Pokémon the Series: Floral Future

Episode 1: Into the Future

The camera zooms around a high-tech, futuristic city, complete with tons of bright, shiny towers and almost alien-like buildings and structures, as tons of people and Pokémon wander around the city streets, quite a lot of them are brand-new to the viewers.

The wonderful world of Pokémon! Always a place full of intrigue and mystery! And right now, we are in a region of the world that is known for being one of the richest places in the world, both in terms of wealth and the Pokémon that live there! The Hapura Region!

Several scenes of various Pokémon living in different environments are shown. This includes a large orchid and cherry blossom filled forest with some Cherrim dancing around on the branches filled with pink flowers, as a few Seedot and Fomantis waddle around on the petals-covered ground.

Next is a traditional Chinese-style temple in the middle of a giant lake surrounded by a village, the temple is in the shape of a giant dragon's head, several fish-based and other Water type Pokémon are swimming around in the lake around the temple. A few Magikarp and Horsea splash around into the air before diving back into the water, as a Slowpoke sits idly by on the grassy edge near the various houses.

After that is a large, bustling shopping area, with tons of bright, neon lights everywhere and many signs, as well as a ton of large casinos alongside many orchid plants lined up in the gardens nearby. Finally, the camera swoops over some enormous technological trees that shine brightly with various colours such as green and purple, their metallic branches swoop down across a giant safari zone filled with tons of Pokémon roaming around, including some Oranguru, Sandshrew and even some Togekiss, soaring across the skies near the giant futuristic trees.

The Hapura Region truly is a marvellous creation of both nature and technology, bringing in tons of different cultures and people from other nearby regions! And this futuristic land gives way to many grand adventures for anyone looking to discover new things in this small but bountiful region!

The camera finally pans down and slowly hovers over a small village filled with many old, wooden houses, though quite a few of them are rather new and advanced, many of them sharing the same white and light brown colour scheme.

"Shuo!" A woman calls from downstairs in a bright, sparkling white kitchen, filled with tons of futuristic machines and utensils. She places her hands on her hips and stamps her foot on the floor repeatedly as she glances up at the small escalator going to the second floor. "It's time to come downstairs! It's morning and it's breakfast time!"

This here is Shuo. A young boy who lives with his mother, Holea, in the small town of Besha in the Hapura Region. In the Hapura Region, tons of people love and adore Pokémon, however, Shuo is a person that doesn't like Pokémon at all! And is rather lazy too.

"What is it?!" Shuo sighs huffily to his mom, his face half-hidden by his large pillow, and his spiky blue hair, most of which stuck over his face, bristled against the bed. "I'm busy sleeping!"

"Good grief," His mother sighs, holding a hand up to her forehead before glancing down at a small Pokémon next to her. "Think you can wake him up, Guarbark?"

Guarbark is a small dog-like Pokémon that resembles a Pekingese puppy. It has several ancient and mystic markings and patterns on its body, and a big, goofy tongue hanging out the side of its mouth, with two little fangs poking out of either end of its mouth too. It has big floppy ears on either side of its head and overall, looks like a giant, fluffy walking pillow with tiny legs and a big fluffy tail.

"Bah bah!" The small Pokémon barks up happily to her, before it waddles up the escalator with its stubby, little legs and it saunters over to Shuo's bedroom, and then it bounces up to his bed and starts yapping loudly at him, dancing around all over him.

"Bah! Bah, bah, bah!"

"Alright, alright, I'll get up!" Shuo huffs at his mom downstairs before sighing and looking down at Guarbark. He begins to reach down to pat it before he shakes his head and gets out of bed, before he stumbles over to his wardrobe, and swipes his hands in mid-air in front of the two doors before they open automatically, his various clothes either neatly piled up on the bottom shelves or hanging up on holographic coat hangers.

Shuo eventually changes out of his pyjamas and changes into his regular clothes, which consist of a shiny and clean silver jacket with gold trimmings round the sleeves, and going up from the arms to the shoulders, flashy dark red jeans and white and blue trainers.

Before long, Shuo's mother is busy preparing breakfast in the kitchen, occasionally glancing at a large holographic television next to a few pure white, metallic chairs around a table.

Shuo stumbles down the escalator and lands at the bottom with a thud, as Guarbark waddles up alongside him and licks his face.

"Oh, decided to get up finally?" His mother tuts as she continues to make breakfast, Shuo gets himself up off the floor, before slumping down on the chairs near the TV.

