AN(1): Hello, I'm not dead.
bFor anyone curious, here's my writing method.

Chapter 1: Broly?!
Deep underground, hidden away from the rest of the world, Doctor Gero's autonomous supercomputers worked with the same diligence of their creator. A vat of reinforced glass sat in the middle of one such supercomputer, the product of nearly twenty years of work.
Broly, the Legendary Super Saiyan, floated in the green juices of the vat in his base form, a product of the supercomputer's drones.
Currently the cloned Saiyan was unconscious, and even more currently… his soul lay elsewhere…
"Evil Containment Wave!"
A whirlwind of green life energy flies from Tien, slamming into the evil half of Android Twenty-One and holding her in place.
"Piccolo, make the jar now—!"
A quick glance confirms Tien's worst fear, as Piccolo lay in an unmoving pile of charred Namekian.
Dead? Alive? Didn't matter, what was important was he was unresponsive at the most critical point.
"Damn it—I can't hold her for long! Someone come up with a plan back there!"
Goku was wracking his brain, trying to come up with something—anything that could work! Majin Buu was in scattered pieces, Vegeta was down an arm and a leg, Krillin was down to his last Senzu bean, Seventeen and Eighteen were at least still in fighting condition and Twenty-One was—
The good half of Android Twenty-One's cry of grief was haunting, tears running like rivers as she screamed and cried over Gohan's corpse.
Chiaotzu's too.
"Keep it together." Goku thinks, a father's rage building inside him. "I can't afford to lose it, if we win here everyone comes back."
"Daddy…" Gotenks says, the Super Saiyan 3 form beaten out of him and covered in burns and scars. "I'm scared…"
"Don't worry son." Goku says, struggling to pick himself up off the ground. "We'll win this, believe me.
"Yamcha!" Goku suddenly yells.
"What—" A groan of pain comes from poor Yamcha, barely keeping it together as he holds his broken shoulder. "—what do you need, pal?"
"You've got access to more of your ki than the rest of us, try and hit her with everything you got!"
"On it." A blue and white light starts shining from Yamcha's uninjured hand. He definitely had a concussion and one of his eyes was murky white and unseeing, but he still took a one-handed Turtle School stance. "Ka—"
"Krillin!" Goku calls. "You remember the Spirit Bomb?"
"W-wha I don't know how to do that!" Krillin sputters, feeding a Senzu bean to Vegeta, regrowing the Saiyan's arm and leg and bringing him back from the brink.
"You've done it before, just remember the sensation you felt and draw it out around you. But you need to keep charging it no matter what happens to us, got it?"
"—Me—"
"A-alright Goku, I'm trusting you on this."
"Thanks Krillin, you might be our last hope if it all goes south."
"Why would you tell me that?!"
"—Ha—"
"Vegeta." Goku says, out of breath from the simple act of walking over and dragging the Prince to his feet. "Fuse with me."
"Kakarot we haven't done the dance in years." Vegeta says, revitalized from the Senzu bean. "One little mistep and we'd be guaranteed to not stand a chance."
"—Me—"
"Do you have any other ideas Vegeta? The soul can only power one of us at a time, and if we fuse together we'd stand more of a chance!"
"Or it could fail, and we'd be down the only Saiyans we have left in fighting shape!"
"—Ha!"
The blue and white energy fires from Yamcha's palm, a fierce blast of ki that slams into the evil half of Twenty-One and bathes the Supreme World of the Kais in a blue light.
"It doesn't matter our individual strength if we can't fight as individuals Vegeta!"
"The risk is too great Kakarot, I'm not doing it—"
An explosion of red energy blasts outward from Evil Twenty-One, destroying the green whirlwind around her and pushing against the blue Kamehameha. Yamcha's stand is valiant, but meaningless in the face of such overwhelming power.
The red explosion slams into Tien and Yamcha, flinging the both of them backwards and causing them to skid across the ground.
