After moving into the dorms, Class 1-A had to adjust to a new daily life full of twenty teen-aged disasters with superpowers. Personally, Tsu had only gone from one busy home to another—although one was with a few chaotic younger siblings and the other was with nineteen other walking disasters that were her own age.

Normally, you would think that as heroes in training they wouldn't have time to cause trouble. Of course, you would have thought wrong.

Somehow this wasn't all that bad, in Tsuyu's personal opinion. There had been a few mix-ups, broken appliances, and plenty of stolen food, but overall it was like a big family. To her, it felt like she was with her siblings, and she loved that she could get even closer to the classmates that she had shared life and death experiences with.

They were Class 1-A and they stuck together like hot glue.

Besides, she was used to acting as a mother to her siblings at home when her mom was busy with work, so she felt right in her element looking after the idiots of the class.

Surprisingly enough, she wasn't the only one that always attempted to look after the others in the dorms. Sometimes when she had decided to put off cleaning up a small mess someone had left in the kitchen after a midnight snack, Tsu would find Midoriya-chan making an effort to clean it up. Between both of the greenettes, the common room was usually clean and always nice to sit around in.

However, despite their diligent efforts, sometimes they both missed things and the class had to suffer the wrath of Iida-chan's stern lectures during homeroom. As the weeks went by, Tsu found herself getting more and more frustrated by the messes that her classmates left.

At first, she had thought that they were still adjusting to sharing a space and needed time to get themselves together, but it seemed like they had just gotten used to having someone else clean up after them and ended up leaving everything for her to clean.

After a particularly bad party in the common room—run by the Bakusquad, minus the grumpy blonde himself—she decided that it was time to put her foot down.

So the next morning, she found Iida-chan in the kitchen (awake early for his run as usual) and informed him that she would be making breakfast for everyone. He perked up when she asked him to make sure everyone was awake and downstairs for the breakfast, clearly excited to be trusted with such a task: and for such a kind reason too.

Tsuyu probably should have explained the real reason she was doing this to Iida-chan, but she couldn't bring herself to after hearing his kind compliment and his general excitement. Plus, he would probably take it upon himself to chastise everyone as he woke them up, which would completely miss the point she was trying to make.

She found, especially after coming clean to the group that had gone to save Bakugou-chan, that the class valued her input despite her bluntness. So she would use that respect to let them know how she felt about it and hopefully solve the problem without any issues.

About half an hour later, she had made way more than enough food for twenty teenagers (with triple portions for Sato-chan, Shoji-chan, Midoriya-chan, Mineta, and Yaomomo-chan, as they all had higher metabolisms than average) and watched as several grumbling teenagers made their way to the common room to eat.

Midoriya-chan had been the first person down, apparently having already been awake to do his morning workout routine (she had never been awake early enough to see him up, so she was a little bit surprised to find out that he went to the gym for at least one hour every morning). He kindly asked if she needed any help, and she couldn't help but say yes to his earnest expression.

He had helped her rearrange the common room so that everybody could eat together as well as set out the plates and food once it was ready. They chatted a little bit, talking a bit about training and something funny Kaminari-chan had sent in the group chat last night.

Tsuyu couldn't help but feel a little bad about letting Midoriya-chan go into this breakfast without warning, but Midoriya-chan always has his feelings written all over his face. And if she told him, he would be so guilty that it would alert her classmates.

She would make sure to pull him aside afterwards and apologize, probably Iida-chan as well. But she was on a mission and she was determined to speak her mind. And so, she watched silently as her classmates all ambled downstairs in various states of dress and alertness.

She croaked a bit louder than usual after everyone got seated in an attempt to get their attention. Luckily for her, several of them noticed and nudged their neighbors until everyone was looking expectantly at her. A bit awkwardly, she glanced toward a few people in particular (the Bakusquad minus Bakugou-chan himself, Ochako-chan, Tokoyami-chan, and Todoroki-chan) before beginning to speak.

"I wasn't going to say anything, kero, but I think I've reached my limit," she started, wondering how she was going to avoid crossing over from blunt to flat-out rude, "I know that we're all teenagers, but we're all sharing a space together so we need to set some rules."

Tsu had to suppress a croak of laughter at Iida's hopeful expression as well as the way Midoriya's hand suddenly raised as though he were about to take notes in the air.

