Speed Force Memories, Part Two
The Paragons had been lost in the Speed Force, separated so that the Anti-Monitor's shadow army couldn't find them, lost in their own memories; but now they were already finding one another – Rae, Prime's Kara and Barry, Karry's Kara and Barry and SuperEarth's Kara had been awoken, but now they had the hard task of finding the others: Kingdom Come's Clark, Beautiful's Kayla, and Hero's Mon-El
"Every memory I have seen has been from before Crisis," Rae was now explaining to the group, "so, who had memories with Hero's Mon before Crisis?" Rae herself held up her hand and Karry Kara and Barry raised their hands too – they needed to find shared memories to be able to find the missing Paragons. "What about Kingdom Come?" Rae put her hand down, but the Karry duo kept it up. "Beautiful?" Once again Karry kept their hands up and no one else did.
"You two get around," Prime Kara said impressed.
"I thought we were the multiverse hoppers," Prime Barry added, chuckling.
"Well, we had to find the Speed Force book and didn't know which world it was on," Karry Barry shrugged.
"Our Rae left clues to its location," Karry Kara added
"Okay, so, let's use Karry as a base of operations," Rae nodded, taking the leadership role by second nature, "we'll get to all the other worlds memories from there," Rae turned to the Prime due now. "We need another Prime and Karry memory, so we need to jump to Karry."
"Let's go to our first meeting," Prime Barry reasoned.
"Urm…" Karry Barry started, but Prime's Barry had already run with his Kara; Rae gave Karry Barry a curious look but grabbed SuperEarth's Kara and as a group they ran. What Karry Barry had remembered though, Prime Barry had forgotten: he and Kara had interrupted Karry Kara and Barry when they were doing certain things in their bedroom.
"Oh, hell no," Rae called, still holding onto SuperEarth Kara, running away from the joint memory and into a solo memory the moment she realized what was going on in the bed – not even waiting for Krypto to growl at the intruders. The two Karas and Barrys laughed at Rae's reaction while Prime Barry went red with embarrassment.
"Tried to tell you," Karry Barry stated, but Prime shook his head as the four followed Rae and SuperEarth Kara.
Rae had stopped at the Karry memory of Clark and Lois's wedding, the others catching up to her fast, noticing she was watching almost sadly as Clark and Lois said their vows.
"I wish my Clark had done this…" Rae said sadly, turning to them. "He died before he could even proposed, let alone marry. Okay," she shook herself as Karry Barry reached out to her, "Hero Earth, Kingdom Come, or Beautiful?"
"Kingdom Come," Prime Barry said, making eyes turn to him. "From what we know of Kingdom Come, there are two important events in Clark's life: when Lois was killed and he left the world, and when Diana forced him back. Our Clark has to be in one of those memories."
"Raise hands who thinks Lois's death is where he is?" Rae asked, and Karry Kara and Barry raised their hands, but no one else. "Diana coming to get him?" Everyone else raised their hands. "Hah. You two, always go for the love," she added to Karry.
"We are the Paragons of Love after all," Karry Barry pointed out.
"Well, if you're wrong about Diana, we'll go to the other memory," Karry Kara said with a shrug. "No harm, no foul."
"These are your memories. You lead the way. Find us into Kingdom Come," Rae said and Karry Barry, nodded, taking the lead, and running.
They stopped at the memory of Kara and Barry visiting Kingdom Come.
"Wow you look exactly like Ray Palmer!" The Memory Kara said.
"Like completely," The Memory Barry added.
"You know it is still a little weird he looks like that," SuperEarth Kara said.
"The multiverse is one hell of a strange place," Prime Barry reasoned as they now ran off into Kingdom Come Clark's memories.
-Crisis on Infinite Millma Earths-
"How?" Clark asked. He had just heard the door to the Fortress be knocked down to see Diana standing in the Fortress with him. He was still trying to figure out how she knocked down the door.
