Jay hadn't left Erin and their daughter's side since Erin gave birth, although Erin loved the company she knew Jay needed to go home and rest as well as shower, but he was too worried too.

The room was filled with toys, balloons and cards. Their little girl was already so loved. Hopefully if the next couple days went well they'd be able to go home, Erin was already sick of this place, she never was a fan of hospitals, neither was Jay.

She watched as Jay laid on the lounge next to Erin with his little girl. Erin couldn't help but stare, skin to skin contact was definitely a good sight, a sight of Jays she definitely missed. Quickly her thoughts were interrupted when Hank and Will walked in.

"Hey you three." Hank said as he walked to Erin giving her a kiss on the cheek then over to Jay.

"Find him wondering the halls, that little girl of yours already has quite the fan club." Will chuckled.

"Yeah she is already very loved, she's lucky." Erin smiled as she watch Hank pick the little girl of Jays chest, Jay quickly putting his shirt back on.

"So does she have a name yet? We can't keep calling her little Halstead, I'm surprised she even let her have your last name Jay." Hank said as Erin rolled her eyes.

"Well we didn't even really talk about it it just happened I guess." Jay shrugged as he looked at Erin cautiously hoping she was okay with their daughter having his nickname.

"It's fine, I don't like hyphened last names anyway." Erin smiled.

"So does she have a first name then?" Hank questioned looking down at the baby he held in his arms.

"We have a couple in mind, still trying to decide." Jay said.

"Well they won't let you leave unless the baby has a name so you better get cracking." Will said.

"Yeah yeah sure," Erin laughed, "Now on a serious note can someone please tell Jay to go home."

"Hey! I said I don't want to leave." Jay said getting defensive.

"Jay everything is fine now and honestly you need to shower...and shave." Erin stated.

Jay rubbed his face feeling the hair that had overgrown over the last couple days, "I thought you liked this?"

Erin raised her eyebrow and looked around the room, "Maybe, but that's too much."

"Fine, I will go home to shower...and shave. But then I'm coming straight back." Jay said as he started grabbing his things.

"Praise the lord." Erin chuckled, the others joining in.

After Jay left Erin was holding her daughter while Hank sat next to her reading the newspaper. He kept looking over at her with a suspicious look on his face.

"Hank what is wrong?" Erin questioned.

"Oh nothing." He said not looking up from his paper.

"Well it's something, you keep looking at me oddly." Erin said concerned.

"You and Halstead seem friendly."

"Seriously? I'm not doing this with you." Erin said bluntly as she carefully got up to put her daughter down in the bassinet.

"I'm just saying it doesn't seem as tense between the two of you, what's going on?"

"Hank I just had his baby, we went through something big together so we are in a good space right now." Erin shrugged as she watched Hank stare at her suspiciously.

"Okay fine but can I just say something?" Hank asked carefully, she nodded, "Your in a baby bubble, the both of you. I just don't want you both to get caught up in it and then you suddenly want to move back to New York, it's only going to screw the both of you over and that girl of yours. You just need to make sure if you want to go down that road that you think about everything first."

"I know Hank, we both know. Trust me. That's another thing, what if I want to stay in Chicago, I have no job?" She said sadly.

"Leave it with me," Hank paused, "But I need to know now, are you sure? You can't turn around and change your mind, it's not going to be easy trying to get your job back."

"One hundred percent Hank, I don't want to leave. This little girl needs a family and all you guys are her family. I need my family." Erin said smiling.

Hank stood up and walked over to her, stretching his arms around her, "I'm really glad your going to stay."

"Me too."

...

Later that day, Jay and Erin were in her hospital room, Jay had finally cleaned himself up but he was glad to be back. Even though he was only gone for a few hours his heart ached when he was away from them.

Jay was mesmerised as he watched Erin nurse their daughter, it was such a special amazing thing, "Your already a really good mum, you know that?"

Erin smiled as she stroked her daughters cheek, "I just hope I'm better then my mum," she sighed, "This is really amazing though isn't it, who would have thought we'd be here?"

"Tell me about it, so we gotta give her a name Er, we can't wait any longer." Jay said.

"Okay well, I picked her middle name so you get to pick the first name I said this?" Erin said frustrated, this had been such a long process.

"So Camille for her middle name? Or didn't you want Nadia?" Jay said confused, he couldn't keep up.

"I think Camille is a better option, Hank would be really happy." Erin smiled.

"This isn't about Hank though," Jay said as Erin rolled her eyes, "I think it would be really nice if we honoured Nadia, what if she had two middle names?"

"You'd really do that?"

"Erin, I can see how much Camille meant to you so I understand why you want to honour her but Nadia was also I big part of your life and mine, so I think it's only right."

"I'd really love that Jay." Erin smiled, as Jay was approaching they were interrupted by their daughter spitting up a little.

"Oh god, sorry. Guess she's done." Erin chuckled awkwardly.

"Here I will take her." Jay said as he carefully picker her up, starting to burp her.

"Your already a pretty amazing dad to you know." Erin said as she admired how Jay was with their daughter.

"What about Lillian?" Jay asked as he watched Erins eyes light up.

"Jay it's beautiful."

"It was my mother's name." Jay smiled as he looked down at his daughter.

"She'd be so proud of you, you know that." Erin said as she gestured for him to come sit with her, he walked slowly and sat next to Erin on the bed. Slowly their baby was placed in Erins arms as jay wrapped his around Erin.

"This little girl is named after three amazing women." Erin smiled.

"She sure is and she also has a pretty amazing mum." Jay smiled.

"Lillian Nadia Camille Halstead, it's perfect."
