Chapter 24
Months passed and spring turned into summer. The only person who had a schedule change was Lucy, she finished up her semester work. Everyone else worked as normal.
They put headphones on Noah and watched fireworks explode into the air. David yelled, "Happy 4th guys!" They spent the day with Lucy's parents. They had a huge house with a pool. Noah was so excited. Olivia pulled David to the side, "So remember, when you and Lucy fly out back here on the 14th, Amanda and I are headed to celebrate her birthday."
David went all out and planned a 1st birthday surprise at Disney World, on July 12th. "Liv, I've got it! I can't believe their birthdays are so close." Olivia laughed, "I can't believe you did Disney, you do know he won't remember a thing and when he's 5, we'll be making the trip again." David shook his head, "I know, but he's 1." Olivia was happy, "I'm only kidding. I'm so excited and his outfit came a few days ago along with our shirts. Come over tomorrow and I'll show you."
The fourth was a fun day off, but Tuesday was back to business. After work David dropped by. He smiled when Olivia pulled out the outfit. The onesie had a yellow bow tie with suspenders that had red and yellow shapes of Mickey. The middle had a big red 1 with black Mickey ears on top. Right below the 1 he saw Noah's name. It also came with red shorts that looked just like the one's Mickey wears. "Liv, this is awesome."
They planned a day at the park, but he also had a character dinner planned. They would serve food he picked out, meet Disney characters, and bring a birthday cake just for him. Lucy handed him the shirts, "And we have these!" They all had Mickey shirts that said "Happy 1st birthday Noah" on them.
Amanda smiled, "I've never been to Disney World." Lucy was surprised, "Atlanta is close, way closer than us. I've never been either though." David stood up, "Well we leave Saturday the 9th, so make sure you're packed."
Amanda saw Olivia packing, "Liv, why do you have two bags?" Olivia never lied to her, but she had to lie. She wanted to surprise her for her birthday. She knew her birthday was never really celebrated properly. "I need two bags because I'm packing for two people." Amanda zipped up her suitcase, "Well I'm done."
Olivia smiled because that wasn't a lie, she just thought she meant her and Noah. Amanda's birthday was July 15th. Everyone was flying back on the 14th, but Amanda and Olivia were headed to Georgia. It was a gamble visiting there. Olivia thought it was the best idea. She thought of it so long ago, it would give her a chance to have good memories from Georgia. Olivia was regretting it though, because the closer it came, the more she worried.
They all finished out the short week and on Saturday morning they took a plane to Florida. Lucy was the biggest kid of all, "There's so much to do here and we haven't even gotten to the theme park." Olivia shook her head, "Well, Noah needs a nap, find something easy for tonight with dinner. Tomorrow can be bigger. Monday is the theme park, Tuesday is his birthday shopping, pictures, and dinner. Make Wednesday good because we fly out Thursday."
When Noah woke up they grabbed dinner and walked around the resort. When Noah saw the pool he took off. David grabbed him, "Not tonight buddy, but tomorrow we're swimming." Noah clapped his hands and laughed. They went to the playground and before heading back they saw a campfire with families. They stopped and had a s'more. "Look Liv, Noah likes chocolate." Olivia shook her head, "He's all yours tonight, Luce!"
She sat next to Amanda, "You're way too quiet." Amanda smiled, "Sorry, this is nice. I haven't been on a family vacation in forever." Olivia smiled, "They have jogging paths. We can run tomorrow morning, like outside." Amanda liked the idea. "Are you ready for your birthday?" Amanda shrugged, "I don't usually do anything. Do you have plans for me?" Olivia laughed, " Me? Have plans for you. Nope!" They all went back to the room and fell asleep.
The next morning, Amanda and Olivia snuck out for an early run and came back to join everyone for breakfast. After that they hit the pool. Olivia was sitting with Noah in the baby pool, when she saw Amanda come off the slide. She watched her walk to her towel in her bathing suit. It was a one piece, but she looked so sexy. They had lunch and Noah took a nap under the cooling canopy. They were all wiped and called for room service for dinner.
Olivia and Amanda both agreed to skip the morning jog. The theme park would be enough walking. Everyone had a ball, rode rides, and of course David took tons of pictures. Noah was Mr. Cranky Pants by the time they got him home. Amanda grabbed him and kissed him, "I have an idea." She threw on her bathing suit and held him in the huge tub. He was asleep in 20 minutes.
The next day was Noah's day. Olivia woke up and looked in his crib. Amanda sat up in the bed, "Are you ok?" Olivia looked at her, "My baby is 1 today. He's been in this world for 1 whole year. He was born exactly 5 minutes ago last year." They had a birthday breakfast with Mickey pancakes. They even had some pool time. After the pool, everyone was dressed for the birthday character dinner. They ended the night with a movie under the stars.
Wednesday was the last day at Disney. They actually got out and hit the beach. They discovered Noah loved the water period. They had a relaxing day. David took them out in the ocean on this huge float. "Hold on Noah!" Noah smiled, as the little waves hit the float, "Uh oh mama." They all ate a room service dinner and packed."
The next morning at the airport Olivia kissed Noah and Lucy and told David, "Take care of him." Amanda stood to the side and looked confused. "Bye bye baby." Noah squeezed his little fist closed, "Bye bye mama." Amanda looked at Olivia, "What's going on?" Lucy smiled and waved at Amanda, "Happy birthday!" Olivia smiled, "They're going home and we're going to Sea Island Resort in Georgia. Happy birthday!"
Amanda was completely stunned and speechless. No one had ever done anything like this for her before. She was quiet all the way to the gate. Olivia was worried, very worried. "So we have an hour wait, but they should board soon. She got out her Mac, pulled up the resort, and showed her the suite they were staying in. Amanda looked, but remained silent. Olivia couldn't read her at all. "Amanda, are you mad at me?" Amanda looked at her, "No, are you crazy. Liv, no one has ever done anything like this for me." Amanda bit her lip, "And since it's my birthday, I get the control and I can't wait to fuck on that balcony."
