Hey Nuggies! So I've been reading a lot, and I mean a lot, of HP Fanfiction where Harry is sent to another, or parallel, world to defeat Voldemort and where his parent live. Very cliche I know, but I have always wanted to write one! So, here I am and hopefully you keep reading it even though the thought had been done multiple times. The pairing is SLASH as with most of my fanfiction and I have yet to decide if it will be M!Preg or not or who Harry will be with. By the way, this will not really be book compliant. There will be some mentions of things that have happened in the books, but this will be AU so that means no Horcruxes!

I feel like I should also mention that Harry will be OOC.

Rating: M

Pairing: Harry/?

Disclaimer: I do not own Harry Potter. The franchise belongs to its rightful owner(s). I do not make any money off of this as this is just for entertainment purposes only. I do own my OCs.

Chapter Warnings: None

Nemhain2009, Yes. This world's Dumbledore is different from Harrys' Dumbledore from the original world. As for going back to school I haven't decided if he's going back or not.

"This is an indication for Parseltongue."

Please enjoy and don't forget to leave a review!

A/N: I have decided that the chapter after this one (Ch. 10) will be the last chapter to vote on the pairing! Also! For the first person that can CORRECTLY guess what Harrys' second Animagus form is, Ch. 10 will be dedicated to them.

Harry sighed as everyone in the room, save a few, began speaking all at once. The small teen caught a few questions here and there, but it was mostly exclamations over what he said about his first year. He slowly sat back against the back of the chair as he waited for everyone to hush up so he could actually answer some questions.

He looked around as he waited to take in who all was there. He was honestly surprised at the people there and how different they looked from his own world. Alice and Frank, her husband, were the most surprising for Harry to see, even though he had met Alice before, since in his own world they were bedridden and unable to speak much. Bill Weasley, had his hair cut a bit shorter and Charlie was the one with the longer hair, which had been pulled back in a messy bun exposing the nasty burn scar that extended from his jaw down his neck and into his shirt.

Fred and George, while they still looked alike, were easily able to be told apart from each other. One twin had longer hair than the other and the twin with shorter hair has a scar running through his eyebrow. The two were giving each other looks as though they were speaking telepathically before giving him a glance like they had done the other day when they were in the kitchen.

"Mr. Potter." His name caught his attention causing him to look up at Dumbledore. "If you wouldn't mind I'm sure we all have a few questions to ask you before we adjourn this meeting," Dumbledore asked once the others had quieted down.

"I don't mind," the small teen said as he gave the headmaster a stiff nod. He had expected that there would be questions just like at the last meeting.

"DO you know perhaps how Quirrell became possessed by this parasitic wraith of Voldemort?" Dumbledore asked as he clasped his hands together.

Harry hummed softly before staying silent for a moment to gather his thoughts. "I was told that Quirrell had gone to Albania during the summer holidays before my first year. It was there that Voldemort had attached himself to Quirrell somehow. I'm not sure if Quirrell was a follower of his or if he was imperioused in to agreeing to become a body for Voldemort," Harry answered as truthfully as he could.

"And how was it that no one knew that this Quirrell had Voldemort attached to himself?"

"My worlds' Dumbledore knew, but no one else," Harry replied, "He just didn't care. Dumbledore saw it as a challenge for me to get across because of a prophecy that foretold that I was the one to get rid of the Dark Lord. He liked playing these games with me, just to see if I would crack under them or persevere and get through them. He did something every year like that."

"What exactly was Voldemort after?" Bill Weasley spoke up from the other end of the table.

"The Philosophers' Stone. Voldemort wanted it so he could create a new body, one that was unable to die," Harry said with a small shrug to his shoulders.

"And Nicholas was tricked into giving Dumbledore the stone?"

Harry nodded as he looked over at Dumbledore. "No one knew how he got it for sure. Most assumed that because they were friends that Flamel gave Dumbledore the Stone for a bit of extra study," Harry explained before grabbing his water to drink since his throat was pretty dry.

"You said the Stone was destroyed. What happened to Flamel then? Surely he wouldn't have agreed to destroy the item that was keeping himself and his wife alive," Alice said as she grasped her husband's hand and sent him a small look.

"I don't think Flamel even knew that the stone was destroyed. I don't even know if the stone was actually destroyed. That's just what Dumbledore told me," Harry admitted, "If it truly was destroyed then all I can assume is that Nicholas and his wife are dead."

