CHAPTER 1
"Good Morning, Lucy!" Mira waved a hand, greeting me. "Why are you up here so early, you usually don't come till about nine-ish?"
"Oh, I just came to take a solo mission," I had to get up earlier than usual, otherwise Natsu would have forced me into taking him with me. It felt wrong but I couldn't have him destroying everything like he did, especially since the award they're giving is a big gain. Mira nodded, not questioning any further and let me go. I walked over to the request board and scanned over the missions and grabbed the paper I had seen yesterday.
I walked over to the bar counter, "I'd like to go on this one, Mira" She gave a gentle smile and stamped the paper, notifying I had taken it.
"Good luck Lucy, be safe!"
"Of course, Mira, bye!" I walked out the guild doors to the train station in Magnolia. Once I had arrived, I bought the ticket to Koroko Village.
I went to my seat in the train, it would take about 5-6 hours to get to Koroko. I laid my head on the back seat closing my eyes, deciding to take a short nap for the time being.

I woke up in the unusually uncomfortable bed, my head sat up from the pillows. Blinking my eyes a few times to set my vision, I noticed the only thing -or person- that made this bed as comfortable as it is, gone. "Lucy?" I questioned aloud, noting my missing blond best friend nowhere to be seen. Happy was sleeping peacefully at the end of the bed.
I sat up straight, tossing my legs over the side of the bed and stood up. I walked across the icy hardwood floors and crept over to the bathroom. "Lucy?" I spoke aloud again, waiting to hear a call back if she was in there. I didn't smell her, but I wanted to make sure, "are you in here?" No one answered, 'she must be at the guild then, but why so early?' Her scent was distant, like she hasn't been here for hours, besides the other things that carry her scent.
I walked back over to the bed and grabbed my vest and pants the Lucy neatly folded and cleaned the night before. After dressing I went over to Happy, gently shaking him to wake up. He grumbled in his sleep, opening his eyes to look up at me. "Natsu? What's the matter?"
"Come on, we have to go to the guild."
He gave me a questioning gaze, "right now, why?" He examined the room, a slight glint of awareness in his eyes. "Where is Lucy at?"
