Full Moon Hope
A letter had fallen from the full moon.
Guided by the moonlight, with its little blue wings, it flew to the sleeping face of that lonely man. There it rested for several minutes. It carried a message.
Since then that man radiated hope, his blue eyes shone brighter. Even in his last breath he knew that his heart's desire would be fulfilled.
It was another hundred years. The same blue eyes gazed at the full moon. Without knowing why, he felt drawn to it. He seemed to be waiting for something.
"The moon looks beautiful tonight, don't you think?"
That's what a violet-eyed young woman who suddenly appeared next to him said. She looked familiar, but without much time for a response from him she brought her hands to his face and kissed his lips.
"Thank you for waiting so long."
That's what she said to him, paralysed and surprised, but it was in that moment that his fondest memories returned. He hugged her to never let her go again.
"We will see each other again." was what that letter said.
