Luscha opened her eyes and saw the sun setting. She got up and saw that Eda was gone. She limped her way into the Owl House and saw a note on the couch. She grabbed it and read it over.

"If you want to see the Owl Lady alive again, bring me the portal. You have three days to decide."- Love, your dear father

Luscha made a spell circle and burned the note. Her anger turned into sadness and she started crying.

"She's gone." Luz said, "It's all my fault."

"Luz?" Boscha thought, "Luz, it's not your fault."

Luz walked up the stairs and went into Eda's room. She grabbed a box and put in the code for the number lock. She opened it and pulled out the portal key.

"You aren't going to give it to him, are you?"

"I don't know yet, but that's not the reason I grabbed the key."

In the Human Realm, Camila was on her couch, watching the news when a bright flash appeared in her living room. She was both terrified and amazed. She didn't know what was happening until a door seemed to take the place of the light. The door opened and she saw someone step through. The girl had short dark hair, tan skin, three eyes, and pointed ears. She remembered the picture Luz had sent her and quickly walked over to her. She kneeled down and cupped the girls face.

"Luz?"

Luz closed her eyes and felt tears start forming. She jumped at her mom and hugged her, crying into her mom's chest.

"I'm sorry, Mami. I messed up and people have gotten hurt because of me." Luz cried.

Camila had so many questions, but right now, her daughter needed her. Camila moved Luz over to the couch and sat next to her.

"Mija, what happened to you?"

"Well... I'm a witch." She said with a sad chuckle.

Luz made a spell circle and a ball of light floated to the roof.

"I mean, what happened TO you?"

"As you know, I never went to camp. Instead, I found a portal to another dimension that is full of witches and demons and magic. I made friends, had fun, even found a lost form of magic that I could do before... well, this." Luz said motioning to herself.

"And what exactly caused... this?"

"Well, I got enrolled in magic school and... we were in Potions Class-"

"We?" Camila asked.

"Uh... yeah, as I was saying, in Potions Class, I was partnered with my bully. I made a small mistake-"

"That's a fucking understatement."

"One second." Luz said, "Boscha, don't make me come in there."

Luz pointed at her third eye, which became blue a few minutes ago. Boscha rolled her eye at Luz's little threat.

"Luz? Who are you talking to?"

"I messed up in Potions class and my bully and I were fused together. We've been stuck like this for about... three weeks? I think."

"And this bully-"

"Boscha, her name is Boscha. If you notice, you'll see that one of my eyes is blue. If one eye is a different color than the rest of them, that means that one of us is watching. Usually, you can tell which one of us is in control by what color our eyes are. If the three of them are bright hazel, I'm in control, if they're blue, Boscha's in control. You can also tell by who's voice is speaking." Luz said, "Even with all the magic and knowledge of two people. I still failed."

"What do you mean, CariƱo?"

"Boscha's father, he kidnapped the person I've been with. I tried to fight back, but I failed. He took her and there's nothing I can do!"

Luz started crying again and Camila started to hug her again. Before she knew it, the crying turned into snoring. Camila looked down and saw their eyes closed. She picked up the Triclops and carried her into Luz's room. She put them onto the bed and put the blanket over her. She gave them a kiss on the third eye and walked out of the room. Everything that happened seemed to tire them out.