"Mom, I keep telling you." Shuo groans. "I'm not interested in being a Pokémon Trainer, I don't care about Pokémon."

"Now what kind of attitude is that to have?!" His mother fumes at him. "Your father was a great Pokémon Trainer and was known around the region for his great battling skills! You're basically insulting him by not wanting to follow in his footsteps! You used to love Pokémon and wanted to be a Trainer when you were little, I don't know what's changed in you!"

Shuo groans and slumps his head onto the table face-first.

His mother sighs before calming herself down as the two of them glance at the television screen before looking back at each other.

"Well… the other reason I want you to be a Pokémon Trainer is to find your father…" His mother sighs sadly as she sits down next to her son. "You remember that he disappeared without a trace a few years ago and I've wanted to find him ever since. Though, I've been really busy in the house with tons of things to do. So, I haven't been able to go look for him. That's why I was hoping you would become a Trainer so you could help look for him. Go explore the region, might also get you to open up more to other people as well as get you to like Pokémon more."

Shuo looks down at his feet and says nothing, not sure what to add to the conversation.

The silence is finally broken once there is a ring on the doorbell. Shuo's mother gets up from the table and walks over to the door and opens it up to find a small robotic Pokémon standing at the front doorstep. It is a small, spherical shape with two cone-shaped arms on either side that look like small, electric coils with a small orb at the end of both arms. It has tiny, cylindrical legs that appear on the bottom and top of it. It has a digital interface in the middle of the sphere where a robotic face appears.

"Delivery for you!" The little robot Pokémon waves up to Shuo's mother with a friendly, robotic voice, as it hands her a holographic envelope which floats up to her.

"Thanks very much, Robotyke!" Holea smiles happily as takes the holographic letter in her hand.

"Hope to see you again!" The robot Pokémon waves goodbye to her before it rolls away down the street.

Shuo's mother glances down at the holographic envelope as she holds it in her hand and walks back into the house, before closing the door behind her.

"The Robotyke Delivery Service is so super handy." She chuckles before walking back inside the house, swiping her hand across to open the door and then once again to close it behind her.

"Shuo! This letter came for you!" His mother calls to him as she waltzes into the kitchen and lets the letter hover over to Shuo before he grabs it in his hand and swipes over it before pressing a few things on the holographic screen before the letter opens itself and shows an invitation with a lengthy paragraph on it with a picture of a smartly dressed man in a shiny lab coat, alongside an address and a picture of a large school next to it.

"Oh goodie… an invitation to the Pokémon Trainer's School… and Professor Tembusu will be there… fun…" Shuo slumps further down into his chair.

"Well, I think it would be a great start for your journey to go to it." His mother retorts. "You could start to learn about Pokémon battles there, and maybe even get your first Pokémon. Plus, Professor Tembusu is a very intelligent man who was good friends with your father. I think it would be good for you to go there, you might even make some new friends."

Shuo looks like he's about to say something else, but he glances up at his mother who looks like she's about to retort back with something else to what he might say, and he sighs defeated before getting up from his chair.

"Fine… I'll go there…" He groans, but not before his mother pushes him back down onto his chair.

"That's fantastic! But you should have breakfast first! I made your favourite as well!" His mother beams happily, as she

After finishing his breakfast, Shuo looks back at his mom and gives a wave goodbye to her before he slowly shuffles to the door and swipes his hand to the side as the door opens for him.

"Do your best, Shuo!" Holea calls to him as he walks away from the house into the distance.

As Shuo makes his way through the small village streets, he passes by a few people and Pokémon hanging out together either in their back gardens or just walking along the streets together.

"Pokémon are so boring, why does anyone around here find them so interesting?" He groans before he glances down at the holographic letter in his hand before looking back up at the path ahead of him.

Finally, he arrives at the entrance to the Trainer's School. A small, floating sign hovering over by the entrance reads 'Besha Town Trainer's School'.

"Here we go…" Shuo tuts as he glances back at the street leading up to the school and then looks back at the sign to the school as he walks through the main entrance.

As he walks into the playground in front of the school, just behind it is the main school building. Several other young children are waiting in line behind a small stand, in which a woman is seated with a register in her hand, just in the front doors to the school.

All the children are talking to each other whilst waiting in line, the majority of them are very excited.

