Prologue
A/N- I know that I should continue with one of my existing stories but this trope was too good to pass up. I have recently started reading Twilight so I might mess up some names. Please don't be angry. I'll do my hardest to avoid such mistakes.
WARNING- If you don't like BELLA BASHING then this is not the story for you. If you don't like WEASELY, GRANGER, DUMBLEDORE BASHING then this is not the story for you. If you don't like DARK HARRY then this is not the story for you. If you don't like SEER LUNA then this is not the story for you. If you don't like SANE VOLDEMORT AND BELLATRIX then this is not the story for you. If you don't like GRAPHIC DEPICTIONS OF VIOLENCE then this is not the story for you.
A NOTE- This story is inspired by 'Dark Repercussions' by 'Jessiikaa15' and 'Darkest Night' by 'DebsTheSlytherinSnapefan'. So, yeah...all thanks goes to them.
This is my first crossover of Harry Potter and Twilight. Of course, many things are going to be AU. So, if something in the story doesn't fit in with Harry Potter or Twilight canon then just think that it is fanon for this story. Thank you.
Harry was roaming around in Grimmauld Place. It seemed even more lifeless and dreary now that his godfather was dead. He flinched at the thought and then mentally berated him for flinching. Death was a part of life, he reminded himself. Everyone dies. But that didn't seem to soothe his pain. What was even more heart-wrenching was that it was because of him that his godfather was dead. Sure, Dumbledore had told him that it was Dumbledore's fault but still. If he had just learned Occlumency. If he had just listened to Hermione. If he had just opened Sirius' gift then nothing like this would have happened. Sirius would have been here, arguing with Dumbledore to keep Harry with him. He would be telling him stories about the Marauders' various mischiefs and his father's ways to have Lily go on a date with him. Remus would be berating Sirius for using 'inappropriate language' in front of Harry- not locked up in his room mourning for his dead friend and lover.
Harry shook his head to free himself of his delusions. It was no point dwelling over what-ifs. Sirius was dead. He was not coming back. He would never come back. There was no power to raise the Dead. He would have to get over it. Sirius wouldn't have wanted Harry to mourn over him. Besides, what was done was done. You couldn't change the past. Ok. You could, but all the time-turners were destroyed in 'the Battle of the Department of Mysteries' as the Daily Prophet had started to call it.
Harry passed Mrs. Weasley in the kitchen fussing over the day's dinner no doubt. He was currently under his Invisibility Cloak. Honestly, after Voldemort showed himself in the Ministry of Magic, the Order of the Phoenix have been keeping a near constant watch on Harry. He couldn't even use the loo without one person standing in front of the door. It was as if Voldemort would suddenly appear out of thin air in front of Harry and then proceed to kill him. Harry scoffed at the thought. Voldemort shows up and the Order starts running around like headless chickens. Did they all forget that the house was heavily protected by not only the notorious Black Family Magick but also Dumbledore's Fidelius Charm? No-one could get inside the house unless they were given the address by Dumbledore.
Harry followed further down the hall intending to go to the Library. Yep. The Black Family Library. No-one could open it since it only opened to the blood of either the Lord or the Heir. The blood thing was a one-time thing. After that, the Lord or Heir (whosoever's blood is used) would have to key in the people who he gives permission to enter the Library. Of course, the person can also un-key the invited person anytime. The most awesome part was that the Lord or Heir had to key in people in their right mind- meaning no spells/potions. When Sirius was alive, he had shown Harry the place. He had also trained Harry but made Harry promise him that he would not key in any of his friends or even give any indication that he had access to the Library and/or he was receiving training from Sirius. Harry had agreed.
But, before he could reach the Library, he heard familiar voices from a room. Feeling curious, Harry used the 'Listening Charm' that Sirius had taught him.
What he heard, changed him entirely-
"With the mutt out of the way, Potter will once again become dependent. We just need to get the wolf out of the way." Dumbledore said.
"Of course. We could just kill him and make it look as if it was a DeathEater raid? Or we could just send him to one of the more vicious wolf packs and let himself be killed?" Hermione asked.
"Hmm. We could do that Ms. Granger. But, first of all- are you both keeping tabs on Potter?" Dumbledore enquired, stroking his beard.
"Yeah. I brought up the mutt's death and he nearly shouted at me! Also, Ginny told me that Potter didn't speak to her and asked her to go away when she tried to talk to her." Ron exclaimed.
"Maybe we need to give him more Obedience, Loyalty and Love potions?" Hermione suggested.
"Yes. It would seem so. Mr. Weasley, please ask your mother to stock up on Obedience, Loyalty and Love Potions." Dumbledore ordered.
Ron, being ever the lapdog instantly replied- "of course Professor."
"You both have to distract him from studying. If you are able to do that successfully, then I will increase your payment." Dumbledore said.
"Of course, sir. And sir, may I ask that why Potter is staying here? I mean that shouldn't he go to the Dursleys?" Hermione asked.
"He should. But, unfortunately the Dursleys are dead- not that Potter knows it. Also, it will be easier for us to make him submissive because the house is a constant reminder how he failed the mutt." Dumbledore said in all his wisdom and, of course neither of them objected.
Harry was in shock. What had he just heard? Was this the reason why Sirius had practically forbidden Harry to speak of their lessons? Harry was angry. He thought that Mrs. Weasley had fought with Dumbledore to let him stay here. Never in his wildest dreams would he have thought that his two best (and only he realized with a shock) friends would backstab him for what? Money for Ron and books for Hermione? Was he worth so little? Harry shook his head. This was not the time to think all of this. He would have to go to someone who would not sell him out to Dumbledore. Someone who would tell him the true ideals of the Dark Side. But...who will that be? After thinking for a couple of minutes, he figured out the perfect person to go to. The only person in the Order who knew perfectly well of the ideals of the Dark. Because, he himself is a DeathEater.