"I'm going to say this bluntly, kero. Please clean up after yourselves. If you don't want to clean something up, don't make the mess in the first place. If you need something food-wise, please clean it up yourself immediately after or ask someone to do so for you if you need a break. If you get up for a midnight snack or something, please make sure everything is neatly stacked in the sink—if you don't feel up to cleaning it—so that you can clean it yourself when you wake up and it isn't in the way for us early-risers. Thanks, kero. I hope you enjoy breakfast."

This time, she didn't manage to stifle her croak of laughter after looking at Iida-chan practically shaking in his seat in happiness. Yaomomo-chan nodded in approval, apparently deciding to make a piece of paper and pencil to write a few rules about it, seemingly adding a few extra things to the list for the shared bathrooms. She turned to Sero-chan who quickly made a bit of tape for her to attach it to the kitchen wall.

The people she had pointedly stared at before speaking looked effectively shamed and a few others that Tsuyu hadn't been expecting also looked a bit guilty at the realization that it had all been Tsu that had cleaned up after them.

In her quick glance around and subsequent retreat from the common room to her own dorm to get dressed and ready for the day, not only did she forget to pull Midoriya-chan and Iida-chan aside, but she also missed the way that Midoriya looked down at his own hands with extremely misplaced guilt and self-loathing.

All throughout the school day, between classes and during free periods, most of her classmates came up to her to apologize for their lack of self-awareness, to thank her for cleaning up after them in the past few weeks, and to make promises of doing better in the future. Tsuyu was very pleased that none of them seemed all that mad at her for pointing it out in a group setting like that, but she wasn't sure if it was the breakfast or their own guilt that made sure of that.

Either way, she was happy that they had respect for her wishes and understood that she was kind of awkward about making big declarations about it. The only students that hadn't apologized (Yaomomo-chan and Iida-chan in particular) had still decided to approach her with thanks and their own anxious observations about the state of the common room at times.

The only one that hadn't said anything to her about it was Midoriya-chan, but she didn't really mind at all. He had been the only other person bothering to help clean up other people's messes alongside his own after all, so if anyone deserved to get a pass, it would be him.

Despite that decision, the frog-girl couldn't help but feel like it was strange of him to avoid saying anything to her about it. The two of them were fairly close, having both been together during the USJ incident, even when considering the abnormally close bonds of the class overall. So why wouldn't he say anything to her, even if it was just a simple hello or comment about her breakfast.

Now that she thought about it as she walked back to the Heights Alliance building with Ochako-chan after class, he hadn't said anything to her all day. His silence began after her request and persisted all day. Tsu and Ochacko-chan had sat with Midoriya-chan, Iida-chan, and Todoroki-chan at lunch, but Midoriya hadn't said a thing to her.

In fact, now that she tried to remember the specifics, he hadn't said a thing to any of them at all. It was an odd thing for her to realize, as Midoriya was the well-known mumbler of the class, and had things to say at any time: if you let him, that was.

Tsuyu frowned and pressed a finger to her chin, turning to Ochako-chan just as they reached the steps of their dorm.

Instead of being able to ask the question she intended, Bakugou-chan suddenly sauntered past them, purposefully brushing Ochacko-chan's shoulder. It seemed kind of rude to Tsu, but Bakugou-chan stopped at the door and turned back to look at the pair before speaking his mind.

"You still good to spar later today, Pink Cheeks?" he asked in a rough tone, "You too, Frogger."

She couldn't help but smile a bit, realizing that an invitation to spar was the blonde's way of admitting that they were strong enough to be worthy of practicing with, "Sure, kero."

Ochako-chan also agreed quite readily, getting that dangerously competitive glint in her eye that Tsu couldn't help but find a bit adorable. As they quickly made their way inside to do a bit of homework before going to one of the gyms to practice, she didn't even notice that everything about Midoriya-chan slipped her mind entirely.

As the week went by, Tsuyu was continually pleased at the overall cleanliness of the common room and shared dorm-spaces. Sure, her energetic classmates still had parties or meals that made large messes, some of which even she attended, but everyone made sure to help clean up. The mess in the kitchen decreased greatly, and even if there were still dishes in the sink come morning, they were often gone before the first class of the day.

Tsu was very happy that she had decided to push past the awkwardness and lay it out blatantly for everyone to understand. Midoriya-chan had ended his period of silence after the first day, openingly chattering on about anything and everything just as he had before. Even though she was still slightly concerned about why he hadn't said a word that day, she didn't really want to make a scene with all their friends.

Midoriya-chan was the type to get really embarrassed and flustered when under any social pressure, so she didn't really want to do that to him. Especially not with a topic that could be very sensitive to him for all she knew.