Albus nodded as he ran his hand through his beard only to be stopped at the tie he had tied to keep his beard in order. He let the rest of the order ask their questions as he listened with half an ear, it was mostly about the rules Harry had broken and how his first year was from his parents and uncles.

It was truly spectacular just how different two different realities/worlds/universes are from just one small instance. In this world of theirs Tom Riddle, now Thomas Slytherin, was a well known and loved political figure. While in young Harrys' world he was a mad man hell bent on ruling the magical world.

"By the way sir," Harry had spoken up once there was a lull in the room, "Can my family and I come to Hogwarts for an afternoon?"

The question was a sudden one, but Albus saw no reason to deny the request. The ward work on the school would be done later in the summer and there was only himself and the staff at the school for the next week to finish the end of year work they usually had. "Of course you can young Harry," Albus said as he nodded, "If I may ask why?"

"Well Dad and Silas want to see my second Animagus form, but there really isn't any room here to transform, and I could maybe see about the Basilisk under the school?" Harry explained as he fiddled with his hands.

Harry heard the Headmaster hum while he stroked his beard a moment before consenting to letting Harry see to the Basilisk, but only if a few adults accompanied the young man into the Chamber. Harry quickly nodded as a few people decided to leave as the meeting came to a close.

"How about you and your family come to Hogwarts in a few minutes?"

Harry turned in his seat to see the old Headmaster speaking with James. He turned back once he heard James confirming that they would leave in a bit to get to the castle only to face the Weasley twins. They both had crooked grins on their faces that made Harry blush a bit.

"Well lookie here Georgie," Fred said as he looked the smaller teen over, "a little kitten."

Georges' grin turned into a smirk as he licked his lips. "A very good looking little kitten indeed Freddie," George added a moment later once he had done his own once over.

"Okay you two!" Bill interrupted the two as he saw how red Harry was getting and assumed that the small teen was becoming uncomfortable with the twins, "That's enough. Leave him alone."

Fred and George looked at each other before sending Bill a small, almost not even there, glare before turning back to Harry. "We'll see you later then kitten," the twins said at the same time before their older brother grabbed their ears and began dragging them away.

Harry swallowed around the lump in his throat before James was ushering him out of the chair so he could get ready to leave. The room the Order had met in was already cleared of the others besides the Lupin-Blacks and the Potters. Harry quickly went to grab his egg, which had doubled in size overnight and gained a bit of weight, as well as Aku, who hid under his clothing, before meeting the others downstairs.

The dark haired teen heard Silas, before even entering the room, exclaiming that he was excited to see Harrys' Animagus form and that he didn't care that they were going back to Hogwarts even though they had left not that long ago. When he entered he saw that Sireli was standing by their mother with her arms crossed over her chest and Silas was speaking excitedly to both their mother and father with Orion standing by him with Carina in his arms. Lyra and Corvus were both by their parents, with Lyra exclaiming that she was excited to see Hogwarts earlier than her friends.

"Ready?" James asked as Harry walked closer only for him to start sending people through the floo. He was ready anyway so he didn't say anything. He did have to ask if James could go before him and catch him on the other side since he wasn't good at flooing.

It didn't take long for the Headmaster's Office to get filled with everyone, but it was starting to become crowded since Albus was already in his office along with McGonagall, Snape, Flitwick, and Sprout. Fawkes was also there standing on his perch and eyeing the people who had just flooed in. Harry, not caring if there were eyes following him, walked up to the Phoenix and whispered to him as he ran his fingers over warm feathers.

"Hello again Fawkes," Harry greeted with a small smile, "I have a small request for you. Can you watch over my egg for a bit while we're here?"

The dark eyes of the fire Phoenix pierced his own eyes as if he was reading his soul before he let out a soft trill. Harry carefully lifted the dark egg and placed it on the tray under Fawkes that was still filled with ash from past burning days. He thanked Fawkes and gave him another head scratch before turning towards the humans in the room.

"Well Basilisk first or Animagus transformation?" Harry asked since he was ready to do both.

"How about the Basilisk?" James asked back, "Get the more stressful bit out of the way before we de-stress with an afternoon in the sun?"

Harry nodded and began to lead the large group of people out of the office. The paintings in the hallway chattered as they watched the group walk and even a few of the ghosts joined in for a moment or two before leaving to do whatever it was ghosts do. They had to go down a couple of floors to the second floor seeing as Hogwarts had moved the Headmasters' office to the fourth floor that year.