"Oh, Clark…" Diana said, looking at him. "It's been a long time."
"What are you doing here? How are you here?" Clark asked.
"You told me about this place a life time ago – although what happened to the key?" Diana asked as Clark wondered why this was familiar but shook it off.
"I took it inside so exactly this wouldn't happen," Clark pointed out.
"Okay, you were right," a voice startled Clark and he turned to see three women who looked exactly the same and they wore his symbol. Two men who were identical, albeit their outfits were different – and another woman, this one in red.
"Who are you? How did you get in here?" Clark asked; part of him realized Diana was still holding the conversation as if he was talking to her, but he was just angry over more people he didn't know in his Fortress. Had Diana brought them with her? There was a gaping hole where the door once was, after all.
"Clark, it's us," one of the women wearing his symbol said. "The Paragons."
"Get out!" Clark said, ignoring his familiar words and raised his fist – no Kryptonian was meant to have powers inside this Fortress, but he wanted all these people out, regardless.
As he charged at them, the three blondes gave each other a nod. Two grabbed hold of his arms at speed, surprising him, and the last punched him hard enough he fell back and to the floor, winded.
"I am Kara Zor-El, of the House of El. I am your cousin from Karry Universe. My alternates are from Prime and SuperEarth," the Kara who punched him said. "My husband and Prime's husband are both Barry Allen and this is his cousin Rae of New Justice. Wake up and snap out of this or I will have to punch you again!"
"Kara…?" Clark mumbled – and as he said it, he knew it to be true. Kara was his cousin. "Oh my… Kara." Memories started flooding back him of returning to the world after this very event with Diana and becoming Superman again. "No matter the Kara, I fail you. I tried to attack my own cousin."
"Hey, it's okay," SuperEarth Kara said, giving Clark a smile and holding out a hand to help him up. "You just needed an extra kick to snap out of it."
"What is this?" Clark asked as he looked around – the place looked like his Fortress, and Diana was still talking like nothing was different. He looked down to see he was wearing his black-backed Superman suit too, and no facial hair compared to when Diana had found him originally.
"The Speed Force," Karry Kara explained. "She trapped us in here to protect us from the Anti-Monitor."
"The Speed Force is a 'she'?" Clark asked; not the question any of the other Paragons were expecting him to ask.
"Anyway, maybe after this is over, we can help you make things up to your Kara," Prime Kara spoke up.
Before Clark could answer, however, the two Barrys and Rae called out. One of the Dementors had found them and the speedsters were holding it off – the supers were ready to run though, so the group left the memory and headed back into Karry's memories, leaving the Dementor behind.
"I don't need my cousin's sidekick hanging around like a stubborn cockroach!" They stopped in the new memory; this one, Memory Kara was yelling at James Olsen.
"James," SuperEarth Kara muttered.
"Yeah, James," Karry Kara stated, sighing.
"Mine died," SuperEarth Kara stated, "tried to be something he wasn't. I'm surprised he wasn't in Purgatory."
"Maybe he went to hell," Karry Barry stated darkly.
"We need to find the last two Paragons," Rae interrupted before anyone could react to Barry's statement. "Beautiful or Hero?"
"Beautiful," SuperEarth Kara said now, making the others turn to her. "I talked to Beautiful Kayla a lot while we were at the Vanishing Point, you know, bonding over broken bonds; I think I have an idea on where the Speed Force placed her."
"Sounds good to me," Prime Barry said. "Karry, lead the way to a Beautiful memory."
"Let's hope the memory is there…. Kayla wasn't exactly in it," Karry Barry said, realizing that himself.
"My guess is if it's our only way into Beautiful's memories, it's there," Rae said, and Karry Barry nodded as they all started to run.
-Crisis on Infinite Millma Earths-
Kayla sat on the couch in her apartment, Sara was next to her. They were reading over some paperwork.
