Chapter 14
A little later, we walk into the clubhouse with Gemma and we are all smiling. "How's the kid?" Opie asks as he walks up to us and we smile more. "Kid's fine. Both of them." Jax says and Opie looks at him confused for a second before Lyla smacks his arm and wraps me in a hug. "Congrats Eva." she tells me and I can't help but smile. "What's going on?" Clay asks. "You feel like being a grandpa again?" I ask and he smiles wide and says "Hell yeah baby girl." before pulling me into a hug. "How far along are you?" Lyla asks. "Seven weeks." I tell her and my sister walks over. "I'm gonna be an aunt." she tells me and I start laughing. She looks at me and smiles wide and says "Are you going to tell mom and dad?" she asks. "No. No reason to." I tell her and Jax looks at me confused. "Why don't you want to tell them?" he asks and Tig sees it in my eyes. "If you ain't family, get out!" he yells and everyone leaves but family. "What is it?" Jax asks. "We've not spoken to our parents in almost eight years. They wanted to arrange marriages for us and the guys they wanted us with, wanted to share us with their friends. We didn't want that so when they said we had to do what they said or get out, we left. We've only really had each other since...until now." I tell them. They nod their understanding and Clay looks at me and says "We're your family now. That's all that matters."
A little later, we are at home and Jax pulls me to sit on the couch. He pulls me into his lap and holds me close, his hand going to my stomach. "Are you okay?" he asks. "Yeah. Just...I'm grateful for the family I have now. You guys accepted me and my sister, no questions asked." I tell him. He cups my face and says "Is that part of why you were so hesitant about staying married to me?" he asks. I nod. "Not just that but...we were told all of our lives that they would pick a husband for us and that we were to do what our husbands told us to do. We grew up watching our mother, take man after man to their bedroom and she always looked ashamed when she came out. We didn't want to live like that but you...you have never made me feel like you would ever treat me like that and I know that Juice makes my sister feel the same way." I tell him. He kisses me softly and says "We would never treat you two like that." I put my forehead to his and whisper "I love you Jackson." He smiles that smile I love so much and says "I love you too."
I stand from his lap and take his hand. I pull him from the couch and lead him to our bed before pushing him down and straddling him. He turns us over and we start to shed clothes. He kisses his way down my body and when he gets to my stomach, he places soft kisses before looking up at me and moving back up to kiss me. "Thank you." he whispers. I look at him confused and he says "For accepting Abel. For our new baby. For staying married to me." I kiss him and say "Thank you for saving me." He looks at me confused this time and I say "You showed me that you weren't like other men. You love me and support me and you and our kids are everything to me." He kisses me again before hovering over me and entering me slowly. He makes love to me nice and slow before we both find our release and I fall asleep in his arms.
Waking up the next morning, I slip out of bed and start breakfast. I'm scrambling the eggs when I feel Jax's arms wrap around me and he places a soft kiss to my bare shoulder. "Good morning." I say softly. "Morning Darlin'." he says. I grab the plate off the counter and start plating our food before handing him the plates to take to the table while I get our drinks. We sit down to eat and he pulls my feet into his lap and rubs my feet while we eat.
After eating, he heads to the garage and I head to see Abel before going to open the shop. My sister came in to help me for the day to help me get ready for the grand opening when we hear the door chime. "I'm sorry but we're not open just…." I stop mid-sentence when I see who walked in the door. "Daddy?" my sister asks and I'm just standing there in shock.
