Panic, that is the only thing Artemis felt as she ran through the forests of northern Europe. It had been a long time since she had felt such emotions, after all a goddess did not often have much to concern herself with when it came to worldly matters or physical harm. Artemis since the day she was born has been capable, strong, reliable, even helping deliver her own brother mere seconds after her own birth by instantly transforming into an adult. The Goddess of the Moon & the Hunt didn't like to think of the idea of being afraid, it was foreign to her and she was far from someone open to embracing change.

Though perhaps that's reluctance had contributed to her current predicament. If she and her fellow gods and goddesses had moved with the times and not got so caught up in their own petty squabbles then they would not now be so few in number, those remaining scattered and divided. As they were, they were easy pickings for the forces that now sought to destroy them, even an army of demigod children not being enough to prevent the calamity of current days. While she had never shown much interest in camp half-blood other than as a recruiting ground for her hunters, she did deep down have great sympathy for those who had died.

But how had they died? The hubris of the gods, in her opinion. They had been so caught up in their own bullshit that they had failed to recognize the evil that was rising in Tartarus until it was far too late, the demigods had tried their best to stop the evil that was rising in the form of the Titan Kronos but it was all for naught. Kronos and the other Titans had defeated most of the gods and demigods in combat and now the Titans had total dominion over the Earth, or at least the parts of the Earth not controlled by other pantheons. The destruction was already unparalleled and the secrecy the gods had cultivated over centuries was gone, mortals now fully aware that gods existed and they were seemingly not their friends.

There wasn't much hope left for the world as ruled by the Greco-Roman gods. However, Artemis was determined to keep the few Hunters of Artemis left alive safe from those who would seek to destroy them, with the hope that one day they might regroup with the other gods and demigods still alive and mount a real resistance against the Titans and their servants. She had made the mistake of sticking to the lone wolf routine before the second Titan war and many of her family were now dead as a result, she would not make that mistake again. That being said, before she could even begin to think about doing that, she and hers would need to escape from their current pursuers. Pursuers she was very familiar with, and who had been on their tail for days now.

Artemis was reluctant to stop moving during the night, even to rest. She knew her pursuers were masters of night vision and were lightning fast; they would easily catch up to them if they stopped moving when the sun was down. Plus with the moon out she was at least at her most powerful, and thus at her most capable of defending herself and others. After all, even now when she had put a good distance between herself and her pursuers she could still hear the distant sound of howls from behind reminding the goddess that she couldn't slow down, even for a second. Artemis and her hunters didn't have the luxury of pacing themselves anymore. They weren't the hunters anymore, they were the hunted.

"Keep moving!" Artemis shouted to her hunters. "We have to keep pace or our pursuers will gain on us."

"My goddess, I'm not sure how much longer I can keep up," one of the hunters from the back admitted, looking visibly tired. The Goddess of the Moon wished she could comply, but the stakes were simply too high.

"Please keep going, we'll stop to rest when we have put enough distance between us and our pursuers that a few hours rest will not put us in their jaws."

"Oh I'd say it's too late for that, Goddess of the Moon," a voice said from just behind the group of hunters.

A scream rang out through the forest as one of the hunters fell, her voice alerting all the other hunters to the danger they were now in. Looking back, Artemis was horrified to find the hunter who had previously been asking to rest now lay about 200 meters behind them, the top of her body covered in blood with a wolf, twice the size of any normal beast standing over her, his teeth sunk firmly into her neck. The goddess tried her best not to cry, instead looking away and doubling her pace through the forest so as to not be caught by the pursuers she thought previously far behind them.

Somewhere along the line, the goddess had miscalculated, or perhaps the Titans had used magic to help their pursuers in their chase. Either way, they needed to get away or death was almost certainly assured. Drawing her bow, Artemis pulled an arrow from her quiver and with one swift movement, pulled back the string as she turned and loosed the arrow straight past her hunters and directly into the skull of a white-furred wolf mere meters behind the furthest hunter back. The beast fell to the ground dead, tumbling along the ground as the momentum of its previous running carried it for some distance.

Her hunters followed her example and started firing arrows at their pursuers as they ran, some even managing to kill or injure some of them. However, their efforts were quickly proved in vain. One by one, hunter after hunter was kept upon by one or more wolves, screams of pain and anguish ringing out throughout the forest as they were bitten and torn to shreds by the wolves that had run them down. Artemis did not have time to mourn, her own survival and that of the hunters that remained had to be her primary concern at the moment. So she fought on, arrow after arrow killing wolf after wolf as they desperately tried to make their escape.

However, despite money wolves falling to their arrows the numbers they were facing were far too great and soon enough Artemis could feel an awfully familiar presence join the fray. Just moments later, pain erupted in her back as at least 100lbs of body weight was thrown full force into it, knocking her down. It took the goddess several moments to realize what had happened, but when she did she turned around to see that she and the three Hunters of Artemis that remained had all been knocked over by wolves bigger than the already far larger than normal wolves pursuing them. None however were larger than the one that had knocked her down.

