"Bambina are you coming or am I leaving you here?"

Carina called while she started to head toward the door, as to pick her boots up from where they had been thrown next to the door, from she came in last night. Now she was starting to get impatient with her girlfriend how long does it take for her to put some clothes on; normally her girlfriend was the type just to throw something on with herself normally being the one that delayed them leaving the house.

"I'm sorry, Im sorry. We really need to do some laundry I swear the only thing clean I could find was your underwear" she rushed out she herself started to head for the door to pick up her trainers. "Si that would be because you keep buying me more pairs, I swear at this point I have more underwear than any other item of clothing".

"well, I can't help that I see them and think how much it will suit my superhot Italian girlfriend." Not looking up from where she was tying her shoes knowing that her girlfriend wanted to getting moving.

Standing up now that her trainers were tied ready to finally leave the house, while Carina was suddenly stood in front of her with her arm around the back of her neck, stroking the back of her neck while she struggled not to turn into a puddle In front of her girlfriend from such a simple form of affection.

"is that so… so it has nothing to do with that you find me incredibly sexy when you know that I might have them on under my scrubs?" she asked as she arched a perfectly shaped eyebrow at Maya just waiting for the response.

"Well that as well, but can you really blame me I mean have you seen yourself your gorgeous and I know how lucky I am to have you". She finished with a nod and a smirk as she brought her arms around Carina's back bring her in closer to her body, always wanting to have her closer to herself.

"Si I have seen me, but im still not as gorgeous as my girlfriend. Come we have to leave before we end up not leaving again, like we did the last time". Stepping away from Maya walking toward the door, picking her bag up from the hook as she went knowing that Maya would just follow her as she left the apartment locking up as the two of the left.

"I still don't see why I have to come with you it just grocery shopping, we could have just got it delivered to the door, so we never had to leave the bed today". Maya exclaimed as she made her way to the passenger side of the car already knowing that Carina would be the one driving.

Rolling her eyes while getting into the driver's side of the car "I never made you come with me, you insisted saying we needed to spend more time together and you would come with. You know that the deli doesn't deliver and it's the only place I can get some things". Starting the car up making their way out of the car park towards the shops.

"I know im sorry I just didn't sleep well and im grumpy I guess and of course I want to spend all the time I can on our joint day off, you know I can never get enough of you."

"Stopping being grumpy then as soon as we get the shopping done the sooner, we get home". That seemed to put a smile onto Maya's face. "so that you can get washing on" and suddenly the smile was not on Maya face anymore, let the day of excitement begin.

Maya was bored, like boredom she felt when she was a child following her parents round the shop, being told that she could or could not have certain items which manly consisted of being told no to everything.

Well, she was never good at shopping then or now. But shopping became sort of a game of seeing how many extra items she could get in the cart without her parents noticing; her record was fifteen. As a child often sneaking the items to her room so that her parents did not see them or giving them to Mason just to try and get him to smile even then he always seemed on the more downside than up. Thinking about it, she defiantly wasn't a rule follower as a child.

The game continued until her father noticed one time when she was about ten and the consequences had not been worth the reward of the game itself and therefore, she never did it again. Just like many other things from her childhood never to be seen or spoken of ever again even now.

It was during this mussing that somehow, she ended up wondering away from Carina who she thinks was talking about some sort of herb or herbs who knows. Still not knowing the differences between them but also knowing better than to say that to her girlfriend; the last time she had said something similar it had resulted in her getting a TWO HOUR lecture on all the differences on spices; including the different affect that they each had on a dish and just about every dish, she was tired just thing about those two hours.

She loves her girlfriend she really does, but she really did not want to go through that again. No thank you, she can just stick to her protein bars and smoothies and let her girlfriend master the kitchen if that is what she wanted to do, besides she could finally see some benefits of favour, at least where Carina is involved.

"Captain Bishop it good to see you again". A familiar voice said knocking her straight out of her thoughts and to look around the shop. She had somehow ended up at the other end of the shop than where she had been with Carina, also noticing that the person that had spoken to her had been none other than Doctor Bailey pulling that normal Doctor Bailey look of impatience.

"Hello Doctor Bailey. Long-time no see; you here by yourself?"

Her and Warren might be dissimilar in many ways but very similar in others; like the love they both shared for the respective woman in their lives, therefore wanting to spend as much time with them as possible which wasn't always possible with their schedule.

Sometimes it seemed that they were both under a spell by the women, that either wanted to break or be cured of. Knowing that this meant that one of her colleges/ subordinates was most likely somewhere around the store.

"Have you met my husband?" Bailey states in that matter-of-fact way that only bailey can quite get right no matter how many times Maya had tried to copy it, In the end just sticking to commanding in her own way.

"He's around here somewhere, I think I left him looking at truffle oil or something. As soon as he sees im not stood next to him anymore he will come running, I don't know what he thinks will happen, but he always does the same thing every time it like he thinks I'll just leave him in the shop, not that I haven't considered it."

