The Wrath of Savitar

Peter watched Cisco strap the device on Julian's head. Frost stood next to him, and she was holding his hand. He would've made quip about feeling scared, but considering what Barry had suggested, and what they were doing now, he could say he was feeling a little apprehensive.

Peter, Frost, and Caitlin, with the exception of Gwen, who was back on her Earth, had been called back to Star Labs, due to something happening with Wally. Apparently he had been seeing Savitar for the last week, and the latest encounter had been a physical fight. Barry was forced to sideline Wally, until they figured out what was going on, and that involved hooking up Julian to a machine, and contacting Savitar through him.

"If if makes you feel better, I know someone who puts a similar device on his head, so he can telepathically link himself to every person on our earth." Frost said to Julian.

"Well, I bet he doesn't have to let some crazed Speedster in his mind so he can gather information." Julian said.

Frost gave him an apologetic look, and wondered briefly if Professor Xavier or Jean had to do something like this. And then she remembered the stories she had heard about their time fighting Apocalypse during the 80's. She was sure there were more instances, but she couldn't remember.

Barry looked apologetic, and said, "We're sorry, but-"

"No, it's alright, let's get this over with." Julian said.

"Right let the séance, commence." Peter quipped.

Julian closed his eyes, while Cisco fired up the machine. There was a moment of silence, until Julian gasped loudly, which caused Frost to tighten her grip on Peter's hand, and he then opened his eyes.

"Bow before my greatness." Julian said in a different voice that sounded distorted. "Be in awe, as you are in the presence of the Almighty."

"Enough with the… religious nonsense. You are just a man. Like me." Barry said.

"I'm nothing like you Barry. You're cruel, you're selfish. From my perspective you're the big bad." 'Savitar' said.

Peter rolled his eyes, and said," Classic bad guy turn around. I've heard this before."

HR scoffed, and said," Yeah, stupid."

'Savitar' looked at Peter, and Frost, and said," Your still here, pretender? Still trying to find your place? And I see you brought along Parker and Frost. Yes, I know who you both are; including Gwen Stacy, one of the people you think will make a great hero, even though she couldn't save your alternate self. And If you all believe they'll make a difference. Then you're mistaken. Although, I always found it amusing you would ask someone for help, who couldn't save others like you, Barry."

Peter was keeping his anger at bay, especially at the jab 'Savitar' gave to Gwen, even though she wasn't even present. And especially at what he was insinuating about him, and he felt Frost squeeze his hand in reassurance.

He then gave 'Savitar' a firm look and said," That pretentious attitude you have, will make it easier for us to stop you. And HR here belongs with us, and he's going to help us stop you as well. And you have no damn right to speak of Gwen's or my own mistakes."

HR gave Peter a grateful nod, in which Peter nodded back. He had only known his fellow

"Where are you? You said that I trapped you in the future, where?" Barry asked.

"The only place you could think of. The only place that could hold me."

It went unspoken he was trapped in the Speed Force, and Barry then asked," How long have you been trapped there."

"Long enough to lose my mind several times over. It's only my will that keeps me on this side of sanity." 'Savitar' said.

Cisco chuckled humorlessly, and said sarcastically," You know, it's funny, when I think of sanity, I don't necessarily think of Savitar."

Savitar looked at Cisco, and said, "Well, that's because you're small, Cisco. You've always been small. Reverb told you that you could have been a god. But instead, you'd rather was as… tech support."

"You want to tell me why we're enemies?" Barry asked.

"Because we had to be. Only one of us could live. You thought Thawne and Zoom were your biggest foes, but… but it's me. It's always been me, Barry."

Joe then decided to say something, and said," Man, what did we ever do to you?"

"You took everything from me!" 'Savitar' yelled angrily. He then continued, but he sounded both apologetic and unapologetic. "I never asked for any of this, Joe. I am only this way because of you. All of you!"

Barry for his part, kept calm, but from what Savitar had said so far, it made him think about how he and the others could've known Savitar, and what made him like this. There was a lot of possibilities to go through, unfortunately.

"When do we meet?"