The wolf that had knocked her down, a huge black-furred beast with glowing red eyes stared at her for several moments, growling at her before finally taking a step back. When she did, the wolf slowly began to transform taking on a larger, two-legged form as its fur receded into its own body, as did its nose and jaw. Eventually, the beast, along with all the other wolves that had allowed her three remaining hunters to live, took on a human shape and stood above them with victorious smirks on their faces. Artemis sneered, looking upon the ghastly sight of the first lycanthrope. The legendary king of Arcadia, Lycaon.

He was a tall, impossible man with glowing red eyes, a sharp jawline, and sharp, canine-like teeth. He was extremely muscular, looking even bulkier due to being covered in heavy bear pelt clothing. His hair was long, black like the fur in his beast form, and matted from a long chase and seeming centuries of living in the wild. The other lycanthropes were similar, albeit not quite as big, and with hair ranging from white to gray, to black like Lycaon himself. All with large, intimidating builds and shape teeth bared as if ready to rip out the throats of their surviving captors at a moment's notice. Looking to face her primary captor, Artemis' eyes narrowed as she tried her best to not show fear as she figured a way out.

"Artemis, long time no see," Lycaon began, his voice arrogant and victorious. "Last time we caught wind of one another, it was decades ago during one of your hunts. My pack has always done our best to avoid you yet you always seem to find your way to us eventually."

"What can I say Lycaon is never too far out of reach," Artemis shot back, merely getting a barking laugh in response.

"Ahh, but it is you who is the prey goddess. Kronos was quite insistent that the most professional fighting force outside of camp half-blood be taken care of as quickly as possible and I am in no place to deny him," Lycaon rebutted, grinning all the while.

"So it's just business is it?" Artemis asked, sounding skeptical.

"Oh I would deny there is something personal in it for me and my pack," Lycaon admitted freely. "Quite frankly I'm sick and tired of you and your fucking hunters trying to take us out all the time. I know the arrogance of the gods is unmatched, but we lycanthropes have every right to exist on this planet as any mortal. All we wanted was to live and hunt in peace, but you could never not hunt us down."

"Hunting the evils of this world is my duty," Artemis said, justifying her actions.

"You call us evil, yet it was your father that turned me into this beast in the first place. If I am evil, then I am the evil you created. Besides, you are not free of sin as the Christians say," Lycaon replied, his eyes glowing as humor turned to anger. "Your father violated my daughter, took her against her will and what did you do? Did you show her pity on her? Show even the slightest bit of empathy for her situation? No, you caste her out like…like a dog!"

Callisto, Artemis remembered the nymph girl well. A great hunter and an even better friend, but one she felt had feelings for her beyond simple friendship. These were feelings she could not return while upholding her oath. When she found out her father had raped the Callisto, using her own form no less she had been furious. Furious at her father for taking advantage of Callisto and sullying the oath all her hunters swore, furious at Callisto for putting her in a situation where she had to choose between her honor and her friend, and furious with herself for being the type of monster that would choose the former. But nonetheless, she had put honor before friendship, and a pregnant and confused Callisto was tearfully cast out of the Hunters of Artemis.

Artemis knew that life for Callisto hadn't gotten better after she had been kicked out of the hunters. She gave birth to a son, but in her jealousy, Hera punished poor Callisto by turning her into a bear. Zeus, showing pity on his conquest turned Callisto into the Ursa Major star constellation merely moments before her son, now grown, would kill her thinking she was just any other beast. Lycaon, bastard that he might be, had every right to be angry at her, Zeus, Hera, and the gods in general for their own petty self-interests. While it is true that Lycaon's own arrogance got him turned into a lycanthrope, he had long since been punished enough and Callisto deserved no such treatment.

"I had no choice, the Hunters of Artemis are sworn on the river Styx to remain maidens our entire lives. If that oath is broken, regardless of context, our place in this group is lost. Even I am not immune from this fate," Artemis explained, looking down at the dirt in shame.

"Don't try to justify your bullshit to me, goddess, it won't save you," Lycaon spat angrily, venom in his words. "It's not just Callisto you're paying for. It's all my wolves killed by Hera during the battle, and all the wolves you've slaughtered over the centuries. You will repay me for every wolf that has lost their lives under the hegemony of the gods. Hera would be facing punishment with you if she was alive to face it that is."

"So what will you do, kill us?" Artemis asked, no fear showing in her tone.

"Kill you? HAHAHAHA!" Lycaon laughed, his face full of savage delight. "That is what I've been ordered to do. But no, I have something special in mind for you and your little hunters here. You see I am in possession of special knowledge that not even Kronos is aware of, a knowledge that makes your death a waste of resources so to speak."