Unbeknownst to him, when he heard all of that, something fragile inside him snapped completely. He wouldn't realize until much later that this 'something' was his innocence. The kind-hearted, submissive, having a hero-complex Harry Potter was gone. Instead, he was replaced by a Dark, not-so-forgiving person.
Harry Potter's betrayers, watch your backs. You never know when he will come after you.
In her room, Luna Lovegood was suddenly assaulted with a vision. A vision of Harry.
It was a battlefield. There was blood and corpses everywhere. A man in his twenties with shoulder-length raven-black hair and blood-red eyes (let's not forget the aristocratic features) and a man not much older than 16 was dueling the Headmaster who looked worse for wear.
Finally, the boy who had a hood on his face so that no-one could see him slashed through the air and got a lucky shot at Dumbledore's left ankle. Dumbledore fell unceremoniously.
"You will never win, Tom" Dumbledore said to the red-eyed, black-haired man.
Tom laughed.
"I have already won, Professor." he answered.
"Never. Who is this boy, Tom? A toy for you to play with?" Dumbledore asked trying to make Tom lose his temper.
But, it wasn't Tom who lost his temper. It was the boy.
"Be careful with what you say, Dumbledore. A flick of my wand and you would be dead in the most painful way imaginable." the boy said.
"Who are you, m'boy?" Dumbledore asked. Tom simply watched from the sidelines, amused.
"Oh, I think you know me very well, Headmaster." the boy replied.
"I am afraid that I don't." Dumbledore replied.
The boy cackled. It wasn't a nice sound. It was rather like Bellatrix Lestrange when she tortured someone.
"I'm pretty sure you do know me. Remember when you tried to manipulate a boy? How you tried to make him your weapon? Remember how you killed one of his guardians and planned to kill the other? Remember when you spelled him to do things he never wanted to do? Remember Headmaster. Remember..." the boy said.
Dumbledore's face grew paler and paler with every word spoken. He resembled a ghost. Then he started to speak-
Luna was suddenly pulled out of the vision. She frowned slightly then decided that Fate must have decided not to divulge this information. Luna had a hunch that it might be about someone she knew and loved like a brother. Luna decided that she would go digging. After all, she liked facts and did not like it when she didn't know something. And, if Dumbledore had tried to hurt or manipulate her brother-in-all-but-blood then she would show Dumbledore that why exactly no-one should underestimate her. After all, Bellatrix Lestrange was her cousin (1).
In a rather posh and open house in a quite city of Forks, Alice Cullen was comforting her brother- Edward. Esme ran her fingers through his hair while Carlisle spoke comforting words. Jasper tried to take away some of Edward's pain but the pain was so much that he almost fell back. Emmett had took off for the park on his own for hunting after promising everyone that he would not go near Bella. Rosalie's perfect face was marred by a frown. She hated seeing any of her family members like this. Rosalie knew that the Swan girl would not be good for her brother but Edward didn't listen, too enamored by her.
The only thing they had gotten out of him was that he had seen Bella and that werewolf Black together. While this wouldn't be so much of a problem (Jacob was Bella's friend, or so she told everyone), the fact that Edward was holding Bella's engagement ring and doing the vampire equivalent of crying, it told them that they were doing something they were not supposed to.
"I'm sorry, Edward." Alice said softly. She hated seeing her brother in pain. Even more, she hated the fact that she didn't see anything like this would be happening.
"It's okay, Alice. You didn't know. Besides, that girl would have done it anyways." Edward almost growled out the last part. But, deep down he still loved Bella. If not for his family, he would be in Volterra asking Aro to kill him.
Alice was about to say something, but she was cut off by a vision.
Edward had his hands wrapped around a lithe boy with aristocratic features, shoulder-length raven black hair and an abnormal shade of green eyes. They were talking about something and laughing. The boy was utterly at ease with Edward holding him. Suddenly, Edward swooped down and caught the boy's lips in a passionate kiss to which the boy responded very eagerly.
"I love you, Harry." Edward murmured into Harry's ear.
Harry closed his eyes and said- "I love you too, Edward."
Alice came out of the trance and started grinning. Everyone, even Edward saw her face and asked at once- "what did you see?"
"Your true mate! Oh, Edward. He's awesome, even Rosalie will love him. But, you will need to wait though." Alice said.
Everyone (Emmett had come back a few minutes ago) was happy. Neither of them wanted to see their youngest son/brother sinking into depression. Rosalie was curious. A boy who would win even her heart? There hadn't been one outside of her family ever since she turned into a vampire. But, if Alice says then it should be true. She had learned not to bet against Alice by now.
Esme was worried and she voiced it by saying- "will this boy truly love Edward or will he turn out like that girl?" She put so much derision in the word 'girl' that everyone (except Alice) was shocked.
"Nope! He will stay true until the very end." Alice said, still grinning.
Edward's mood lightened a bit. He asked- "when will I be able to see him?"
"In about a year or so." came Alice's reply.
Edward groaned. Carlisle said- "why don't we spend this year in Alaska instead? We will come back in a year."
Everyone nodded to show it was ok.
Edward smiled a bit as he saw his family packing. Just one year, he thought, just one year and then I will have my true mate. Not a bitch like Isabella Marie Swan.
A/N- Did you love it? Like it? Or just hated it? Please let me know in the review.
1) In this story, Pandora Lovegood is actually Pandora Rosier- younger sister of Druella Rosier, older sister of Evan Rosier. Druella Rosier married Cygnus Black and had three girls- Bellatrix, Andromeda and Narcissa. So, Bellatrix is Luna's mother's sister's daughter; ergo, her cousin.
