Glinda, Emma and Regina all gathered in a circle around the cup with Zelena staying on the floor.

"Why we are not destroying it with him inside is beyond me." She grumbled, folding her arms.

"We're not going to stoop to that level." Emma replied, pacing round to her position.

"Sorry Dark One but I think you lost all moral high-ground when you puppeteered a little girl to break your son's heart."

"Ignore her." Regina replied, tiring of Zelena already.

"And you lost it when you stole my baby."

"I'm pretty sure Regina lost moral high ground long before that." Emma scoffed. "And don't worry, I am ignoring her." She added, looking to Regina who lazily looked back, clearly still unimpressed with her first remark.

"We will need a non-magical person to say the chant and we can't use the cup to make them and destroy itself." Glinda informed them. "The last time this happened they used the water of the well."

"We don't have that liberty as the well sucked itself back into where they trapped it. Of course we could go back in." Regina joked. "I'll take Zelena this time. We can test that theory on whether light magic can leave the dark one to rot inside." She eyed her.

"Aww. Family holiday?" Zelena scowled back sarcastically. As Regina took up the invitation for the fight.

"As I recall you don't have a good history with wells."

"But I still fancy my chances of drowning you in one - " The two continued to bicker until Emma raised her hand. "No-one is going back in the cave. We can just you know...use his heart again."

She indicated with her head as Regina gave her a surprised look.

"You're genuinely suggesting that again? What happened to not using my methods."

"Well we're desperate and he's hardly an innocent rock troll. You pickpocketed the riddler, I can condone ripping out one more heart." She folded her arms, keeping her tone stubborn to try and maintain some authority.

"Very well." Regina nodded. "Do you want to do it or shall I?"

"You, definitely. I won't stop you but I still think I need to stay off that kind of power kick. I just can't stomach inflicting the pain." Emma winced, looking Walsh up and down. As much as she despised him right now it still didn't make her comfortable to torture him.

"Well it's nice to know you didn't mind doing it to me." Regina teased gently, nudging her as she passed.

"Buckle up, Walsh." She announced before launching her hand into his chest again. "Now remember, witch commands like this have more power than even your little cup so here's the plan. You hold the cup, you say the chant, you put the cup down. I already broke the little stealing fix, you try anything else you have four extremely pissed off and powerful people ready to give you a true lesson in magic, understand?" She finished talking into his heart. He nodded, bitterly, getting off the floor.

"Get up, Zelena, your magic will be returned at the second Walsh recites the chant and you're going to destroy this cup with us. Then you're going to disappear far away. You can deliver your next blow some other time but we didn't have to save your ass so you can at least give us time to leave."

"It'll just give me more time to figure out how to get my daughter." She quipped back as Regina darted her with her eyes, the mutual disgust and distrust they had for each other shining boldly.

"And what about that creature?" She spat, tossing her chin at Walsh's cowardly body.

"He will be detained and tried." Glinda announced. "He will be utterly powerless."

"If it was up to me he would be lots of other -less things too. Armless. Footless. Headless." She snarled as Emma silenced her with a flick of her hand, catching her tongue and causing her to momentarily choke on the words.

"That's why it's not up to you. Or you." She anticipated Regina's addition that she knew was about to follow. "We'll trust Glinda to administer whatever justice is deserved."

"Alright, Sheriff. Very well." Regina rolled her eyes. "Now let's get on with this. Monkey, dance." She ordered into the heart, finally letting go of the cup and placing it on a podium she materialised in the centre of their circle.

Walsh walked up to it and grabbed the handles, desperate to do his own bidding with it one last time but he felt the squeeze on his heart from Regina's hand and he began to chant. He knew it from the story of Caradagh's failure being burnt onto his mind. The fear of experiencing a similar fate had haunted him but he had been so close. The rhunic words spilled out as the four witches braced themselves, Zelena the most reluctant but soon enough raising her hands as her magic flowed back.

As the final words were said and the chalice began to jiggle and glow ,the four of them focussed their power and streams of purple, white and green came from them, blasting it from four corners. Walsh let go as Emma tossed him back with a spare flick of her hand and his eyes teared up as the cup began to whirr and tear along with his dreams of his revenge. Finally it snapped in two, the parts clanging to the floor with an anti-climactic din.

"It is done." He whispered, wounded before giving a scream of pain that quickly turned into convulsions.

"What's happening?" Emma ran to him, followed by Regina before there was another crack.

"I'll let you go, but I'm not leaving him." Zelena cackled as her broomstick appeared and Walsh's body was lifted from the floor as she took off. Both Emma and Regina tried to stop her with blasts but she was too fast and soon enough both she and Walsh had been zipped away.

"Leave them." Glinda ordered as both Emma and Regina looked ready to fire at wherever she could have gone.

"We will try and find him. She won't kill him, she is too self-centred."

"My concern of what happens to that crank is nothing compared to my concern of what she is going to do next." Regina sighed as the last of the green smoke cleared. Before anyone could respond there was a rumbling that came from outside. It grew louder and louder until there was a crash and a dozen rocks rolled into the arena.

"Protect the cup! Protect the cup! Thieves! They stole the cup!" The trolls sang in chorus, spears raised and settling inches from Regina and Emma.

