On Captain Remnant's orders, the heroes scattered to their respective roles in defending Mantle. Though Grimm were swarming, Thor kept their entrance thin limiting the amount that get in at once. Any Grimm that tried coming from over the wall was immediately engaged by Iron Man. Captain Remnant and Black Widow handled the ground throwing his shield and firing her pistols at any Grimm they could find. The Hulk leaped through the streets and buildings crushing any monster that was unlucky enough to cross his path. Ant-Man and the Wasp went to the evacuation sites protecting the citizens alongside other Huntsmen and Huntresses.

As soon as he saw a pack of Beowolves heading to their direction, Ant-Man approached one of the Huntsmen. "Hey! Do you have good aim?"

"Yeah." The Huntsman answered.

"Good. I got an idea." Ant-Man held up a tiny truck with one hand and a growing disk in the other. "I'm going to throw this disk. You toss the truck right at it."

The Huntsman nodded and took the truck. Ant-Man threw his disk toward the Grimm while the other guy threw the truck right at it. As soon as they touched, the truck grew to its normal size and landed on the ground right at the Grimm's path. A fiery explosion erupted burning the Grimm and half of the street startling the civilians to evacuate faster.

"Oops. I thought that was a water truck." Ant-Man said nervously.

"Smooth move, Scott!" the Wasp cried out shooting at distant Grimm.

At a different part of Mantle, Captain Remnant and Black Widow stood back to back fighting off the Sabers. Captain Remnant somersaulted off a wall and bashed his shield right at the top of a Grimm's head before tossing it to decapitated more. Once it bounced back into Cap's hands, he was tackled by a Saber who tried to sink its teeth into him. Thankfully, Cap used his shield to keep it from closing its jaw. Black Widow saved him by shooting at the Saber's head until it disintegrated.

Black Widow then saw a pack of Sabers running down a stray road. "Can you manage?"

"I've got my shield! That's enough for me!" Captain Remnant replied.

Black Widow nodded before heading over to the Grimm she witnessed. She used her parkour skills to get around a building and cut them off at the road. They snarled before continuing their stampede towards her.

Black Widow sighed removing her contact lenses. She opened her silver eyes and glared right at the Sabers. With just her memories of her comatose friend, Yelena, she flashed a bright light that encompassed all the Grimm. When it dimmed, the Sabers were completely gone. Widow grunted and rubbed her eyes before putting her contacts back on.

Back at Captain Remnant, he found himself surrounded by more Grimm. Thankfully, Iron Man landed beside him and fired his repulsors. The blasts sent one Beowolf after another right to the walls. He then turned to face Cap who put his shield up. Iron Man blasted the shield which reflected his beam to destroy all the Grimm that surrounded them. Iron Man then shot himself upwards taking out every Grimm that was scaling upward.

"All right! JARVIS, what's our status?" Iron Man asked.

"Well, Thor just finished securing the only entry way the Grimm can get into the city now. He's currently fighting a herd of Manticores near the Crater."

"And he didn't invite me."

Thor wasn't alone. He hovered over the Mantle buildings swinging his hammer at Manticore Grimm. He also struck them with jolts of lightning. Beneath him, the Hulk had landed at a rooftop. He leaped up to grab the winged beasts before crashing them onto the ground.

Suddenly, a rumbling sound was heard. Both Thor and the Hulk turned their attention to the sound of a very large footstep. What came out was a golem-sized behemoth made entirely out of ice and stone. The face of it indicated that it was possessed by a Geist.

The Hulk roared before leaping towards the Geist. It was brought down with one punch, but it countered by punching the Hulk off of its icy chest. Thor then hovered above it giving it a gigantic lightning strike. The Geist shook, but it swatted Thor away too before standing back up. The Hulk shook himself back to focus before digging his hands to the ground. He lifted up a large piece of the street that was shaped like a spike. He then threw it right at the Geist surprising it by impaling it to its face. Thor capitalized on it by charging hammer-first right at the spike. Once it was completely through, the Geist disappeared and both the demigod and the green giant stood over its body rubble. They were both exhausted.

Hulk then punched Thor sending him off.

Tony called on the intercom. "Cap, none of this is going to mean a thing unless the Wyvern is dead!"

"Agreed." Captain Remnant said getting his shield back after a ricochet attack. He then changed his call. "General, do you read me?"

"I read you, Captain." General Ironwood answered. "What's the situation?"

"We're going off to face the Wyvern outside the city!" Captain Remnant answered leaping over a Beowolf that was about to pounce on him. "Can you spare any Huntsmen to deal with the forces here in the city?"

"I might." General Ironwood said. "Go light the monster up."

Captain Remnant nodded cutting of his transmission. Iron Man grabbed him by his wrists after that and lifted him over the city. They flew over the city walls and the rest of the heroes saw them flying. They figured it was time to attack head-on and follow their lead. Thor swung his hammer to carry him over, the Hulk leaped, Black Widow flew on her grappling hook, the Wasp used her wings, and Ant-Man rode on Ant-thony's back.

