Hiya guys. This is the third chapter for this story. Thanks for the wonderful reviews!

Oh, and before I forget, I wanted to respond to the reviews I received...

Sdohshi Designer, you posted a review for She sure is cute. About that, I'm not so sure about writing further(I don't know that much about pregnancy); but I might take up on that, but it'll probably be later on. I might make it into a two-shot when I'm up for it...

Mariiiiah, viktorya-kudryashova2002mail, Jui2014, adriana ayuzawa, Sdohshi Designer, laurencemendozaodi, Hxxb260, Padfoot Starfyre and mazes, thank you guys so much for the wonderful Reviews.

As for the others, thank you so much for your support!(they are guest reviews, so...)

I hope you continue to support me for the rest of my stories...

Sorry for the late response*sweat drop*

Now, let's get on to the story!

I don't own Maid Sama! or any of its characters.

Who is that?

"Um, Takumi?"

He looked back at Tamami, who had a worried look on her face.

"Do you think they're….you know…..together?"

At the comical look of horror on his face, mouth agape, she grinned, and said, "No, of course not. I mean, why would she come to the café every single day of the week, alone, if they were dating?"

"Mmhm. Right. And you totally had to say that word."

"What word?"

At her innocently wide eyes and pout, he looked at her with a deadpan look.

"I'm not doing this today, Tamami."

She grinned again, and he turned away to look at the table in the far corner, shoulders slumped.

"I wonder what they're talking about."

"Me too, sis, me too."

The man was still there.

It was half an hour already! Why wasn't he leaving?!

"Hooookay, Takumi. Deep breath in, deep breath out. And repeat. Don't go ripping his head, that'll leave a bad impression. Don't lose your cool, don't lose your cool, don't lose your cool…."

"Tamami."

"Yeah?"

"Could you shut up for a bit?"

"Ooh, sure sweetie. Just don't rip your hair off with frustration. Unless, that is, you wanna impress your girl with a bald head."

"…."

"Okay, shutting up."

Takumi sighed. The man was talking to the amber-eyed girl, as if he were pleading with her. To Takumi, it was rather weird; a man of his type wouldn't normally do that. He'd just order people around like they were servants, not even baring them a side glance.

But this guy seemed to genuinely care about her, and that did not settle well in his stomach. Instead, it gave him an odd feeling, as if he were about to throw up any time soon.

Wasn't love all about having butterflies in your stomach, and not a zoo?

Tamami was feeling rather uneasy too. She kept glancing over at her twin, worried about how he was feeling. He was not looking good. More like he was about to throw up, actually.

This guy had to leave. And soon.

Tamami handed over a milkshake to another customer with a strained smile, and then looked up in time to see the guy leaving. Then she glanced over at Takumi, to see him staring at her.

She looked over to the table, where the girl was sitting, lost in thought.

"…Takumi?" she said softly, trying not to upset him.

He turned around, looking very upset.

Tamami weighed the extent of what her next words could imply, biting her lip. If she implied that the two might be dating, Takumi might just withdraw and bottle up his feelings so that he wouldn't hurt any relationships. Takumi was impulsive sometimes, but not a heartbreaker. But if she implied that there might not be a relationship, then he might get his hopes up again. But what if he was just setting himself up for heartbreak then?

"Why don't you just talk to her, and find out?"

"How?"

He sounds so desperate, she thought.

"Use your head, Takumi. Just ask her in such a way that you get your answer, but you don't come across as nosy to her."

"When its closing time?"

"Yeah."

"Okay."

Tamami slung her arm across his shoulders, and said, "Takumiiii! Don't make such a sad face as if you were already rejected. Where's the guy who always likes to be a tease, eh? Man uuup!"

He chuckled, amused by his sister's way of cheering him up. "Right."

Customers filed out of the shop one by one, some telling a goodbye to the twins before heading out. They were people who had known the previous owner of the shop, the one who had left the café to the twins' care before he died.

Remembering the old man, Takumi smiled, recalling the good memories they had made with him. He'd treated us like we were his own grandkids….

Tamami broke him out of his thoughts.

"Now's your chance, I think."

Takumi had reverted to his old self with Tamami consoling him; and had served the rest of the customers without a glitch; which Tamami was glad for.

He glanced over to the corner table. She was still there, absorbed in her book. He smiled.

"Yeah."

Walking over to her table, he saw Tamami slipping into the back of the shop and closing the door lightly behind her. Rolling his eyes (what did she think they were going to do?) he sat down at the table in the seat across from, which jolted her out of her book.

She looked at him for a minute, as if studying him; like she were contemplating whether to talk or not.

After a few seconds, she seemed to realise that she had been staring at him with a dazed look on her face; her eyes widened and a slight blush covered her cheeks.

"I uh….sorry, I didn't mean to do that."

"No problem."

Then she looked at her watch, and suddenly sat up straight.

"Oh man, I should set up an alarm or something. I mean seriously, you guys probably hate me for just sitting here without ordering anything. I'm so sorry-"

"Hey, no, of course not! Why would we hate you for that? I mean, this café is built for people to relax, and enjoy some peace. You don't have to be sorry, or anything! And we don't really mind talking to customers every once in a while, so there's absolutely no problem in coming to call you."

Her eyebrows had risen up considerably; and by the end of his speech, she stayed quiet for a bit; until she chuckled.

Ooh, her smile again.

He smiled back, the corner of his eyes crinkling. But then he remembered what had happened earlier, and sobered up. Sensing his mood change, she quietened, waiting for him to talk.

"I saw you were quite upset earlier, when that man had visited you. Is there something I could do?"

Her eyes had widened again; and then she relaxed, and smiled at him.

"No, nothing's wrong. He's just a friend who's concerned about me coming to this café so often."

"Oh. Oookay?"

He tilted his head, trying to make out what this jerk wanted to do with this shop.

"Oh, Tora is just really insistent about me visiting my family."

"Your…..family?"

"Oh, uh, it's nothing really…..Oh, I'm so sorry!"

She suddenly stood up, chair scraping back, and bowed; startling the wits out of Takumi.

"I'm Misaki Ayuzawa! I'm sorry for not introducing myself earlier…."

Chuckling, he rose up and bowed.

"Ahah, right. I'm Takumi Usui. Nice to meet you too."

They both straightened up at the same time; and then smiled at their synchrony.

"Well, I'm sorry for taking up your time. I'll be leaving now."

"Yeah, no problem at all. I'll see you tomorrow, then."

She stayed silent for a bit, looking at him.

"Yeah, tomorrow."

She turned around and walked out of the shop; but not before she turned around with a small smile and a wave. He waved back, with a large toothy grin of his own.

But what Takumi didn't notice was the hint of sadness playing in her smile.

If only he knew what she was thinking at that moment.

If only.

If only indeed. What do you think was going through her mind?

Haha, I'm starting to think that I might just leave every chapter as a cliffhanger in this story...

Oooor maybe not. You guys will probably murder me if I do that...

Anyway, please review!
