A/N: I got bored today, so here's another chapter. It's just some cute moments between Edge and Summer during their time together. I hope you enjoy the fluffiness because I enjoyed writing it.

Ghosts Of Days Gone By
When You Were Mine

"Dad, I need to talk to you about something." Summer had just walked into Vince's office. She took a seat in front of his desk, crossing one leg over the other.

"What is it, Sunshine?" Summer smiled at the special nickname Vince given her as a child that was still used to this day. "Is it business or personal?"

"It's personal. I've kind of been seeing someone as of late."

"That's great! Who's the lucky guy that's stolen my baby girl's heart?"

"Adam. Edge."

Vince's forehead crinkled. "You're dating a wrestler? A wrestler that was involved in a scandalous affair?"

"Yes," Summer replied. "But, that was three years ago, Dad. It's 2008 now. He's a totally different person now."

"I bet he's just using you for your last name! He wants to ensure his top position in the company."

Summer scoffed. "This is why I didn't want to tell you that I was seeing Adam. I knew you would react this way."

"How'd you expect me to act? I told you I didn't want you to date a wrestler, but out of everyone to choose from, you chose Edge."

"Dad, I am a grown woman. I can choose to date whomever I want. Adam is the one I want to be with, so you're just going to have to accept that."

"Fine." Vince raised his hands in surrender. "If you want to be with him then so be it, but don't come crying to me when he dumps you because your last name won't get him any farther in the business."

"Dad," Summer started, getting up from her seat and standing up straight, placing her hands on her hips. "Adam is already one of the tops guys. He is the top heel on Smackdown. He is the current World Heavyweight Champion. He has the hottest storyline in the company right now working alongside Vickie Guerrero. I think it's safe to say that he's doing very well for himself." With that said, she exited Vince's office.

Her black stiletto heeled boots were clicking against the hardwood floor of the hallway as she was in pursuit of Adam. It was the Royal Rumble at the world's most famous arena: Madison Square Garden. So, RAW and Smackdown superstars were lingering backstage. She exchanged pleasantries with wrestlers and crew members she walked past. She approached his locker room door and knocked on the door.

"Yeah?" The World Heavyweight Champion called out from inside the locker room. Summer opened the door to his locker room and gently shut the door. "Hey," Adam greeted once he saw Summer enter his locker room. He was putting his Rated R kick pads on over his wrestling boots.

"Hey." Summer took a seat in one of the steel chairs. "So, I told Dad about us."

"Really? How'd it go?"

Summer sighed. "He reacted exactly how I thought he would."

"So, he's not exactly thrilled that we're seeing each other; is he?"

"That's an understatement," Summer giggled. "He thinks that you're using me for my last name. I told him that you were doing very well for yourself right now. You're the hottest thing going on in the company."

Adam wiggled his eyebrows. "You think I'm hot, Miss McMahon?"

"Duh!' Summer playful kicked Adam in the shin. "But, I was meaning that you are the top star of the company. Everyone is talking about your storyline with Vickie and you are drawing the most heat."

The Rated R Superstar grabbed a hold of the youngest McMahon's hands. "We both know that I'm with you despite your last name."

"Right. I just wish that Dad could see it."

"It's okay," Adam assured. "Vince will come around eventually. I'm sure he just needs some time to process the news."

"Things are going so great between us, so that's why I was ready to tell him about us."

"I'm glad you did. That lets me know that you're in this with me one hundred percent."

Summer nodded. "Absolutely."

Adam got up from his seat and extended a hand to Summer. She smiled and accepted his hand. He helped her get up from her seat. "I have some pay-per-view business to tend to. I'll come find you later, okay?"

"Okay."

Adam cupped Summer's face and quickly kissed her. Afterwards, she followed him out of the dressing room. He gave her a wink before walking down the opposite way that she was.

Adam and Summer were taking their first couple's vacation. He'd gotten time off after Summerslam after a lengthy feud with Undertaker which was the brainchild of Summer. Since she'd knocked her first assignment as a member of the creative team out of the park, Vince granted her time off too.

They were in the nothingness of the mountains. Summer had never been in the mountains before, so she was excited. What made the whole thing better was Adam being there with her.

