTANs were.

Pyrrha Nikos (ONI SWORDBASE):

She wanted to cry or scream, but she kept her composure. She was given an offer and she hated it. It felt too much like Beacon, the offer of becoming the Fall Maiden to be precise. Pyrrha looked at a picture with eight people in it she just stared as she walked past people. She looked at her team leader, they were a team of all girls. Her partner wanted to be part of the same team so badly that she walked around the Emerald Forest looking straight at the ground while bumping into things left and right.

If she said no to the offer she was given it would be like abandoning humanity, if she said yes she would have to keep killing. Did she hate the thought of it, was it her destiny to always be put in these situations?

She didn't know if she could ever go home again, and she did not know what to do. 'UNSC,' she thought, 'Where have I heard that before?' She searched her thoughts until she found her answer. UNSC was the thing that crashed on Remnant years ago on Patch. The Grimm infested the area because of all the panic and many people were forced to move elsewhere, including her two friends. It was only what seemed like an armored plate according to Ruby, but that meant something or someone else was out there, and how she met them. Pyrrha thought for a little more about her choices and made her decision. She wanted to help stop the Covenant if it meant protecting people. 'Maybe this is my destiny?' Pyrrha thought.

Catherine Elizabeth Halsey (REACH, ONI SWORD BASE):

She was delighted to hear Pyrrha excepted her offer, but she also felt terrible about it. She knew that she shouldn't have even given the girl the opportunity, but humanity was on the line. She didn't let any of this show, but instead, she just gave a neutral face. She watched as Ms. Nikos was being taught how to use different weapons, but the teen didn't seem to need any instructions. She was obviously good at all the different weapons, but she was best at the battle rifle. She was better than her trainers at hand-to-hand combat. Ms. Nikos was obviously talented and trained really well.

'I wonder how she will fare against a SPARTAN,' Halsey thought. Ms. Nikos was ready, and that was all that mattered.

Noble Team (REACH, ONI SWORD BASE) Timeskip:

Noble Six and Jun went on a mission to see what the Covenant were hiding (and well, it goes the exact way in the game). Now it was daytime and they had everything set up for an attack. Noble Team was split between falcons and a warthog. They had Kat drive and Noble Six operate the turret. They had one extra space and that was for Nikos, to Jorge's dismay, who was also on this mission.

They were going to drive on a bridge when it exploded, so Kat made a jump. They made it, having the warthog flip over. All of them were knocked out of the vehicle and Kat watched as both Noble Six and Nikos stood up.

Pyrrha Nikos (VEIRY TERRITORY, REACH):

"Might want to hold onto something," was what Noble Two said when they were racing to get to the other side.

They were going to make a jump that would most likely fail, so Pyrrha decided to use her semblance only a little to make sure they didn't all die. It may have flipped the warthog, but now they were all not dead, so that's a plus. She turned around to see another warthog try to make the jump, but fail. She couldn't save them, but she just stood up and continued on.

They ran through the fields of enemies, and with a battle rifle in hand, she killed the Covenant. They took down many of them including turrets where the enemies could sit in them. After clearing the area they were given another warthog. Noble Six decided to drive with Noble Two shooting in the back and Pyrrha sat in the passenger seat. They had to take down an anti-aircraft cannon, and when they got there, they were met with a horde of enemies. The two SPARTANs and the teen were shot at by a wraith. Their vehicle flipped knocking them out and exploded in their faces.

They all ducked behind a rock for cover.

Noble Two, Kat, (VEIRY TERRITORY, REACH):

'How is this girl still alive?!' Kat thought as they kept switching between ducking and shooting.

"What's the plan now?" Nikos asked while she used her scope for precise hits. When they finally finished killing all the enemies, Noble Six blew up the AAC. They went to a building flooded with Covenant soldiers and ran through it without injury. They grabbed a new warthog and went to the next AAC which was propped on a piece of land that was higher than the rest of the area. And of course, (as you could guess) their vehicle was exploded by one of two wraiths. Now they were hiding behind a rock.

Noble Six (Veiry Territory, REACH):

He knew that they couldn't win without a distraction, and even though he was going to sacrifice the teenager, it would be to save the planet.

"Nikos, I need you to destroy that AAC now!" Noble Six ordered, "We will provide cover fire for you." The girl nodded and jumped over the rock. He didn't plan on providing help as he ran to do it himself.

