Obviously everyone knows these are not my characters, just my idea for a story based off ACATAR. I'm going to stop posting disclaimers lol as I don't think they're needed. Anyways enjoy!

(I know the chapters are short, just bare with me)

Chapter 3 - Feyre:

I glanced up as Mr. Wilder addressed the male standing in the doorway, something about him seemed vaguely familiar. His dark hair was tossed to perfection, as his face was set into a lazy smirk. A backpack slung over one shoulder, which made him appear more casual despite his striking presence. His violet eyes shot to mine as Mr. Wilder called my name gesturing to the open seat on my left. I looked away as he made his way over, steps easy and relaxed. I realized to my horror that I'd forgotten my pencil bag at home and would have to ask to borrow one. He handed me his, and I moved to object, I couldn't possibly just take his, but he had already grabbed another.

"I'm Rhys." His voice was like midnight silk. It caught me off guard. Though again, I felt as if I'd heard it somewhere before.

"Feyre-" I replied, I was going to add more but class began.

Mr. Wilder went on talking about the funding of our town and the history of Phythain High. There were seven founding Families who owned the plots of the town, the Dawns, the Days, the Nights, Mr. Wilder nodded to Rhys, the Winters, the Springs, the Summers, and the Autumns. Quite fitting right? Each family was rumored to have some type of power, but no one really knew if there was any truth in that. It was so strange to hear Mr. Wilder talk about these things as if they were normal. Maybe to these people they were. See, my family and I were from the next town over, when I got expelled from the High School there I was forced to attend the school here in Phythain. I hated it at first, there were so many stereotypes and whispered stories of the rich assholes who lived one town over, but so far it hasn't been that bad. Granted, everyone here is gorgeous. I mean absolutely beautiful, I'm not sure if it's something in their water, or those strange powers Mr. W spoke of, but it was definitely strange. They all moved with an immortal like grace but were just as mortal as me. I had given up a year ago as to figuring out what it was. Here it was different, no one spoke of my old school, or the residents in the next town. Instead the whispers were about some lady named Amara, she seemed to strike fear into all of them. And no one would give me a straight answer.

"Mrs. Acheron? Are you with us?" Mr. Wilder stared at me as if expecting an answer.

"Huh?" The other students all chuckled.

"It's the Night family" The male-Rhys whispered.

"Oh, the night family" My voice came out sounding unsure, but Mr. Wilder gave me a nod of approval. I gave Rhys a grateful smile, and he just nodded as if he could read the thank you in my eyes.

After class I headed out the door, almost running straight into Tam. I wrapped my arms around him smiling, but his gaze was settled on someone else. His arms tightened around me as someone approached.

"Rhysand." Tams voice was gruff and unwelcoming.

"Tamlin." Rhys gave him a curt nod, his voice icy cold as he brushed passed. I looked up at him.

"What was that about?" Tam just gave me a warm smile and a quick kiss.

"Nothing love. Come on, let's go meet up with Lucien and grab lunch." He tucked me under his arm and we headed down the halls. I held in my questions, deciding now wasn't the best time to pick a fight.

Next chapter is from Rhys POV!
