Sex Education

A small attempt at a Sex Education oneshot, I haven't watched the whole series yet but loved what I saw, so I thought I'd give this a go and maybe, some time in the future after I've seen it all, I'll work on longer stories. This is just a small, hopefully slightly humorous oneshot so please, enjoy. Setting by the way is probably pre-series, or could be any time early first season I suppose :)

Disclaimer: I don't own Sex Education or its characters.

Morning Glory

The chirping of the birds outside the window and the sunlight filtering through the window as well as the alarm clock by his bed were all that was needed to awaken Otis Milburn from slumber. With a yawn the dark haired young man sat up in bed, rubbing the sleep from his bright blue eyes, blinking a few times to focus.

'Another day, better hurry and get to school…' He reflected before noticing. 'Huh, that's weird, why do I feel...oh no.'

His eyes widened as he finally identified the source of the strange discomfort he was feeling, despite the peaceful sleep he had just had, his boxers had felt oddly tight and it was only after some though that he realized what was going on. Pulling back the blankets in a panic the awkward teen was confronted with the sight of the pitched tent in his boxers from his morning wood.

"Oh no, no, no…" Otis panicked, as usual, anything sexual, related to himself at least, freaked him out.

Quickly scrambling out of bed he tried to think, he needed to get rid of this erection before getting ready for school. But as always seemed to be the case, fate conspired against him in the form of the door opening at that exact moment, with the evidence impossible to hide.

Of course, Otis' nightmare wouldn't be complete without the person opening to door turning out to be his mother.

"Otis, is everything alright?" She asked as she stepped in. "I could hear you-oh…"

Otis could feel his face flame, this was the last thing he wanted to happen, ever.

"Mum, I-I'm fine I just...need some time, I'll be right down." He stammered, trying to get her to leave quickly.

But it was too late, she had already started.

"Otis, there's nothing to be embarrassed about, it's perfectly natural for teenage boys to experience-"

"Oh god, mum, please." Otis groaned. "I...I need time, so I can get ready for school and…"

Jean held her hands up. "I'm just trying to help."

Otis groaned. 'This again…'

Luckily the sound of the doorbell saved him.

"Ah, that'll be Eric, I'll go say hello." Jean remarked before leaving Otis, at last, to his own devices.

Otis took a deep breath, trying to think.

'Gotta be a way to calm this down, c'mon...think, think, think…'

He grimaced, looking around his room, until his eyes fell on his CD collection, all neatly arranged in alphabetical order. Otis bit his lip, unsure at first, but then decided it was worth a try.

A short while later Otis hurried down the stairs, all ready for the day, grabbing his jacket and helmet as he hurried to the door where Eric and his mother were talking.

"Hey man, took you long enough." Eric greeted him with a wide grin.

'Oh please don't say mum told him.' Otis thought. "Sorry, ready now, let's get going."

Pulling on his helmet Otis quickly clambered onto his bike, Eric climbing onto his and they both began to cycle away.

"Bye boys." Jean called after them. "Take care."

They both replied and soon were cycling off to school. As they did Eric broke the silence.

"So, what exactly kept you so long?" He asked knowingly.

Otis groaned. "Eric, please, it's-"

"No I'm serious." Eric cut in quick. "All your mum said was you had something to take care of before you came down. I just...put the rest together from that."

"Eric look, it wasn't anything like that, okay just...I don't know what you think mum was saying, but it wasn't." Otis insisted.

"Alright, alright." Eric replied, then, after a pause, added. "So, just the stiffie then?"

"ERIC!"
