The next morning, it wasn't the soft sunlight coming through the curtains that woke Ashley up. It was an annoying small sound coming from the window that stirred her awake. She groaned, not wanting to be woken up which was quiet out of character for her, and her eyes fluttered open. The first thing she saw was the bare chest she had been sleeping curled against, and then she remember. She shot up with wide eyes looking at the boy laying beside her, last night seemed like a dream to her. She looked at herself and noticed she was still in her vest and underwear and she noticed the boy beside her still wore bottoms. She sighed in relief, remembering they hadn't actually slept together.

Her attention was taken away once the small annoying sound started up again, noticing it was something hitting the window she slipped out of bed and walked over to the window confused. She looked down and saw Kirishima throwing small stones at her window. Still looking confused she reached down to lift her window open, "What are you doing?" she asked.

Kirishima put his hands on his sides, "You have the debrief on the attack, remember? I said I'd take you." he reminded her. Then she remembered.

"Oh shit. Ok, I'll be ready in 5." she called down at him.

"Cool, I'll wait in the living room." he told her turning to walk into the house.

Crap. She thought, remembering of the half naked boy in her bed. "NO." she shouted in a panic which caught the red haired boy off guard and he looked at her confused. "I-I'll only be a minute, wait right there." She panicked before closing the window, turning around she came face to face with the same bare chest she had woke up to. She moved her eyes up to she a slightly blushing Todoroki meeting her gaze.

"I-I-I need to go... I have a meeting about yesterday." She whispered, as if Kirishima could hear her if she spoke any louder, never taking her eyes away from his. He, keeping his eyes with hers nodded still not saying a word.

She didn't want to leave, she wanted to go back to bed and just lay there in silence with him, holding her. She snapped out of it, knowing if she took too long her friends downstairs would 1probably come check on her. She looked around for clothes noticing the mess they had made last night. She picked up a long sleeved white top and some leggings and ran to her door, before leaving her room she turned to the boy who was slipping his t-shirt on by her bed.

"I...I'll see you later, ok?" she said to him, annoyed that she had to go and leave him.

He looked back at her and nodded; he knew she had work to do, but it sucked. "I'll lock the door." he told her. She nodded, trying to convince herself to not freak out and she left her room. He could hear her running down the stairs, tripping up while she got dressed. He heard he bang into the cabinet at the bottom of the stairs and a faint "Ow." was heard. He smiled at her clumsiness. Then he remembered he probably had to get moving; he hadn't told his sibling where her was, not that he was going to tell them the truth, so he had to get back home before they realised he never came home. Downstairs the sound of the door opening and closing, followed by the faint sound of voices and steps outside made him walk over to the window. He caught the two teens talking and walking away, Ashley still looking a little shaken and embarrassed. He smiled softy as he watched her walk away but when she turned the corner his smile faded and he sighed to himself, "Inconvenient...".

Kirishima waited outside the main school building where the meeting about the attack was being held. Ashley had been inside for over 2 hours, he knew it was going to be a long one and he knew his friend would need support after. The doors to the building opened and he saw a few of the pro hero teachers exit looking tired and indifferent. As he tried to look through the people for the blonde hair and red eyes he found a pair of cold deep blue eyes coming through the door. Kirishima gulpped as he saw the number 2 hero walk out of the building and pass him without saying a word or looking at the young hero.

"Eeeshhh..." Kirishima muttered, "I see where he gets it from...". He saw the same coldness that his classmate had. He then thought of how that coldness didn't seem to apply to Ashley. He had grown up watching the two not speak a word to each other as kids and now he's checking in on her and walking her home apparently, weird.

"Hey." he heard Ashley's voice behind him which made him turn around and smile at her. She put her hand up right away stopping him from talking. "Don't want to talk about it right now..." she said to him looking at the floor. She didn't want to talk about the 2 hours of adults telling her she acted recklessly and without authorisation from the commission. There was something she couldn't stop thing about though...

In the meeting, an hour ago...

After All Might recapped the previous day's events. Ashley hadn't said a word the whole time, giving only nods and shakes at questions directed at her, Midnight turned to the silent girl beside her with a worried expression.

"Hey... what's wrong?" she whispered to her. The girl just shook her head trying to ignore her feelings and thoughts. The meeting was going to come to an end with Ashley's punishment only being extra hours at the commission, which is what was expected. They can't afford to lose one of there best agents.

"With that all that said, unless there is something else to be said, we can call it a day and call students back in on Monday when Eraserhead will be discharged. So anything else?" Principle Nezu asked out to the mix of pro heroes and teachers. The people present were all the teachers for the hero program and most of the top ten heroes. When Ashley slid her hand up to ask permission to ask she could feel all the gazes in the room pointing at her as she continued to look at the table in front of her.

"Ashley." Nezu said, allowing her to speak. She remained in silent for a while longer, her internal monologue impeding her to speak out of fear and nerves.

