Richmond, Virginia...
I am almost 15 years old. A lot has happened in the past 10 years since being in this town. Met some good people, met some bad people, helped here and there, trained a whole lot, and visited the local library without too many issues. At first, I had no idea what to do for training, and I really did not have a good grasp on how to train the abilities I had. I could not remember everything about Clark, like how he trained himself and what he was capable of during his youth. I also realized that my wish technically did not make me Clark. He could not absorb certain stars, and if he did, he ended up in a bad state. I obviously had no means to test this as Earth only had one sun. Luckily, this sun gave me Clark's basic abilities like the God had said. I am thankful he gave me a list of Superman's abilities. I did not even know he had some of these, like microscopic vision and the aura that popped on when I first awoke to my X-Gene. Anyways let us get a summary of everything I have done up to this point.
My first priority was to get my home built and get myself acquainted with the local area. I first hopped onto the beams that held the bridge up and noticed that I was spot on in my assumption of the height I would have when living here. It did deviate a bit when you got closer to the wall that held up the beginning of the bridge. Still, starting at about ten feet away, I could stand up pretty easily and had room to grow. Now I was going to go out and find a construction area or some type of scrap yard where I could find board or metal sheets. I went out and found a particularly tall building nearby and thus climbed it. As I used my enhanced vision to look around the area, I found a few different housing projects, a construction project on a building nearby, and a scrapyard that seemed to be full of cars and other types of scrap metal. I skipped by the scrapyard and noted it down for later as there did not seem to be metal sheets laying around. So, I made my way over to the construction site, but I did not seem to find anything that I needed other than some reed bars I could use to nail my floors down. After dropping the reed bars off, I went towards the housing projects, and no sooner did I show up, I could find some sturdy flooring for the houses. They were also neatly stacked up and tied together.
'It is like they were waiting for me to get here.' I thought as I went and grabbed a stack of ten boards. I did not need anything too big or eye-catching. I also grabbed some four-by-fours to help support the flooring. I made a couple trips for the extra four-by-fours I would need and then started on my home.
I lay the flooring over two beams that held them up, but the middle would sag, and any weight on them would cause them to fall. That is where the four-by-fours and reed bars came into play. I was able to push the four by fours into the beams like they were being squeezed in between. I then folded the reed bars around the shaft into a hole I made with my finger in the flooring and around the beam to hold everything up. I put two four by fours and four reed bars per flooring panel. I only used six-floor panels, so my home was about 15 feet by 20 feet. I then calculated, very quickly, how many more boards I would need to wall off the complete structure and came to seven. I only had four left, so I left to grab three more. Putting the walls up took a bit more time as I had to climb up and threads the reed bars through two boards side by side, make sure they fit snugly between the wall and the top beam, and take off any extra I did not need. When it was time to make a door, I just poked many holes in the board until it finally resembled a door. It took about a year to be fully furnished with things I found outside of residences. Some had a free sign on them, some had the 'five-finger' discount sign on them. At least I saw the sign. Fully furnished, I was able to get carpet, some wall posters, a dresser with clothes I totally did not steal, and a small ass bed. It was cozy, at least to me.
During the time it took for me to finish my home, I was able to stop a few muggings and then mugged the muggers. They usually did not have much on them, but it was enough to get some food. The first time I went into the grocery store was a trip. I totally looked like I was nine or ten, but the check-out lady asked where my parents were. I was able to get by telling her that my parents were in the car having a fight like usual. I think I could play it off, but she followed me out to the parking lot on a cell phone, with whom I was expecting to be the cops. I was able to weave through the cars to lose her. Still, she has my description now, and so do the cops, most likely, so my options were numbered now to stealing food instead of paying for them like a normal human being. I did notice that I needed less and less actual food consumption. Since the sun nourished me, I did not need outside nourishment, such as food or water. This was a good thing because it lowered stuff I needed to do, but I loved to eat, and I do not think I will be giving that up. Food was king to me.
During the next few years, I focused on my training. I first started training in the forest; I would weave through the trees, speeding up my speed. This was able to train my perception, my reflexes, and my speed. I would find boulders that I could lift and started to sort them depending on weight. In the beginning, I was not able to lift too heavy, but that started to change exponentially through the years. I began to think that the absorption of the nourishing rays would then increase how much I would absorb later. It was like a banking system, put 100 dollars into a savings account, and the following month it would increase by a bit. The higher the amount in the bank meant the higher the growth rate. I thought that this is that 'potential' thing God gave me. The codex, I believe he said. Eventually, I was able to toss boulders, and I even uplifted a big tree. I just wanted to see how strong I got as I know pulling out a tree, roots, and all required massive strength. I could not do this until I was twelve, but knowing I could, made me feel all giddy, not going to lie.
Eventually, training went to the nearby scrapyard. I had to be careful here as this place was owned by someone, and I was trespassing. So, I only came out here in the middle of the night, as I usually slept during the day. When I wanted to sleep, that is, this was quickly done. This is where I figured out that I could spread the aura surrounding me to surround another object. It seemed to be easier to do with metal objects. It made sense since the God named this Bio-Electric Aura. I believe this gave Superman the ability to lift cumbersome objects without them bending or just falling apart in his hands. Almost like tactile telekinesis. This led me to train this, and the way I found, was like Naruto's leaf training exercise, only with metal. I would gradually increase the amount of metal. Eventually, I was able to lift one of the beat-up cars in the yard.
That is how the first few years of my life went in my new home.