"Not long now. You're there when I become who I am. You're saying I caused you to get your speed? I created you?"

"Oh, no. I created myself, Barry. Only I can bring out my greatness."

Peter snorted, and said," Yeah, keep telling yourself that."

Barry laughed mockingly a little, and said," Your greatness? Well, you're still trapped, wherever you are, and I don't know how you're gonna escape. I mean, we got rid of the Philosopher's Stone"

"Did we?" Savitar asked mockingly.

Frost then noticed how Savitar seemed to look at Caitlin when he said that. As someone who was trained to look for any hint of movement, she could say he did look at her. When she glanced at her counterpart, she saw an emotion she wasn't quite sure what it was. But she had the feeling it was something important, and her mind was already at work thinking.

'Savitar' then stood up, and stood in front of Barry. The others either took a step back, or readied themselves, which would include Frost started to make her hands mist up, Peter clenching his fists, and Cisco waiting to shut off the machine.

"I am closer to my freedom than I have ever been. Every step, every move that you make, it only brings me nearer to it. I only need one more thing."

Frost stood protectively near Iris, who looked afraid, but was standing her ground. Iris herself was thankful for that, and then said to Savitar," Man, do you love to hear yourself talk."

'Savitar' then looked at Iris, and said," Iris, trying to show that you're not afraid? But I know you are. I'm sorry that you have to die. But it's you or me. And despite your feeble efforts to change the future, you can't, because I am the future, Flash. Barry, you've had to suffer worse than anyone, more so than Peter. You've endured pain your whole life. Your mother, your father… trust me, you'll never get over this."

Barry had enough, and switched off the device on Julian's head. Julian gasped, and he ended up falling back into the chair, and ripping off the device from his head. Everyone else let out the breaths they didn't know they were holding, after experiencing what had just happened.

Julian looked at everyone, and said," Well?" Good chat, was it?"

Peter could only rub his eyes, while thinking about what had just happened, and said," Yeah, sure. All séances are."

The group soon walked back to the cortex, they were all left with more questions, than answers, but, they still had some useful information.

"Let the record stand, that was something else. I don't know how you guys could stand doing that. Especially with the other guy talking like that." Peter said.

"Well, I say we probably got some information. Even though I'll probably have nightmares for a bit." Frost said.

"I agree with Frosty. Other than Savitar taking scaring the bejeezus out of us to a whole new level, did we actually learn anything?" Cisco asked.

Peter nodded, and said," Well, he questioned whether you guys got rid of the obvious Harry Potter reference. What did you guys do with it again?"

"We threw it into the Speed Force. Which is like throwing something into outer space." Caitlin said.

Frost doubted it, and said," Maybe you guys weren't as thorough. There's a chance you guys didn't throw the whole thing. Or there's another one out there somewhere. I mean, from what I gathered from Savitar so far, he's pretty prepared."

"Yeah, didn't you say that Savitar has followers? There has to be one you guys ran into personally. They probably have something" Peter added.

Cisco pointed at them in agreement, and said," We do, a guy named Craig." He then typed in a couple of commands to find him.

"His car's GPS has him located somewhere near… Mount Buccelato."

Julian looked at the screen and asked," That's far away, why would they be out there?"

"There's one way to find out." Barry said.

"You want me come along?" Peter asked.

Barry shook his head, and said," No, I got this."

He then took off, and everyone crowded around the monitor. A minute later, they saw Barry signature was where the signal was.

"What do you see?" Cisco asked.

"Some serious 'Temple of Doom' stuff." Barry responded.

Peter snorted, and said," Harry Potter, Planet of the Apes, and now Indiana Jones references? What's next? Does Savitar have a map somewhere that will lead us to some kind of buried treasure in a cavern?"

Frost snorted, while Cisco gave it a thought, and said," Goonies?"

"Goonies." Peter confirmed, and they both fist bumped.

HR added his thought by saying," I think I may know the movie you guys are talking about. Except on my Earth it's called 'The Goondock Treasure'."

"Huh, that's a pretty good title." Cisco admitted, and Peter nodded.

