Kobayashi had never considered herself to be a particularly affectionate person. She didn't know why, exactly. It was just hard for her to open up to people. When someone started to get closer, she pushed them away and gave them the cold shoulder. It wasn't as if she didn't want companionship. The part of her that got weepy when she was drunk disproved that. And yet, she never found it in herself to be very upfront with her feelings. It wasn't something she thought much about before, although she'd been paying it more attention of late.

It had been one year since a fire-breathing dragon dive-bombed onto Kobayashi's front step and into her life. While she had once been alone in her apartment, things were very different now. Along with Tohru's intrusion came a whirlwind of new experiences and new feelings. Oftentimes she was left with her heart pounding and her head spinning, for both good and bad reasons. Even still, she retained her stoicism through almost all of it. It wasn't until she finally began to settle into the new way of things that an incompatibility made itself known. As it turned out, there were drawbacks to constantly keeping your thoughts to yourself, and it almost ended up costing her all of the joy she'd recently come into. She'd since come to find more value in emotional honesty.

She did her best to find ways to make her attachments known. She greeted her family every evening when she came home. She was gracious whenever Tohru helped at home and picked up some chores so that the maid would have time to rest. She sometimes surprised her girls with treats and presents she thought suited them and she made more time for them in her busy work schedule. It was a fair step beyond where she was before, but still a work in progress in many could still only hope that her message was getting across. As long as there was ambiguity, she wasn't content quite yet.

Thankfully, there was surely no better occasion than their anniversary to pull herself together and plan something special. (The sentimental reptile was no doubt keeping track of the date herself.) There was a lot about her feelings Kobayashi had yet to understand. It was intimidating and a little frightening, but there were a couple things that had made themselves clear enough to her. She wanted Tohru here with her, and she wanted her to know how important she was to her.

And so, here she was. The day was drawing to a close, and Kobayashi was rushing around the apartment anxiously. In place of her usual business formal attire, she donned a more stylish get up: a dark suit with a matching bow tie… or that's what she would be wearing if she could find her jacket. She skipped from room to room, taking care of last-minute preparations and muttering under her breath. Through some simple negotiation, she had organized for Kanna to spend the night at her friend Saikawa's. It shouldn't really have been necessary to collude with the child, but Kanna was a perceptive girl. Instead of listening to the dragonling's insincere accusations of perversion, Kobayashi thought it was easier just to bribe her. (And it was.)

That was where Tohru was right now, or more accurately, that was where Tohru was probably on her way back from right now, which put Kobayashi on an ever-decreasing timer as she tried to think of anything else she was missing. Everything had seemed so much simpler in her head, but now she felt overwhelmed and inexperienced. It wouldn't surprise anyone to know that Kobayashi had been living that bachelorette's lifestyle for quite a while. As Tohru's arrival drew nearer, panic built up within her. She started to consider whether it might just be better to scrap the whole thing and do something else when she heard the jangle of keys outside. In a last minute surge of adrenaline, Kobayashi suddenly remembered where her jacket was and swung it on. She snatched a gift off the counter and stood before the front entrance just in time for Tohru to come in.

There was a faint click as the door opened. Tohru stepped in with her eyes on the ground, slipping her shoes off before shutting the door quietly behind her. Tohru moved with practiced grace, so used to the motions she didn't see Kobayashi waiting for her. It wasn't until she was setting her bag down that she noticed the dimness of the room. Her gaze wandered curiously until they fell on Kobayashi, looking far more put together than usual. The human's nerves hadn't settled the least bit in the past few seconds. Even still, she held herself together and smiled shyly, "Welcome home, Tohru."

Thankfully the dragoness didn't notice the slight quiver in her voice, too distracted by everything else around her. Only waiting a moment, Kobayashi pulled her hands out from behind her back and presented Tohru with a modest bouquet of white camellias. Her face softened, and with a gentle voice she continued, "Happy anniversary."

Tohru stared at the gift, eyes wide with surprise. It took her a few seconds to process what was happening before she broke into a wide grin that finally relieved Kobayashi's anxiety. In a flash, the dragon bounced forward and picked Kobayashi up into a bone-crushing hug. She would have crushed the flowers as well had Kobayashi not had the foresight to get them out of the way. Ordinarily, the human might chastise her for being too excited, but tonight was an exception. "Happy anniversary, Miss Kobayashi!" she giggled. Carefully, she put her mistress back on the ground and accepted the flowers delicately. "I, uh, didn't think you'd noticed," she admitted timidly.

