Hey guys this is my first fic so please don't judge to harshly although constructive criticism is always welcome. (Disclaimer- I do not own the hunger games or any of its characters) I think it's funny that we have to put that disclaimer I mean who's gonna come on the app and think "I bet Suzanne Collins wrote that."


Her hand flew up as soon as their escort asked for volunteers. She had always been the best. Climbing her way up the ranks at such an alarming speed that her trainers had to come up with new ways to teach her. The first day she started training with the older age class the tall blonde boy assigned as her partner laughed and made jokes about her age, one broken arm later he knew she was not to be messed with. She never stopped training. Every minute, every penny, every bit of her life was put into the games. This was going to be her legacy

When she fell to the ground, a dent in her head she realized that maybe her legacy would be something else she would be the girl given a eulogy on national TV by the victor and soon forgotten. She closed her eyes. She was ok with that.