"Damn it!" Vegeta growls, flying across the battlefield towards Evil Twenty-One. As he passes Tien, the precious soul inside him instantly flies into Vegeta, whose eyes shine like sapphires and hair turns blue immediately.
Red and blue clash, with the restored Vegeta Blue bending ninety-degrees backwards to avoid a red and black ki blade, one hand raising upwards with thumb bent inwards and fingers pressed together in straight lines.
"Big Bang Attack!"
A bright white flash blinds everyone for a moment, as a massive explosion bellows forward from the direct hit on Evil Twenty-One. Without waiting for the smoke to clear Vegeta grabs the homicidal maniac's head and slams his knee into her face, following it up with a vicious series of punches to her jaw and sternum.
Pivoting in the air Vegeta twirls around the ki blade that swung straight for his neck, using the momentum to slam both of his feet into the bottom of Evil Twenty-One's jaw. The ground around the two powerhouses cracks from the force of the Saiyan Prince's kick, sending the pure evil android flying into the air.
"Galick—"
Purple energy surrounds Vegeta Blue in a vibrant aura as he twists in mid-air.
"Kame—"
Black and red energy gathered in Evil Twenty-One's hands as she twirled through the sky.
"—Gun—"
The aura swirls into his clenched hands, crackling with blue lightning all the while.
"—hame—"
The black and red ball balloons outwards before condensing in on itself.
"—Fire!"
"—ha!"
Purple and blue clashes with black and red in an epileptic explosion. The entire battlefield bathed in the four colors, saturating everyone's vision, but a huge blue and white light started growing in size and began to dominate the current color war.
Krillin stood atop a large cliff, eyebrows furrowed in concentration, eyes closed, and hands raised to the sky as the Spirit Bomb gathered energy and power. It was slow in its growth, but it still steadily grew in size with every passing second.
But then, in a terrifying flash, Vegeta's Super Saiyan Blue leaves him.
Without the power boost of the Blue state, the clash becomes heavily one-sided as Evil Twenty-One's Kamehameha tears through Vegeta's Galick Gun, the Saiyan Prince's scream as tne negative energy tears him apart echoing across the ravaged world.
"Vegeta!" Goku screams, hand reaching out towards his strongest rival—
But the survivors can only stare in horror when the black and red energy fades away, and all that remains of the proud warrior is the floating soul of their newest ally.
"Damn, it!" Goku yells, the fragile soul flying across the field and into his body. "DAMN—IT!"
"Goku! You have to pull yourself together!" Seventeen calls.
But his words go unheeded, as something shifts inside the Earthly Saiyan. A rage, a foreign, violent rage echoed through his heart, but it did not come from him. No, the trembling rage came from the soul within Goku; mixing and melding with his emotional distress. Soft blonde hair gained a sickly green tint, shining emerald eyes faded away into blank white voids, and his teeth gritted so hard drool ran down his chin.
All while his hair grew outwards and his eyebrows receeded, electric ki dancing all across his body.
Two souls raged together in one body, and one person on the planet was the source of their malice.
"Make peace with yourself." Goku says calmly, despite how hard his teeth are clenched together. "For you die this day."
"My," the evil half of Android Twenty-One says, "this is definitely new—"
In an instant her abdomen caved inward, yielding before the enraged Saiyan's fist. The sheer impact of the blow destroyed everything behind her, leaving only a wide and impossible ravine in its wake.
The tide of blood that exploded out of Evil Twenty-One's mouth brought sick satisfaction to the monster in front of her—
In that same moment all power faded from Goku, causing him to collapse to one knee as the mysterious rage left him.
"Krillin… do it… now…" Goku says weakly, slipping on the android's blood into the bottomless pit he himself had made.
The Spirit Bomb, huge and unyielding in the face of ultimate evil, began its ultimate descent towards the planet, picking up speed as it traveled. The evil half of Twenty-One was holding her bloody stomach, wobbling to her feet as the regeneration kicked in—
"Neo Tri-Beam!"
—only to be blindsided by a prone Tien's last ditch attack. It took the last of his life force, and did practically no damage, but it made her stumble and shoved her back onto the ground.