"It's a good deal," Sara was saying, "but not good at the same time. If you sign this, you have to stay on Magical Creatures for the next three years. I know how much this show and cast tortures you."
"I love acting though. Supernatural, and that movie I did," Kayla mused; she knew what she had to say, but there was something wrong, something missing, but she couldn't put her finger on it.
"But you don't love this," Sara said. "Please don't sign."
"You're right," Kayla said, nodding to her friend-and-sometime-girlfriend and taking out a phone, putting it on speaker so Sara could hear. "Hey Lucy, it's Kayla."
"Hey Kayla," Lucy said over the phone. "Have you looked over the contract for Magical Creatures?"
"I have, and I don't want to sign it," Kayla said.
"I'm not going to be able to negotiate more money," Lucy pointed out.
"It's not about the money. I hate the show. I love acting but I'd rather not act than be on this show any longer," Kayla said. She felt like she was acting now, but she wasn't sure why. "I want to leave in a way my character can never come back."
"Burn the contract with your heat vision," Lucy said, chuckling over the phone. "I'll make some calls. What do you know about Glee?"
"Glee?" Kayla said, but even as she said it, she knew what it was.
"Another show, but it's got singing in it too," Lucy pointed out. "They're looking for new cast to play new students for their fourth season. I see you as Marley, but you could be a good Kitty."
"I have literally no idea who those characters are," Kayla stated as Sara chuckled, but again she felt like she did know and had no idea why she knew .
Before Kayla could say more though, she was shocked by a group of people appearing, as if out of thin air, in her apartment.
"What?" Kayla asked, suddenly standing, but was confused as Sara started talking about missing being her stunt double, looking at the spot where Kayla had been. "How did you get in here?" Kayla asked the group though.
"Kayla," one of the people who looked just like her and her twin, Kara, said. "It's me Kara… from SuperEarth."
"What?" Kayla asked.
"Kayla, you know this isn't real. Look at yourself, look at what you're wearing, look at Sara. You're not a teenager anymore," SuperEarth Kara stated, and Kayla did look down – she was in a Supergirl outfit which was confusing since Kara was Supergirl not her. Then again part of her felt she was Supergirl. "Look into your mind, try to find Kara…. you won't," SuperEarth Kara continued, knowing this painful way was the only way to knock Kayla out of her memory.
She hated to play it this way, but she had to – and she could see Kayla thinking for Kara and realizing the hole Kara was leaving in her mind and in her heart, and SuperEarth's Kara knew what it was, knew what she was thinking and feeling. Kayla started to cry, but SuperEarth's Kara brought her into a hug.
"I remember you," Kayla finally said, it coming to her. "I remember all of you. But what…?"
"We'll explain as we go," Rae said. "But we should find Mon before the Dementors find us again. We've been lucky so far."
"I agree," Clark said.
"Where is Mon?" Kayla asked, holding on to SuperEarth's Kara, not believing she'd had to go through that heartache again.
"In his own memories," Karry Barry spoke up, having let these two Supers connect.
"And we access his through…?" Prime Kara asked.
"Mine," Rae stated before Karry could comment. "He came to me to repay his world's debt over Nazi Earth's invasion. We can get to him from there. Come on," and with that, Rae ran off. Part of her sensing the Dementors were nearby again. The others followed her back through the joint memory with Karry, to New Justice.
-Crisis on Infinite Millma Earths-
The group sped into Rae's memory of Hero Mon, to find themselves in New Justice's Watchtower, but there were already two Mon-El's in the scene.
"I have one too many Mons here," the Memory Rae was saying, pointing at the two Mon's. "What's going on?"
"Never mind that," one of the Mon's dismissed.
"Both have on the same outfits. In fact, either one could be Hero Mon," Karry Kara pointed out as the Memory Rae began summarizing their situation involving her world's Mon-El and the Daxamite rebellion he'd led long ago.
"Well, neither of them have noticed us out of place," Prime Barry pointed out. "So, this can't be the memory he's trapped in."