"I wondered when you'd catch up." Regina muttered as the leader shook his spear closer to her face.

"Enough trolls, these are friends and the cup is safe." Glinda ordered as the trolls appeared to relent at her trusted words.

"We were given instructions to follow your orders, ma'am." The leader stated, still eyeing Regina nervously. "But are you sure we can trust these witches?"

"They're not just witches, troll. They're our saviours." She smiled at Emma who blushed, trying to divert her eye.

"Now you must take it back to Arendelle and discuss safety measures there with Queen Elsa. The well is here in Oz and this part." Glinda turned to Regina. "Can we rely on you to seal this away somewhere that no-one will be able to find it?"

"We can certainly try." She nodded. "But we have to find a way to get home."

"Here." Glinda flickered her fingers and one of Regina's amulets emerged. He stole three, this is the third. I managed to steal one when I broke into his lair to try and get the message through but then he absorbed me into the cup before I could try and use it. It should have its full magic to reconnect with its counterpart."

"Thank you." Regina replied, taking it from her. She turned to Emma.

"Uhm, Emma -" A small voice shouted as they remembered the mirror.

"Right." She ran over and picked it up. "Looks like we did it!" She smiled as Mary Margaret clasped her hands with pride, holding back a tear.

"Well done, Swan. And you Regina." Hook added. "We'll meet you back at the tree." Belle agreed, also grinning with fondness. Emma looked up, clearing her throat with a clear hint. Regina looked back bemused before rolling her eyes.

"And thank you all for your help. It would have at least been much harder without it." She conceded as Emma shook her head with a smile. "But I'm going to throw some money at cross-referencing the library." She nodded to Belle. "Make sure we have an inventory of every document so we know if something is missing." Emma raised her hand, ready to wipe.

"We'll see you back home!" Mary Margaret bid them farewell as they said their goodbyes and she stopped the connection.

"Now come on Swan." Regina examined the dome. "For your next lesson I'm going to teach you how to make our very own well's cave and make sure this never sees the light of day again."

"In other words you need my magic to help you do it." Emma laughed as Regina pushed past her, offended.

"Oh now you're all arrogant about your powers again." She jibed. "Never mind that you almost didn't come and get them in the first place or that you couldn't even recognise that if yours weren't working then mine wouldn't either or-" The bickering faded into the distance as they left materialised back to their starting point.

"Nothing like being back." Emma sighed peacefully, collapsing back into her chair at the station. They had spent the rest of the day devising a protection for the dome in a place that only the two of them knew and ensuring it would be even harder than the well had been for anyone to obtain.

"The dome is buried. Walsh is probably a monkey again and finally -" She waved her hand and two lattes appeared. "We can have those coffees." She handed one to Regina.

"My little thank you for not letting me give up." She smiled as Regina took it and they clinked the cups together. "It's so good to have magic back!"

"Here it is." They were interrupted as Hook appeared through the door with a bag in his hand that he promptly handed to Regina.

"That should cover the cost of hiring an expert to fix the damage and I am sorry. Again. That much rum never ends well." He folded his arms, standing behind Emma.

"I thought you could never have too much rum." She teased him as he gave her a toothy smile.

"I meant that much rum in you, Swan." He added as she gently slapped his leg as he leaned down to kiss her. "I have been very much looking forward to your return." He whispered as Emma gave him a wide eyed smile back.

"That does just about cover the damage." Regina announced, breaking the moment. "And now my gift to you, Emma. As a thank you for -"

"Knowing when and how to kill you?" Emma smiled smugly as Regina nodded flashing her one of her own. "In a manner of speaking, yes." She picked up a file. "Here. As a thank you, I will give you an extra day to finish these." She slapped it down in front of Emma.

"The accounts? Are you kidding me?" Emma's face dropped. "We just got back from being captured by rock trolls, playing cave magic roulette and nearly killing each other on behalf of a psycho monkey and now you're making me do paperwork?"

"And it's because of all that I would assume some paperwork would be a refreshing change. The world doesn't stop turning just because someone tried to spin it out of control. I'd also point out there's another document in there." She leaned over to open the file, pointing at a booklet within. "The review for my proposed initiative on vandalism we were discussing." Emma rubbed her thumb down her forehead, opening the several page document.

"And while you're doing that Hook can be the guinea pig for it." She looked at the pirate as both lovers looked back blankly. With a smile and a wave of her arm she sent him clattering into the jail cell behind. "Storybrooke law enforcement of incarceration for vandalism." She said boldly and continued before either could complain.

"You can't just suddenly impose that, I'm the Sheriff!" Emma protested.

"Then you better make that clear in the paperwork so that he can be released." She flashed them a devilish smile and Emma dived her head back as Hook gripped on the bars. "You can bring me the report with the accounts and I'll let him out then."

"Regina, come on now. You've proven your point...Regina!" Hook shouted as she began to walk out.

"I'll let you out, Hook." Emma assured him, knowing that Regina was just trying to teach them a lesson.

"It's sealed with a special spell and trust me, it'll be quicker to do the paperwork." She shouted back as Emma gently shook her head, knowing when they'd lost.

"You're right about one thing though, Swan" Regina turned back to give them a departing grin. "It is good to have magic back!"

The End.
