Princess Trish of House Passione, the first of her name, had been arranged to marry Bruno Bucciarati the Fishermen's Knight. They'd never met, but King Diavolo had promised his daughter to the first man to clear his debt to the Bank of Naples, and bring him an army. Bruno began his term as commander of the Navy at an unusually young age, he had a reputation of being ruthless. Nevertheless, he had accepted to put his navy men at the service of King Diavolo, for the exchange of his daughter's hand. Bruno had only been knighted because of his extraordinary abilities in combat, but if he married the Princess he would gain a royal title and with it would gain more power. The arrangement was strictly superficial, in fact Bruno had never even met the Princess of Passione.

"Father, I don't want to marry this Bruno… why can't I marry Prince Giorno? We've known each other since we were children, I care for him deeply!" Cried Princess Trish in her mother's arms.

Diavolo looked out the window of his and the queens royal chamber. He was expecting the knight to arrive before midday to make proper introductions between himself and the Princess. "Because Prince Giorno doesn't have any gold. All he has is the Joestar name… he's a poor bastard. He doesn't hold any real power… Bruno Bucciarati has an entire navy under his name… " Diavolo turned around and smirked. "And gold, my little Princess… lots and lots of gold that he will certainly share with us, if you marry him."

"They say The Fisherman's suit of armor is made of white gold, with bright yellow golden accents…" Said her uncle Doppio, wanting to paint an impressive picture for the princess. "They say men surrender by simply looking at him."

Trish looked at her uncle with disgust, "They also say he started murdering men when he was merely a 12 year old child. This monster didn't even have a childhood. Father, I am your only daughter, don't you want me to be happy? Don't you want me to be with someone who will love me?" She said, from in between her mother's embrace. Her mother did the only thing a Queen mother could do in such a disposition; stayed silent and cradled her, wanting to bring her comfort.

"Love?" Diavolo turned back to face the landscape from the window. "You are a Princess, you are royalty, love was never in the cards for you my dear, the sooner you realize that the better off you will be."

The Queen mother continued to cradle her daughter and whispered. "You will learn to love each other my darling, it's going to be alright." And dried off her daughter's tears with the back of her hand.

"He's a cold blooded monster…" Said Trish, in somberment. "I will never love him."

The bells inside the castle started going off, announcing the Knight's arrival. Diavolo and Doppio rushed off to formally meet him in the courtyard, followed by a very reluctant Trish and her mother.

Bruno rode into the courtyard of the palace in his large white horse, Sticky Fingers. The rumors were true, his armour was made of pure white gold that shimmered against the rays of the sun, he was impressive even at a first glance.

"Sir Bruno Bucciarati, welcome to my kingdom, welcome to my castle." Greeted King Diavolo, smiling from ear to ear, by the looks of Bruno and his crew he was even richer than the rumors led on. "I hope you enjoyed your journey."

Bruno halted at a respectful distance and skillfully jumped off his horse. He then gave the reins to a young brunette boy who seemed to be his squire. "Our journey went well, your majesty." Said Bruno as he kneeled in front of Diavolo. Princess Trish was to the left side of Diavolo, as it was customary, she then tried to look at Bruno's face underneath the helmet to no avail as it was completely covered. She felt so much fear of the unknown, even with all the beautiful sparkly white gold in the world the Princess felt fearful of this man. An anxiety attack overcame her, as she was presented with the man whom she was going to be married off to, forever. As Bruno was getting up, and getting ready to greet her, the princess became overwhelmed and fainted.

When the Princess awoke from her episode, she was back in her room. Her mother was next to her, cooling her off with a wet towel. "Mother, what happened?!" She quickly sat up, looked around and then looked at her mother for answers.

"You fainted, Sir Bruno said it was heatstroke." Her mother continued to clean her face with the cool, wet towel. Trish noticed something new on her mother's expression, a smile.

"Where's Bruno?" The Princess asked, still anxious.

"He's gone." Answered her mother.

"I can't believe I missed my chance to meet him… now I'll be marrying a complete stranger…" Lamented Trish, as her mother continued to smile down at her.

"Trish, it's going to be alright. I had a chance to talk to Sir Bruno Bucciarati and he's a very nice man…" Her mother continued to pleasently smile.

"Mother how can you say that?!" Demanded Trish, shocked her mother could make up her mind after meeting him for only a few minutes.