"I'm gonna learn every single thing I can about Pokémon!" A young boy exclaims to a girl.

"I wonder what kind of Pokémon I will meet?" Another girl says to two girls behind her.

Shuo glances at the line of other children in front of him and sighs again, though only very slightly interested in their conversations.

As the queue starts to get shorter as the children all walk into the school, another young boy dressed in a white and red hoodie, styled in the design of a Poke Ball, with the top half being red and the bottom half being white. He also has half red and white sleeves too, two red stripes on the white parts of his sleeves. He also has beige jeans and has a white beanie sitting atop his brown hair that has various curls in it.

As he stands behind Shuo, he glares around the building, trying to concentrate on something, though once he finds it isn't there, tuts, and goes back to fuming at the queue ahead of him.

"Can you losers hurry up? I've got places to be!" He snaps, stamping down on the floor with a single foot, his arms folded in a huff.

"Can you keep quiet? I'm tired enough as it is without someone like you blaring into my ear?" Shuo groans.

"Tch. I didn't ask someone like you to reply to me." The boy growls in anger, looking away from Shuo, and going back to looking around the front of the school closely.

Eventually, Shuo makes his way to the front of the school's doors, and he hands over the invitation hologram to the lady at the stand.

"Ah! You must be Jiang's son! Welcome in!" The lady smiles brightly, to which Shuo gives a mixed look of both annoyance and confusion as he walks into the building.

Shuo looks around at the many other children either standing around the hallways or talking to each other near the lockers. As he strolls down the hallway, glancing down only once to check the specific classroom he needs to be in which has now been listed on the hologram in his hand, he notices another boy ahead of him near a few lockers looking rather lost and perplexed.

He has a slightly tanned skin colour, with bandages around his wrists, and spiky, grey hair. His outfit seems to resemble that of a samurai or a kimono almost, the colours being a mix of yellow, orange and black, but mostly green. He has a few gold chains around his neck on the black and gold suit he has underneath his green jacket, and he also has a golden traditional Poke Ball key chain on the side of his left shoulder, alongside what looks to be some sort of small piece of black samurai armour.

"Hey, you doing alright?" Shuo asks him.

"Wah-?! Oh! Ye-yeah! I'm doing alright!" The boy replies, darting his head down at the hologram before looking around the fancy and modern doors in the hallways around them.

"You know, this school isn't that big, and the classroom should be on your invitation now. Maybe I could help you find where you need to be?" Shuo offers.

"Oh um… thanks very much!" The boy replies, shaking Shuo by the hand. As he releases his grip, Shuo shakes his hand slightly due to the boy's fierce grip around his hand. "My name's Cheng! What's yours?"

"Shuo." Shuo replies simply, feeling both quite bored and annoyed by Cheng already before turning to walk down another corridor.

"So, have you been here before?" Cheng asks, as the two of them walk down the hallway together.

"No. I just think it's pretty easy to find your way around this place, even for a newbie." Shuo sighs, and the two of them stop outside a door to a classroom. Shuo swipes his hand to the side and the door opens, before the two of them step inside the classroom. Several other children are already there, sitting down in their fancy seats.

Shuo shuffles along to a table which has his name shown on a small holographic sign over the table and he sits down behind it.

Before he even gets to relax, Cheng rushes over and excitedly sits next to him.

"Why are you following me?" Shuo groans, glancing over at him.

"Haha! Because this is my seat! We can be like best buddies!" Cheng laughs heartily, lifting both his legs up and resting them on the table.

"So, how long have you been in Besha Town for?" Shuo asks after a while of silence.

"I'm not from around here." Cheng replies. "I'm from Yukarani Village. You know, the place also known as Dragon's Lake?"

"Never really been there." Shuo sits gloomily on his seat, glancing out of the window, at the houses lined up in the town outside.

"Man! I'm so pumped for this! I'm gonna be the best… no… the GREATEST Pokémon Trainer in this school!" Cheng declares with joy, and rather loudly too, to which Shuo cringes slightly at this, though doesn't say anything and just continues to tut in boredom.

"Well, Cheng, I'm so glad to hear you're so enthusiastic about this." A man chuckles as he strolls into the classroom and stands in front of the class in front of the large holographic 'blackboard'. The man is in fact Prof. Tembusu, in his typical shiny, white lab coat that drapes down to his ankles. He has a chiselled face with a short beard around his whole chin, and slick, combed back grey and white hair.