It hurt a little to hear herself thought of that way. She couldn't say it wasn't entirely justified, but that was what she wanted to change. "I notice more than you think." she mumbled, having to turn and look away. What exactly Kobayashi meant was a little unclear, but it was enough to bring a light blush to Tohru's cheeks. A flustered silence settled between the two until Kobayashi pulled her thoughts back together. Determinedly, she reached out and gently took Tohru's hand into hers. "Come on." She gave a small squeeze of encouragement. "I have something planned for tonight." Tohru held onto her flowers with quiet anticipation as Kobayashi led her further into their home.

The apartment looked far different than Tohru had left it. Although the maid always kept things clean and orderly, it was clear their small living space had recently been picked up to look nicer. The room was gently illuminated by a series of small candles. Their dining table had been covered with a white cloth. On top were two table settings with a simple home-cooked meal. There was even a vase to the side for Tohru's bouquet. It wasn't anything crazy, just some small changes. But it somehow made the whole home feel different, more intimate, more personal. It was a moment in time just for them.

"It's not too much, but I thought it would be nice to have dinner together." As if they didn't always have dinner together. Ugh, she wasn't very good at this…

Kobayashi had considered taking Tohru to some high class restaurant, but in the end, she thought staying at home would be better. Out in the human world, Tohru always had trouble fitting in. She had to pretend to be something she wasn't and adding more etiquette and rules would only make things harder for her. She wanted her dragon to be comfortable. (Not to mention that taking Tohru to an expensive place was asking for disaster. She was lucky she was cute.)

Thankfully, it seemed like Kobayashi's set up had done more than enough to impress. Tohru's grip on her hand tightened affectionately. Her eyes sparkled in the candlelight. "It's lovely." She really did have the brightest smile. "Although, I admit that I feel a bit underdressed for the setting." Looking down, she flitted her skirt around with a sheepish chuckle. It was undeniable how adorable she was in her maid's uniform, but something more formal may be appropriate. Even Kobayashi was dressed up for the occasion and she rarely went out in more than her hoodie.

"Oh, would you prefer to go change?"

Caught off guard, Tohru questioned back, "You wouldn't mind waiting?"

"No, no!" She reached out for Tohru to hand her bouquet over, "Here, why don't I put these in some water while you get dressed."

Tohru was a bit reluctant to give the flowers up, but she trusted Kobayashi to take care of them. She then skipped off to the bedroom, throwing a wink behind her. "I'll only be a few minutes."

Kobayashi watched her slip behind the door. Her heart was beating terribly fast. For all the tension that came with changing part of a relationship, it was nice to remember that regardless of what they were to each other, Tohru was still Tohru. There was still comfort in that familiarity, and that at least wouldn't go away anytime soon. The human went to work carefully cutting the flower stems to a healthy length and placing them in a vase. By the time she finished, Tohru was ready to join her again. Magic and dragon scales did really speed up the process.

She stepped out in a brilliant ruby dress. A single strap hung off her right shoulder, flowing beautifully down the curves of her body into a skirt that swirled around her legs. Her blonde hair was pulled back into a simple bun. Its simplicity complemented her beautifully. It didn't take a lot to show off how stunning Tohru was. "Thank you for waiting. How is it?" She asked with a small curtsy.

Flustered, Kobayashi's words caught in her throat. She turned away, fidgeting with her hands nervously, and managed to express, "I think it looks good on you." Her honesty earned her an ecstatic beam and an exuberant wiggle of happiness. They were both still unused to this kind of attention. It put them into timid pauses, unsure what to say, but it was pleasant all the same. They glanced back at each other and caught the other's eyes. Before breaking into an awkward laughing fit until the tension eased. Being able to relate to each other's nervousness made things more approachable. Not that there was any reason to worry. It was just Tohru and Kobayashi.

Feeling increasingly at ease, Kobayashi pulled a chair out for her date. Tohru followed suit and accepted the offer with a "Thank you."

"I'm not quite the chef you are, but I thought you would enjoy a night off from cooking," she said, taking her seat. It was true the meal was a modest one: a single course of carbonara. Even on her laziest days, Tohru made up something much nicer, and yet from the joy on her face, you'd think it was the best she'd ever had.

