Sarah and John had been engaged for two months. She and John were extremely happy. Sarah was designing her own wedding dress. It was still in the sketching stages. She'd just finished eating dinner. She was in the living room sitting on the couch, continuing to sketch her wedding dress. Her cell phone rang.
"Hello?" She said.
"Hi." John said.
"Hi."
"What are you doing?"
"Sketching my wedding dress."
"I can't wait to see you in it." "I know you'll look beautiful."
"I can't wait."
"Me either." "These next three weeks are going to kill me." "I hate sleeping alone."
"Me to."
"I have nobody to reach for at night."
"It's always fun when you do that."
"Yes it is." "I don't get to do it for three weeks."
"We can do whatever you want when you come home."
"Good." "How was your checkup at the doctor today?"
"I'm as healthy as can be."
"Great." "I'm about to meet Randy for a drink."
"Have fun."
"I will."
"Tell Randy I said hi."
Ok." "I love you."
"I love you too."
"Bye."
"Bye."
The next afternoon Sarah was out to lunch. Her cell phone started to ring.
"Hello?" She said. "Hi doctor." "Is there a problem?" "Really?" She said happily and smiling. "Are you absolutely sure?" "Thank you." They hung up. "Wow." She said out loud.
Later that day she was working late in the front room, finishing a design for a client. Her back was to the front door. She heard it open and assumed it was the client.
"I'm almost done." She said. She turned around and immediately got a disgusted look on her face. "What the hell are you doing here?" "Get out, right now."
Any requests?
