Junko stared down the pinkette over the table as she ate breakfast. The pinkette wearing an unnaturally long grin almost came off as a bit… Creepy…

Junko asked "Madoka, is everything alright?"

"Never been better mama! I'm just really excited to start school and make lots of new friends" she responded muttering "who hopefully won't die" quiet enough for Junko not to hear.

"Uh, well you got the spirt, but could you maybe tone down the clown face"

"Oh, yes of course"

Homura returned to its most neutral state but her cheeks glowed red, and her heart had begun beating crazily.

"Was this embarrassment?" Homura thought to herself. "It has been a very long time since anyone other than Madoka had made me feel that emotion. Maybe it runs in the family? I hope that doesn't end up applying to other feelings I have about Madokda."

Homura knew that if was to retain this body through time leaps she'd just have to get used to this morning just as she did for going to school, strategically murdering Kubeys and everything else. After forcing down her food she got up and paced strait for the door

"Hold your horses Madoka where do you think you're going"

The girl turned and answered confused "to school?"

"You haven't even brushed your teeth yet!"

"Oh." There was a slight pause. Homura hadn't thought about brushing her teeth since she became a magical girl. There was almost always something urgent that occupied her mind or if nothing else she was thinking of her beloved pinkett. Besides her physical body wasn't anything more than an empty shell anyway. She was suddenly tackled by horrifying realisation?

"Were my teeth yellow? Is that why Madoka didn't want to get close to me that one timeline?"

Although she had never confirmed it, so all she could do was hope her teeth stayed white with magic.

"But just in case and out of respect for Madoka's body and avoiding suspicion, it'll probably be for the best if I regularly brush my teeth and shower" Homura decided

She said "Ah, sorry I just got caught in the moment again!"

"I'm really concerned… Are you sure can go to school"

"Yes. I'm alright. And I promise you I'll stay that way. B-Because I love you mom, and I'd never do anything to make you worry" she shyly spoke with a stinging feeling of guilt for acting. Once in the bathroom she picked up the toothbrush.

"It'll only take a minute"

Madoka was gently woken by the dimed light entering through the window.

"That was a really weird and kind of scary dream. I wonder if it meant anything" she pondered opening reaching for her favourite stuffed animal her hand aimlessly moving around her bed. As she opened her weary eyes her hazy vision cleared, and she saw a bunch of high tec medical equipment.

"Wow" she thought "this is way more advanced than anything we have at school. Am I still in a dream?"

She rose from her bed and looked at the nearest mirror.

"Eh?" she gasped out loud. "I'm the girl from earlier?"
