The lights shone in her eyes as she grabbed a few items for her lunch Quinn hadn't been in this supermarket in over fourteen years. She never imagined she would be back but London has always been her home and this work trip was beginning to prove it. The place was alive New York was amazing but London was home it has something else. Something felt right here.

Quinn turned towards from her favourite snacks Battenberg cakes and smiled America doesn't have these that's for sure. She grabbed a pack and spun around her hair tied in a bun meant the blonde waves were controlled.

"Shit sorry" she said as someone crashed into her falling to the ground. The women sighed and apologized clearly tired pushing her brown locks out of her face.

"I'm so sorry here's your cakes my daughter loves these" she says handing them back and looking at the woman she knocked off her feet. "Quinn" she stumbles backwards.

"Rachel, wow hi" she says picking herself up.

"You're back?"

"I am. Well, I kind of am. Wait what Daughter?" she asks confused.

"Yes, erm Liza" she says, she looks shocked and scared at the question Quinn always kept her off guard, but this was new.

"Yeah Mum", a young girl says rounding the corner of the isle her wavy blonde hair reaching her shoulders. Her face angelic and sweet yet her eyes held a seriousness. "Why is our food on the floor?" she asks bemused clearly Rachel had not got any less clumsy.

"Sweetie, hi erm help me pick these up." Rachel tries to get past her flustered ways she takes a second then looks back to Quin. "Quinn it's been a long time can we catch up.?" Quinn looked to the young girl and frowned as the girl looked at her and gave her a dirty look.

"Mum we're late to my football game we should go." She says clearly not wanting to talk to Quinn.

"Sweetie we will make it in time. Go que up I'll be over in a moment." Rachel says softly as her daughter walks to the till.

"How old is she?"

"Liza is 14 we really should talk. Quinn, I have a lot of explaining to do and I think you know why." Quinn does a double take her eyes not leaving Liza.

"You wouldn't have. You couldn't. How. No, you would not have done this."

"I was young, and I made mistakes and she's not one but the way I went about it was wrong. I thought about calling I."

"It's not possible. it can't be." Quinn cuts her off, but she already knows it is. The hair the eyes the look the way she cut her down in seconds.

"She's just like you" she says softly.

"She's mine biologically she's mine?" Quinn asks and Rachel nods her head and pauses for a moment.

"She's ours. I." she sees Quinn stop staring at Liza and turn to her. She knows that look it's the look she got when the argument was over. It's the look of shut up.

"Stop talking, give me your number I'll call you. I have to go I have a work meeting." Quinn ends the conversation just like Rachel thought she would she never handled surprises well.

"Still a workaholic I see" Rachel says as Quinn hands her a business card.

"You don't get to judge me right now. Please now is not your finest moment this is not at all okay. I can't do this right now."

"Quinn please talk to me before making any rash decisions. I was going to tell you I tried a few times over the years, and I was going to tell you before she went to college. I."

"Oh, thanks I missed most of her life but hey no problem I got college years. When she's done with parents. Probably hates them at that point."

"I raised our daughter perfectly."

"No, you didn't you lied, and I have every right to sue you and take custody of her does she even know me!"

"Kind of. We, she knows of you."

"Great, am I auntie Quinn, I'll call you don't call me." Quinn says walking out without buying a thing. She looks at Liza while leaving and frowns as the young girl glares at her. Hours later after she finished work Quinn picks up the phone and calls Rachel as the phone rings she holds her breath and awaits for her voice.

"Hello Rachel speaking."

"Hi it's Quinn."

"Hi" she sighs and waits.

"We should talk."
