Back in the classroom the new students were chatting about what had just happened. Bakugo, who had stormed off, still wasn't back and Midoriya was getting worried for him. As he sat at his desk Uraraka was sitting top of her desk facing Midoriya and Ida stood beside her with his arms crossed.

"I wonder why your friend stormed off." Uraraka said to the green haired boy who was lost in thought until she spoke. He laid both arms on his desk as he sighed.

"Ka-chan doesn't like people besting him, he's always been that way since we were kids..." he informed his two new friends. Bakugo's behaviour was still new to them but they had seen a few of his outbursts in the few hours they'd known him so they kind of understood. Midoriya still wondered why he took it so bad. He's usually explode in a rage and compete further, but not this time. The door slid open and their homeroom teacher walked in and the room went immediately quiet with everyone running to their seats.

"After that mediocre display of ability from most of you I'll begin the briefing of your studies so pay attention." Aizawa sheepishly told the students as he turned to write on the board.

Mina, the very pink girl from earlier looked around the room and put her hand up in the air but did not wait form approval to speak. "Sir! Ashley isn't here yet. Is she not joining?" she asked. It was obvious that she and the red haired boy who sat diagonally from her knew the special student they had all met that morning.

Aizawa stopped writing but didn't turn to face the students. After a brief moment of silence he spoke, "She's doing a few jobs today and won't be joining. Her course of study is slightly different from all of yours but it was agreed this would be best from her to experience a more "normal" learning environment. So no more questions, got it."

Mina gulped and looked toward her red headed friend and gave him a worried look. He turned to look out the window and worry was also very present on his face. His worried thoughts were interrupted by the sound of the door slamming open. The whole class turned to see Bakugo with a sour expression on his face.

Aizawa once again did not turn when he spoke, "Are you done?" he ask rhetorically as if he was talking to a child after a temper tantrum, which technically is what Bakugo had displayed. Bakugo didn't speak a word, instead he let out an annoyed "tsk" sound and with both hands in his pocket he stomped to his seat where he would be silent for the rest of the day.

Their homeroom teacher sighed before continuing, "So as you know, you'll be living on campus during the week and going home on the weekends. This means there are a set of rules..." He went on for hours explaining the rules, processes and schedule for the young heroes' first year at UA.

The day moved relatively quickly and it was time for the student to sort out their dorm rooms. The excitement in the dorm was undeniable, for most of these 15/16 year olds it was the first time away from family, their first taste of independence. They were all in the common area after unpacking their belongings in their rooms chatting away about the excitement of becoming heroes.

"What I want to know is how you know that crazy cute girl from earlier." Kaminari nudged Kirishima with a devilish grin. This attracted the attention of the group and they all listened in.

"What, Ashley?" he started. "We went to school together for a lil when we were kids then we just stayed friends when she left." he explained.

"Why did she leave school?" Sero asked. The second he asked that both Kirishima and Mina looked nervous to go on.

"Ash is... different... I guess..." Mina started but didn't know if she should go ahead.

"Well I'll take different over boring any day." a voice called from the doorway. The class all turned to see the same blonde girl they had met earlier and were currently speaking about. She removed her shoes at the entrance and made her way to the couches where her new classmates were gathered.

"Definitely never boring" Mina commented running to hug her friend with beaming smile. They laughed lightly and as Mina let go of her friend Ashley gave the room a scan. He's not here, she thought. Giving the room a further scan she noticed Bakugo in the corner with his headphones in, reading a comic. Typical, she thought. In the quickest manner ever possible the two exchanged the shortest moment of eye contact before Bakugo snarled and returned to his comic. Ashley sighed deciding to give up on him for the day.

She and Mina went to sit near Kirishima as the rest of the class was burning with questions for the special student. She sensed all of it and knew she had to speak before they started asking a millions questions she could not answer. She sighed before starting.

"I know you must all have questions...but before you ask them I'll just tell you what I can..." she started, her tone carried a soft laugh but her face showed a mix of nerves and seriousness. This drew her classmates in further. "I should probably start with the big one... and that's..." she hesitated, in fear of how they would all react. "...that I already hold a full hero license..." she managed to squeeze out, just loud enough for them to hear.

A large gasp filled the room as all the first-year students, expect Mina, Kirishima and Bakugo (who was still plugged into his earphones) were in complete shock. "WHAT?!" they all shouted. Ashley let out a small chuckle knowing their reaction was going to be similar to this.

"But you're like our age!" Uraraka noted.

Ashley nodded knowing more questions would come, but she got back in there before they could start. "I've had... a different upbringing than most...I've held my license since I was 12..." she continued but was soon interrupted by more curious questions.

"But why are you at UA if you already have a license?!" Kaminari asked, just fully confused by the situation. She could tell everyone else was.

She sighed once again, knowing this was going to be difficult to explain without the "secret" stuff she wasn't allowed to talk about. "I missed a lot... training the way I did... everyone though I would benefit from a few years back in normal education... before things... get complicated..." she explained. Her classmates still showed confusion but this was all she could mention so far. "I'm sorry, that's all I can really say..." she added seeming frustrated with herself as she looked down at her hands which were placed on her lap. She was taken out of her thoughts by the feeling of a hand on her shoulder. To her right, Kirishima was looking at her and gave her a reassuring nod as if to say it was ok. Ashley smiled at her friend before looking back at the group.

"But it's all fine! It's going to be a great year and I'm sure everyone will learn loads." she told the group. She was met by a sea of small smiles which seemed to agree with her.

"Pfft", the sound came from the corner where Bakugo had been isolating himself. The whole room turned to see he's gotten up and started walking passed them and to the door. "We're not here to sing kumbaya around a fire pit..." he started spitting out, seeming very angry but trying to contain his quirk from destroying everything. Ashley looked directly at him, an internal conflict seeming to brew her expression went from a smile to a serious and frustration toward the boy. "...and I am definitely not here to be trained by the likes of you." the words came out of him like knives stabbing at her with every syllable.

She couldn't take the attitude any longer. She stood up from the couch, darting her eyes at him. "If you have an issue with the school's decisions you can take it up with them but don't go blaming me for this." she said trying not to shout in front of all her new classmates. Her voice showed her hurt and anger. What confused the class was why they both seemed so bothered by one another.

"Oh like you're not to blame for any of it?" Bakugo spat back at him, he was going to give her another smart-ass comment but she stopped him.

"Oh get over yourself, Katsuki!" she shouted, unable to contain herself. He turned to her shocked and angry. The class froze in shock. She had used his first name which meant...

"You guys know each other...?" Jirou asked in a hushed voice, scared to break the seconds of silence that had preceded.

"NO."

"Yes." Ashley interjected Bakugo's blunt response. He locked eyes with her. Don't you dare. Her face determined and matched her challenging tone. Don't.

Kirishima looked at his friend, knowing what was about to happen. Crap.

Ashley crossed her arms and shifted her weight to her left leg, presenting a sassy attitude toward the blonde boy. "He's my brother." she finally revealed.

The room went silent with shock. Eye wide and mouthes gaping. Bakugo was about to snap. BITCH.

She'd done it now so might as well end with the cherry on top, "Twin brother."

So this is when the story starts to pick up. Todoroki content will beging from the next chapter and he is one of the main characters so be patient, the time will come. x