"So, what brings you here Cheng? I would have thought that you'd be back home doing your training there?" Prof. Tembusu muses.

"Well, I was going to, Professor, but my parents didn't think I was ready enough for my responsibilities, so they said I should come here to learn more about Pokémon. But I already know a lot so it should be easy!" Cheng grins gleefully.

Shuo raises an eyebrow at this but says nothing as he continues to stare outside in boredom.

"Well, good morning everyone!" Prof. Tembusu calls to the classroom.

"Good morning, Professor!" The various students reply in response, with Cheng saying it slightly louder, the boy from earlier saying it rather snarkily and quieter, and Shuo not even acknowledging the professor at all.

"Thank you so much to everyone that accepted the invitation that was delivered to them. I think it's now time for some lessons on how to be Pokémon Trainers, and to learn more about Pokémon!"

The class erupts into cheers and applause, Cheng loudest of all, though as per usual, Shuo says nothing.

Prof. Tembusu goes through a talk about Pokémon with the class and being a Pokémon Trainer, as the class listens on with intrigue.

"Pokémon can be found anywhere you look. In grassy fields, the oceans and lakes, forests, even in cities and towns, you'll find them there. Some people use Pokémon as pets, whereas others, especially most people in this region, use them for battling each other and growing together as a team. As for me, I specialise in the research of Pokémon as a professor." Prof. Tembusu explains.

"Now, let me give you an explanation of a Pokémon like this!" Prof. Tembusu exclaims as he sends out a Poké Ball from his glove pocket into the air. This Poké Ball is very similar to the typical Poké Ball design everyone is familiar with currently, though it is much more modern. It has a more seamless design, the black rim around the red and white halves is gone along with the button in the middle, and there are four small indents on the ball, two on the top and two on the bottom which glow red and white together.

As the Poké Ball bursts open, a white shining light is sent out of it as a Pokémon appears on the floor in front of the Professor. This Pokémon looks a lot like a red panda, whilst also sharing a lot of traits with Pikachu, namely the eyes, lightning bolt style tail and big round circles on its cheeks. It is a mix of a white, orange and yellow colour scheme and is rather plump and small. Tiny flames are flickering off of its stumpy ears and its tail, the occasional yellow sparks of lightning dancing from its cheeks too.

"Neeeezzz!" The little Pokémon stretches its front paws out and the majority of the students burst out with squeals of joy and many 'awwws'.

"This here is Nezukaj, the Ember Pokémon! An Electric and Fire type!" Prof. Tembusu explains to the class. "There are 18 different Pokémon types, and many different combinations of those types. These types also interact with each other in many ways. For example…" He points down towards Nezukaj. "Fire types like Nezukaj are strong against Grass types, and they are strong against Water types, which are strong against Fire types."

"But since Nezukaj is an Electric type as well, doesn't that mean it would be able to defeat Water type Pokémon, since Electric is strong against Water?" The boy from earlier points out.

"Ah yes! And you are…?" Prof. Tembusu asks.

"I'm Liwei." The boy replies, a blank expression plastered on his face now.

"Well yes, Liwei, you are correct. Using a move such as Thundershock against a Water type would be super effective and do more damage to your opponent's Pokémon. If you would all kindly follow me, I can show you all a demonstration of a Pokémon battle."

As Prof. Tembusu turns to leave the classroom along with Nezukaj strolling along behind him, the students all eagerly get up and follow along behind him, the last of these being Shuo.

"C'mon, Shuo! We gotta go see this!" Cheng eagerly shakes Shuo up from his seat, trying to pull him out of the classroom to follow after the other students.

"Ugh fine… if it gets you to calm down, I'll go with you…" Shuo groans as he gets up from his seat and allows Cheng to drag him out of the classroom after Prof. Tembusu and the other students.

"Tch, why on earth would the professor allow some sort of nobody like you in this place? You don't even know the first thing about Pokémon." Liwei laughs at Shuo as they all walk down the corridor.

"Is bragging the only thing you do to make up for your lack of a personality?" Shuo asks, a very slight grin forming on his mouth.

"You watch your tongue, punk!" Liwei snaps angrily at him, before glancing at a strange device in his hand, as he hovers it around the students and the various rooms they pass by before scowling again and placing it back in his pocket.

He strolls off snootily ahead of Shuo and Cheng, the latter of whom laughs heartily.