"Any clue where he could be?" Rae asked, ignoring her Memory double now as she turned to the rest of the group.
"He didn't speak much about his world," Kayla mused. "Although he did mention his Jal and Kal a lot. His Earth Clark and Clark's twin."
"Wait, what I don't get," the Memory Kara distracted the group. "Where did you come from?" the Memory Kara pointed at the extra Mon.
"Oh, Hero Earth," the Memory Hero Mon said. "I came here to repay the debt I owe you."
"You owe us a debt?" Rae asked.
"You didn't remember he owed you the debt?" Karry Barry turned to Rae at this, bemused.
"I'd been trapped in the Speed Force for seven imaginary years," Rae countered, "it was long-since repaid in my eyes. Come on, let's see if we can find a memory of Mon with Kal and Jal."
-Crisis on Infinite Millma Earths-
Mon was in the superhero HQ he ran, computers on the walls and costumes on mannequins, but he was alone as he reflected on events that had just happened – that was until he heard a voice.
"Mon? Are you okay?" It was his friends, Kal and his twin brother, Jal. Kryptonians from the House of El and Kara's young cousins.
"Yeah," Mon sighed, "it's just… mom."
"It's not every day you get an invasion from your home world lead by your own mom," Jal pointed out, trying not to chuckle.
"I just can't believe she'd do this!" Mon groaned, but even as he said it, he felt something was off. "I mean, trying to take over Earth to make it a new Daxam? I knew she was determined, but that?"
"Yeah, I know," Kal now sighed. "But they came to the wrong world, there were too many of us heroes."
"And she killed dad," Mon added, not hearing Kal as he leaned against the wall, but part of him felt like he was going through the motions, and he didn't know why.
"Yeah, that bit sucks," Kal stated, "but you know we're here for you, right? Bros forever."
"Same here. You're an honorary El," Jal stated to the man.
"Bros forever," Mon smirked at his friends. "Although…" but before he could say more, there was a flash of light and a group of people appeared: two Barrys, four younger-looking Karas, a Ray Palmer in a super suit for some reason, and a Rachel Garrick.
"What the…?" Mon asked, turning to the others, but was surprised that Kal and Jal hadn't reacted first – in fact, Jal continued speaking as if nothing had happened, talking about a new multiverse team he was going to lead and wanting Mon to join as his co-lead. "What's happened, guys?" He thought at least some of these were people from his own team.
"Mon," one of the Karas stated though, moving forward. "This isn't real."
"What do you mean?" Mon asked cautiously, frowning.
"This is a memory," the same Kara continued.
"No, it can't be… Kal, Jal, why can't you…?" He looked back to his two friends to see the men were talking to him, but not seeing anyone else there and nit even registering that Mon himself was distracted.
"You need to snap out of it," Rachel Garrick stated now. "You need to remember you're a Paragon."
"A Para…? Urgh. This is Black Mercy," Mon moaned, thinking the Kryptonian plant was behind this.
"No," one of the other Karas sighed. "Mon, I'm sorry, but this worked on Clark," and before Mon could react, she'd moved forward and punched him, knocking him back into the floor.
"What the hell?!" Mon asked, jumping to his feet, but something else came to him as he remembered being in a large room with this very group of people, white boards all around. "Wait, the Vanishing Point… why? Oh."
"There he is," the Ray in the super suit, who Mon now realized was actually Kingdom Come's Superman, moved forward. "I was punched too," he added.
"What happened?" Mon asked, memories flooding back. "We were about to enter the Speed Force and those Dementors appeared. Wait, what about Karry Dark?"
"Not a clue," Rae was the one to say this, "but we are one member down."
"We are?" Prime Kara turned to Rae at this.
"We need Olly," Rae pointed out.
"Well, that one's easy," Karry Barry pointed out, "We just need to get back to New Justice before… oh man."