"It's perfect, all of it." The candlelight flickered around her as she gazed around in wonder. Fire really did flatter her, making her hair sparkle and bringing out the warm colors of her eyes. Something about its wild beauty suited her. They were both as dangerous as they were delicate.

"I'm happy that you like it."

"I like everything you do, Miss Kobayashi."

"I know that's not true." She snickered. "You remind me to pick up after myself and not work myself to death often enough to prove that."

"Alright," Tohru lamented. "Well, I like almost everything you do, especially this. I can't say I really expected it. You're usually a little more… understated?"

"Yeah, well… we have a lot to celebrate." She held up a glass in toast.

With a blush and a cautious amount of restraint, Tohru clinked her glass against hers. It was something Kobayashi taught her to do during a party several months back. Unsurprisingly, she'd broken the glass her first time. The memory felt so long ago now. "It's hard to believe it's been a year."

Kobayashi hummed over her drink. "I guess a year isn't a very long period of time for you anyways, not out of centuries and milenia."

"No, it isn't," Tohru admitted. "But even among the years I've lived, this one seems like it flew by. You have a way of making time feel so fast, Miss Kobayashi."

"I know what you mean...Still, it's interesting to think about how much has changed. Sometimes it's hard to think you ever lived somewhere else"

"Thank you." She perked up proudly. "It took a lot of work, but I've clearly become the most incredible maid there is."

"Do you remember when you first arrived, and you started a feud with the delivery man because you thought he was a secret admirer coming to see me daily?"

Tohru deflated a little. "Yes, but how was I supposed to know humans relied on others for even the simplest jobs? And I still think it's very suspicious…"

"And there was the way you'd try to talk back to the recorded announcement that plays on the train."

"Human technology is strange. Dragons use spells to speak over great distances all the time…" she whined.

"And the time you saw a construction crane and tried to fight it because you thought it was a 'weird metal dragon encroaching on your territory,' as you put it."

"Senseless humans, needing to utilize such complicated machines!" She pouted angrily. "A dragon could construct dozens of buildings on their own with nothing but their strength! Not that we'd ever need to." She expected her petty boasting to earn her a retort from her mistress, but when she looked over, Kobayashi met her with nothing short of fondness.

"You have a very interesting way of looking at things." No matter how hard Tohru tried to shape herself into something else, parts of her always stuck out at weird angles, sometimes literally like her horns and her tail. And yet, as time went on, Kobayashi found that Tohru's quirks and eccentricities bothered her less and less.

Put off her guard, Tohru could only shift flustered in the spotlight. "Ah, well… I am a dragon from another world." she tried to shrug it off.

"Maybe that's part of it, but I think it has less to do with where you're from and more to do with who you are." The endearment really snuck up on her. Each little observation helped to strengthen her appreciation until there was a warm familiarity in recognizing something as so unmistakably her. The strangeness stopped being off-putting because it was Tohru. "You're one of a kind like that." she smiled tenderly without thought to what she'd said.

Tohru was speechless. Her chest felt light and pleasant. Sometimes being in love really took a lot out of her. It was such a new and overwhelming feeling, even for a powerful creature such as herself. It took her a moment of sputtering to get her brain up and running again. "You know, you're far from ordinary too, Miss Kobayashi."

"Hm? I think I'm about as normal as you can get by human standards, actually."

"Hardly!" Tohru snickered. "I don't think there are very many humans that would welcome so many dragons into their home."

"It wouldn't be right to let someone go without a place to stay…"

"Nor would they go so far out of their way to make sure said dragons are safe and comfortable, sacrificing so much and putting up with all sorts of things. Dragons aren't easy to get along with."

"Maybe not, but it's best not to leave you on your own."

"And they certainly wouldn't stand up against a raging dragon and talk them down just for the sake of your silly maid!"

"Of course! I couldn't let him take you away again," she burst out.

Silence crept in. They hadn't spoken much about the incident since it happened. Even though things had ended on a good note, the emotions underneath it all still ran a bit hot. There was a sorrowful air as the two thought back to the unfortunate time they had spent apart. Each felt the burden of their regrets still weighing heavily on their minds. However, it was also that heartache that partially motivated Kobayashi's actions tonight.

"You know…" Kobayashi started hesitantly. "I missed you while you were gone."

Tohru caught her eye with a hopeful glint. "You did?"