She took a deep breathe and continued to look at the table, "There was a man... right at the end...he..." she started but seemed to struggle with what she was trying to tell them. Midnight and Present Mic looked at the young girl with concern, they hadn't seen this side of her since she was a child. Ashley gulped before she went on, "...I only saw him for a second...but I'm certain that's the same man who attacked my family ten years ago." she revealed. Everyone's eyes widened knowing exactly what she was referring to. Midnight froze and looked at Present Mic who sat across from her and Ashley.

"I'm pretty sure he was there for me." she added causing the heroes to break out into mutters all around. Midnight just looked at the girl, full of worry; she deserved so much better.

Through the commotion Nezu tried to speak above all the voices, "Are you sure it was him?" he asked her, causing all the voices to die down to hear what the girl had to say. She nodded slowly, her face showing how this had affected her, she had been brought back to that night.

"I have only felt that amount of evil and just... destruction once before... I'm pretty sure he was there for me." she responded, looking up finally to meet the principle's gaze. He leaned back in his chair and his whole deminer changed, this fact changed everything.

"Ok, so this changes things...a lot." he said trying to think of the best course of action.

Across the room and the end of the table a muttered grunt was heard, "Why are we listening and taking a hysterical child's words as gospel?" the cold harsh voice could send chills down anyone's skin. She knew the voice without even looking. Endeavor, the number 2 hero; and the father of the boy she'd just spent the night with. Ashley had dealt with him on several occasions on missions, and even though he knew about all of the aspects of her quirk he never held back.

She smiled to herself sarcastically as she looked down at the table again, "You know, it's funny you should say that..." she started and Midnight immediately looked at her knowing she was about to say something she might regret later. Don't. "...cause I haven't been a child for a very long time..." she continued and lifted her gaze to look at him directly when she delivered her last comment. "...You should know the type." She really wanted him to know that she knew a lot more than she ever let on about his family, and he almost got it. A couple of the younger heroes snickered at the girl's brave comment and this enraged the larger fire hero. He smashed his fist onto the table scaring all the heroes in the room apart from the one person it was meant to. Ashley just stared at him, with the slightest bit of sarcastic pity in her expression.

Nezu tried to control the situation from bursting as he watched the two exchange looks. "Ok ok, we need to work this out... Ashley, please tell us all you can and until we have a clearer idea of this man's location and Eraserhead is back you'll be placed under 24 hour protection." he explained. Ashley looked back at the small animal-like principle and nodded. They spent the next hour going through the little information they had.

Back to the present...

"I just want to get out of here." she turned to her friend almost pleading.

Kirishima nodded at her, worried for her but knowing that she would speak when she was ready. "Where do you wanna go?" he asked her.

Ahley placed her hands on her waist and looked out to the road, "Just anywhere, I just don't want to be here..." she said reaching for her hair to pull it up in a ponytail. Kirishima's gaze was taken awat from her eyes to her neck and his eyes widened.

"WHAT. IS. THAT?" he asked pointing at the very faint but clear hickey on the back of the girl's neck. Ashley turned to her friend confused as to what he was referring to, then she remembered. She slapped her hand to cover it and panicked. "What in the world did you get up to?!" Kirishima asked her a little too loud which made her hit him and pull him away into a corner between the steps and the building walls.

"Will you shut up! He will hear you." she whispered in an angry hushed tone trying to get him to shut up. Kirishima's confusion only grew.

"He who?" he questioned her. Her gaze left him for a split second but long enough for him to noticed she had done a take at the number 2 hero at the end on the path. Kirishima started to connect the dots as he turned back to his friend who was blushing fiercely. "Endeavor? Why would you be worr- OH MY GOD!" he figured it out. Ashley hid her mortified face from him as she knew what was coming. "You hooked up with Mr moody? HA!" he exclaimed. Ashley turned back to slap him on the arm to get him to be quiet.

"Will you shut up! It's not like we had sex ok?" she cleared, her friend didn't believe her so he looked at her cocking his eyebrows up at her. Ashley let out a frustrated sigh, "Okay things happened yes, but I am not talking about my sex life with you right now!" she told him. All he could do was laugh at his friend's clumsiness in the revelation.

"Ha! You have a sex life now?!" he sarcastically asked her.

Ashley was getting really annoyed now, "Kiri!" she yelled at him.

"Ashley!" he exclaimed in disbelief.

"Please, just stop. I don't want to talk about anything that happened in the last 24 hours. I just want to get away and forget it all just for a bit." she implored him. He was so ready to tease and question her about but he knew she had been through a lot.

"Ok ok fine. Just one question though..." he started.

Ashley was ready for some really intrusive question on the events of last night but she let him go on.

"Are you ok?" he asked her. She wasn't expecting that at all, and this was the first time she had the time to actually process everything but the answer came to her easily.

"Yeah I am." she told him, smiling shyly.

"Then that's all I need to know... for now." he smirked at her, teasing her.

Ashley rolled her eyes at him before grabbing his wrist and dragging him away towards the town, "Ok that's it, let's go!" she said pulling him away toward her needed distraction.