As Barry was talking, three Dementors swooped down at them from nowhere; instead of running though, maybe it was instinct, maybe they just needed the physical contact, but the nine Paragons grabbed each others' hands. Energy suddenly jumped out of them and knocked the Dementors back.
"What was that?" Clark asked as the Dementors now fled.
"Self-made Patronus?" Prime Kara asked, to a groan from her Barry.
"A what?" Kayla asked.
"You've seriously never read Harry Potter?" Prime Barry now asked, remembering she hadn't known what Parselmouth was either.
"Only the first one," Kayla shrugged, not wanting to have a Harry Potter talk here and now.
"Anyway, we're too strong together for them," Rae spoke up, remembering what the Speed Force had told her about the Paragons being too much for them when together. "I don't think they will be a problem now."
"Stronger together," the Karas and Kayla said at the same time with a smirk.
"And I know where Olly has to be," Rae added, giving her fellow Paragons a nod before they all ran off.
-Crisis on Infinite Millma Earths-
Rae stopped when she was back in her own memories and there was younger version her crying over Oliver, Thea, and Roy, having just been murdered by her Barry as the Reverse Flash. The problem here was that Oliver was not in his Green Arrow outfit but in his Spectre outfit and there was no blood.
"Oh, come on Olly," Rae said, bending down and ignoring the Memory Rae bending down next to her. Current Rae shook Oliver, but he didn't move.
"He's already dead, how can he not know he didn't just die again?" Karry Barry mused as Rae almost laughed at this.
"Okay, the hard way," Rae smirked as she stood up and then kicked Oliver a few times – with speed.
"Ow!" Oliver yelled as he jumped up and the other Paragons laughed. "Damn the Speed Force and her tricks."
"You don't need to remember that you're not the Oliver of this memory?" Rae paused at this, confused.
"Like Karry Barry just said – I'm already dead," Oliver sighed. "At least she kept us all safe."
"Until you were all together," a familiar voice spoke, and the memory around them dissolved. The Speed Force, in Nora form this time, appeared, grinning. "My children, the Paragons," she stated, "Spectre," she nodded at Oliver. "You found each other – and you figured out how to defend yourselves against the Anti-Monitor's shadows."
"That joining of our hands thing?" Mon spoke up at this, frowning.
"Together you represent everything those Dementors, as you call them, don't. Like magnets repelling each other," the Speed Force stated. "Now, before you head to the World Forge, there's something you need to see…" with that, Nora started walking and the group followed her.
"There is?" Clark asked, the darkness that had overtaken Oliver's memory forming into something else before they heard barking.
"Clarky?!" Rae cried, just as her dog ran up to her.
"Lara!" SuperEarth Kara squealed as her own dog came running up to her and she brought the dog into a hug, sitting down on the floor with the animal, who licked her face happily.
"Mama, dada!" Two voices called, warming Karry Kara and Barry'd hearts. Two little speedsters came running up and Karry Kara and Barry caught their daughters Alura and Nora. They were followed by a smaller blonde blur, who caused both Prime Kara and Barry to call out.
"Skye!" Prime Barry picked up his daughter as he held her close, his Kara leaning to kiss the toddler on her forehead.
They could see they were in a little park area now, similar to the place the Speed Force had appeared to Prime Barry and Rae during their missions for her, only there was an added playground and Nora Palmer, Mick Rory, and a Caitlin were present, along with other kids – Rae's daughter, Leona in Mick's arms; Mutant Earth's Griffin, Zoey and Zane playing on the floor, with Caitlin's own daughter, Harmony in her arms; Nico Palmer, Prime Caitlin's son was staying close to the Caitlin here, although his eyes lingered on the many Karas and Barrys; along with New Justice Sara's daughter, Kathleen being held by Nora, while Helen, Selina Kyle's daughter, was entertaining the Mutant kids.