"Wow! You got him good!" Cheng chortles, Shuo tuts and continues to walk on in silence.

"You're not much of a talker, are you?" Cheng asks.

"Not really." Shuo replies.

Eventually, everyone reaches a large arena in the middle of the school, a large white outline is painted on the dusty, beige field, in the middle of which is a Poké Ball pattern.

"I don't think you're really that into Pokémon, are you?" Cheng asks Shuo.

"No, my mom made me come here. Says that it's better for me to be a trainer and to go on a journey to find my dad."

"Well, good luck with that." Cheng replies, patting him roughly on the back several times. Shuo rolls his eyes afterwards.

"Now, I have here three Poké Balls containing Pokémon that are used as starter Pokémon for beginning trainers. I would like one volunteer to come up and choose one, before facing me in a battle." Prof. Tembusu explains to the class.

"Ooh! Pick me, pick me!" Tons of the students shout out loudly to the professor.

"Hmm… we'll have… Shuo there!" Prof. Tembusu points over towards Shuo, who sits bolt upright, his hair stands up on end.

"Go on, buddy, go for it!" Cheng cheers, as he pushes Shuo up to his feet.

Liwei tuts huffily as he watches Shuo walk over to the three Poké Balls sitting on the desk nearby everyone else in the arena.

Prof. Tembusu presses a button on a small device in his pocket, and all three Poké Balls open at once.

Shuo gasps in surprise as he sees the Pokémon standing on the table before him once they are released from their Poké Balls.

All three of them are rather small and roughly around the same size as each other. The first one looks like a lime green tapir, with small, floppy ears on its head and a small, pudgy trunk-like snout. It has small stubby legs and a bushy collar around their neck, filled with leaves and twigs.

The second is a small snake-like creature. It is a mix of mainly dark blue and orange in colour, and it has a teardrop shaped head, a grumpy expression on its face with two small teeth on its mouth. It has a small yellow band around its tail, a small flame flickering off the end of it.

And the third Pokémon is a bright-blue monkey. It has a rather long tail, and medium-sized lengthy arms, the paws of which are coloured cream, as well as the face pattern on the head of the Pokémon. It has a round stomach and large feet with a cheeky grin on its face.

"Tapawn, Corslither and Mawter. These Grass, Fire and Water type Pokémon are the traditional Starter Pokémon here in the Hapura Region!" Prof. Tembusu explains to the class. "Choose one of them and then join me in this battle demonstration."

Shuo glances down at the three Pokémon looking up at him and groans, clearly not interested in the lesson, though tries to go along with the professor and pretends to be enthusiastic about it.

As he slowly walks past the three starters going from right to left, Mawter laughs at him and giggles as he passes it by, Corslither simply glares up at him and gives off a hissing sound, and then Shuo stops at Tapawn, who simply blinks at him before yawning tiredly.

"Guess I gotta go with you…" Shuo sighs before he picks up Tapawn and the Poké Ball in his arms and places Tapawn down on the arena in front of him and begins to walk back to sit down with the other students.

"You've still gotta battle me, Shuo." Prof. Tembusu chuckles, and a few of the other students titter with laughter.

Shuo tuts in annoyance and shuffles back over to the arena behind Tapawn.

"Right then, let's do this." He replies.

"Ok then! Go, Nezukaj! Use Ember!" Prof. Tembusu declares as Nezukaj leans its head back before firing off a high-speed flame from its mouth right at Tapawn.

As the attack flies across the arena towards Tapawn, it yawns again, and everyone looks over at Shuo, and await to see what he does next.

"Tell Tapawn to dodge, Shuo!" Cheng shouts over to Shuo.

"Oh… uh… dodge I guess…" Shuo states bluntly as Tapawn leaps out of the way of the attack, just barely missing the flames from the attack as it blasts into the wall behind Shuo.

Shuo glances down at Tapawn blankly as it waddles back into place in front of him.

"So, what do I do now with this thing?" He asks.

"Call out an attack, duh!" Liwei shouts to him in annoyance.

"Ok, and what attacks does it know?" Shuo asks Prof. Tembusu.

"Tapawn here knows Tackle, Absorb and Sleep Powder. Absorb is a Grass type move that isn't very effective against Fire types like Nezukaj. But maybe you could use Sleep Powder to try gaining the advantage in some way?" Prof. Tembusu explains.