"What then? Spit it out!" Artemis declared. She was quickly silenced by a rather brutal kick to the law, courtesy of Lycaon himself.

"Watch your tone woman, don't forget yourself. You're in no position to display your arrogance right now," Lycaon growled, his eyes sharp and his voice low in warning. "The reason I will not kill you is that a power greater than even Kronos will soon emerge and when it does, I will be on their side."

"What power could possibly be greater than the Gods or the Titans?" Artemis asked, skeptical.

"The primordials, Gaea to be exact," Lycaon answered, smirking.

"I-Impossible, Gaea has been silent for millennia," Artemis replied in sheer terror, Lycaon merely laughed at the shock on her face.

"NOT IMPOSSIBLE, INEVITABLE!" Lycaon declared, a grin wide on his face. "Gaea is waking up and when she does she will take hegemony back from the Titans using her vast power and influence and I intend to be on the winning side. She has already tasked me with preparing for her return, and you will help me with that."

"Never!" Artemis shouted defiantly.

"You don't have a choice," Lycaon said matter of factly. "When Gaea wakes up, she'll want an army and I will give her one. You and your hunters will breed strong sons to me and my pack, and by the time of Gaea's arrival there will be enough of us to form a large part of her ranks and serve her to great personal benefit."

"I'd rather die!" One of the remaining hunters declared, Thalia Lycaon believed her name was, her face showing a mixture of anger and fear.

"Don't think for a second I'll breed with any of you filthy dogs," another declared. Lycaon recognized this one, Zoe Nightshade. She was Artemis' second in command and the one responsible for a good amount of wolf deaths.

"You'll all wish you'd kept your mouths shut and obeyed before the day is done, that I swear," Lyacon declared, his face maniacal as he anticipated his own next order. "Boys! Take the three hunters into the underbrush and show them what they're in for going forward, make sure by the time they're done they're pregnant and compliant. Understood?!"

"Yes sir!" The many wolves declared.

The three Hunters of Artemis kicked and screamed as they were dragged against their will into the underbrush by their many captors, all of whom had incredibly lustful intentions toward the virgin women. Artemis looked on in horror, unable to do anything as her most faithful were taken away to be defiled by the monster in humanoid form Lycaon has created. She tried to run after them but before she could do anything the original wolfman grabbed the powerless goddess from behind and held her in place. One arm was wrapped firmly around her waist while the other hand came up to cup her jaw and pull it toward Lycaon as he peered over Artemis' shoulder.

"Don't worry, they'll learn to love it eventually. After all, becoming a mother should be something to celebrate," Lycaon said with great amusement.

"You bastard!" Artemis spat at him, merely getting a chuckle in response.

"No more than the gods I'm sure. Besides, don't pretend there isn't something about this that's getting you all hot and bothered Artemis," Lycaon shot back, smirking.

"What in the name of Tartarus are you talking about?" Artemis asked. Lycaon merely shook his head as if feigning disappointment.

"Oh don't pretend you don't know what I'm talking about," Lycaon began, the delight clear in his voice. "As a lycanthrope, I can sense it on you Artemis. There is something of the wild about you, something primal that means you are far more in touch with your base instincts than most. Athena and Hestia can keep to their oath of virginity easily enough, but for you, it's a challenge, isn't it Artemis. The oath of virginity is a source of constant suffering for a goddess so particularly touched by nature, it's no wonder your brother is such a lady's man."

"I h-haven't a clue what you're talking about you lunatic!" Artemis roared angrily, Lycaon however was having none of it.

"To pretend that you are any less a being of the natural world than me is absurd, Goddess of the Moon. The rest of the world might be fooled by your demeanor, but I see through you. Deep down, you desire what every female beast in this world desires. You desire to be dominated by a strong, powerful man and to bear his strong offspring, as many times as that fertile body of yours will allow. You crave it, dream about it, you want a being with the strength to tame you, to pin you down and pump you full of his potent seed. You would give up your oath in an instant at the thought of getting fucked by such a man!"

"You're wrong, I'm not some broodmare for beasts like you to sate their lusts upon. I am a goddess of Mount Olympus!" Artemis declared, struggling in vain to break free.

"Oh but you are Artemis, deep down your body craves to submit to a man worthy of breeding you," Lycaon said as if it was the most obvious thing in the world. "And I, Lycaon of Arcadia will be the one to show you the truth, that you were born to be the mother of Lycans!"

Without one swift motion, Lycaon spun the goddess around and grabbed a hold of the front of her toga, and with the other hand pushed her backward. As she fell, the toga was torn from her body with a mighty ripping sound as the fabric came apart from the force of her fall, most of it remaining within Lycaon's vice-like grip. Landing on her back, Artemis didn't even have a moment to recover before she felt the heavyweight of her captor on top of her. Her breath hitched slightly as she felt him kiss along the neck and collar bone, even going as far as to suck at the skin to give her what she heard Aphrodite called "hickies" or "tramp stamps".