"Leona," Rae now called when she was done hugging Clarky, taking her daughter from Mick. "Wait, Kathleen?" Rae added to the girl in Nora Palmer's arms but didn't wait long before taking Sara and Tommy's daughter into her arms, too.
"Rae," Helen said and came to hug Rae's leg, the little girl knowing Rae well from the times Rae had babysat her recently.
"Dada," it was Griffin from Mutant, having crawled over to Karry Barry and patting him. Caitlin went to open her mouth, but Karry Barry didn't think before picking up Griffin.
"Zane, Zoey," Karry Kara smiled, nodding to Caitlin who gave a nod in return, and gave her daughter Harmony to Nora to help take the two to Karry. Meanwhile, Prime Kara had picked up Nico, the young boy obviously confused.
Rae, with two children in her own arms, was distracted by a third dog barking at her, Clarky growling to keep the dog at bay and frowned at new animal, vaguely recognising him. "Daniel," Rae remembered giving the dog to her Splitsville counterpart. She had been told her Splitsville counterpart had been brought in to read the book after Harbinger had sent her away. On Daniel's back was a black cat she knew was Little Rae's cat, Sha're.
"Hey," Kayla said to the dog sitting down besides the animal and hugging him, thinking of her own dog that had died with her world - a connection to any Kryptonian dog was just what she needed right now. Sha're, meanwhile, jumped off the dog's back, spooked by all the people suddenly present.
"How long have you been here?" Mon, however, asked the three adults here.
"A couple of hours," Caitlin shrugged. "As Prime was dying a portal opened up and we came here."
"Portal," Helen stated; Rae smiled at the girl who was still hugging her leg before turning to the Speed Force.
"You saved them," Rae said. "That's why they weren't on the Waverider when we got there."
"I did," the Speed Force Nora said. "But I only was able to save so many people. I choose everyone in the Waverider's nursery. I have been keeping them here."
"You know, the Waverider managed to get to a Vanishing Point," Prime Barry clarified.
"I saw that possibility, but I couldn't risk the chance that the children would die," the Speed Force explained.
"But… why?" Clark asked. He was smiling, seeing the parents reunite with their kids though. "I mean, yes, no one likes to see kids die, but why save them?"
"Because to win, to reboot the multiverse, you will need all the love," the Speed Force Nora looked at Karry at this, "hope," she nodded to Clark, "humanity," she gave Kayla a nod, "destiny," she smiled at the Prime duo, "honor," Mon gave a nod as Nora looked at him, "courage," SuperEarth Kara looked up from where she was still playing with Lara, "and of course, Truth." the Speed Force went over to Rae. "You will need to believe in those qualities – this moment will help you, to remind you of who you are and what you are fighting for."
"Thank you," Rae said truthfully.
"Yes, thank you," Prime Barry added, still holding Skye close to him while his Kara held Nico.
"She is beautiful," Oliver spoke up though, looking at Leona. "But who are these two?" He looked to Kathleen and then down at Helen.
"Helen is Bruce's daughter, long story don't ask. Kathleen here is Sara and Tommy's daughter. Your niece," Rae stated, and Oliver smiled at that, taking Kathleen into a hug, happy for his adoptive brother. "I'm sorry Oliver Junior was not born yet, or he would be here – I think."
"What?" Oliver paused at this.
"Oh yeah you're a daddy," Rae said making Oliver pause. "Artificial womb. You and Laurel."
"I got the DNA," Prime Barry said, smiling as he hugged Skye, "travelled back to a point where you were alive and took your blood. An encounter with Rae, here, in fact."
"Don't celebrate time traveling," the Speed Force Nora warned him, and Prime Barry frowned but the Speed Force was smirking at him now.
Mon and Clark waited for a moment, seeing how happy their fellow Paragons were before they cleared their throats.
"Hate to interrupt this moment of joy, but we do have a job to do," Mon spoke, and the other had to agree.