It was his idea to come to the mountains, so she happily obliged. It was nice to have a break from reality. It would just be the two of them in the nothingness.

They rented out a cabin. Summer thought that the cabin looked cute and cozy from the outside. She and Adam were unloading their luggage from his truck. The drive there had been nothing short of magical. It was no wonder why Adam loved the mountains so much and why he wanted to vacate here for a little while.

Adam unlocked the door to the cabin and Summer was mesmerized as soon as she walked in. "Wow," she breathed. "This is so majestic."

"This is going to be our place for the next two weeks."

"It's going to be a fun two weeks."

Adam led Summer to the bedroom. The bedroom had an incredible view of the mountains through the window. Summer laid her luggage on the right side of the bed because the left side was where the view of the mountains was and she wanted Adam to have that view.

"Why are you putting your stuff on the right side of the bed? You usually sleep on the left side."

"Because I wanted you to have the view of the mountains," Summer responded.

"Oh," Adam said. "That's very sweet of you." He walked over to Summer and bent down to kiss her. "Thank you."

"No problem." She stood on her tiptoes to kiss him again. She got out her digital camera from her bag. "I want to get a picture of us."

"Where at?"

"Let's go outside." They walked outside where there was nothing but views of mountains. "Alright, let's take a picture."

Adam took the camera from Summer. "I'll take it since I'm way taller than you." He tucked Summer into his side. "Three… two… one…" Adam snapped the picture.

Summer observed the photo. She absolutely loved it. They were so cute with their smiling faces and her tucked into his side. "You're a good picture taker."

"I know," The Rated R Superstar stated matter-of-factly. "So, what do you want to do?"

"You mentioned hiking a different rock each day. You want to go hike one of them?"

"Abso-freaking-loutely!"

Summer giggled. "Let's go get changed then so we can get started."

Summer sat in the surgery waiting area. Adam had injured his achilles tendon and was having surgery. He was expected to be out nine months minimum.

One of the nurses came into the waiting room. "Summer."

Summer got up from her seat and approached the nurse. "Yes?"

"Adam is out of surgery. You can visit him." The nurse led Summer to the room that Adam was staying in. "Let us know if you need anything."

"Thank you," Summer replied. She looked at Adam and smiled. She was so glad that his surgery was over and done with. He looked exhausted, but still handsome all the same.

"Are you just going to stand there or are you going to pull up a seat and stay awhile?"

Summer was relieved to know that his teasing demeanor hadn't changed in the slightest. She pulled up a seat right next to his bed. "How're you feeling?"

"Pretty good considering I'm doped the hell up."

"I bet you feel real good right now then."

"Mmhmm."

"So, Dad gave me some time off to let me help you get acclimated post-surgery."

"I think he's finally warmed up to us being together."

Summer giggled. "I'd say so."

"Since you are taking time off… why don't you use that time and move in with me?"

"What?" Summer's eyes widened.

"I might be loopy right now, but I know that I want you to move in with me."

"You want me to move in with you?"

"I asked you didn't I?"

"Yeah."

"There's your answer."

"Are you sure about this?"

"I'm one hundred percent sure."

"Okay, I'll move in with you."

"Let's shake on it to make it official." Adam extended his hand out to Summer in hilarious fashion. She laughed as she shook his hand.

"Dad, you need to go with Edge and Jericho's idea and let Nexus go over. If you let Cena get the victory, it's going to tarnish all the momentum they have."

"I've made my decision and it's final."

"I love John, I really do, he's a great asset to the company, but I think he's wrong. The Nexus needs the victory. They're the hottest thing we've had in WWE in quite some time. Why ruin a good thing?"

"Summer, my decision is final."

"It's not like John would look like a wimp on defeat. He would look strong in the process. He could eat all of their finishers and then get pinned."

"Why are you still going on about this? I said I've made my decision, damnit!" He slapped his hands on the desk making Summer jump. "Since you can't leave well enough alone, please leave."

Summer sighed and exited Vince's office. When she walked out, she saw Adam leaning against the wall, his arms crossed against his chest.

"You couldn't change Vince's mind; could you?"

"No. I'm sorry."