"Call it mother's intuition." Said the Queen, and finally put away the cloth as Princess Trish was finally feeling herself. "He was very kind, he carefully carried you in his arms to your bedroom… He did so very tenderly…" She finished off, somewhat vaguely.

Trish scrunched up her eyebrows. "He carried me in his arms? How shameful… he must think he's marrying some weak little girl…" She said, as she folded her arms. "Mother… Did you get a chance to see his face? What did Sir Bruno look like?" And looked at her mother.

The Queen smiled, "Yes, he took off his helmet when he was in here, checking on you. He's a very handsome man."

Princess Trish was surprised to know this, Bruno didn't really have a reputation for being handsome, when people talked about him they talked about all his qualities, except his looks. "I wasn't expecting that…"

The Queen began to blush, "I'm going to have the most beautiful little grandchildren." She said as she drifted off into fantasyland looking off into the distance.

"MOTHER!" Princess Trish, rebutted in embarrassment. "Stop it!"

"It's true my dear little Princess, he has the most kind, beautiful blue eyes I've ever seen." Her mother said as she remembered her brief encounter with the handsome knight. "Trish you will fall in love with him, there's no doubt in my mind."

Princess Trish was speechless, she couldn't believe it. Her mother had been bewitched by this Knight, this Bruno Bucciarati, then suddenly she felt self-conscious knowing he was so impressive. This whole time she thought she would be marrying some monster, filled with battle scars not… a Prince. "Did um… did he say anything… a-about... me, mother?" The Princess asked as she combed through her long, pink locks with her fingers.

"No." Her mother answered, bluntly. "He didn't say much, but he liked you. I'm sure."

"How can you be sure?" She said, suddenly worried her Knight wouldn't like her.

"... " Her mother exhaled, "I think the Knight fell in love with you the moment he laid eyes on you my sweet…" And smiled.

Princess Trish was skeptical of her mother's overconfidence. "Oh, so he loves me now?"

"I'm certain." The Queen mother said, with great confidence. "He couldn't stop staring at you, even as we talked, his eyes kept drifting over to you… It was very sweet."

Princess Trish tightened the hold on her arms, feeling really insecure and skeptical as her mother kept smiling and looking off into the distance.

The day of the wedding had finally arrived, the church had been decorated from top to bottom filled with white and red flowers to signify the union of both houses. Sir Bruno Bucciarati had even sent the princess a large flower arrangement, as a gift for his bride to be. The gesture overwhelmed the princess, she was still very skeptical and unsure of this man.

But the moment of truth had finally come, at the end of the aisle she waited for her father to walk her down the rows of guests and into her future husband's arms. Princess Trish wanted to run away so badly, she kept stalling, walking slowly but her father kept pulling her forward, unamused. Out of the corner of her eye she saw Prince Giorno, whom she'd grown up with, smiling kindly at her and she wished so badly she was marrying him instead. She walked past Giorno and the moment of truth came. Sir Bruno Bucciarati was behind her father, and as her father stepped out for Bruno to take her hand she finally had a chance to see him.

He was incredibly handsome, almost angelic. Bruno Bucciarati looked into her eyes and smiled, "Take my hand." He said to her in a gentle tone. Princess Trish focused on the man in front of her and took his hand and accompanied him to the altar. Once they were in front of the royal priest, Bruno let go of her hand so the ceremony could begin. She didn't look at him at all during the ceremony, still afraid. As the ceremony ended, they proceeded to go into the Passione Hall, where they held all the wedding celebrations.

Throughout the night she didn't actually get a chance to speak to the Knight who was now her husband. Between all the formalities and all the people wanting to speak directly with the famous Fisherman Knight, about his adventures at sea, she barely spoke two words to him.

The Queen came to sit by her daughter to see how she was feeling. "Do you love him yet?"

"Do I love him? Mother, I barely know him…" The princess said, annoyed at the question. How can she be expected to love him all of a sudden? She had barely spoken two words to him, 'I do'.

Her mother smiled and held her daughter's hand between her own. "Well Bruno is already in love with you… Just look at him, he can't stop staring at you." And Princess Trish looked back at the Knight, her now husband, and it was true… every other moment he would direct his gaze at her, no matter who he was speaking with. When she locked eyes with him, she felt butterflies in her stomach as her cheeks became crimson red.

"He's just curious about me, that's all… " She said, trying to play it off.