Barry butted into the conversation, and said, "Guys focus. Okay, I see a box. It looks just like the last one that held the stone."

Peter nodded at Frost, and said," Looks like you were right."

"Yeah, looks like it." She said, and glanced at Caitlin for a second.

"What are you going to do?" Iris asked.

"I'm going to see what's in it." He said.

The sound of Barry running was heard, along with a couple grunts and thumps were heard for a moment, and then it stopped.

"What exactly were you guys doing up here?" Barry asked.

"About to perform Kali Ma." Peter whispered to Frost, who snorted.

"Worshipping His Greatness." Craig said.

"Let's see how far he gets without this." Barry said.

They couldn't see what Barry was doing, but they knew he was opening the box they had. They knew something bad had just happened when they heard Craig chuckle.

"He's ten steps ahead of you. There's no stopping Savitar. If I were you. I'd move up the wedding." He said, and he started to laugh.

"And that's a punch to the face, for that comment." Peter muttered, and smirked he heard a grunt, and a body hitting the ground.

Later, Barry brought the box back to the lab. And once Cisco and Peter started to study and scan it, but considering the Spider from another Universe had no prior knowledge or experience with it, he mainly watched Cisco do his work. And from what he could gather, it didn't have any readings, like the original box they had, which had also been chucked into the Speed Force by Barry. And there was also the possibility that Savitar had the stone.

"I'm gonna check for radioactive isotopes, or gravimetric force residue." Cisco said as he picked up the box."

"We should try Gamma first. I may not be an expert on Gamma and Nuclear Physics like Dr. Banner, but I think I can handle it." Peter suggested.

"As long as we don't turn into Gamma monsters, like you said he did, then let's do it." Cisco quipped, as they left the room.

Frost had noticed again that Caitlin had a weird look, and she felt like something was off still.

'Just go ask her. It might be something important.' KF said.

Frost agreed with her other self, and then walked over to Caitlin, and said," Hey, can we talk in private for a moment."

"Sure." Caitlin said, and they walked into their infirmary/lab, and Frost closed the door.

"What's up?" Caitlin asked.

Frost crossed her arms, and looked her alternate self in the eye, and said," I know there's something going on. You've been looking kinda bothered all day. And I'm sure that when Savitar questioned if we got rid of the stone, he looked at you. And when we were all talking earlier about the box, and the stone again, you had a look. Look, I'm not going to get mad, I just want to know what's going on."

Caitlin looked down, and gave Frost regretful look, and went to a cabinet. She then brought a small box, opened it, and got something that looked like a small crystal out. Frost eyes widened, due to recognizing what it was from the pictures the team had shown her and Peter. She walked over to Caitlin, and examined it.

'Wow, didn't expect that.' KF said.

"How long have you had this?" Frost asked.

"I had it since Barry threw the rest if it, and the box, into the Speed Force. It was a small piece, and I thought it wouldn't matter."

Frost rubbed his face, and sighed. The events of the day was catching up to her, and the possible repercussions of this was going through her mind.

"I'm sorry, I kept it… in the hopes to get rid of my powers. It was before I met you, Peter and KF. And after I met you guys, and you wanting to help me control my powers, and Killer Frost. I forgot about it, and with everything happening right now, I realized I messed up." Caitlin regretfully said.

Frost went over to hug her counterpart, and Caitlin hugged her back. She didn't blame, and KF didn't as well. This just reminded her of her of her earlier fears of when her powers first manifested. She wanted to get rid of them, and it wasn't until The Professor and the others came and help her.

'Your power isn't a curse, Miss Frost. It's a gift, a gift that you can control, and use for good. At my school, there are people like you who had the same thoughts, including myself, but we all learned over time. I would like to cordially invite you to attend the Institute, to help you control, and learn not to fear this power.'

'Man, being a mentor and teacher is quite the ride. Good thing you sorta have experience with helping the others at the Institute. Although, the students that you helped were younger than you.' KF dryly said.