She felt her words catch her in throat for a moment, but she pressed on. "Yeah."

"Everything fell apart without you, and I don't just mean the house. Although, sure, going back to cooking and cleaning was hard and taking care of Kanna on my own was a handful. But given time and practice, I probably could have figured those things out. Instead, the biggest mess kind of ended up being me." she sighed, remembering. There were long nights of overtime, well past sunset, that didn't allow meal breaks. The work helped distract her, and when that wasn't an option, she drank even further into the night. It wasn't a pretty sight.

"It took me a bit to understand. After all, I used to live alone just fine, but that was the thing. I used to, but I hadn't in a while. I guess I just got used to having you around and… it was hard to go back, you know. Nothing really felt the same, and..." She ran her hand through her hair absentmindedly. This wasn't really sounding right. She'd had so many big feelings before, so many things that she wanted to convey, and now she couldn't express any of them. She felt just as much of a mess right now than she did before.

Tohru, on the other hand, didn't seem to have the same difficulty. Even as Kobayashi stuttered and blundered through her words, she listened attentively, hanging off every word she said like it was the most intimate confession. Her cheeks were flushed a soft red to match her dress and she looked on with pure adoration. Without saying a word she was making her affection known. She gave so much and yet she made due with so little. No matter how stoic and impassive Kobayashi was, she never faltered. She was still willing to give her, well, everything.

Kobayashi took a deep breath. She slipped her phone out of her back pocket and started up something she'd had waiting in the wings. On the other side of the apartment, the living room speakers came to life. Dulcet music began to play, adding to the amorous atmosphere of the apartment. Before she lost her resolve, Koabayshi began to stand up from her seat. "I guess what I'm trying to say is..." Somehow, despite the wobble in her knees, she managed to stiffly walk to Tohru's side. "You're really important to me." She played things off as cooly as she could, turned away slightly to hide her nerves. "I'm sorry it took me a while to realize and even longer to say it." One of her hands has a tight grip on her jacket. "But let me make it up to you by showing it now." She extended the other to ask for her date's hand.

Without any hesitation, Tohru delicately placed her hand into Kobayashi's. "Of course." Her voice was almost a whisper. The other woman was almost startled by how immediately Tohru was ready to accept whatever she had to offer, but she supposed she really shouldn't be.

Once again freed from her apprehension by Tohru's confidence, Kobayashi gave her love's hand a small squeeze before pulling her to her feet. Tohru tittered tentatively, unsure of how close she should be, until Kobayashi slipped an arm around her waist and held her securely. It was a touch more intimate than they had been before, but tonight was all about taking bold new steps. "Put your first hand here like this." Kobayashi instructed, placing one of Tohru's hands on her shoulder. "And the other like this." She picked up the other and held it between them. "And then you just follow my lead." She took a step back, taking Tohru with her, one foot and then the other.

Tohru tread carefully, conscious of her every movement. While not completely alien to her, dancing was far more a human act than a dragon one. She was worried of making a mistake, of revealing her foreignness and ruining the mood. So in return for all the solace she'd given her, Kobayashi remained steadfast. She guided her dragon with care, taking her one way and then another until she felt at ease. Gradually, they settled into a nice rhythm and Tohru looked as if she was enjoying it. When she looked up at her partner, Kobayashi gave her a reassuring expression filled with pride. Being told she was doing a good job really brought her joy. Tohru was starved for positive attention like that, and while Kobayashi couldn't always manage it, she liked to indulge her when she could. And perhaps it brought her a bit of joy too.

Dancing gave the shy human an excuse to get close to Tohru without the expectations of being openly affectionate. Not that there was anything wrong with a hug, or even something more. She thought she might want that some day, but it was still a bit much for her right now. Even still, she wanted to find a way to express her feelings and this proved an effective means. It allowed her to give something to Tohru without being too explicit. It was like a soft whisper in her ear, quiet but precious, a secret the two of them could share.

Once they were comfortable with the movements, able to move around almost unconsciously, they only had each other to focus on. However, unlike before, there were no stolen looks or glances to the side. There were no words to stutter and trip over nor anything to fidget with. Instead, they held each other's gazes without any of the anxiety of before. They were relaxed, safe and secure as long as they were home and together. Tohru had Kobayashi to lead her, and Kobayashi had Tohru to pull her strength from. The feelings weren't new, of course; they had always been there, but now they could feel them fully and the warmth filled their hearts.