"G-Get off of me," Artemis breathed out, trying not to let the feeling of the man on top of her get to her.

"Now why…would I…do that?" the wolfman said between kisses. "There's so much…left…to do together."

"I-If you don't…I-I release m-my goddess form, k-kill you r-right here a-and now," Artemis threatened, holding herself together as best she could. Lycaon stopped for but a moment and merely chuckled at her expense.

"Don't make me laugh goddess," Lycaon said dismissively, his eyes learning at her naked form beneath him. "The gods have lost their hegemony over the world, you no longer hold dominion over this realm and its beings. You cannot bring your full power to bear until you swear loyalty to Kronos and he makes you part of his pantheon, effectively making yourself a Titan. But you know that already. Nice try goddess, but I'm not falling for a bluff anytime soon. Your fate is sealed, you're mine to play with and I will have my due!"

With renewed vigor, he leaned down and began to suck and bite at the goddess' breasts. They weren't the largest in the world, quite by design but also not much bigger naturally either, but still enough of a handful to be enjoyable for the savage above her. A short burst of pleasure shot through the goddess's body as she felt her nipples harden, the reluctant feeling making her feel ashamed to even be feeling it. One of Lycaon's hands came up to play with the breast he wasn't sucking and the pleasure doubled, the beast pawing at the flesh and rolling her hard nipple between his fingers. His sharp teeth grazing against her nipple was impossible to ignore, not giving him the satisfaction was difficult.

Eventually, the pleasure began to slowly but surely overwhelm the moon goddess, and quiet reluctant moans began to escape her mouth as she tried her best to hold herself back. Internally, Lycaon was grinning like a Cheshire cat, the man had waited most of his life for this and at this moment he knew he had her where he wanted her. One of the wolf man's hands left her breasts and slowly trailed down her stomach until eventually reaching her pelvis. Taking a firm grip on the goddesses' undergarments, a pair of pure white panties much to his amusement, Lycaon roughly ripped them from her body in one tear of fabric like the toga before it.

"Have you ever touched yourself Artemis?" Lycaon asked, a wicked grin on his face.

"As if I'd ever tell you such a thing," the moon goddess replied, however, her red face gave away the truth well enough.

"Don't worry, this'll be a new experience for you then."

Not a moment after speaking those words, the lycanthrope violently thrust his fingers deep inside Artemis. Her eyes widened with shock as a sudden wave of both pain and pleasure shot through her, her back arched as a loud groan escaped her lips. Happy with the reaction Lycaon began thrusting two fingers in and of the goddess' virgin quim at an incredibly fast pace. Despite her best efforts to not seem affected by it, Artemis' breath was labored and paced, her eyes were dilated and she very quickly gave in to the urge to bite her lower lip to stop herself from moaning too loudly.

"Does that feel good goddess, Gaea knows you this must be overwhelming for you since you've held back your primal urges for so long," Lycaon mocked, thrusting faster and harder as he spoke to maximize his prey's reaction.

"F-Fuck you!" Artemis replied, her back arching in reluctant pleasure.

"All in good time," Lycaon shot back, smirking. "But now I think I'm going to make you explode. Before I take you, I need you to know that you're mine and I can make you cum regardless of if you want to or not. Get ready goddess, you're about to experience something mind-blowing!"

Lycaon's fingers suddenly started thrusting a lot faster than before, the sound of his fingers thrusting inside at pace against her now soaking twat audible at this point. The feeling of pleasure was quickly beginning to build within her, Artemis knew she wouldn't be able to resist for long. She tried her best to not think about the pleasure filling her from head to toe but no matter how hard she tried her whole world was just a haze of reluctant lust that made her feel so good and so terrible at the same time. Eventually, she could take it no more and with a scream, Artemis arched her back as her eyes rolled into the back of her head. The goddess squirted all over Lyacon's fingers as she reached a mind-boggling orgasm.

"There we are, my divine slut has finally shown her true self," Lycaon said smugly as he removed his fingers from her cunt. "Don't worry, there's a lot more where that came from. I'll have you calling me master and begging for release before the day is through."

Artemis was still coming down from her orgasm as she listened to the wolf man's taunting. She didn't want to think what this evil man would do to her before the day was through, but she supposed better her than her hunters. Her eyes widened as she realized she hadn't even thought about her hunters since Lycaon had started having his way with her. Turning towards the underbrush, she hoped her maiden companions had managed to make some kind of escape so that they may be spared the horrors that awaited her. After all, Lycaon himself may be formidable, but his pack wasn't all that difficult to deal with.

Her heart (and perhaps her mind) shattered at the sight of her once-great Hunters of Artemis being taken in every hole by around a dozen lycanthropes in human form.