Frost and Peter were the same age, being in their early twenties, while everyone else, with the exception of Joe, HR, Wally, and Jesse; they were in their late twenties or early thirties. Frost and Caitlin had a good laugh at that, during one of their bonding sessions, especially how Frost and Peter had more experience in hero work.

'Yeah you said it.' Frost agreed.

"Right, you won't believe how much I understand what you're going through. But, tell me, do you want to me to help you, or not?" Frost said aloud.

"Yes, I do want you to help me." Caitlin firmly said.

"Good, now we're going to have to tell the others about this. Boy, everything just keeps on getting more interesting by the moment. Although, we don't know how a certain someone will react." Frost said as she bit her lip.

Caitlin wasn't sure who she was referring too at first, until she realized it was Julian who would be the most upset.

When the both of them showed everyone present, which was Barry, Iris, Julian, and Peter. HR was busy testing and practicing with Wally, to help with his speed. She and Caitlin explained what Caitlin had told her.

"So, you haven't attempted to use it, to remove your powers?" Peter asked.

"No, I haven't. And like I said to Frost, I have no intention to try now." Caitlin said.

"And you weren't influenced by Killer Frost in anyway?" Iris asked.

"No, it was me. I'm really sorry, guys." Caitlin apologized.

"Well, at least we have the stone accounted for, that's one less issue to worry about. All we need to do is to continue to look for Savitar." Peter said.

"How are we going to do that?" Iris asked.

Barry looked at Julian, and he knew exactly what he was about to suggest.

"No." Julian said.

"One more time." Barry asked.

"Really? With the amount of times he's done it now, we might as well pay admission." Peter said, and looked apologetic, when Julian gave him a glare.

"I'm not a human Ouija Board, Barry. You can't just keep-"

"It' the last time, all right? And only long enough to see if we can maybe track his location." Barry explained. "Julian, we gotta end this, for everyone's sake."

Julian looked apprehensive, but finally he said," I'll see you downstairs." He said, and he left the room.

Frost motioned for Caitlin to follow him, and she did.

Peter sighed, and said," Right, I'll let Cisco know."

He started to walk, but his Spider Sense went off, and he got out of the way, due to Wally speeding into the room, and he didn't look happy.

'Great, more issues.' KF sarcastically said.

Wally looked at Barry, and said," You're so full of it."

Barry looked confused, and said," What?"

"Railing at me, for not telling everyone about Savitar? What about what you're not telling everyone, Barry?"

"What are you?"

"Cisco vibed me into the future. I saw what happened. Tell my sister why you asked her to marry you. Go on, tell her the reason, Barry."

Iris, and everyone else, including Julian and Caitlin, who had heard Wally, and walked back into the room, looked at Barry, who had a look.

"What is he talking about? Barry." Iris asked.

Barry sighed, knowing he had to come clean, and said," The night that Savitar kills you, you didn't have a ring on your finger."

As soon as he said that, Iris had a thoughtful look, and she started to realize what that meant.

"We weren't engaged yet." She muttered. "So you thought that if we were…"

"That it might change the future." Barry finished.

Iris nodded, and she walked away. Barry called out to her, and he walked after her.

Peter sighed, and looked at Frost, who looked a little overwhelmed.

"It's just one thing after another." She muttered.

Later, Peter, Frost, Barry, Caitlin, and Cisco had hooked up Julian to the machine again. After Barry and Iris had talked about what Barry did, he had came down to the same room they used last time. Everyone there decided not to talk about what had been said earlier, except for Peter, who made a note to talk to Barry later.

"Alright, séance take 3." Peter said.

"We'll be here if you need anything." Caitlin said.

Julian nodded, and he closed his eyes, and activated the machine. Once he did, he gasped, and Savitar took control again.

"Back to worship me once again?" 'Savitar' said.

Peter crossed his arms, and said sarcastically," Yeah, like that will ever happen."

KF took control of Frost for a moment, and said," I second that, Parker."

"We just wanted to let you know that we're gonna defeat you."

"Unlikely."

"You told us, that you were trapped, imprisoned for all eternity. You're never getting out of wherever my future self locked you up. You'll never know freedom again."

