(A/N: So so sorry, everyone. Major loos of inspo for this, which resulted in Barry being stuck with Pan for about 3 years in real time, lol. This will be the final chapter.)

Emma's pov

It didn't take long for us to realize something was wrong. My grandson had been gone for far too long, and even Gold spoke up

"This is not good at all. Is the kid even alive at this point?"

Despite my grandson being in his mid-twenties, compared to Gold's real age, calling Barry a child was not too far off. To my surprise, despite her mending her ways, Regina spoke next

"Something's not right, we need to go rescue him. The journey to Pan's hideout is long, we should leave before nightfall."

Dad spoke next

"Do we even have a plan? Not all of us are versed in magic, and I'm not sure bullets or bows and arrows will do anything to him."

Taking command of the situation, I replied

"Let's set sail on the Jolly Roger, she'll get us there faster. And Gold, Regina and I will confront him with magic, the rest of you divert and rescue. The three of us should be able to stand against him and hold our own together."

They all agreed with my plan, Mom even adding

"Barry's family. And love? That's the most powerful magic of all."

And with that, we were off, a journey worth three days going and three days returning awaiting us, not to mention the battle.

Once we got there, Pan immediately came out to confront us, passing through the visible magical barrier as if there were nothing guarding his cave. Oh boy, here it comes... As I predicted, he began his tyrannical ranting and taunting.

"You think you can go up against me and win?! Alrighty then. Time to play."

Those last three words had been the ones uttered years ago to my son, Barry's father, Henry. The connotation behind such words was far from innocent. But we were prepared. Going toe to toe with his father, Gold started the fight using magic. Regina and I soon joined in, and Pan was beginning to struggle, getting angrier in the process.

Unbeknownst to him, some of the other family members took advantage of the weakened barrier and fought their way inside. I could tell Mom and Dad were starting to set Barry free. This was working well. Too well. Was this part of the plan in Pan's mind? Were we merely pawns in his game? Before I had much time to ponder, Barry, Mom and Dad came out, Pan still apparently unaware. Away from the power dampening cuffs, Barry had all his powers back, delivering the final blow himself. What he called a super sonic punch. He could take down even a speedster or someone who could turn to metal if he went at just the right speed from a distance of 5.3 miles. Once Pan was properly arrested and contained, we began the three day journey back to Storybrooke, for some more peaceful family time.
