Angela was satisfied, well almost. Nina and her mother had come over to discuss Ninas and Frankies wedding. It was still a while away of course but wasn't it important to already start the preparation for such an important event early?

Nina still tried to hold them back, but Angela had found a kindred spirit in Ninas mother when it came to discussing flower arrangements and food.

"I'm really glad that you're here." She told the other matriarch who nodded.

"Thank you for the invitation, Angela. It's nice that we get to know each other better before the wedding." Ninas mum said.

"Right? I'm really happy that Frankie found such a talented and sweet fiancé like Nina. He is really lucky." Angela replied over her cup of coffee and both continued their conversation as if Nina wasn't there.

"At least one of my kids is finally getting married." Angela added with furrowed eyebrows.

"What about Jane and Tommy?" the other matriarch asked before taking a bite from the blueberry muffins that Angela had baked for the occasion. She moaned slightly which would have delighted Angela if she hadn't been focused on Janes and Tommys love life – or better said the lack of their love life.

"I don't know about Tommy, but he is still young. I'm more worried about Jane." She muttered under her breath and Ninas mum raised an eyebrow.

"But I thought that she was in a relationship with Dr. Isles." She replied and Angela shook her head vehemently.

"No, you would think so because I have never seen a pair that was more in love after Frankie and Nina than them. But somehow, they just don't see it. It's so annoying!" Angela said and the other matriarch nodded.

"Maybe you should make them see it then." She stated, taking another bite.

"I already tried every trick in the book." Angela replied while her hands absentmindedly fidgeted with her mug. "You wouldn't believe the things that I have already done, but they are so oblivious to their feelings that nothing works." The elder Rizzoli gave a dramatic sigh, not catching the warning glare that Nina shot to her mother.

"Well, have you tried a spell?" her mother said, ignoring her daughter completely.

"A spell? No, I wouldn't know how to do it. Does it work?" Angela sounded very interested and her face lit up.

"No, and witch craft isn't a good idea." Nina interrupted their conversation.

"Why not?" Angela asked. "I mean you see it too, right? They are always dancing around the elephant in the room. They are even sharing a bed on movie nights." The Rizzoli matriarch threw in.

Nina narrowed her eyes as if to ask how Angela could possibly know that but then again, she recalled how curious Angela could be and refrained from commenting on that. Instead, she pointed out, that it was none of their business what Jane and Maura did or didn't do.

"I beg to differ." Her mother said. "If they are in love, we should help them to recognize it. The witch craft might or might not have an effect, but its worth a try, don't you think so?" she asked and Angela nodded.

"If you know how to do it…" her voice trailed off while sounding hopeful and Nina rolled her eyes. "Okay, I'm out. I don't want to have any part in this." She said, grabbing her keys and getting ready to leave. She was almost annoyed when the 2 matriarchs didn't even tell her goodbye as they were already thinking of a plan. The only thing Nina was thinking about when she drove to the precinct was if she should tell Jane or Maura or both. But assuming that the spell wouldn't work anyways she decided not to.

R&I

"So, how are we going to do it?" Angela asked after Nina had left.

"It shouldn't be that hard." Ninas mother stated, spotting a mistletoe hung over the door to the living room. "It's Christmas soon anyways. We are going to put a spell onto this mistletoe and make them kiss each other underneath it. The spell should make them realize their true feelings for each other."

"That's all?" Angela asked and Ninas mother nodded.

"But they've never kissed under the mistletoe. It's not going to be so easy to convince them to do so without getting my Janie suspicious." Angelas face faltered slightly.

"Unless we tell Nina about our plans and tell her not to spill the beans. Then Janie will be challenged to proof me wrong." Her face lit up at her own brilliant idea.

"Sounds good. We also have the possibility to set a good example and kiss each other under the mistletoe." Ninas mother winked. Angela had invited her to the Christmas dinner as she was considered to be family now. "Just a kiss on the cheek." Ninas mother said when seeing Angelas scared expression.

"Oh, well, that sounds like a good plan." She replied.

"Why don't I go and get the mistletoe while you prepare us something to celebrate our ideas?" the other matriarch suggested, and Angela was game. She was curious about the spell that would finally lead to Jane and Mauras happiness.

The fact that Ninas mum was looking for the spell on the internet made her doubt its efficiency though. Maybe she had been wrong about the other matriarchs' witchcraft she thought as she took a sip from her wine while waiting for her partner in crime to find the right spell.

Ninas mum threw her a conspirative look when she had finally found what she had been looking for.

"This is going to work. I have a good feeling about it." She informed Angela whose mistrust grew. What if things went wrong and the spell made Jane end up beeing single for the rest of her life?

Well, she could always exchange the mistletoe, she mused. The party was still two days away, so she had plenty of time to think about it. First, she would try her luck with Nina. Hoping that her future daughter in law would let Jane know about her mothers' plan. Jane would be triggered for sure and kiss Maura, even if it was a kiss on the cheek which according to Ninas mum would be enough to make the blind see what they were not seeing.

"So, its very easy. We just must light a candle and put our hands over the mistletoe and say the spell. While doing so we need to visualize both girls living their happily ever after." Ninas mum explained. "Then we sprinkle it with a little bit of wine and we should be good."

Okay, that sounded easy enough and not dangerous at all. Angela joined the other matriarchs chanting, visualizing Jane and Maura being together happily for the rest of their life. Then they both sprinkled a bit of wine onto the mistletoe and Angela put it back to its place.

"It's not going to bewitch someone else?" she cautiously asked, thinking about all sorts of people who were eager to kiss under the mistletoe – people that shouldn't be together for sure.

"No, the spell should only apply for Jane and Maura." Ninas mum assured her before toasting to their great plan.