"'K. Um… use Sleep Powder then." Shuo points over to Nezukaj, as Tapawn bounds over towards it, and sneezes, sending a large array of pollen towards it.

"Dodge, and then burn it up with Ember!" Prof. Tembusu commands, and Nezukaj jumps up, just in time to leap over the oncoming attack, before it fires off another Ember attack at the Sleep Powder, burning it to cinders.

"Now, let's hit Tapawn directly with a Quick Attack!" He adds, as Nezukaj jumps into the air again and soars towards Tapawn at high-speed, knocking into and sending it hurtling across the arena.

Shuo looks back as Tapawn manages to pick itself back up, and then looks back over at Prof. Tembusu.

"Ok. Use Tackle then." Shuo commands, still rather dully, and Tapawn begins to run over towards Nezukaj, lowering its head down slightly as it braces for impact.

"Now try using Sleep Powder." Shuo adds, just seconds before Tapawn hits Nezukaj, which scores a direct hit and causes Nezukaj to fall asleep on the spot.

"Yeah! That's the way to do it, Shuo!" Cheng cheers from the sideline.

"Very good, Shuo!" Prof. Tembusu claps. "You're starting to get the hang of this now."

"Tch. Amateur." Lewei tuts, glaring at Shuo.

"I guess..." Shuo shrugs his shoulders before glancing back at Tapawn. "Use Tackle then."

"Taaaaa paaaaa!" Tapawn bashes right into Nezukaj, sending it tumbling across the arena, though it is still asleep and doesn't wake up.

"So, do I win or what?" Shuo asks the professor in confusion.

"Haha! Not yet, Shuo! You need to make the opponent's Pokémon faint to win a battle!" Prof. Tembusu explains.

"Oh right, ok… um, use Tackle again, I suppose…" Shuo replies, as Tapawn quickly saunters over to Nezukaj once again and bashes into it, sending further across the battlefield.

"Well, I guess since it's permanently asleep now, use Tackle again." Shuo adds and Tapawn begins to dart across the battlefield, preparing to hit Nezukaj one last time to knock it out.

Prof. Tembusu then notices that Nezukaj begins to wake up around this point and grins.

"Ok, Nezukaj! Close-range Ember, go!"

"Nezzzzzuuuuuuuuu!" Nezukaj opens its eyes wide and fires off a smoldering Ember attack, right into Tapawn, just as it is about to hit it, and blasts it right back across the entire arena, knocking it out right in front Shuo.

"And there you have it, students!" Prof. Tembusu declares to the class. "That's what a Pokémon battle is like. If you keep practising and getting stronger with your team, you'll become some of the top trainers in the region!"

The class claps and cheers, though really for Prof. Tembusu and Nezukaj.

Shuo looks down at the Poké Ball in his hand, and then down at Tapawn and sighs before letting Tapawn return to its Poké Ball. He strolls up to Prof. Tembusu, slowly hands him the Poké Ball and goes to sit back down with the class, without saying another word.

"You did pretty alright for your first attempt, Shuo." Cheng pats his back, though Shuo doesn't respond at all.

Liwei smirks as he glances down at Shuo but continues to look at Prof. Tembusu along with the other students.

It wasn't much longer until it was the middle of the afternoon, and the children were strolling out of the school, most of them were super thrilled with the day's events.

"Don't forget everyone to come back tomorrow for the next part of your training!" Prof. Tembusu waves goodbye to all the students leaving from the main entrance.

"Great… we've gotta come here tomorrow?" Shuo groans with his hands in his pockets as he glances briefly over at Cheng walking next to him.

"Well yeah. You didn't think it was just for one day, did you?" Cheng replies. "Anyway, see you tomorrow buddy, good luck!" He pats Shuo's back again several times before dashing off into the distance.

"Good grief…" Shuo shakes his head before walking off back towards his house. But before he does so, he takes one last look at the Trainer's School, before tutting and walking away.

The last person to leave the now empty playground is Liwei. He looks up at the school building and gets his strange tracking device out once again and hovers it around in front of him, before placing it back in his pocket and walking away.

"Not here either…" He snarls before strutting off out of the main entrance gate.

So, the adventure has started to get underway. We've been introduced to Shuo and his distaste for Pokémon, as well as quite a few other characters, and even some brand-new Pokémon. How will the next day at the Besha Town Trainer's School fare for our hero? You'll have to stay tuned to find out.