With the success she'd seen thus far, Kobayashi decided to push her comfort zone a little further. She maneuvered up to a more open space away from the furniture before posing to her date, "Hey, do you want to try something?"

Tohru thought it was kind of a peculiar question since they were already trying something very nice, but her mistress wore such a confident smirk. It made her stomach tie itself up into knots in the most excited way. "S-Sure." She stammered a bit, but recovered quickly. "Anything for you."

Barely waiting for an answer, Konayashi prepared herself. She briefly checked her surroundings, warning that "I've never done this before so I don't know if I'll do it right, but..." Kobayashi put a bit of distance between them. "I think it goes like this." Slowly, she pulled Tohru's hand across the space between them and over her head. With a gentle push to her hip for guidance, her date started to turn away from her. While leading Tohru into a twirl, Kobayashi took a step to the side. When Tohru finished her spin, she was being held out at an arm's length, the natural momententom pulling her other hand out into a small flourish. They stayed in the pose until the small force bounced back and Koabayshi drew her in again. She spun the other way until they joined back together.

It was a plain movement. The execution was simple, and the pace was slow and easy, yet Tohru found herself out of breath by the end of it. The anxiety of being cast out on her own met with the relief of being taken back into her beloved's arms in a way that made her heart skip a beat. Kobayashi seemed quite pleased with herself even before she saw the stars in Tohru's eyes. It seemed the dragon was always impressed by the least significant things, but it made her happy anyways.

She was going to make an unsubtle remark on how well they fit together, but was interrupted when her maid suddenly leaned in to embrace her. The lovesick girl put her arms up around Kobayashi's neck and laid her head on her shoulder. "Sorry, I just need a moment for my heart to recover."

A little perplexed, the human tentatively slipped her hands around her waist. "Yeah, okay…"

She wasn't entirely sure if this was a good sign or a bad one, and the uncertainty made her confidence falter. She hoped she hadn't messed anything up. The logical part of her brain tried to remind her that Tohru had been plenty forward in the past, and if something was wrong, the outspoken woman surely would have said something. Even still, they were in a very vulnerable position and so it felt like a possibility.

She looked down at her partner as they continued to sway serenely. Most of her face was hidden from view, leaving only the top of her head to be seen. But she could still feel her: the rise and fall of her chest against hers, soft breathes escaping her lips, the small flutter of her eyelashes gently touching her skin, the tickle of her hair on her shoulder, the nuzzle of her nose into her neck. It was strange to be so close to someone without knowing what they were thinking. It was almost lonely in a way. Tohru was here in her arms, but not in front of her. She still couldn't quite reach her.

Left on her own, she found herself ruminating on everything and feeling frustrated. She was only ever able to understand her emotions when she was alone. Sometimes she could put everything into focus and pick out the perfect words just to fall dumb when she tried to speak. She just couldn't confront someone about her feelings. There was too much gravity to it, too much importance/ But, maybe if she just kept her eyes forward where she couldn't see anyone and pretended she was talking to herself…

"I'm happy you're here," she continued on before her brain could catch up. "My life is so much better with you in it, and… I don't think I ever want you to leave."

Once she succeeded in tricking herself, the reality of what she'd done immediately set in. Her stomach dropped away, leaving only a pit where her insides should be. The blood in her veins turned cold. All of the confidence she'd built up over the course of the night suddenly left her.

In her arms, she could feel Tohru start to stir. Kobayashi hadn't realized it but her hold had gotten much tighter. Gently, the dragoness pulled away and bit by bit the space between them grew. Without seeing her face, Kobayashi had no way to read her expression, but the minute movements somehow felt more intimate than anything else they'd done thus far. She felt Tohru's hair trail across her shoulder. The quiet rustle of her dress echoed in her mind and the absence of Tohru's breath on her neck left her so much colder than she did before. By the time, Tohru's small button nose appeared from behind her hair, her heart was thumping away in her chest and when she saw her eyes…

They were wide and sparkling, full to the brim with sincerity and with a depth beyond compare. They were the most beautiful sight she'd ever seen in her life and no matter how much they terrified her, she couldn't look away.

Softly, her voice barely above a murmur, Tohru whispered breathlessly, "Do you really feel that way?" Even if Kobayashi could consider backing down now, the aching plea for confirmation in Tohru's face would have stopped her in her tracks. She looked like she wanted so desperately to accept her words, she just needed to hear it from her one more time.

