Chapter 5 - Feyre:

"Tamlin?" I looked up at him sweetly.

"Yes, Feyre?" There was a hint of annoyance in his voice.

"Can we go out to a party tomorrow? It's been awhile since we've had any fun with the group!" I already knew his answer, but I figured it couldn't hurt to ask anyways.

"Feyre, love, I've told you many times. I don't want you at those parties!" He replied firmly.

"Tam! Please! You never let me go out, I am slowly wasting awayyyyy!" I fell back on the bed with a huff.

"Stop being so dramatic, Feyre. Look, how about you and Ianthe hangout this weekend? I'll take Luc and we'll go out with the guys. You can have a girls weekend!" He was trying to find some common ground.

"Fine." I stalked off, leaving my boyfriend to deal with all his work stuff. Ugh he was so frustrating and never let me do anything. And then he gets pissed when I sneak out. I huffed and closed the door to my huge room. I settled back down on my bed and found my thoughts drifting back to the guy with the violet eyes. Rhys? Wasn't that his name? I shrugged. Why did he seem so familiar? A sharp knock sounded on my door, before the blue clad girl barged in.

"Hey Feyre!! Tam said we're having a girls weekend!" Her enthusiasm was a bit contagious.

"Hey The (Th-E)! And yeah, I guess." I sent her a warm smile. With one fluid movement she plopped down on the bed beside me.

"We should go out and do something fun! Tamlin never needs to know." she whispered, flashing me a conspirator's grin. I returned it, she really knew how to cheer me up.

"Anyways, whatcha up too?" She peered at the book I'd been reading moments ago.

"Nothing really, I just got back about an hour ago. Why?" I replied.

"I don't know. I'm just bored." she laughed. It fell silent for a few moments as I decided to start my homework.

"Do you love Tamlin?" The question came out of nowhere and was too casual to be completely innocent. I thought for a moment, before realizing the truth.

"Yeah, yes. I do." The smile that stretched across my face was genuine and happy. Hers matched.

"You have to tell him soon!" She exclaimed.

"I will! I definitely will!" Despite the grin that stretched across my face, for some reason I had a feeling deep in my gut that I shouldn't say anything.

"Alright," she gestured to the bed where all my binders were now sprawled all over, "I'll leave you to it! Cya tomorrow morning!" She exited gracefully, clicking the door shut behind her. I sighed, and dug into my school work.
