Day 6: The Special senses

Title: The show must go on

"I can't believe you're making me do this" Sasuke said in a grumpy tone, tapping one of his feet in exasperation, waiting impatiently for Hinata to finish putting on her makeup so that he could finish with it all.

"I didn't force you, you agreed" she told him without paying much attention, more focused on applying the blush than on him.

"I don't remember that" he grumbled, wrinkling his nose because if he frowned more he would end up closing his eyes.

He did agree, it was at the preschool parent committee meeting. They had been planning the activities for a little spring festival for the children, a whole weekend of acts and games to entertain them for a few hours.

Everything was going well until a certain forbidden topic came up, and he clearly refused from the start, but Naruto, that crafty son of a bitch, had a beam up his sleeve.

Without understanding what was going on, he watched as the children's teacher -Who thought Naruto would make a good kindergarten teacher? He hoped he was in a psychiatric institution — walked to the door of the room attached to the classroom and opened it, letting out the horrible music that haunted him in his nightmares.

The small stampede of 2-3 year olds left the room and surrounded him, chattering excitedly, hugging him and bouncing off their feet's, seeking his attention.

Most of those kids had been scared of him just an hour ago, damn it!

But, before he could refuse, his gaze fell on the large, hopeful eyes of his baby, who was staring at him as if he had just discovered the cure for cancer.

"Of course I will" he replied without even thinking to his son's question, and the shouts of excitement - along with Naruto's annoying victory laugh - flooded the room.

Now, after two weeks of trying to get his son to forget the subject and fail, doomsday had arrived.

"I'm ready!" Hinata exclaimed, standing up and approaching him, wrapping her arms around his neck and dropping a small kiss on his lips "Cheer up, it will be fun, like in the old days"

"It was never fun for me" he complained, however he also hugged and kissed her until the knocks on the door interrupted them "Let's get this over with" he sighed.

They both left the room and joined the other three - Naruto, Sakura and Ino - of whom the two women seemed as annoyed as him, while Naruto and Hinata seemed to be the only ones excited about all that nonsense.

The annoying children's music started and he forced himself to smile, emerging behind the curtain that hid them from the dozens of small eyes and noisy mouths that exploded at the sight.

"Hi kids! We are Hi5! "