Barry then glanced at Cisco, who was using the monitor he had to pinpoint where Savitar was, and he nodded, to let him know it was working.

"All will be revealed soon, Flash. You will face my wrath. You will beg for mercy, and you will get none."

Cisco then unplugged the machine from the monitor, and Frost went over to help Julian, if he needed it, and she then took off the headband.

"Did it work?" Caitlin asked.

"Yeah. We got a hit. It's just that the hit is all of Central City."

Peter looked at the screen, and said," Well, at least it's a small area. It's a needle in a haystack… but a small haystack."

"But at least can we pinpoint a specific location?" Barry asked.

"I think maybe we can get a little bit more precise, but I'm gonna have to give it the old Meta-Human try." Cisco said.

Peter had an idea, and said," Maybe we should check for any type of technology frequencies. Maybe Savitar had his followers placed some type of sensors or something to throw us off."

"Right, I'll get on that too."

"Okay." Barry said, and then had to answer his phone, once it started to ring. "It's Iris. All right. I'll be right back, but…"

"We'll let you know." Peter reassured.

Barry nodded, and went to answer the call.

Later, Cisco was sitting his vibe chair, trying to find Savitar, and then took them off. They had been looking for Savitar's whereabouts for a while now, and so far they were having trouble. They had tried Peter's suggestion, but they couldn't find anything around the city that had the same frequency or signals as Savitar. Right now, they were having Cisco try to vibe Savitar.

"Nothing?" Peter said.

"I can't see anything."

"Give me those. Are those things even working?" HR said, as he took Cisco's goggles.

"Yep."

HR then proceeded to bang them on the table, and Cisco stopped him.

"Okay stop it!" Cisco said he grabbed them from him, and then gave Peter a glare, due to him chuckling.

"So, what did you see?" HR asked.

"Nothing but flashes. It's like Savitar speeding through, like, a storm."

"No, it's not a storm." Barry said, as he came in with Iris and Joe. "It's the Speed Force."

"He's in the Speed Force. That's why only speedsters were able to see him."

Peter realized what they were going with this, and said," So basically, your future self trapped him the Speed Force. And the only reason why he was all over the place in the city, was because he there only briefly, and I guess the Speed Force dragged him back in. But another question is, how he able to get out in the first place, there has to be some type of security system."

"It's the Philosopher's Stone." Frost realized, and everyone looked at her. "Think about it, he needs to the stone to get out, which he does, but he doesn't have the whole thing. Think of the stone as some type of security access that will allow him to get out of the Speed Force, but he doesn't have the full code."

"That makes sense. People from another Earth for the win, high five!" Peter cheered, and the two friends high-fived, with Frost giggling at his enthusiasm.

"Okay, we really got to thank Kara and Bette for bringing you guys." Cisco said, impressed.

Before anyone could comment, Jesse ran into the room, and she had a very worried look.

"Guys, Wally went after Savitar." She said.

"What?" Both Iris and Joe said.

"He started hallucinating. He thought he was talking to his mom." She explained.

"No, t-that's not her. That's Savitar." Julian said.

Peter and Frost had a look of horror, and realization, with Peter saying, "Crap, that's why he's been messing with Wally. He needs him to give him the rest of the stone. Wally doesn't know that'll bring him here."

To see if he was right, both Barry and Jesse sped to where they had the box, and the stone, while everyone else had to run after them.

"It's gone?" Caitlin asked.

"Just like Peter said. Wally took it." Barry said.

"Then we gotta find him. Is the sensor on his suit working?" Peter asked.

"No, he turned it off." Cisco said, as he looked at the monitor.

A minute later, the monitor started to beep, and it showed that there was something going on.

"I found something, there's a power surge."

"Where?" Barry asked.

"At the old Kob Factory."

Barry looked at Peter and Frost, who had quickly changed into their costume.

"Go, we'll meet you there." Peter said.

Barry nodded, and sped out of the room with his costume.

"Cisco, breach us." Peter said.

Frost gave him a confused look, and said," Why couldn't we gone with Barry?"