Harry was pleasantly surprised to see that there was no ghost lurking in the bathroom and wondered where Myrtle was now and if she was still alive. Harry did double check for the snake engravings on the faucets as well as the stone snakes along the room trimmings near the ceiling.

Harry cleared his throat before he began to hiss. "Open for your master," Harry hissed out softly causing a few in the room to shudder and for Aku to pop his head out through the neck hole of his shirt, "Release the stairs."

The sounds of stone grinding caused a few people to clap their hands over their ears and send him a small glare, but Harry assumed that they would rather walk down the stairs instead of using the Basilisk tube to slide down. Harry had found out in his world that by releasing the stairs the place they could come out of would be the main corridor to the Chamber instead of the humid and snake shed filled room he and Ron had gone into in their second year.

"This way," Harry said as he began to walk down the stairs. Torches were lit along the wall as he walked down casting enough light for them to walk down the steps safely. The main corridor of the Chamber was the same here as it was in his world, dirty and not generally cared for, although the large bust of a Slytherin ancestor wasn't there. Instead it was a large painted mural of the four founders and their familiars with a large circle in the center where the Basilisk could exit.

"Okay," Harry said as he stopped several yards away from the tunnel of water that he had learned led to the lake outside, "Just a few things before I open the entrance to the nest. One, keep your eyes closed. Two, no sudden movements and no raising your wand. I'll let you know if a rooster needs to be summoned. Third, and I really do mean this, if I tell you to run and get out of here. Do it. I don't want anyone in this world to die because of something I suggested."

Once everyone had agreed, a few very reluctant, and closed their eyes Harry began to hiss. The hole on the mural began to open and the heavy sounds of something large began to move in front of him. He felt hot hair on his face and felt Aku tighten his hold on his torso as the basilisk got closer.

"Well what do we have here," a feminine sounding hiss sound from in front of Harry, "It's been several decades since I have been woken up from my slumber. Why have you awoken me hatchling?"

"The humans heard behind me had heard that a being of your stature lived in this castle," Harry hissed softly, "They were worried over the hatchlings that reside in the castle for most of the year."

The basilisk let out a deep hiss and Harry could feel warm scales touch his body, but he knew they weren't Akus' scales since they were too large for the smaller form the Occamy had taken. He dared a peek and saw that the basilisk had loosely wrapped herself around his body.

"I wouldn't dare harm a hatchling," the basilisk hissed as Harry once again felt hair air on his face. He had closed his eyes after taking a peek and he wouldn't dare try to look now.

"We just wanted to make sure," Harry said calmly, trying not to make the Queen mad at him, "They became worried when I told them my story. You see, I'm not from this world, but from another. In my world the basilisk had gone mad from the false promises and words of a fake Lord. She had gone through the school on a hunt and it was only by a miracle that the few students that came across her were only petrified and not killed."

"I see," she said before moving away, "You may open your eyes. My brille is closed and therefore I cannot kill or petrify you."

Harry took a deep breath as he slowly opened his eyes. He knew he could trust her word on that since a lie could not be told in Parseltongue. The basilisk looked larger than the one in his world, but then again in his world he had met her when he was twelve and here he was at sixteen. Her scales were dark, but in the light of the chamber Harry could see the green that showed on them. Her eyes were a bright amber, though dulled because of the brille.

"Have I passed your inspection young one?" the basilisk asked with amusement filling her voice.

"My apologies," he said as he crossed his arms over his chest, "I was merely admiring your beauty. The basilisk from my world; her scales were dull and her eyes were plucked out of her head."

She flicked her tongue as she chuckled in amusement. "May I ask why else you are here hatchling? Along with the other humans behind you? Besides making sure I haven't gone crazy," she asked with a slight tilt to her head.

"At the moment we need nothing," the teen answered, "But perhaps in the future there may be need of you, of your venom, or your sharp fangs. The ones behind me have told me that they are at war with another wizard that seeks to destroy us. I know not much of this war unfortunately since it is different from the one I have fought in my own world. If it comes to a point that we may have need of your assistance, may we have it?"

Harry stood there as the bright amber eyes bore into his own. He didn't speak or move anymore as the basilisk seemed to inspect him and the others behind him. The silence around them was loud as the two living beings stared at each other. Even the adults behind him seemed to have noticed the tension in the room and had started to become restless.

"Perhaps," was the only answer he had received.
