Suddenly the Blackett heard a voice, her voice behind her
"Madoka Kadmade?"
She gasped and reflexively swinging her arms to her chest in fright. Turning around she saw herself standing on the open windowsill glaring at her intently in a way most would find intimidating, yet she instinctively felt her figure harboured no hostility. After a blank second Madoka decided this dream was getting just too wired so pinched herself in the check
"Ow it hur-"
"This isn't a dream, Madoka that won't work."
"What do you mean I'm not dreaming? H-Homura?
Homura's eyes dilated
"H-How do you know that name?"
"I-I don't really know! I was just watching you fight some massive monster. It was distorted and unlike anything I could have ever imagined! And then you nearly were killed. Wait how long have you been standing there? "
Homura cheeks blushed as bright as the new colour of her coral pink hair. Homura had never considered herself a partially cute girl, but her face, when attached to a girl like Madoka, was undeniably adorable. Even when sleeping.
"M-Madoka. I-I wasn't here too long. I don't know how you had that dream. I know this is hard to process but it is possible what you saw could become reality. Madoka do you love your family and friends?"
"Of course I do!"
"Then listen to me. You and everyone you love are in great danger. Sooner or later, you're going to be confronte-
"Wait Homura how do you know all this? My families haven't done anything wrong, who would ever want to hurt them!? Dose any of this have anything to do with our body switching?"
"Let me finish. You are going to be confronted by a creature that calls itself Kyubey. Ignore it and any girl who listen to it. Whatever you do, don't make a contract. I strongly believe that he is responsible for our body situation also."
This wasn't a lie. In fact, she couldn't think of any other being with the power to remove a person's soul and put it in something else like the human body was no more than valuable than bubble wrap made to be removed and popped. But she still couldn't think of a single thing that rat would have to gain from doing something like this. Not that it really mattered. Homura also knew Madoka tended to dream of the previous timeline. It was slightly reliving to know that such factors hadn't changed and that she could continue to exploit exploit the prophetic devise to delay her contract through fear (though she didn't take pleasure from making her worry).
Madoka stood silently for a moment starring into space.
She said softly "Even if this is a dream, If my family are in danger as you say, then I can't just to nothing."
She then ran out of the hospital room as fast as her legs could carry her rushing past several patients and nurses apologising after passing each one. Suddenly she felt an aching pain grip the inside of her chest. She clasped her hospital gown and plummeted to the cold floor. Struggling to breath she started to lose consciousness as several figures huddled around her increasingly blurry vision.
A girl with blond drills yawed waking up in a nice soft but unfamiliar bed. "At least here my mean old auntie wont yell at me!" she thought. As she remembered today was the day, she'd finally get to visit her mother from the hospital her anticipation bubbled insider her. Throwing off the sheets she got out of bed and made her way towards the exist. Entering the living room, she came across an empty kitchen her eye imminently being drawn to a thick cookbook with a white cake on the cover.
"Wow this is perfect! I'll make this and Mamma's disease will be cured for sure! Well just to be safe I'll make cheesecake, no one can stay sick after having that to eat!"