"We'll take care of them," Nora Palmer said, moving forward to take one of the children from Karry Barry.
"Thank you, Dark Witch," Rae said, as she gave Leona back to Mick and Oliver put Kathleen down.
"Dark Witch?" Nora Palmer said, remembering Rae calling her it before. It has been a long day though, so she had forgotten the name until now. "You know, I like it."
"Alura, Nora, stay with Auntie Caity," Karry Kara and Barry said together. The two girls were used to this, so moved over to Caitlin without question as Kara put Griffin down. Zane and Zoey were given over to Nora, too.
Prime Barry and Kara kissed Skye and Nico before letting them go and play with Alura and Nora.
"Let's get this done," Prime Barry said, determined as he watched his daughter.
"How do we get to the World Forge?" Clark asked.
"Follow me," Speed Force Nora said; Rae gave Clarky one last pet and told him to stay with the kids at the same time SuperEarth Kara gave Lara one last hug.
"Watch our girls," Karry Kara and Barry said, looking at Mutant Caitlin and the others.
"They will be safe," Caitlin stated, Nora Palmer nodding as Mick grunted. With that, the Paragons followed the Speed Force Nora away from the park.
"There are some things you should know before heading to the Forge," the Speed Force Nora, said stopping once the kids and animals were out of sight. "The only way to the Forge is to get safe passage by either myself, or one of my siblings; most of my siblings were strong in keeping the Anti-Monitor out, but he has managed to manipulate one of them, called the Dimensional Superstructure. The Anti-Monitor and his Pariah are heading to the World Forge through him."
"Great," multiple of the Paragons said, having suspected this anyway.
"The Anti-Monitor has to be dealt with anyway," Oliver instead pointed out.
"Indeed. And I have more news," the Speed Force Nora continued, "good or bad depending on your point of view: Another one of my siblings, Faithfulness, decided to get involved. She saved the Monitor and his Harbinger. They are heading for the World Forge through her."
The Paragons gave each other looks and then shrugged it off.
"Figured we'd see him again," Prime Kara muttered, remembering her punching the Monitor what felt like months ago, but was probably only a few hours ago.
"At least that Amelia is safe," Karry Barry voiced, thinking of Harbinger.
"So, the World Forge?" SuperEarth Kara spoke, but before them a road made of yellow bricks appeared. "Oh, please tell me your about to say to follow the yellow brick road."
"I was, but you just did," the Speed Force Nora said.
"Please say it," all three Karas said.
"Okay," but before she spoke, she changed, turning her form into Kayla as Galinda from Wicked, surprising Kayla and the other Karas. "Paragons, just follow the yellow brick road," the Speed Force Kayla said, and the three Karas cheered as they started skipping down the road, singing 'Follow the Yellow Brick Road'.
"Well, that was unexpected," Kayla mused, looking at her Galinda form with a smile before joining her alternate sisters, although not singing. Clark laughed as he moved to catch up with them while Mon gave a small smile as he too walked after the women, followed by Oliver who gave the Speed Force a raised eyebrow but said no more.
"I thought they would like that," the Speed Force Kayla said, now turning back into Nora, addressing her three children standing before her.
"You know our wives well," Prime Barry smirking, smiling at his Kara, Karry Kara, and SuperEarth's Kara dancing down the road.
"As well as you three and your alternates know them. Now go, run my children. The World Forge awaits. But I must warn you: there can be no mistakes, no do-overs, you need to bring the multiverse back or else everything fails," Speed Force Nora warned them.
"We can do this," Karry Barry spoke.
"We were made for this," Prime Barry added.
"Whatever it takes," Rae spoke.
"Go," the Speed Force Nora stated, smiling weakly at the three as they moved to follow the other Paragons. "The fate of everything is in your hands now…" she added, worriedly now.
Post-chapter note: Now we know where the kids went to. It's a shame Mutant Kal couldn't be saved, but the Waverider helped there, obviously.