"Yes."

The music they once danced to had long since faded from their minds. If any time passed, Kobayashi didn't notice it. The only thing that existed in her world right now was Tohru and the shy, timid smile that spread onto her face. "I don't ever want to leave again either. Here with you is where I belong." The sentiment wasn't anything she hadn't heard before, but hearing it this time felt like the most glorious news she could have received. The heaviest burden had finally been lifted from her shoulders and a wave of exhilaration and relief washed over her. She couldn't help but break into a bashful grin of her own.

They stayed like that a moment, attention locked onto each other, content to simply beam in delight. It wasn't until Tohru giggled out an idea that Kobayashi was dragged back to reality. "Miss Kobayashi, humans are terrifying." she alleged as if setting up a joke.

Kobayashi's ears rang with the joyous sound of her laughter. "Oh yeah? Why's that?"

"Because," she went on, gazing up at her an impossibly loving expression. "They're so much more powerful than they seem. You think they're so small and insignificant. Perhaps their magic or technology is a bit curious but nothing more than a toy. But then they capture you in a special kind of enchantment, one that you can't break away from, one you don't want to get away from! They make you feel all these strange new ways you've never felt before and it's scary! How is it that your kind came to possess such an amazing ability? I mean, I'm not complaining, but wow."

Kobayashi listened carefully, realization slowly dawning on her. It was exactly the kind of crazy explanation that Tohru would come up with for something as mundane as falling in love. It was ridiculous, and yet so endearing. It was reassuring to see her usual unwavering resolve give way to inexperience and confusion. She was happy she wasn't the only one trying to figure this out as she went along. "It is scary," she sympathized. "It's like your mind has been taken over by a force much stronger than you, and there's not even anything you can do about it!" Some of her own frustrations slipped into her musings, but they only made Tohru snicker more. "But I don't really think other humans and other dragons would go through it the same way we did. I think it's just us."

Tohru eyed her with sarcastic suspicion, as if she didn't believe her assertions against putting a spell on a defenseless dragon. Kobayashi shot her a challenging look back before pulling her back into another round of dancing simply because she could. The last of her apprehension finally left her, allowing her to enjoy the rest of the night basking in her success. Ultimately, she'd ended up confessing in a very Kobayashi way. It was neither particularly dramatic or poetic, but it was straightforward and blunt. They were the best words she could put her feelings into. Maybe she too was kind of rough around the edges, trying to fit into a specific shape but sticking out at odd angles. She'd never considered herself to be so unique or interesting. But if Tohru really cared for her as much as Kobayashi did for her, then maybe the dragoness also saw all the small tics and quirks that were so unmistakably Kobayshi and found them to be oh so endearing as well. Perhaps love was about finding the core essence of a person and loving it, not despite its eccentricities, but because of them.

They were peculiar people in their own ways: a human and a dragon entrenched halfway between what was normal and what was exemplary. However, even with everything that set them apart, they still fit together perfectly. They were carving out a new life and facing all of the emotions that came with it for the first time. When one of them stumbled, the other would catch them, make the uncertainty clearer and the obstacles more surmountable. Their connection to each other made them stronger. Whether disapproving fathers or emotional vulnerability, they would be able to conquer anything that might stand between them, they were Tohru and Kobayashi.

Notes:

I don't know about you guys, but when I got done watching the finale, the first thing I wanted to see was something romantic. After a whole season of watching Kobayashi tip toe around things, it was really awesome to see her stake a claim and I loved them going to see her parents. But that didn't quite scratch my itch. I really wanted them to do something unambiguously romantic. It didn't need anything particularly dramatic or big. This fic doesn't have a kiss or an "I love you" because I thought these two were more lowkey than that. Let's all be honest, Kobayashi would really pace herself every step of the way, but just something to seal the deal and solidify their relationship. I don't mind slow burns so long as they end with like something, but maybe I'm being picky. Regardless, I went ahead and did it myself. I really like how it came out. Dancing is a good trope. Y'all should use it more often. Oh, I'm also gonna go ahead and suggest that if you liked this fic, bookmark or subscribe it or something, because I have half a draft done of a second chapter and there's like a 50/50 chance I finish and post it. I make no grantees but I really liked writing this so I might come back to it