"Don't be sorry. You tried. I appreciate that." He kissed Summer's cheek. "You, Jericho, and I have all tried to talk to Vince, but he's just not budging. He's adamant on having Cena be the sole survivor."

"It doesn't help that John told Dad that it wouldn't make sense for him to lose on a big pay-per-view platform like Summerslam."

"Yeah, whatever." Adam rolled his eyes. "You have some time to spare?"

"I do."

"You want to hang out with me for a little bit?"

"I'd be delighted." She walked beside him to his locker room. When they got there, he opened the door and let her walk in first. He grabbed her waist from behind and tackled her onto the couch with her landing on his lap. "Adam!" She squealed.

He laughed as he switched their positions. She was now lying beneath him. He placed his lips on hers and within seconds it became heated. She discarded his shirt and tossed it onto the ground. They stayed like that for a while until he broke the kiss so they could both get air.

"I have to fix my hair and lipstick now, but I'm not complaining."

"I have to find a way to get rid of this lipstick you smeared on me. Thanks a lot," Adam teased.

"Hey, you're the one who planted your lips onto mine."

"You're the one who decided to wear lipstick knowing I would kiss you at some point."

Summer rolled her eyes. "I was expecting a kiss, but not a full blown make out session."

"That was great, wasn't it?"

"It was great. I like the way your scruff feels against my skin."

"I like how soft your skin is. It feels so porcelain like."

"We can continue what you started once we get to the motel," Summer offered. "What do you think about that?"

"I think that it's impossible to say no to you."

Summer beamed. "I know, right?" She looked at her silver rolex wristwatch and saw that it was 7:45pm. "I should get going. I'm sure I'm needed for something. Good luck in your match. Sorry again that I couldn't convince Dad to change the outcome of the match."

"I'll see you later. And don't be sorry." He gave her a kiss goodbye before she exited his locker room.

Adam and Summer were at a hardware store picking out appliances that they were going to put in their house that was being built in Asheville, North Carolina. Both of them wanted a place to call their own, so they bought some land and had a house being built from scratch.

"Should we get stainless steel appliances?" Adam wondered.

"Yeah. That would be good."

"Who knew that shopping for appliances could be so difficult?"

"I'm sure I'm no help either. This is my first time handpicking appliances."

"Trust me: I know. You're definitely acting like it's your first time. You look like a deer in the headlights," Adam teased.

Summer pouted. "I'm trying."

"I know you are. I'm just kidding."

She stuck out her tongue at him. "I think stainless steel appliances would look good with the tiles and colors we picked out for the kitchen."

"I do too. Let's go with stainless steel. Now we just have to decide what the best option of stainless steel appliances is."

"I'm sure we could ask someone," Summer suggested.

"Yeah, we could do that. But first, I want to look at other stuff for the house like toilets and showers."

"Alright." Summer walked with Adam to the bathroom section of the store. There were toilets and showers galore. "I really like this shower." She pointed to a shower with marble flooring. "This is super fancy."

"Too bad we're not getting it."

"But, why?" Summer pouted. "It's so pretty."

"I'm sorry but I don't want a shower with marble flooring in my home. I want something more simple."

"Fine. You get to pick out the showers and toilets, but I get to pick out the appliances for the kitchen."

"I think that's a fair compromise."

"Let's shake on it." Summer extended out her hand and Adam shook it. "So, we've got a deal. Look away, shower boy."

"Shower boy?" Adam raised an eyebrow. "Why in the hell did you just call me that?"

Summer was laughing hysterically. "Because you're the one who's all anal about the showers. You want a simple shower, so find us a simple shower."

"You're not being very nice right now."

"I am being nice."

"Name calling is not very nice," Adam countered.

"Whatever." Summer rolled her eyes. "Just pick out a shower that you like."

"You know, it's going to be so cool when the stuff we pick out is going to be inside the house that's being built for us."

Summer came up behind him and wrapped her arms around his waist. "It's going to be the coolest thing ever."

"I can't wait for it to be built so we can move in there and start a brand new chapter in our relationship."

"Me too."

A/N: Obviously, Summer didn't move into the house :(. Anyways, please let me know what you think.