Despite the situation, Peter grinned at her, and said," I rather not face a villain, and have throw up on my costume."

Frost gave him a dirty look, and swatted his arm, while he chuckled. Cisco opened a breach for them.

KF took control, while Peter put on his mask, and they ran into the portal. Once they got through, they stood next to Barry, and they were shocked to see Wally about to be pulled into a portal.

"Karen, activate Web Grenade." He said, and once she did, he fired it at Wally, and once it captured him, Peter fired another web to make a tether.

"Don't worry, we got you!" Peter reassured, as KF and Barry held onto the web as well.

A second later, some type of tendrils started to pull him.

"No! No! Help me!" Wally screamed, and his suit started to fall apart.

"Shit!" Peter growled, he then let's go of the web, fired two more, and had the others hold on to those.

They could only watch in further horror as Wally screamed as the webs weren't working. And with one final pull, Wally screamed in terror as he was pulled in, and the webs snapped away. Once he was pulled through, the portal closed, and three of them could only stand in shocked disbelief.

"Oh my God." Peter muttered.

"Holy shit." KF said in stunned disbelief.

Barry walked over to where Wally was taken, found a piece of his suit still there. It was a part of his chest clothing with the emblem, and it was still slightly smoking.

Peter felt his Spider Sense going off, and he looked around.

He clenched his fists, and said," Guys, we got incoming."

Another portal opened, and once it did, something started to come out. Peter and Frost had never met Savitar, but they had seen pictures of him. But nothing could prepare them from actually seeing him. it didn't help matters that he was crawling out of the portal like some kind of movie monster.

One he did fully come out, he roared into the sky," I am free! Ground. Air. I can feel again. I can breathe again. I've beaten you, finally."

"Where's Wally?" Barry asked.

"Speed Force. He forced Wally into his place." Peter said.

"Very good, Peter. You see, when Barry created Flashpoint, he unwittingly provided me with the means for my return." Savitar said.

"So you used the inexperience, and whatever shortcomings Wally had to your advantage. You may be a villain, but I gotta say it was a good plan." KF said.

"So not the time to compliment the bad guy." Peter chastised.

"How do I get him out?" Barry asked.

"Wally's gone. Suffering in an endless void for all eternity-"

KF then let out a stream of ice, before Savitar could finish. She did so for a few more moments, and once she was done, Savitar was encased in ice.

"Had to shut up the asshole. No doubt he was going to blame you and your shortcomings." KF said.

"Thanks." Barry said, knowing that Savitar was trying to get him mad.

The ice started to vibrate, and then shattered as Savitar broke free with a roar. Before anyone could blink, Savitar rushed towards them, and delivered a backhand at KF, who ended up crashing into Peter, with the both of them flying into a wall with thud. Savitar then punched Barry, and he ended up slamming into a crate.

Once Barry got his bearings, he got up, and stared at Savitar, who then sped away, and Barry wasn't too far behind him.

KF let out a curse as she got up, and helped Peter.

"C'mon, let's go get them." She said.

Peter got behind her, and held onto her shoulders. She then fired ice onto the ground, and created an ice walkway, which they ended up sliding on, while KF fired more into the direction the two lightening blurs were fighting.

They had made it in the nick of time, due to witnessing Savitar stabbing Barry in the chest with a blade, and it was still stuck in Barry, after he broke it off. Peter ended up jumping off the walkway to punch Savitar in the face or mask, and once he did, he tried to punch again, if Savitar didn't grab it, and then punched Peter with his other arm. He then tossed Peter into KF, who was about to attack him.

Savitar growled one last time, and sped away. The two heroes got up, and sprinted towards Barry, who was groaning in pain, and still had the piece of Savitar's blade in his chest.

"Shit. Cisco, breach! Also, prepare the med bay!" Peter radioed.

KF had already transformed back into Frost, and she was assessing Barry's wound, and was in Doctor mode.

"Hang on Barry, it's going to be alright, it looks like he didn't damage anything major."

Cisco breached next to them, and he brought a stretcher. He and Peter lifted Barry onto it, and the three of them rolled him into the med bay. Caitlin had already turned on the X-Ray machine, and placed a monitor on Barry's wrist.

