A delicate, lithe female stood at the entrance to the kingdom of Flaresina, a faraway kingdom that stood a sea's length away from the land of Fodlan. This female was the queen of Flaresina. Her name was Alesina, the queen of Flaresina, the wife of the former king Herino, the mother of a little girl named Dessa, and the soon-to-be mother of a little princess who would change the history of her kingdom.
Alesina had been once born a servant under Herino, but her love for him was so great, they were later wed, and Alesina became queen. They lived a good life until Alesina had been expecting their second child. Herino was killed in a battle between Flaresina and the Adrestian Empire, and to protect her kingdom, Flaresina was forced to give up Dessa, and never knew what happened to her.
A servant brought Alesina back to the present. "Lady Alesina, you don't look well. Perhaps you should lie down."
"I can't stop thinking about her," whispered Alesina.
The servant gave Alesina's shoulder a comforting squeeze. "I understand how you feel, Lady Alesina. But you mustn't worry about your daughter. I have brought a report. While she is still in Fodlan, she isn't under the control of Adrestia. The Leicester Alliance has taken her in."
Alesina sighed with relief. "That's good to hear."
"Now then, come along…."
As Alesina followed the servant in, the most spectacular thing happened. The unborn baby came into the world, and was named Fira. An old fortune teller predicted that she and Dessa would alter the course of history forever.
Yes, I know this is a short prologue, and may be confusing, but I'm trying my best. Plus, more of the action comes into the story itself, not the prologue.
