People enjoying the simple pleasures of having a few hours of fun at the local playground seemed to be less and less these modern days. With a lot of kids these days preferring to be spend hours on hours behind screen and other digital entertainment devices, places like playground didn't seem as crowded as they were before. Their loss and more fun for the Warner Siblings, whom were having a blast playing in the sand, climbing the equipment and enjoying each other's company.

Well, the two youngest were tearing it down on the playground. The Eldest was sitting on the nearby bench, enjoying a book. Yakko look up every now and then to check if his Sibs were still in view and if they weren't getting into trouble ….without including him. It wasn't until his phone alarm sounded that he put down his. Book.

He grabbed the phone out of his pocket and checked the message.Wakko Snack Time!it read.

He grabbed his backpack."Waks, come over here for a second!" he called out to his little brother, who was currently having a friendly argument with the Warner Sister about the pros and cons of eating the swing-set. Wakko quickly ran over, swiftly followed by Dot.

Yakko held out his backpack. "Snack Time, Bro."

Wakko tilted his head. "Already?"

Yakko chuckled. "Well, Time flies when your having fun." He smiled. "C'mon take a candy bar. We need to keep your sugar levels up and with all the playing you two have been doing, you're must be running low."

Wakko grabbed a chocolate bar out the backpack. "Thanks Yakko" And without another word he ran back toward the swing set, where he started to unwrap his price.

Yakko held the backpack out towards Dot. "You want one?"

Dot reacher her hand into the bag but quickly recoiled like she had touched a hot stove. "N-no thanks, I'm good."

Being a Big Brother for many a year had his perks. Like how there were times he could read his Siblings like the very book laying on the bench beside him. He knew what this was about. He smiled warmly at her. "Dot, it's not like you're gonna get in trouble with taking one."

Dot shuffled her feet. "But last week-"

He placed a finger on her lips. "Last week wasmyfault for not checking if my bag had any extra snacks. That was on me, not you."

"But-"

"And last time nothing happened because five minutes later we were in a store, bags of candy in hand before anything bad could've happened."

Dot wrung her hands nervously. "I just … when last time Wakko had an attack ...it was scary."

Yakko sighed. "I get that. I found it scary too and that's why I always carry something around with me and after last week's snafu I make sure to double-check my bag every time before we go out." He smiled. "And I do it gladly. It's my job as a Big Brother, Baby Sib.

Yakko placed a hand on Dot's cheek and caressed his thumb under her eye, like he was wiping away a tear. "More big brothers should be so lucky to have a little sister like you who looks after them. You're a good sister, Dot."

He grabbed his bag and held it towards Dot again.

"And " He ruffled the bag, wiggling his eyebrow.

Dot hesitated for a few seconds. Then she quickly snatched a fruit bar out the bag and turned around to make her way towards Wakko. Instead, she first spun around and jumped on her Eldest Brother, wrapping her arms around his neck. She gave him a quick kiss on the cheek. "And you are the best Big Brother a girl could have."

Yakko chuckled and pushed his Sister off him. "And I do it for free."

Dot giggled and joined Wakko to eat their candy in peace.

"Well, I say free, but there are perks to this job." Yakko chuckled and started to reach in the bag, but stopped when his fingers brushed the candy bars. For few seconds he hesitated. What if...?Then the very words he just said to Dot a few moments ago echoed in his head.Good little Sisters deserve a treat every now and then.Yakko shook his head and chuckled.

"And that goes for Big Brothers too, I guess."

He took a candy bar, unwrapped it and took a bite out of it. He grabbed his book and resumed reading on the page he had left it on. Sometimes he had to remind himself to enjoy himself a little bit while Big-Brothering. Yakko glanced up from his book and saw his Siblings laughing at a joke one or the other had made.

Life was good.