"What's the damage?" Caitlin asked.

"Went straight into the Clavicle. Mostly likely shattered it. No sign of organ damage. We're going to have to rip the blade out, and his powers will do the rest. Unfortunately, we can't use any medicine, he'll burn through it." Frost said.

"Just do it, okay." Barry groaned out.

"Hang on." Frost said, and placed her hand around the wound, and a quick shot of frost.

"It will numb the pain a little bit. Alright, Julian, Joe, hold him down. Caitlin, get a bandage ready, there will be blood. Cisco and Peter, hold his hands. And here bite down into this." Frost continued, and placed a role of bandages into Barry's mouth, and he bit into it.

"You're going to be alright man." Cisco reassured.

"Yeah, hang on buddy." Peter said.

"3…2…1." Frost then proceeded to rip the blade out of Barry.

Barry screamed in pain and agony, and Caitlin placed a bandage over his wound. Barry ended up passing out from the pain.

Everyone breathed a loud breath, while Frost and Caitlin assessed the damage on Barry.

"What happened to Wally?" Joe asked.

Peter realized he was holding onto the piece of Wally's suit. He gave Joe, and everyone a sympathetic look. He Held out the piece of Wally's suit that was left, and gave it Joe, who looked shocked, and had tears in his eyes. Iris looked the same, and Jesse had hand over her mouth, and she looked close to crying. The others still looked shell shocked.

Frost looked at Caitlin, and said," Take care of the rest, please."

Caitlin nodded, and Frost went over to Peter, and took him to the side.

"I need you to get, Gwen." She whispered.

Peter was confused for a moment, but realized that she could help comfort Jesse. He nodded, excused himself, and went to call her.

Frost sighed, and went to help Caitlin get Barry into an open hoodie, as well as to redress Barry's stab wound, which looked have started healing.

A couple of minutes later, Barry started to stir, and he blinked as he opened his eyes.

"How long was I out?" Barry managed to get out.

"Not long." Caitlin said.

"The wound you have, will be healed up soon. I advice that you don't do anything for a couple of hours." Frost said.

Barry looked at Joe, and said," I'm sorry."

"It's not your fault. What happened to Wally? Is he..." He didn't want to finish the sentence.

Frost looked at everyone, and said," He's trapped in the Speed Force. We don't know."

Jesse let out a sob, and walked out of the room. HR saw this, and was about to go after her, when Peter put a hand on his shoulder.

"We got it covered." He said.

Jesse had gone out to the hallway, and started to cry more openly. She was taken aback when a breach opened, and she was surprised to see Gwen come out of it.

Gwen gave her a sympathetic look, and said," Peter called me. He gave me the quick version. I'm sorry."

She then walked over to her friend, and hugged her. Jesse hugged her back, and cried more. Jesse and the others were there for Gwen when Peter died, and she was grateful for that. She hoped being here for her friend will help repay her for when she helped Gwen.

Back in the room, everyone was still coming to terms with what had happened. Both Iris and Joe had to leave the room for a moment, while Cisco, Julian, and HR went to study the piece of Savitar's armor. This had left Barry, Caitlin, Peter, and Frost in the room.

"This is all my fault." Caitlin said.

Frost thought otherwise, and said," No it's not. Yes, mistakes were made, but we'll get through this."

"Yeah, and Barry. I know what your thinking. What's been happening, you can't blame yourself. And you had let your fear get the best of you. Believe me, I've been there. It also shows that we're all human, and we make mistakes. Savitar did this, and he'll keep on winning if you continue to mope and feel sorry for yourself. I know you and the others faced tougher. So let's just rest, and come up with a plan to save Wally." Peter said.

Barry nodded, and he vowed then and there that they were going to save Wally, no matter what.

Hoped you liked the chapter, man, watching Wally get sucked into the Speed Force will crying out for help really gets to you. Really good acting on Keiynan's part.

Next chapter is going to be different, due to me not focusing on Barry during his trip.

Till next time.