Stating with that a content look on her face not really annoyed with her husband antics. Finding it quite endearing not that she Chief Miranda Bailey was about to admit that; especially to her husband's boss who was looking the most relaxed she has ever seen her.

Then again, the majority of time that she had seen the fire captain having been a major incident or accident, never really mixing with the younger woman outside of her or her Husband's work.

Maya let out a small chuckle at the mental image that Bailey just painted for her, she could quite imagine Warren running after Bailey as she left the shop.

"What about you? Are you here by yourself or do you just like to day dream around stores and then leave" while lifting her eyebrow and just waiting for the captains response having noticed she wasn't carrying any shopping but just about at the end of the shop also the day dreaming.

Maya really didn't know what to say to that she thought that she had got away with the daydreaming when she saw the Doctor.

But apparently not also in the process; forgetting the first rule when it came to Doctor Bailey, she misses nothing. Which is probably why she is the world class surgeon that she is.

But that did not help Maya in this second, she was meant to act like a fire captain even when she was not in uniform, she is always representing her city. And her daydreaming about her girlfriend as she went around a store was not captain like at all

"Ermmm".

"Doctor Deluca is that you?" came the loud voice that was defiantly not her girlfriend, but she still thought that it sounded familiar. Turning around to see she thinks is Doctor Warren standing not far behind her.

Wasn't that where her girlfriend has just been stood as she talked about, she doesn't remember now what she was talking about, which begs the question how long she had just been stood here talking to thin air.

"Si it is Doctor warren is it not?" asking thinking she got the name right but not sure as it had been a while since she had last seen him. "yes, but please call me Ben, not many people call me doctor any more since I changed careers to be a fire fighter".

"ah si you are the doctor what is married to the chief and transferred to station 19". Being happy to finally place where she had seen him most recently, he is one of Maya fire fighter. Carina having not worked with him much when he was still a Doctor at the hospital did not instantly place him.

"it is good to see you again Ben, how are things? You do not look as flush as the last time I saw you". Stating matter of fact as one of the only times she had worked with the doctor he had turned bright red and practically ran away. She still could not understand why grown men and doctors at that could not handle a basic womanly function.

"do you mean flushed?" still remembering that day quite well and understanding how she got the nickname in which she did at the hospital not quite believing that her method worked to this day.

"Si thank you Ben".

"And yes, I am doing well firefighting ended up being everything that I expected it to be and so much more. Though my captain ended up being just as fiery as my wife and probably loves the rules even more than Miranda. Not that im going to tell either one of them that". Knowing that both women would show their displeasure in different ways and not wanting experience any of them.

Carina just stood their listening knowing for definite now that Ben did not know who her partner was/ is.

Did Maya really talk about her that little at work? Should that worry her? Should she talk to her later about this? Too many questions right now.

"Si Doctor Bailey does know how to bring the storm no? is your fire captain not good no?" wanting to see what people thought of her girlfriend when they did not know that she was incredibly biased when it came to the captain.

"Bring the thunder. And Bishop yeah, she's a good captain; had abit of a rocky start due to how she got the job. She strict ought, has been from the get-go and loves the rules, it's almost like she reads the regulations for fun. I mean it's turned into a running joke at the firehouse. She cares though and is protective of her team, always pushing us further than we wanna go to help us I think, like when we do PT none of us can even keep up with her makes you feel like you've pulled your eyeballs".

Carina was trying no not to smirk knowing the feeling he was talking about having gone running with her girlfriend all of one time and then never again. but turning into a slight frown when she thought about what he just said.

"how she got the job?"

Carina knew how Maya got the job; having picked up the emotional wreck that was Maya after how her team treated her when she first became Captain. Which in all honestly, she still held against her girlfriend's team whether they all knew it or not. No Matter how many times Maya told her it was alright it just did not sit right with her that someone or somebodies had hurt her Maya.

"Erm when she got it, it was between three people her and two others with more experience and Bishop got it over them which some of the team didn't like as they felt like it should have been one of the other two's"

At this point Ben was pretty unsure why they still were talking about the fire captain. As far as he knew Carina had no interest in fire fighting maybe she just found it interesting?

"and should it have been one of the other two in your opinion?" Carina now really wanting to know the answer. Needing to know if she really could trust these people to look after her girlfriend in some of the most dangerous situations in which there are as Maya safety was always her biggest worry.

"erm" not knowing how to answer this question without possibility saying something stupid.

"Come on Warren aren't you going to answer the question?"

Instantly he panicked as he turned around to see the owner of that voice already knowing who it belonged to, wondering just how much of that they had just heard.

Stood there behind him waiting for an answer, was his Captain and right next to her was his wife both with their arms cross wearing the same facial expression. Looking at them; he knew he had to answer the question.