Pyrrha Nikos (VEIRY TERRITORY, REACH):

She ran through the hordes of enemies and dogged their fire. Pyrrha noticed that the wraith was close enough to the higher ground that she could use it to propel herself high enough. She killed an enemy and picked up its plasma grenades with one hand and sprinted for the vehicle. She ran onto it and did a front flip to reach the area, but in the middle of her flip, she threw the grenades she had onto the wraith.

She ran to the AAC where she was met by a pair of hunters. She dogged their shots and didn't know what to do next. She only had two grenades, one of them was needed to destroy the cannon. Then she realized that she had everything that she needed already.

Pyrrha quickly ran behind one of them and jumped on its back to place a grenade in the group of worms. She pushed her body away from the explosion, now only one to go. She ran in front of the power core to the building with the hunter right behind her. The hunter stood right in front of the shield to the core with her a little further away, but then, she got an idea. She watched as it charged its weapon to attack her, and when it was ready she used her semblance to move the weapon to point at the core. The laser beam broke the shield and exploded the core, when it was done she watched as the hunter, who was obviously confused, charge at her. She ran out of the exploding building and now outside jumped over the hunter and threw a grenade into the worms. Which made it explode like the other one. She landed on her feet to see Six running to her area.

Noble Six (VEIRY TERRITORY, REACH, EXPLODED AAC):

Six watched as the AAC blew up and Nikos kills a hunter with a grenade. He didn't expect her to succeed, and he just stared. Well, she did follow his order. He wondered what Noble Two thought about what just happened.

Noble Two, Kat (Veiry Territory, REACH):

Kat watched as a seemingly normal teen destroyed a wraith right after running onto it while being shot at. Okay, that was impressive, and since Noble Six most likely tried to use her as a distraction, kind of hilarious. She kept looked as Nikos run into the AAC blow it up and kill a hunter.

"What the-"

Noble Six (VEIRY TERRITORY, REACH):

They finished up the enemies and were being picked up by a falcon to destroy a Covenant tower. Two were staying behind, but Nikos was going with them on a different falcon. He watched as Nikos climbed onto one gunner seat and he got onto the other one.

"So you survived," Noble Five said to Nikos who only replied with a yes.

They shot at things that could knock them out of the sky until they reached the shield to the tower. They needed to disable the shield quickly, but when they passed it the falcon went offline.

Pyrrha Nikos (VEIRY TERRITORY, REACH, CRASHING FALCON):

She noticed the pilot lost control of the falcon and they crashed. 'Why do the vehicles I am in need to be destroyed?' Pyrrha thought as she climbed through the wreckage. She felt a pain in her side and looked to see a piece of sharp metal penetrating her body. Even with all the armor she and the other Marines were given, it couldn't protect anyone from this. She limped to a med-pack on the ground, ripped the shard out, and placed biofoam to her wound. It stung a lot, but it helped even more. She noticed that all the SPARTANs were fine.

"Grab a jetpack Nikos," Noble One said.

She put one on and looked at the thing they needed to destroy.

They fought the enemies on the ground, but what many didn't account for was the snipers that could hide in the rocks. Pyrrha only noticed them when she barely dogged one of their shots of burning plasma. She used her jetpack to gain a higher vantage and attack the enemy.

She didn't miss most of her shots which were from all the years of training. It looked like Noble Six was the one to take out the shields. She watched as the SPARTAN went up a clear elevator thing, but stopped knowing she had her own battle in the ground. When they cleared out the building Pyrrha had a thought. However, it was forced down when she noticed that Noble Six deactivated the shield. They all got into a falcon and watched as a UNSC frigate appeared to use its mac gun, whatever that was, on the tower.

"What the..." Pyrrha said as she looked at the sky, it felt like a lot of metal was coming closer, it gave her a cold and sinister feeling.

Noble One, Carter (VEIRY TERRITORY, FALCON, REACH):

He watched as the girl who was just standing and holding onto a wall and somehow survived all this jerk her head and tilt her body to look out the falcon.

"What the..." was all she said before her face switched to horror as she looked up, "Is that a Covenant ship?"

"No that is a UNSC Heavy Frigate," as he said this, he couldn't help but roll his eyes at her comment.

"Not that one, the one above us!" she pointed up at the sky.

"She's right," Noble Six stated looking at the thing.

"Grafton is falling into a trap!" Carter yelled to air control, "Tell them to get the hell out of there!"

"What?!" air control replied, "Did you say a trap?!"

"YES, IT DID!" Carter yelled, but he was too late and the ship was gone. "GET US OUT OF HERE!" he ordered the pilot.
