It feels too short before we have to flap down to the entrance cave, but we're both starving, and we are pretty sure we're both freezing to death. "Is tomorrow afternoon good for you?" Icaricia asks.

"Yup. See you then. Goodbye," I reply.

"Bye."

We went our separate ways, her to, I supposed, classes, and me to the Prey Center. I scoffed down three mangoes and a papaya, and collected a dozen coconuts, star fruit, and mangosteen (not a dozen of each, a dozen together), and headed back to my dorm. I was almost at the end of my scroll, when I heard rushed footsteps outside, and my roommates burst in. Harp immediately rushes to my side, and Heliamphora stands there with a slightly smug smile on her face.

"Oh Bluemoon! What happened? Are you all right? Do you-" Harp asks.

"Did you kiss?" Haliamphora interrupts.

"Yeeeees?"

"I KNEW IT!" screams Heliamphora. "When that dragon rushed out of the cave after you, I just knew that she was in love! And you were already in love! I mean, it's sooo predictable, but, like, still!"

"Shoosh Heli! I know you're ecstatic, but look at her! Poor chick! Speaking of chicks, I'm going to the Prey Center to catch an auk chick. Or just an auk. Yeah, an auk, I have a soft spot for chicks. She edged out of the room, while pointing two talons at first her eyes and then Heliamphora. After she left, Heliamphora sat down next to me, and said," okay, firstly, you can call me Heli, and secondly, tell me all about it." 'Heli's' eyes became wild with excitement.

So I sit down, and take a breath, and start telling Heliamphora the whole story. I start with me running away, then go on to the rock, and finish with our goodbyes in the entrance hall. At the end, she looks at me, and tilts her head.

I think that Bluemoon is going on the right track. But it's like super weirdto have a roommate who's in love. And I suspected it all along. So, what am I meant to do now? Do I help her with everything? Or just leave Bluemoon to do her own thing? Or do I. . . I don't know.

Hurried thoughts raced into Heli's mind, and flew out again. What was she meant to do? And what was I meant to do, anyways? I was puzzling through this, when I noticed a strange mark on our cave wall. I was sure it hadn't been there before. I went to look at it, but it was above eye level, so I flapped up until I could see it. The mark looked like a twisted metal crown with sharp points. I brushed my claw against it, and my mind was blinded with white. I crumpled onto the flor, and saw a young NightWing on a ledge, clutching her head and murmuring.

But then it was over, and I back to consciousness, only to once again see a small crowd gathered around me. Heliamphora had her hand on my head, and Harp was holding my talon. Clay was there, and was checking my pulse, while Sunny stood a little ways off, talking to a fierce looking blue dragon, who I remembered was Tsunami, the head of the academy.

Clay said something that sounded like ,"ah oo oay? Ee-or oe worwied. Wets gedoo oo tee heawing dave." Clay picked me up by my shoulders, and Tsunami came over to take my feet, and I was ferried out of the cave. Soon, I was bundled up in blankets and shawls, on a spongy bed stuffed with horse hair. Clay was giving e some willow bark to chew on, but it was so bitter, that I spat it out almost immediately. Clay gave me a sip of water, but it was actually infused with willow! What was with these people?!

But it was okay, because I quickly learned that willow bark was a painkiller, 'cause I started to feel better after a while. When evrything had calmed down, and almost everyone had left, I rolled over and whispered to myself," I think I just had my first vision."