And so she didn't say anything. But as hero students, they were very busy and hours of waiting turned into days, turned into weeks. The topic continued to escape her, and when she did remember, she started feeling awkward about asking several weeks after the fact. But the longer she waited, the more tired Midoriya-chan seemed to be.

Most of the class was well-aware of his tendency to work hard and make incredible strides of improvement. But through his blinding smile and talkative nature, it was difficult to remember that working hard easily becomes over-working and rambling words so often lead you in circles and have no meaning.

At this point, Tsuyu wasn't the only one in the class that was beginning to realize that something wasn't right with Midoriya-chan.

The day that he ended up collapsing after training and ended up in the infirmary, Tsu finally decided that she'd had enough of sitting around, saying nothing. She marched herself to Recovery Girl's office alongside Yaomomo-chan, Ochako-chan, Todoroki-chan, and Iida-chan. Frankly, their group wasn't all that surprising, although it had been a while since Midoriya-chan had landed himself in the nurse's office after training.

Recovery Girl herself didn't seem all that surprised that they were there to see him, but she did look quite annoyed at the fact that their friend was there at all. Tsuyu didn't like the Youthful Heroine's attitude about Midoriya getting injured, but she couldn't really say anything about it since she was the one healing him.

The doctor just went to her desk as their group settled around Midoriya-chan, visually scanning him for injuries, "He's just tired. He didn't get anything but a few scrapes and bruises from the exercise today. You all should just go, I'm sure you have plenty of homework to do and it won't do itself."

As Iida walked over to correct her on their intentions, the four of them just looked at him sadly. Tsu pushed the chatter of Iida-chan and Recovery Girl's conversation out of her mind as she tried to think about why Midoriya-chan could have managed to over-work himself into this state.

He had been getting better about taking care of himself, but clearly something had happened. But the only thing that came to mind was the cleaning incident. Did he… did he feel bad about not doing more cleaning despite being one of the few that actually bothered to help before she spoke up? If so, she couldn't help but tear up at the realization that this might have been her fault.

She should have pulled him aside after that breakfast, or even during that lunch when he hadn't said a word. Maybe then they wouldn't have had such a misunderstanding.

But even then, she still wasn't sure how he could have over-worked himself when the entire class was now pitching in and helping out. He wasn't over-exerting himself in the gyms—as Aizawa-sensei had made it a habit to check the gym ID logs and force those that exceeded twenty hours of gym-time a week (outside of class activities, obviously) to take breaks—but he also wasn't staying up late doing homework from procrastination, as he was usually one of the first people finished with the work given.

Tsuyu was left to stew in her thoughts as they sat and waited for Midoriya-chan to wake up from his rest.

After a bit, Ochako-chan excused herself with the excuse of homework, asking them to tell him she was worried and to give him a little slap for it too. Soon after, Iida-chan and Todoroki-chan also had to excuse themselves for the workout slot in one of the gyms for quirkless sparring, even though they had been planning on practicing with Midoriya-chan as well.

Yaomomo-chan firmly stayed by her side to wait for him to wake up. Tsuyu guessed that it was because she felt guilty for not noticing how exhausted he was during the exercise, which only made the greenette feel even worse.

After another fifteen minutes of waiting in silence, Yaomomo-chan finally broke it.

"Tsu-chan…" she started, unsure of how to phrase it, "Do you know why he might be… why he overworked himself like this? I thought… or well, I assumed..."

Tsuyu took a minute to try to work through the thickness in her throat and the tears in her eyes, "K-kero. Midoriya-chan… started acting strange after we made the cleaning rules a couple weeks ago. I think… I think I might have set him off, but I'm not sure why he would be-"

The Vice-Rep calmly put a hand on her shoulder, giving her a soft smile, "It's not your fault. Midoriya-kun didn't talk to you about it, so I'm sure he doesn't blame you for anything. He isn't the type to get angry either… But well… as for how tired he is… I'm not completely sure either..."

They simultaneously looked at their lap stewing in frustration and sadness at their lack of understanding, trying to think of anything. But suddenly, Yaomomo-chan perked up, eyes wide, with an expression of realization.

"I overheard Kaminari-kun, Mina-chan and a few others asking him if he could clean up their dishes or trash on a few occasions, but that shouldn't be enough to have this effect on him…" she trailed off in concern.

Tsuyu's eyes widened with realization. "When was the last time you've personally taken out the trash?" Yaomomo leaned back in her seat, bringing her hand to her chin to think about it. But before she could reply, Tsu continued, "And when was the last time you've had to do any dishes the next morning after you've had a nightmare and needed a drink, or had a midnight snack of some kind?"