"Let's get you some cake to celebrate, this is going to be a wonderful marriage." Her mother had decided.

Princess Trish then looked back to her husband, the Knight as he smiled at her from a distance and for the first time she thought that, just maybe, her mother was right. Nevertheless, she was still petrified about what came later, the consummation of the marriage. She was now legally bound to consummate the marriage and make love to the Knight before the morning. It was customary to consummate the marriage before they leave the kingdom as a married couple. She'd never even been kissed, how was she supposed to consummate a marriage?

Later that night, Princess Trish had been carried off to her chamber that she would now be sharing with her new husband. Her room had been decorated with romantic petals of flowers, and scented love potions, candles burning and wine by the nightstand. She was terrified, she wasn't ready for any of it. She slowly tried to take off her wedding dress by herself, as she had dismissed all her maids to have a few moments alone.

Then Bruno walked in. "Princess Trish, you're getting ready for bed?"

The princess nodded, and shyly looked down at her corset pushing her breasts together, as she was stuck and unable to reach the lace behind her back. "I'll call the maids to help me…" She said, not sure what she was supposed to do or say to her new husband.

"I can help you with that." Bruno said and walked over to the bed, and sat next to her to help her unravel the ivory white corset. As the buttons came loose, the dress started to slowly fall and pool around her waist. Her hair was long enough to still cover her breasts, but even so she had the knee-jerk reaction to cover herself up when she became exposed. Her heart began racing, as she knew he would try to touch her skin at any moment and she wasn't ready.

"That should do it." He said, and walked away from the bed and began undressing himself. He took off his wardrobe and soon he was shirtless… then the pants came off.

Trish swallowed hard, her face became hot and red. She'd never seen a naked man before, she wanted to avert her eyes, but this was her husband and she was supposed to consummate something with him. She looked down at her lap, instead.

"I hate wearing knickers to bed, I hope you don't mind, Princess." Said Bruno as he neatly folded all the items, very unusual for a man to do such a considerate thing. Then, he placed all the items on top of a chair. Lastly, he took off the crown that had been designed to adorn his head for the event.

"I'm going to take a quick bath, if you don't mind." He kept including her on all his decisions, Trish was so puzzled by it all. She didn't know what to say and simply nodded.

As Bruno took his bath the princess took off all her clothes and got in her nightgown, undid her own hairstyle and removed her crown. As she brushed her hair Bruno came out of the shower and dried off, exposing his naked body to her. She blushed and looked at her lap as she continued brushing her hair. She sucked in air, expecting Bruno to touch her at any moment… but Bruno crawled into bed and covered his midriff with a sheet. He exhaled and leaned back, then closed his eyes. "Much better…"

The Princess was puzzled, did he expect her to come to him? She once again swallowed hard, and decided to get it over with. The anxiety was killing her. She slowly walked over to her bed, that she would now be sharing with her husband. She sat on the edge of her side of the bed, and finally took a good look at her brand new husband's body. He looked like the greek statues at the piazza, and his skin tone was as beautiful as the paintings on the ceiling of the Cathedral. Then she noticed his chest was covered by markings, a tattoo that hugged his upper chest. "You have a tattoo."

Bruno opened his eyes and looked down at his abdomen and traced a finger along the markings. "I wanted to cover up some really nasty scars."

A new piece of information about her husband intrigued her. "How did you get them?" She said getting a little bit closer, wanting to see the markings beneath the tattoo, almost wanting to touch them. He gently grabbed her hand, which startled her and traced her finger along the scarring beneath the ink.

"Right there, you feel it?" He asked, looking down at the spot on his abdomen.

Trish nodded.

"When I was about 12 years old, two men came into our home and tried to kill my father in his sleep. I grabbed my father's pocket knife and killed both of them, before they got a chance to hurt him. But, I was outnumbered, so they managed to cut me up before I finished them off."

Trish's eyes widened at the story. So it was true, he had murdered men from a young age, but it was self defense. "I can't believe it… weren't you scared?"

"Terrified." He said humbly. "I was just a kid."

Trish had the sudden urge to put her arms around her husband and protect him, but she placed her hand on top of his instead. "I'm really sorry you had to go through that."

He smiled at her. "It's okay. It was a long time ago." And then looked at her lips, "Princess, I wanted to talk to you about tonight…"

Then Trish's entire body became twenty degrees warmer, as she removed her hand from his and placed it on her lap. A breathy, "Oh?" Was all she could manage to respond.