The heroes went over the city walls and right through the trail of Grimm coming in. They attacked any they could crash into with their individual powers and weapons; Iron Man's repulsors, Captain Remnant's shield, Thor's hammer, Hulk's fists, Black Widow's pistols, Ant-Man's proportionate strength, and the Wasp's stingers.

It was a trial to get through, but the heroes made it. They stopped their advance when they were face to face with the Wyvern that was dripping Grimm pools from its body.

"Any ideas?" Captain Remnant asked.

"Well, these days, gamers usually use the strategy of hitting a monster until it dies." Iron Man said. The Hulk roared and leaped up toward the Wyvern's face. "That guy gets it."

The Hulk headed straight toward the Wyvern, but just then, the Grimm opened its mouth and quickly snapped it above him. Thankfully, the Hulk placed his hands and feet onto the Wyvern's teeth and struggled to keep it from biting down on him.

"Now what?" Black Widow asked.

"Well… I've got an idea." Ant-Man said holding up one of the buttons attached to his gloves.

The Wasp knew what he had in mind. "Wait, Scott! My dad told you, that's only an experimental theory! You may not survive!"

"It may be our best shot to stop it!" Ant-Man argued. Without any other warning, he pressed the button. Suddenly, Ant-Man's entire body expanded. His arms, his legs, his chest, his head. Everything has been grown for him to match the size of the Wyvern. He laughed proudly.

"What the! He could do that the whole time?" Iron Man asked.

"We didn't know if it'd work or not." The Wasp said. "But the increase in mass will quickly exhaust him and he'd collapse, possibly to his death!"

"Then less talking and more Grimm ass to kick!" Ant-Man declared. He ran over to the Wyvern and tackled it making it release the Hulk from its teeth. He punched the Grimm in its side, but it sunk its teeth into his shoulder and threw him off. It then swung its tail to get him away, but Ant-Man caught it and kept it there.

"I don't know how long I can hold it!" Ant-Man shouted struggling to keep his grip. "Kill it now!"

The rest of the heroes went for a full on assault on the Wyvern. If it ever dripped pools to create Grimm, the Wasp would shoot at them to stop them. Black Widow fired her pistols. Hulk and Thor attacked with their heaviest strikes at its body while Iron Man focused on its head. Thor decided to get the Wyvern down by hovering above its head and striking the top of it with his hammer. The impact was enough to make its head drop and shake the ground while it did. It tried to use its wings to escape, but Ant-Man climbed on top of it and pinned its wings down. Although, he was still very exhausted.

The rest of the Grimm army turned towards the heroes and ran to attack. Unfortunately, they were stopped by the Hulk. He confronted them all and gave his loudest roar that not only stopped them in their tracks, but also shook the ice beneath them into cracking. In only a quick second, the ice shattered and all the Grimm fell into the abyss below.

"EVERYONE, WE'VE GOT TO END IT NOW!" Captain Remnant commanded. "AIM FOR ITS NECK!"

The Wyvern continued to struggle, but Ant-Man did his part to keep it down just long enough for Iron Man and Thor to consecutively fire their blasts right at the nape of its neck. The Wasp fired her stingers and Black Widow fired her pistols at different sides of its neck. The Hulk carried Captain Remnant and jumped high above the Wyvern's head before throwing him down. Captain Remnant brought his shield down aiming its sharp edge to its neck while the Hulk plummeted for a slam. All the while, Black Widow secretly removed her contact lenses preparing to blast from her silver eyes once more.

BOOM!

Right when Captain Remnant, Hulk, and Black Widow's eyes made impact on Iron Man, Thor, and the Wasp's blasts, the explosion shook the entire tundra. The sound from it even shook Ironwood's office a little. When it was over, the giant Grimm stood still and slowly turned to dust in the wind. While that happened, all the remaining Grimm were easily hunted down by the Huntsmen

The heroes took their breaths proud of their accomplishment. Meanwhile, Ant-Man began to stagger at his immense height. He stumbled from side to side before immediately shrinking back to his normal size. Unfortunately, he shrunk back in midair, so he started to fall with no chance of slowing down. Thankfully for him, the Hulk grabbed him and gently placed him on the ground with the other heroes surrounding him.

The Wasp knelt down right at Scott's body removing his helmet. His face was shown with his eyes asleep and he looked nearly half-dead.

"No. Scott!" Hope gasped. "Get up! Please! Get up, you stupid idiot!"

There was no answer… until the Hulk roared. Like that, Scott gasped as he was suddenly awake. He took a few deep breaths looking at everyone around him.

"What happened?" he asked. "Please, tell me nobody kissed me. Hold on. Hope, did you just call me a stupid idiot?"

"Uh… no." Hope lied nervously.

"Well, we won." Captain Remnant said.

"Good job, everybody." Iron Man said. "Let's not come in tomorrow. We should go out. I know this great shawarma place downtown. I don't know what it is, but I want to try it."

"Yes. Let's celebrate." Thor agreed.

"Not yet." Captain Remnant said. "We've gotta talk to the general."

"…And then, shawarma after?" Tony asked.
