Today was Lily's birthday and then the following weekend it was their one year wedding anniversary. They had a party planned for Lily at their house and then for their anniversary they had planned to take a trip to Hawaii, somewhere warm and Erin couldn't be more thrilled when Jay suggested it.

Erin made her way out to the kitchen where Jay and Lily were, "Goodmorning birthday girl."

"Mummy, 'ts my birthday." Lily squealed excitedly.

"It sure is! You ready for your presents?" Erin picked her daughter up, letting a quiet wince out. Jay looked at her worried, "I'm okay, this ones just getting a little heavy."

"Sure?" He questioned.

Erin nodded then put her attention back on her daughter, "Present time Lil bear, yay!"

She sat Lily on the ground in front of her birthday presents, Lily barely waited to be on the ground before she got straight into unwrapping them, Jay sat down with a coffee on his hand as he watched his daughter unwrap all of them, Erin curled up into his side, "Look daddy it's Elsa!" She said holding up an Elsa doll.

Erin laughed, her daughter had a crazy obsession for the show and Jay hated it, especially when all he could think about at work was the 'Let it go' song. Jay squeeezed Erins side, "You had to get her that stupid doll didn't you?"

"Stupid, stupid, stupid." Lily said copying her father.

Erin shit Jay a look, "Seriously Jay?"

He shrugged, "Sorry. What else do you have Lil bear?"

They watched as Lily opened the rest of her presents, she got some more dolls, the sequel to the frozen movie which Jay was once again not impressed, colouring books, some lego, and some books. Jay was also intrigued with what Lily was getting, he was a typical male which meant Erin got all the presents, so he was just as surprised as his daughter.

Lily stayed on the floor playing with her new toys and being mesmerised by the new movie she had gotten, while Erin started preparing the food for the party, Jay came from behind her and wrapped his hands around her waist, "I'm surprised, you didn't spend toooo much money."

Erin chuckled, "We have another baby on the way, can't be spoiling her too much."

"If you say so."

"Besides, I'm sure Hank will have a big expensive gift for her again this year, remember that extravagant doll house she got last year?"

Jay nodded, "He spoils her way to much."

"And you don't?"

"Shut up woman." Erin flicked him with the tea towel she was holding, his mouth dropped open as he grabbed one that was on the bench, "Oh it's war."

Erin squealed and ran around the corner getting away from Jay, he started to chase her but then there was a loud knock on the front door and then it opened, "Hey it's just me."

Once Lily heard the voice she stood up from her spot and raced towards the door, "Grandpa!"

Hank bent down and opened up his arms as Lily crashed into them, "Hello birthday girl."

"Grandpa look!" She said lifting her Elsa doll up in the air for Hank to see.

"Wow! Grandpa got you something too." He said passing her a gift, "You have to be careful, walk slowly to the couch please."

Lily nodded and grabbed Hanks hand as they walked to the couch. Erin and Jay followed behind then, "Whatcha got Lily?"

Lily raised her arms up in an 'I don't know' gesture, as she unwrapped it, Jay and Erin both shot Hank a look when they realised what it was, an iPad. Jay started to speak, "Hank we spoke about..."

"Thanks Hank." Erin said cutting Jay off.

"Mummy look, but what is it?" Lily said holding up the present.

Erin chuckled and went and sat down next to Lily, sitting her on her lap, "Well Lil bear, it's like a little tv. You can watch movies on there, colour in, play games..."

"Colour in!" She said enthusiastically.

"Yes princess."

But like any child she was soon over all her presents and was hungry, "Mummy can I pwease have a cookie?"

"Sure thing sweetheart, how about you go with daddy to get dressed while I get you something to eat?" She said putting Lily down on the ground.

"Otay." She nodded and made her way Jay who picked her up and walked off to get her ready.

"How's the baby going?" Hank asked as he followed Erin to the kitchen.

She rubbed her palm on her belly, "He's good. Jays so excited to be around this time but he can be a little overwhelming sometimes."

He laughed, "You guys all sorted for you little holiday?"

"Yeah, thanks again for looking after Lily while we are gone. Well you and Will. You's are great and she loves spending time with you too."

"Don't mention it, I love it too. It gets a little lonely sometimes at home."

Erin frowned, "We should come around more for dinners."

Hank waved her off, "Erin I'm fine, the Sunday nights you do come around are great, that's enough for me."

"Maybe you should soak up the quietness while you can anyway, having two little ones running around is definitely going to be a handful."

"It's going to be great though, but then again a mini Jay? Good luck with that." He laughed.

They both fell backwards onto the bed exhausted, "What a day."

"Who knew a 2 year olds birthday party was going to be so exhausting." Jay said.

Erin scoffed, "You were the one that wanted to get a jumping castle."

"And was it not fun?" He said perching up on his elbow, "Well I guess you didn't get to have a turn but it was a hit with everyone else."

"Your such a big kid, you and that brother of yours." She said rubbing her hand through his scruff.

"You love me."

"Yeah I guess." She said getting up off the bed.

"Hey!"

"Okay, I love you too. You know that."

"You better."

"I'm going to go have a shower, care to join maybe?" Erin said raising an eyebrow as she stripped off her clothes slowly.

"Sure, just give me a sec to make sure the house is all locked up and that daughter of ours is all tuckered out."

"Don't be too long." She laughed as she slipped into the ensuite.

As she started running the shower she didn't realise the next five minutes of her life were going to change everything.

Sorry for the cliffhanger guys! Also sorry for what's to come, but I feel like it's been to calm lately. Need to put a little drama in here, don't hate me too much!