"I'm not going to touch you until you want me to." He said, quickly removing all her fears.

She quickly looked at him in the eyes, to make sure she heard right. "Are you sure?"

He nodded, "I'm certain, Princess." Then he sat up, "All I ask is for one kiss, from you." He then looked into her eyes and waited for her response.

"One kiss? That's all?" She said, feeling like it was the negotiation of a lifetime. He nodded yes. "Of course… we can share one kiss… on our wedding night." And smiled at him, touched by his patience and understanding.

Then Bruno leaned in and pulled her face close with the palm of his hand on her jaw and neck, and connected his lips with hers. His soft, warm lips, caressed hers gently, he then tasted her with his tongue. The Princess was very much enjoying her first kiss, she leaned into it and kissed him back, and also wanted to taste him. His kindness, his warmth both physical and emotional were overwhelming; Bruno's gentle heart had finally pierced the Princess' emotional walls.

The Princess had fallen in love. Enchanted by the Knight's passionate kiss, she wanted to continue, but when Bruno broke the kiss, she didn't know how to ask for more. Bruno looked into her eyes one last time and smiled, then kissed her again, but this time on her forehead. He leaned back down and said goodnight, then closed his eyes. Princess Trish was left lust filled with desire after their fervent kiss.

She wanted to continue, she wanted to consummate the marriage after all… but The Knight had been so gentle and patient, she didn't know how to bring up the fact that she wanted more from him already. So she laid on her side of the bed, unsatisfied and looked at her gorgeous husband and bit her lip. She closed her eyes and thought about the kiss they shared over and over, remembering every detail of his tongue on hers until The Princess finally fell asleep.

The next morning, King Diavolo invited Sir Bruno for some ceremonial hunting of wild beasts. Bruno was expected to kill something and offer it to the father of the bride. King Diavolo kept joking that the marriage would be off if Bruno didn't find a large enough animal to impress him with. Thankfully Bruno was a very skilled fisherman and later that day he would bring him the largest beast the palace had ever seen. He would also bring some wild flowers for The Princess.

But before they left on their journey, which could take a day or maybe two. The Princess ran up to her new husband as he was getting ready to mount his horse, Sticky Fingers. "Sir Bruno!" She shouted announcing herself. Bruno immediately smiled upon seeing her, "My Princess."

"Take care of yourself, Sir Bruno… My father, the King… he can be diabolical on these hunting trips…" She warned him, half joking, half serious. The King was known to go overboard and hurt anyone who stood in the way of a great kill for him.

"I'll come back safe, I promise you, my Princess." He said, and his gaze trailed down at her lips.

Trish looked up at him, her handsome Knight, completely in love. "Bruno I… can I… can we…. share another kiss before you leave?" She asked, shyly. He nodded, then quickly, as if he'd been thinking it himself, pressed his lips against hers. This time he grabbed her waist and pulled her onto his body, running his hands up and down the small of her back. By the end of the kiss, the Princess was left breathless.

"Um… S-Sir Bruno… I think that... " She swallowed the saliva that was quickly accumulating due to her stutter, but was then encouraged by the way Bruno looked at her with adoration.

"Yes, my Princess?" He asked as he waited for her answer, and continued to look at her lips wanting more kisses.

"Well, when you come back from the trip with Father… I think I'll be ready to um.. " She couldn't say it, she wanted to, so badly, but the words would not come out.

"Make love?" He finished for her, and pressed his lips against hers again, unable to contain himself.

"Hmmhmm." She confirmed and pressed her breasts against him, wanting more and more contact.

By now King Diavolo was more than ready to get his fix, and hurried Bruno to end his goodbye with Princess Trish. "Let's go!" The King shouted curtly and took off on his horse, King Crimson.

Bruno gave her one last kiss, "Don't change your mind okay?" He said, teasingly. He then mounted his horse and took off rapidly trying to catch up to the King.

Princess Trish waved him off, until she reached the gates and stood there watching him leave.

The Queen came up to her daughter and wrapped her arms around her waist, as she saw how lovingly her daughter watched her husband gallop away.

"Do you love him yet?" She asked again, with an enormous grin on her face.

"I do." The Princess said, as she quickly began to miss him. "I love him."

The End
