The walk back to the Owl House was long, mostly because Boscha decided to let Luz take control. That was a mistake.

"Luz, stop getting distracted."

"I can't help it, I love it here!"

"I'm well aware of that, which begs the question; what are we going to do when the summer ends?"

They stopped mid-step. Luz sort of... maybe... forgot about that. It's not like she can stay home after everything that happened. She was bullied just for liking Fantasy, imagine how bad it would be if she showed up with three eyes and pointed ears.

"Uhh-"

"You don't have any idea what to do, do you?"

"No. No I don't."

"Of course, you don't. You know what, I'm taking the controls back."

Boscha took the controls back and dribbled her Grudgby ball. The walk back was filled with Luz wondering what to say to her mom at the end of the summer, which annoyed Boscha because she was trying to think.

"Can you not? I'm trying to think of something nice to do for Willow."

"Aww, you guys are so cute!"

"I hate you."

"No, you don't."

On the other side of town, at the Hexside Greenhouse, Willow was humming to herself while watering her plants when she heard the door open. She looked over and saw Amity.

"Hello, Amity. Did you need something?" Willow asked.

"Willow, this is going to be weird, but... wouldyoubeupsetifIaskedLuzout!?"

"Uh, could you say that again, but slower."

"Would you be upset if I asked Luz out?"

"Why would I be upset if you asked out Luz?" Willow asked.

"Um, because Luz and your girlfriend are one person." Amity said, "Wouldn't that be weird?"

"I don't think so. I practically have two girlfriends already; I'd be okay with a third." Willow said.

Amity blushed and Willow laughed.

"G-great!" Amity said.

"So, how are you going to do that?"

"I... don't know."

"Well, I'm sure you'll figure it out."

Willow sent Amity a wink and Amity was certain she was going to collapse. Why did so many girls make her go into gay panic mode.

"Amity, you, okay?" Willow asked.

"I... yeah, I just thought I was going to panic so bad that I would pass out."

"That would've been bad." Willow said, "Especially seeing as I'm not a healer. Well, how about I help you stop being a flustered mess?"

"I would really appreciate that."

Back at the Owl House, Luscha was working on their homework.

"Okay, you ready Boscha?"

"Let's do this."

She let out a breath and made a circle with their finger. A yellow spell appeared on the ground, following the finger motion.

"Abomination, Rise!"

A small Abomination rose from the circle and Luscha started jumping in joy.

"We did it!"

"Yeah, we did. Now stop jumping before you fall down and ruin the Grudgby season."

Boscha would never admit it, but she loved being fused with Luz. It was never a dull moment with her. She finally laughed, finally felt happy, Luz helped her become a better person that doesn't need to use fear to be noticed. She was happy with Luz, if only she knew that someone was watching from a distance, wanting to end her happiness.