It all made sense now. On the days that Midoriya-chan came down late for breakfast, there were usually dishes in the sink, although they were always done before homeroom. But when Midoriya-chan did his morning workouts, the dishes were always clean, dried, and put away neatly.

"I think Midoriya-chan took it upon himself because he was worried that it was stressing me out."

She grimaced, "Oh my. But all that did was make him more stressed out."

For a second, they shared another silence of understanding.

"And on the rules…" Yaomomo-chan whispered, "I listed that you were allowed to ask someone else for help. I believe that some of our classmates may have been asking Midoriya-kun often. Taking advantage of his kindness to get out of their fair share of work… How cruel!"

Cruel might not have been the word that Tsuyu would have used for it, but she still shared the sentiment. Not only was she frustrated with herself, but now she was a bit peeved at her classmates for stooping so low. Was it so hard to wash your own damn plate every once in a while?

She was brought out of her thoughts by Midoriya-chan groaning and shifting in his bed, finally awake.

"Midoriya-kun!" Yaomomo-chan called softly, "You're alright. Thank goodness."

He blinked and sat up, rubbing the back of his neck shyly, "D-did I pass out? H-h-how embarrassing, haha… S-sorry about that."

Tsuyu did her best to hold back a pout at his almost immediate apology, which seemed to be a knee-jerk reaction for him, much to her displeasure.

"Don't be sorry. I'm the one who is sorry, kero. I didn't mean to make you feel bad about having to clean the dorms. I know that you also worked hard to help me clean a lot-"

"H-huh? Y-you don't need to apologize. I just have been staying up too late on hero forums and-"

This time Yaomomo-chan interrupted out of frustration, "We all know that's not true, Midoriya-kun. I know that Kaminari-kun and some of the others have been asking you to do their chores, and that wasn't okay. You don't have to say yes to them, you know."

"B-but A-A...Tsuyu-san," said person snorted at the quick save, "Was over-working by cleaning s-so I just-"

"No," Tsu blurted without elaboration.

Midoriya-chan flinched at the blunt rebuttal, "N-no?"

"I wasn't overworked, but a bit annoyed at their laziness, kero. You're the one that's been overworking and I won't let you anymore."

Yaomomo-chan stood up and gave a deep bow, "I believe I will go back to the dorm common room and make an amendment to the rules now, so that way nobody will try to force their obligations onto you, or anybody else for that matter."

"W-w-wait, what?" he squeaked in surprise, clearly unprepared for any of this, "Th-that's not n-necessary I-"

"-have been taken advantage of by our classmates for being too nice. Yes, kero."

"Th-that's not what I was going to-"

"-admit. I'm well aware of your martyr's complex, kero."

"A-asui-san…" he whined, "I'm really fine, I just-"

"-passed out after training because you have been trying to do too much, kero? Yes, yes you have," she deadpanned.

He just hung his head in reluctant acceptance.

Recovery Girl decided that it was her chance to interrupt, "Well, he really is fine. So if you two would head back to the dorms, that would be greatly appreciated."

The way she said that really ruffled Tsuyu's metaphorical feathers, and she didn't miss the way Midoriya-chan flinched at her tone and immediately made himself smaller, but the doctor had a point.

"Well, let's go back to the dorms and give our classmates a piece of our minds, kero," she smiled, resting a single finger on her lip.

"Wh-what? A-asui-san! We can't d-do that!" Midoriya stammered as they made their way out of the infirmary and to the ground floor.

"Do I have to keep reminding you to call me Tsu?" she croaked, "Besides, you don't have to do anything. I'll do all the yelling. I'm going to give those idiots a piece of my mind!"

Midoriya-chan let out a pathetic squeak-whine that Tsuyu couldn't help but find really adorable as she strolled onto the UA grounds with a purpose.

"Ts-Tsu-chan! Noooooooooooooo!" he whisper-yelled from behind her, making her giggle at his antics.

Besides, her kind classmate deserved to have someone on his side for once. Maybe they would all learn to appreciate Midoriya-chan a bit more after this. They could all learn a thing or two from him.

"You won't be cleaning anything for the next three weeks if I have anything to say about it!" she laughed as she started to sprint.

"That's not any better! Asuiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii!" as he picked up the pace to chase after her.

She called back as she launched herself through the front doors of the dorms before he caught up to her, "I told you to call me Tsu!"