Scrambling in her own blood, her black and red aura flares to life around her as she—
"Galactic Donut!"
—finds herself wrapped in bands of golden energy. They aren't strong, with Gotenks having so little ki from the waves, but Evil Twenty-One was too disoriented and hurt to notice the green barriers wrapped around them, the twin androids supplying their own mechanical energy to empower Gotenks's.
"Special Beam Cannon!"
A spiralling drill flies from the previously unconscious, presumedly dead Namekian's fingers. He'd been charging as much as he could, forcefully taking ki from the land around him in a desperate attempt to build up enough power to do any amount of damage.
His patience payed off, as it pierced through the monster's leg, forcing her back to the ground as the Spirit Bomb approached.
As the ultimate weapon against evil hit the planet, no one could see the Supreme Kai grab the good half of Twenty-One in the blinding white light, the soul flying into her, or the both of them vanishing as everything was wiped away.
One month later…
"Shenron! Hear me, and grant my wish!"
When all the Z-Fighters perished on the Supreme Kai homeworld, Twenty-One, the Suprem Kai Shin, and the nameless soul had gathered the Dragon Balls to summon the wish-granting dragon known as Shenron.
The only problem was that the Dragon Balls had already been used, and needed another month to reset their year-long timer.
So for that month Twenty-One grieved. She grieved for her son, for her new friends, and even her evil half to an extent. Shin helped to the best of his abilities, having known tragic loss himself, but it was his presence and the determined soul that still resided inside of the pseudo-Majin combined that managed to help her focus.
Shenron would bring them back, she just needed to be patient.
And so she sparred. Shin wasn't even in the top ten of strongest beings in Universe 7 anymore, but he was still far from being considered weak.
It was a distraction all of them needed, waiting for the return of the Z-Fighters.
The Z-Fighters made short work of the clones that tried stopping them. Without the ki-dampening waves the clones were only a real threat in large numbers. But there was one other problem.
Android Twenty-One was made automatically by only one of Doctor Gero's supercomputers, how many more were scattered throughout Earth?
With no hints to go off of, the resurrected warriors followed the pull from the soul in Twenty-One. It wanted to return to its body, even though the soul was confused as to where its body was or what its body even looked like.
But eventually they made their way into an underground mountain pass, fighting fodder clones as they made their way into a large, factory-like room. Vats containing clones lined the walls, the roof, and even the floor of the massive underground building, and at the center of it all was—
"Broly!?" Krillin says.
The soul in Twenty-One was getting antsy, pulling her towards the green vat in the room's center. It had heard its name, and thus now knew its name.
"Twenty-One, wait!" Goku says. "That's—"
"Broly." Twenty-One says, testing the name on her tongue and inspecting the naked and unconscious Saiyan, suspended in a clone vat. "Yes, that makes sense on why you're so compatible with everyone and can stay attached for longer than the standard time.
"You're a clone, an artificial soul… aren't you, Broly?"
AN(2): For anyone wondering about Chapter 23 of DB: Reincarnation Game, rest assured that I'm slowly working on it, but life and work have kept me really busy. I just wanted to get something like this out there because I had the thought, i"What if Bio-Broly was the nameless soul in Dragon Ball FighterZ?"
It's a really stupid thought, so naturally I wanted to run with it. Oh, and I'll try to keep Android Twenty-One alive as long as possible, but no promises.
If Twenty-One survives throughout the story, there will definitely be Broly/Twenty-One in this fic.
I'm not asking, I'm telling; make more Android Twenty-One fics!
Two last things, this Broly is a little different from DBZ Broly in one major regard, this one has no memories outside of what we see from the start of FighterZ. In addition I like to think that without his Legendary Super Saiyan power, the shy Broly with the crown is his default personality. The evidence I'm using for this is when Paragus first went to put the crown on him, as Broly's voice was very gentle on waking until the power got to his head.
I will 100% be having Broly serve as his own enemy in this, so look forward to that.
